Shokuhou Misaki

Misaki stared blankly at the old man in front of her for a few moments before sighing, shaking her head in a mix of disappointment and pity at how disjointed he seemed to be from the modern world. It wouldn't be stretch for her to think that her kidnapper might have been a hermit from overseas up until now, but his words about coming from another world made her massage her forehead. There was a level of insanity that she could comprehend, but this... This was on an entirely different level from chuunibyou. Though... The whole 'alternate world' theory might have some basis as things were right now...

"Okay, I can see that you're not exactly a modern-era man," she started, trying her hardest to not accidentally let slip a comment that might mock him or lower her chances of getting out of this creepy place. "So... Let's start from the basics. No, I am not from Tokyo, but I do know where that was and... A general idea of the area surrounding it. Furthermore, they have a police force that works around the city to protect it, and if you can't deal with something like pepper spray, I'm not sure you'd like to deal with a bunch of bullets flying at you, either. Even if they don't have a name, they can take pictures of you, so... You'd likely become a wanted fugitive and criminal. So I recommend... Not handling things like that. Nor kidnapping people off the streets; that usually ends up with a lot of problems."

Letting her shoulders relax a bit, the young woman took a few steps off to the side and stared at her desolate surroundings, grimacing at how it all looked. Even the smog-filled Beijin, she assumed, would be a better sight than this.

"So. Does that answer your questions? Am I free to go, or are you going to keep me locked up here like a little bird in a cage?"

Leonardo Watch

Leo watched in confusion as the giant man... Bull... Person... Was beckoned by someone else and left, leaving the car totaled in the middle of the street. He couldn't exactly do anything to help with that, given the whole situation at the moment, so all he could do was hope that the man had some sort of insurance before running to chase after Sonic. The monkey, of course, seemed happy that it had made a few friend, but simply looked at the small girl that the person it was riding on had been drawn to.

It didn't take long for the young man to catch up the the group that had spontaneously formed, considering they were only a few steps away and waiting on the side of the road, and he paused for a moment to take in what kind of weird group that had formed over the course of a few seconds.

A goddess, a giant man-bull-hybrid, a random girl, a monkey, and... Him. There were a lot of things that made this stand out, but thankfully the dawn was still breaking over the horizon; they had time to get a better location to stay for the moment.

"Erm... Hello?" he asked, poking his head around and waving at the group. "I'm sorry to be a bother, but could we maybe... Move to somewhere a bit less conspicuous? Maybe a park or something, where we won't cause any problems for people? Also... Could you please put the car down? The man inside doesn't seem to be very happy..."

The problem that his money might or might not work now just dawned on him at that moment, though, which sent a shiver down his spine. Maybe he could find something to pawn off to let them get by for a little while... At least until money wasn't an issue. A new job was probably mandatory for that sake, though...

Also the car. Bringing the man in the car along might be problematic. He probably had a job or something to go to, after all!

Hinanawi Tenshi

The young woman gritted her teeth as the keystone punched through a few of the projectiles, but came to a complete halt in her dash forward as the girl who was with her projected a barrier in front of her instead. That meant, of course, that if she kept charging forward, her face would likely meet that head-on. So that charge was paused, and Tenshi, now returning to a more focused stance, watched as the swordsman decided to turn tail and run.

"Coward. I don't know what that was all about, but I guess if he's on the run, there's no more fighting to be had, right?" she asked casually, letting her pose relax as she turned her head to survey the damage...

And acknowledge that a random girl with a giant hammer had happened upon the scene. She seemed fairly irate, all things considered, but seeing as how she didn't decide to try and bash their heads in after the other person ran for the hills, it seemed fairly safe to think that she wasn't with him. Probably.

"Ah... Okay, that was a fun warm-up and all, but I should probably make sure that giant wave of energy doesn't split this little island in two," she said, casually dropping a keystone from the sky into the ground from where it had been split. With a casual wave of her sword, Tenshi quickly spun her weapon around and slammed the keystone in, forcing the fractured ground to recombine (however messily that had been done) before she turned back to fact the two girls in front of her.

"In any case, my hunch was right. Solved an incident! I guess. Though technically the culprit is still running wild... We can chase after him when it's not night, right? Oh, sorry, sorry, I should introduce myself. Hinanawi Tenshi, Celestial from Gensokyo and proud heir to my father's title... Whatever that means. Thanks for the assist," she said, turning to face the two and smiling before turning towards the castle that now seemed to be abuzz.

Probably because of the fight earlier. Hum.

"Hm... Maybe... We should leave? I don't like the idea of dealing with a bunch of really angry people right now," she commented, letting her weapon disappear back into nothingness before hovering above the ground. "We could chase, if you wanted... Or we could just leave right now."

The faint sounds of sirens in the far distance weren't the best of signs, as far as she could tell, but even she could tell that this foreign noise was not a good omen for any of them. From what little she gathered from the people who were in the Outside World before (read: that weird Sumireko girl), sirens like that meant police, which meant that they might be marked as the ones who caused this incident!

Or, at least, that was how she understood it. The girl had rambled on for too long, but Iku had summarized the major points of it all for her, at least.

Vita

"Chibi?!" snapped Vita, almost immediately. Her already hot temper was boiling far beyond its breaking point already. She was about to ignore anyone else speaking to her and charge off and put him in the ground(literally. He wouldn't die, but he'd be in a crater at least a few meters deep). However, it was at that moment, roughly, that she picked up on... a distress call?! There was a TSAB distress call in this area?! Not only that, but it was a highly recognizable one... the tiny redhead's eyes widened.

"Nanoha?!"

It wasn't mistakable as anyone else, that much was certain. That meant that the other mage(the one that had not so long about been her enemy) was swept up in this incident as well... She'd have to find her. Quickly. But for the moment... that strange man who had run off like a coward. Was he behind this incident? If so, she'd have to pursue him as quickly.

There was no time to waste! If he was the culprit that meant tracking him down would solve the problem immediately! She could rendezvous with Nanoha as soon as possible. But with the possible one behind this incident within her grasp... Without responding to the other two, Vita was off like a shot, in hot pursuit of the fleeing man.

"Get ready, Eisen!" she shouted.

"Yes sir!" intoned the Armed Device.

Mordred

Clarent swept upwards the moment the moths appeared, the force of the resulting slash causing the insects to practically disintegrate on impact.

"A true knight's not gonna to let a half-assed mothman beat her!" she declared, only realizing he had taken to the air moments after releasing the pair of moths. Hah! As if she was going to fall for that! Still bearing a rather vicious grin, the blonde-haired knight immediately rolled to the side, allowing the blade to strike the spot she'd just occupied, biting into the earth beneath her opponent. Rising on her knees, she decided not to give him a chance to recover or attack again, tossing Clarent to her other hand. Suddenly, with a clanking sound, her helmet slid upwards. The individual parts shifted and moved, assembling a rather intimidating shape that instantly struck a distinctive silhouette as it encased her head, bearing a pair of large, sharp horns even as Mordred launched herself forward. Her freed right hand tore towards her opponent's weapon in a bid to keep her enemy from dislodging his sword from the earth...

As the 'true knight' rather uncouthly hurled herself forward in order to deliver a horned headbutt directly to the moth man's torso.

Cagliostro

"Magus?" Pausing for a moment and dropping her child-like facade as she murmured the words various time in a low tone, the diminutive immortal glanced back up at the pseudo-Draph for a moment before taking in the small group that gathered about the area, nodding towards the squinty-eyed man's words. "I am an alchemist which is probably close to but not specifically what you are referring to." No use hiding around the bush considering how everyone looked rather different from the surroundings in general, i.e. they were probably in the same circumstances considering how much wonder and/or confusion could be seen in their gazes.

"I am the great Cagliostro though probably none of you know of me or my... famous name. And your suggestion is sound, though I don't think anyone of us here knows this places all that well... still, anything is better in this congestion. The noise and sounds are pretty strong." Humphing as she waved a dainty hand around, she then stepped forward to hold it out towards the giant bull man. "You especially look like you need some street smarts so let's get going." Though he was ever so much the equivalent of a mountain of muscle and meat, he was ironically the existence closest to an actual child to her eyes at the moment, even more than the girl in the frog hat. Millennia of experiences and extra senses helped in that regard, really. An alchemist could see much more than regular people and she could tell at a glance that things were not as they seemed in general... much like herself.

Tohka Yatogami
"I think we should leave before the Mecha-Mecha Squad find us," Tohka replied to Rainbow Girl just as the sound of sirens began to blare closer and closer to them. Before she could even turn to Hammer Girl she had already flown away, following Weird Armor Guy.

"Hey, wait!" Tohka yelled to her.

"Hmm... I guess that we have to follow her now, right? Maybe we will find something if we stick together?" Tohka said to Rainbow Girl before beginning to follow Vita. She turned around a moment later, taking a look to see if Rainbow Girl was following her or not.

Nanoha Takamachi
"Hmm..." Nanoha frowned as the incident took an unforeseen turn. She wasn't expecting the creator of those moth familiars to show their face before them so easily. After all, what's the point of using poison if you aren't going to wait for your target to be debilitated first? However, she was expecting even less that she would be totally ignored in favor of Mordred; while the 24 Axel Shooter bullets were still in the air around the very knight that the mysterious man assaulted!

"Very well then, if they are going to be this arrogant, let's us use this to our advantage," Nanoha said as she commanded the bullets to attack their assailant from several angles at once. Her intention wasn't hitting him —unless he was someone like Vita, who prefers to tank hit, instead of dodging— but to force him away from Mordred so that she could get a clean shot with her bombardment magic. If he refused to dodge to the direction Nanoha wanted him to, he would most certainly be hit by a salvo of Axel Shooters. Dodging cleanly would require something like Fate's level of speed and reflexes, which Nanoha doubted that anyone else could have.

"Mordred, take care," Nanoha shouted as the dry clicks of four cartridges being loaded in rapid succession —because Nanoha knows no restraint— rang in the air as she raised Raising Heart toward her target area and began to charge her signature attack, "Excellion... BUSTER!" she shot the pink beam of destruction, as soon as the Red Knight was out of harm's way.

Menomaru

"You still don't get it?! How strong I am!"

He was however surprised she had been able to fend off his initial attack. Even moreso when she used her sword to cut through his moths. But they were more a distraction and an attempt to weaken the girl's visual senses. He did not ponder on it. He had leapt up into the air and came down but the girl had swiftly rolled out of the way.

She was fast. Faster than Inuyasha, whom was a half-demon. This girl however physically appeared to be just human. Yet her strength and speed told him otherwise. She were empowered by someone else if not that sword. There was just no way that a mere human could stand against him. A Daiyokai. A great demon. Who were over twohundred years old. His skills with the sword were that good that he seldom needed to use any other powers.

Yet this girl was causing him so much trouble. It irritated him.

He quickly pulled his blade back after his stab. His light blade was easily pulled back at quick speed. The girl in the knight armoring had however reached out to try to prevent him from pulling it back. Had he had wielded a heavier blade he would had been in real trouble.

Then when Menomaru was preparing to slash her arm off with his sword, the armored girl donned a intimidating looking helmet. An appearance that Menomaru had never seen before. Then she tried to headbutt him, a reckless or dangerous manuever according to some. Menomaru was however caught abit offguard by it.

Being an expert swordsman he never expected someone using their head in that way. Especially not after having seen the girl's actions. How they almost seemed to predict his movements in some strange way. He was hit in his chestplate, the horned pieces of the helmet would crack a piece of it and inflicting blunt damage to his chest from the impact alone. Sending him backwards gliding abit along the ground as he did. He grunted heavily.

He was baffled. How could she? He gritted his teeth and was about to lunge back into it when the odd looking magical things hovering around the knight began to shoot straight in his direction. At high speed. Menomaru jumped backwards abit further and into the air. The things followed him all coming from all manner of directions, he tried to place himself so most of them would come towards him head-on.

"You cannot defeat me! I am invincible."

He turned himself into some form of pink particles, like those moths were shredding. Any remaining moths would form up and regroup in his direction as he made his way towards Andersen. Having the magical projectiles fly past him, through or stalk him depending on how the spells actually worked, but he was not physical in form anymore, the large pink beam had hit him straight on aswell but to no avail. How could it try to affect something which had no body to render paralyzed or immobilize. Menomaru would try to envelop Andersen in the particles and drag him with him up into the air. Effectively trying to kidnap him and thus possibly preventing the others from attacking.

Menomaru would not underestimate them again. These humans were clearly empowered beyond what some would call normal.

How was this possible?

If he could take the young boy he could use him as bait to lure the rest to his area of chosing. Perhaps to a place where the knight could not interfere. High on top of one of these oddly shaped buildings.

Ben stood up and brushed the ashes off of his pants. He cracked his fingers and paused in thought.

"So what you're saying is that you're a liability and I should leave you here. If I let you go there's a chance you could tell the people who guard this city about me. You would think that my choice would be an easy one. If you aren't from here either then I doubt anyone would miss you for a while."

He took twelve evenly spaced paces, turned on his heel and returned to where he started. Ben reached into a pocket of his robe and started to sort through the contents. After a moment he held out a small acorn.

"But I don't dirty my own hands if I don't have to. With Oponns luck it won't come to that. There could be things here that you aren't prepared to deal with. I'll indebt myself to you, one favour. Crush this underfoot and I will be able to find you."

With his free hand he gestured and opened a portal back to Tokyo.

It didn't take long for the prison to be entirely overrun with the guards having no control over any of the doors and the sharpshooters in the towers taken down. Flagg distributed the weapons to those that he found worthy, that he could see small parts of himself reflected in.

His army of convicts held the sole bridge connecting it to the mainland. Soon sirens could be heard converging from the city itself with police helicopters already in the air.

Mordred

"Hah!"

Mordred's uncomfortable, weighty helmet retracted just as swiftly as it had appeared, revealing her head once more. Her headbutt had been successful, she'd almost busted that bastard's chestplate wide open! She realized quickly enough, thankfully, that the magical girl was preparing her own attack and quickly moved back in time to see an enormous pink laser tear her way. Yeah, that sure was a magical girl's kind of magecraft. She knew that well enough from seeing Illya. Unfortunately, the beam hadn't hit home, instead the guy had turned into... some kind of pink mist or something? Damn it, that made him way hard to hit!

"Coward!" snapped the blonde-haired knight, glaring at the drifting pink particles. She just wanted to get in close and sink Clarent into his chest up to its hilt as soon as she could! Unfortunately, it seemed like the moth man had other plans, as he was making a beeline straight for... Andersen.

The bastard was going right for the weakest member of their group, the one who was just about totally useless in a close range fight. Or a long range fight. Really, fighting wasn't the Caster's area of expertise. He was better at supporting those around him. Not that Mordred would ever praise the sarcastic little son of a bitch for that.

But right now he was in the most danger. So Mordred did the first thing that came to mind.

That is, charging right at him with her shoulder tipped forward. He'd get knocked out of the way and she'd be right in the way of the bastard moth man!

The diminutive vampire took a seated position as the fighting started, treating the air like a padded bench. The interloper's bout of swordplay wasn't half as interesting as the barrier that had been established; she knew that one of Fate's underlings had an artefact to a similar effect but sealing off a large area--replicating the world down to the last detail, including the recently destroyed tree--like this was a prodigious feat. It certainly wasn't the sort of enclosed space in her own repertoire and for this child to pull it out so easily... did she have any idea how complicated something like this really was?

The fight, meanwhile, she would have to grade at maybe a 2/10. It didn't give her a good idea of what the knight could really do if pushed to it, no idea of Andersen's capabilities... and he wasn't even an entertaining foe. "I might be a demon but you aren't even that. You're a warm-up boss at best. What villain even spouts such clichéd lines in this day and age? If you're going to be a villain, put in a bit more effort."

Or at least reserve the ham for when you had the advantage, nobody liked a sore loser.

If this girl wanted to lead him somewhere, as she was the closest thing to a temporary Master he could find... then he would let her, it wasn't like anyone could be less experienced with an urban environment. They were so different in size and she barely came up to his leg, though... it might be a bit hard for her to lead him by the hand. If she wanted to give him directions then there was an easier way to do it--though the bull-man hadn't quite thought through that most people would probably be terrified of such an enormous figure reaching down to scoop them up. Of course, if Cagliostro didn't resist, then she'd find herself with a nice vantage point and seat, perched on one immense shoulder.

"Lead the way..."

Aaaah, she was lost--totally and completely lost. Well, that wasn't true, she knew perfectly well where she was--it was Tokyo, there was no mistaking that. Her phone also confirmed that she was in Tokyo, but that was where the reassurances ended; even with a signal, she couldn't call anyone. Not even the commander could be reached and if she had a signal, Hibiki was certain that she should be able to reach SONG without difficulty.

Really, though, the reason she was so lost was that aside from her phone and Gungnir, she really wasn't equipped to be wandering around outside. The last thing that she remembered was being in bed with Miku, where it was warm... and definitely not wearing the right sort of clothing for wandering around like this. If she couldn't find someone familiar--or at least someone willing to lend her some clothes--soon, she might have to use Gungnir just to deal with the wind.

Shokuhou Misaki

Though her face didn't show it, Misaki was quite concerned by how the weird man managed to see through the holes in her (admittedly hastily-generated) excuses over the course of a few seconds. The comment about keeping her locked in here, though, caused chills to run down Misaki's spine. That worry seemed to be somewhat unfounded, though, as the man held out an acorn (an acorn?) and opened up a portal back to Tokyo. Hesitating for a few moments, Misaki reached out and carefully took the acorn from the man's hand before quickly leaping back out of the portal. Even if that acorn was a tracking device of sorts, so long as he had some sort of vested interest, she probably wouldn't be caught in some sort of terrifying situation like that again.

Or so she would have liked to home, but even she knew that this would likely only be the start of her troubles.

Leonardo Watch

With this weird ragtag bunch of people now following him, Leo decided to (for once) take charge and lead the way. The city thus far seemed to be quite similar to Hellsalem's Lot, with the distinct exception of both a lack of fog over the sky and the more unnatural buildings and frequency of death. In that regard, this city was a lot more normal, and the idea that this was a New York City before the Great Collapse was finally starting to have some merit to it. It didn't being him any closer to finding the answers about his eyes, of course, but at least he wasn't running for his life like usual.

It didn't take long for the group to reach a park, and the abundant greenery and trees at the entrance alone definitely gave Leo a calming feeling. There were a few weird looks from passersby here and there, but once the group moved a bit deeper into the park, people in general didn't really appear. That was likely due to the time of day, of course, but all the better for them.

"Well, uh... I think this is a good place to sit down for a moment," he said, letting himself sit down on the grass as Sonic scampered its way back onto his head. "Um... Would this be a good time for everyone to introduce themselves? I'm not entirely sure how to go about this, but... I guess I'll start? My name is Leonardo Watch. The monkey on my head is named Sonic. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Leo, of course, knew how awkward trying to say all of this was, but at the very least if there were other people caught in this strange predicament, it was only right to try and help.
Right?

Granted, though, the sounds of helicopters flying overhead wasn't exactly the most reassuring of things to hear...

Hinanawi Tenshi

Tenshi cocked her head to the side at the blue-haired girl's mention of the "Mecha-Mecha Squad" or something along those lines. The terminology was almost completely and utterly foreign to her, but given how the other girl didn't seem to want to come into contact with them, the Celestial found it safe to assume that they were likely... Not someone pleasant to have to deal with.

"I guess I can't help but follow!" Tenshi exclaimed, a battle-hungry smirk on her face as she flew off after the two girls in pursuit of the cowardly stranger. Though this place didn't follow the same rules of Gensokyo, there was nothing wrong with getting some payback for swinging at her before running away. Even if he didn't land anything, it still felt like she had to return a blow after all of that!

Increasing her speed as she flew forward, Tenshi quickly summoned two keystones, one at each side, before firing off a large barrage of bullets towards her target.

"Yep, if it's come to this, then danmaku has to be the answer! Though, uh... Hopefully that doesn't attract more attention here..."

Alberich

He finally came to stop in the middle of a small clearing surrounded by all those trees. This place would suit him well to use as a last defense. Alberich didn't know how many of them would follow him or how quickly it would take them to get here. But he knew that at least two of them were the types to not stop and give chase after a target.

This wasn't good however. He would have preferably had bargained with them or using them in some way. As things had proceeded now however, having been unable to seal Tenshi away in an amethyst prison because of the meddling of that other girl. The girl with the flaming sword had resorted to using smaller projectile attacks. They had been able to tear at his body, but they were not fatal. Not to him. These kind of things would prove worthless against his family technique for certain.

The other girl with the larger sword had however been able to create those massive blasts of energy. These however did worry him. If such would come towards him he would have to break his concentration and get out of the way. But if he would then he would certainly be lunged at by the other two.

Alberich knew he had to somehow entangle her if possible to stop her from doing just that. The third girl, the one he had refered to as a chibi. He knew she was able to maintain midair flight and carried some weapon with her. Other than that he had nothing on her.

Melee attacks were also worthless against his family technique, the saints of Athena had tried to push their way through to try get to Alberich when he was using his power but without success, ending up being knocked down towards the ground, grappled or forced to dodge incoming wooden stakes.

Without further ado, Alberich raised his sword before him closing his eyes for a moment, the very air around him, the earth, the trees. Everything began to emit ghostly sounds and change in colors before he stretched out his sword just when the first of the girls arrived on the scene.

It was the girl with the hammer-like weapon. Two orbs shot out from Alberich outwards, but they didn't aim for the girl but the trees around him.

"Don't take Alberich lightly! Behold my family technique! Nature Unity!"

Suddenly the trees all around began to change in color completely turning into a hue of pink. And moving. The trees were moving on their own.

Their roots reaching out of the ground below in the middle of the clearing, the larger branches of the trees reaching outwards stretching. And horrible white eyes would become visible from the surrounding trees as the area itself seemed to have gotten darker. The earth began to rumble and split, chasms would form up and make the ground quite unsteady.

That's when the other two girls arrived on the scene, abit after the first one had shown up. The girl whom he had tried to engage first. Tenshi was the first to attack.

She flung bullet-like projectiles towards him.Alberich had no intention of being hit by them. A large number of enourmous roots came out of the ground before him and blocked the incoming projectiles. Even though some of the roots were being destroyed in the process as the bullets tore through them, more sprung out of the ground to bolster his defenses, he wouldn't let himself be interupted. Not yet. If only he could keep the girl with the large energy blast from using her power, they surely wouldn't be able to reach him.
"Spirits of nature! Have your fun with them! I'll offer you them as a sacrifice!"

An enourmous root lept out of the ground itself trying to grab hold of Tohka's entire form to keep her stuck, while four large branches the size of lamp-posts, stretched across the clearing tried to slam into Vita. Then lastly there would come wooden stakes from all around the clearing, with the size of a forearm, all of them would fly towards Tenshi in bursts.

Alberich himself was not doing any attack himself. He stood there with his eyes opened, his sword raised high up into the air whilst his family technique did the work for him. He was concentrating and making sure it would do short work of them. Or at least provide him with an opening he needed to land his amethyst sealed attack.

If he could seal one of them into it. Then he could turn the tide by using their feelings and compassion.

For once he felt abit of confidence. Even if they were three. No... there was a fourth aswell who stood further away in midair. The idea of yet another being near unsettled him. But he couldn't lose focus now or he would lose for certain and who knows what these girls would do to him.

Emilio

He had followed the red clad girl for quite some bit, without his spectral wings activated, watching her fly over an area with trees and then she darted off as if chasing someone or something. Emilio looked closer and saw two others darting off behind her.

Heh. Are those really Psychiccers? Not human. He pondered and then quickly darted after them at full speed. Following the trio to what seemed to be a clearing of some kind with a fourth person standing in it, wielding a crystal-like sword in his hand and donning some odd looking armor.

Haah. That is a strange get-up. He looked them over from abit of a safe distance. The young man they were fighting was clearly trying to take them all on. The trees they were moving, their branches and roots were stretching out, they were grabbing and attempting to slam the three girls. And some wooden projectiles were hurled all over the place towards one in particular.

The man in question just stood there with his arm raised up holding unto that sword of his. He did look quite silly doing that Emilio thought. It was clear to him now that these people were neither psychiccers nor humans. What was going on?

Oddly enough he felt like he wanted to join in on the chaos, but watching them he could learn abit more of what they were actually capable of. That's when he noticed a small moth coming flying past him. Instinctively he slashed with his hand in its direction, letting the moth split in two.

"You poor thing... I've released you from your suffering... heh...heh" He would say. Watching the split remains of the moth fall downwards through the air towards the scenery that unfolded just a little bit away from where he floated midair.

Vita

Vita tore through the air towards the fleeing man, who seemed to have come to a halt ahead. If he was the culprit, she'd smash him into the ground so hard he wouldn't come out of the crater for a week! Of course, it wasn't like he was giving himself up to be planted in the earth by Eisen either. As the redheaded girl began to close in, she realized that he'd summoned some sort of plant-based attack from her left side! It wasn't a specific type of magic she was aware of, but that didn't mean her response to it was going to be any different! Raising Eisen, Vita began to turn. She needed the hammer's head to be a bit bigger...

"Eisen!"

A cartridge loaded with a mechanical whine and click.

"Gigantform!" declared the Armed Device, and in an instant the head of the hammer suddenly grew, expanding larger then the entirety of Vita's own diminutive frame. With a shout, Vita swung her hammer, and on impact the wooden tendrils exploded into splinters, what remained of them knocked off course and into the earth with a tremendous thud and a scattering of dust and debris to the wind. But, of course, Vita didn't stop there, using her momentum from the swing to immediately propel herself forward, yelling as she practically threw herself towards her target.

Konpaku Youmu

It was a complex dance, in a way. Something that the silver-haired girl was used to performing. And yet, no matter how many times she had done the steps, she continued again and again. She was still in training. No matter how accomplished she became, she could always improve. she still hadn't reached Grandfather's level. To truly live up to her family name, she had to keep practicing.

Her katana cut the air, the misty form of her phantom half elegantly whirling through the air as the water fell around her. Roukanken's edge struck a single droplet and parted it. Than another. Than another.

Konpaku Youmu sheathed her blade as the water fell around her. Without pause, she drew Hakuroken. In a single motion, she cut three more droplets of water before they could hit the ground. The wakizashi was sheathed in an instant on her hip. Youmu straightened. The number of droplets had nearly doubled, her blades slicing them through so swiftly that she increased the amount. And yet this wasn't enough. No, if she wanted to reach Grandfather's level, she had to train harder. Placing one hand lightly on Roukanken's hilt, the small girl looked up. Her phantom half followed her gaze. The second bucket was hanging from a thin pole of metal, supported between two wooden struts. The wispy form of her phantom half shot forward and struck the bucket, flipping the contents and letting the water fall out.

First, to divide it into droplets. Youmu drew Roukanken and swung it upwards, the blade and rushing air parting the falling liquid. In a flash, she had sheathed it again, shutting her eyes.

Then...!

Youmu opened her eyes, and just barely stopped herself from drawing the blade when she realized her surroundings were no longer the gardens of Hakugyokurou. In fact, it was some place she had never seen. Stone streets, tall buildings of glass and steel... indeed, it was completely unlike the architecture of Gensokyo, the things that Youmu was used to. Was it the outside world? How had she suddenly entered the Outside World?!

"... I... what... is..."

There were... helicopters? Flying overhead... That's what those were called, right? Those strange, flying, spinning contraptions? And...

A bridge? This had to be the Outside World...

Cagliostro

"Yes, much better. Instead of looking like we're a bunch of misfits in the middle of the crossroads, we can look like misfits huddling in an out of the way place to waylay someone." Looking both rather amused and bemused from her perch atop the taller than average pseudo-Draph's head, the alchemist tsked as she continued touching the branches of the various trees that passed by before snapping her finger when they stopped in place.

The arboreal plants touched would then grow steadily, spreading about them to create a ring to further block them from view via camouflage. Anyone who'd go deep into the park would easily find that there was the equivalent of an upside down giant bird nest that sprung into view but anyone that didn't venture too close would simply find that the camouflage served to make it extremely hard to find anything amiss within the depths of the place. "Anyways, you can all call me Cagliostro. I am the greatest alchemist in the various skydoms." Puffing up her chest and crowing her own self-praise as naturally as breathing, the girl looked rather smug with herself.

Tohka followed closely behind Rainbow Girl; she took this position after the other girl began firing back at the Weird Armor Guy. To say the truth, Tohka still didn't understand everything that was happening. In fact, she wondered if they couldn't just have talked instead of doing these dangerous things. All that she wanted was to go back home and have a date with Shidou, if one of them could help her, she would be willing to listen.

"Who knows what that Tobiichi Origami is going to do while I'm not there?" Tohka though while flying absentmindedly.

When she came back to reality, some weird roots or something like this was trying to capture her. Tohka tried to slash at them, taking down as many as she could but it was useless. Soon enough, she was enveloped in a thick wooden cocoon, restraining her mobility.

There was one way for Tohka to escape.

The atmosphere itself rumbled as she expanded her Spirit aura, releasing more of her powers. Thankfully, Tohka had the self-control to stop before causing a Space Quake in the middle of the city. That said, she was beginning to get full of this, especially because the Weird Armor Guy didn't think twice before attacking them multiple times.

If he really wanted a fight, Tohka would give him a fight. She had to restrain herself because she wasn't fighting another Spirit but, if he could capture her like he did before, he wouldn't get —too much— hurt by an attack strong enough to blow a two-story house, right? At least Tohka thought so before she shot an orb of concentrated energy from her extended palm, straight at him.

— Imperial Warren => Tokyo —

As Misaki left Ben stood still for a heartbeat and then slashed his hand through the air, dissolving the portal. The mage stood for a minute and then noticed that, along with not remembering where he had been before ending up in this strange work, he had no idea when he had last eaten.

Quick Ben took several dozen steps, picturing in his mind what he wanted and then slashed his hand through the air again without breaking pace. He emerged on a street that wouldn't have looked too terribly out of place in Itko Kan, if one ignored the massive buildings that rose above the food stalls that lined the streets.

Now Ben was faced with another problem. He was certain he had none of the money that they might use in this place.

To throw themselves across the bridge would cause a fantastic massacre, both for the police on the other side and the escapees. Unfortunately his manpower was limited or he would do just that. Instead he left the room, closing the door behind himself. Flagg lifted his hood and disappeared around the corner, quite literally, as he quickly drew a doorway on the wall and stepped through it.

The Walking Man emerged from a phone booth on the far side of the bridge, chuckling softly.

"A demon? More like a familiar, or Lost Logia than a normal mage?" Nanoha said as she heard Evangeline's comment about their opponent. The powers that he used were indeed far more like those of a familiar than a human's which meant that...

"If that's the case, we have something much better to take care of him. Right, Raising Heart?" she addressed her Intelligent Device while twirling it around herself, like a gymnast's baton. Once the staff-like device was firmly in Nanoha's grasp again, it had changed back to its Default Mode. A relatively small magical circle under her Nanoha's feet signaled the release of another spell; not quite as destructive as the others but still far better suited for the current situation.

"Target within optimal range," Raising Heart said as wings of cherry blossom-colored light sprouted from it.

"Lyrical! Magical!"

"Begin Sealing."

"Unidentified target, Seal it!"

Upon Nanoha's command, several ribbons of pink magical energy appeared from a magical circle under the cloud of particles that their target turned into. They would leash around him and deactivate any and all magic powers that he may have active at the moment while preventing further usage of magic of any kind.

"Now, Raising Heart!"

"Yes, Master! Restrict Lock!"

To make sure that the target would remain under their power, Nanoha added a bind on top of the Sealing, making sure that he wouldn't be going anywhere before he answered a few questions beginning with, "Who are you? What are you trying to do? And, why did you release air-carried toxins in the middle of a civilian area?" all asked in quick succession by Nanoha while she held him quite literally at gunpoint.

The least attempt to do anything other than talking would be replied with a point-blank Divine Buster to the face.

Konpaku Youmu

This scenario was far too strange. Those outside world vehicles, and... some sort of commotion going on at the other side of the bridge? It didn't take long for the small silver-haired girl to conclude this was some kind of incident. Therefore, the only logical course of action was to see just what was occurring. With this in mind, Youmu started across the bridge. Her phantom half drifted along behind her, and sure enough it did indeed become clear there was something occurring on the other side of the bridge. There was a great deal of men, fully human as far as she could discern, some of them carrying something she didn't quite recognized. It seemed familiar, in some respects, but she couldn't place her finger on just what those things they were carrying were.

One of them pointed at her, and said something she couldn't make out to the others.

Youmu raised her hand and waved.

"Hello!" she called, "Do you know what's-"

There was a sound almost like a crack of thunder, and something tore towards her. Instinct took over in an instant and she ducked to the side, expression hardening as she smoothly drew Roukanken and lashed out, the gleaming blade flashing in the daylight as it cut the projectile cleanly in two, dampening the shot's momentum and sending both pieces off-course. Quickly, this lead the silver-haired girl to a number of conclusions.

The first was that it wasn't danmaku. The second was that these were enemies. The third was that, since they were ordinary people from the outside world, Youmu was not going to use any lethal methods unless absolutely necessary.

As the men seemed to express surprise at what she had done, the small girl drew Hakurouken as well.

Putting on a burst of speed, Youmu immediately darted into the midst of the men, directly in front of the man who had fired his weapon at her. He only had a split second to gasp in shock and take a step back before she drove Roukanken's hilt directly into his chest, his eyes bulging as he let out a strangled yell. The impact set him back about two meters before he hit the ground and rolled, passed out from the blow.

The other men were, needless to say, somewhat shocked. Youmu reminded herself that the outside world very likely wasn't used to such displays as she raised both her katana.

The first one to raise his weapon again after her arrival had it promptly sliced in half.

Alberich

Alberich kept his focus as Vita cut through the outstretched branches from the trees. One of the large roots had taken hold Tohka, Alberich was pleased. She was now unable to- He felt something. The girl was breaking free. Not only her. The red clad girl was lunging for him at the same time.

Alberich had to move. He had to do something. He ceased using his technique. Then he lunged with his crystal sword fully lightening the fire around it, he made a slashing motion from the top of his shoulder downwards to the smaller girl's arms.

His blade hit her weapon and was flung out of his hands, flying up into the air before landing on the ground causing several lines of fire to spread outwards towards the various vegetation, lighting it on fire.

He had slided past her during his lunge and was now right behind her looking over his shoulder, with his hands slightly trembling from having lost his weapon. That's when the large roots and branches that still were about, now firm and not moving were torn apart as an orb came flying towards him.

"Why you-" He was hit by the blast itself. He didn't know if the red clad girl was hit aswell, but Alberich was flung towards a nearby tree, slamming against it with his back as the tree broke in half and he flew several metres further, landing on the ground facedown with his arms stretched out in front of his head.

The ground had knocked the air out of him. He could feel how his body was sore and battered by the blast. With a taste of blood in his mouth and aching pain throughout his body. He was still alive however. He had not sustained a fatal wound, despite the power of that blast. The roots and branches that had come inbetween had taken some of the force, not to mention his god robe armor.

Alberich had failed in beating the three of them with the technique. Those larger blasts were a problem for it. But against those relying on swords alone or overall melee or smaller projectiles. His technique was a deathtrap.

Alberich did not know if they would try to kill him. But for now. The best thing he could do was to lie down and still. As if he was dead. Sooner or later one of them would come up to check on him. He knew their type. The stupid and naive kind. Or so he thought. And that's when he would take his chance.

He would patiently wait there. Waiting to reach out his arm and shoot that spray of acid from his right bracer towards the first ones face when gotten close enough. It would surely catch them offguard and give him enough time to possibly seal that one in the Amethyst sealed. Then he would be holding all the cards.

The final gamble.

Emilio

Emilio had moved closer, hovering midair still without his spectral wings. One of his hands by his waist and the other arm hanging down in a relaxed way. He was however highly aware of his surroundings and watching the various people present with curiousity.

"Aha? You've stopped moving?" He said out loud making no attempt to hide from the girls or the seemingly knocked out man whom he was refering to. "What is going on here? You are not psychiccers or humans. I don't get it at all. This is all strange."

He lowered his mouth inside of his collared vest. "Are you idiots? The army will be here soon. Heh heh. Now what will you do? Destroy them or each other? He is still alive isn't he? What will they do if they catch you? Haah...?"

"Hmmm..."

Really, Andersen couldn't be bothered paying much attention to what the others were fighting about right now. After all, he wasn't much of a fighter himself anyway, and he'd most likely just be a detriment to the whole thing, so it was best if he just stayed out of the way and tried to do something constructive instead. Thus, as he cowered behind Mordred, he took out his tablet and begin flicking through apps, trying to find something that might help him figure out just what was going on.

"...Hang on... That face looks... Familiar..." Eyeing a certain app, the Caster rolled his eyes. "You've got to be kidding m-"

Before he could finish that thought, though, he was knocked to the ground as Mordred suddenly slammed into him. Normally, this would have led to him spewing out a disgruntled tirade at the knight, but after seeing what had been heading towards him before she'd knocked him out of the way... Rolling his eyes once more, his body shimmered with golden light as he disappeared, transforming into his spirit form.

"Can't you leave me out of your petty squabbles for just once, Mordred? Hmph..." Even as a disembodied voice, Andersen's annoyance was perfectly clear.

Menomaru

The boy was out of his reach, tackled to the ground by the heavily armored girl. The boy had stood there holding unto some device. Another weapon? Were he too slow? He did not ponder on it for long for something was under him, reaching out and enveloping his form. Forcing him out as if nullifying his magic. Menomaru tried to uphold the magic but it was as if it was sucked out of him. What in the great demons hell was going on?

He hit the ground with some pink colored ribbons around him. Still clinging to his sword in hand but he was restricted. He tried to teleport but it didn't work.

What?! Impossible! How could I be beaten by these?!

The surprise of having been restrained by these people bothered him. They were not even great demons.

"My name... is Menomaru. I am trying to see what kind of demon that girl is, she destroyed my spies with that magic of hers. In other words she attacked a part of me. These moths you see. I can see everything they see. These toxins is just a defense to render the weak unable to resist." Menomaru was devising a plan to try make it out of his situation before the hotheaded knight woman would try chop his head off.

"I could for example tell you about the group fighting each other away from here. Likely by now putting things on fire with their powerful swords. Who knows how many 'civilians' that will be affected." Menomaru was narrowing his eyes to Mordred.

"That woman there is being empowered by something aswell. There is just no way a mere human would be able to stand against someone as great as I. What dark power did you submit to for that power? Bold one? I could offer you more power if you serve me." He turned his head to Nanoha as good as he could. "As for you priestess. You possess quite the potent sacred power. It is as if you were from a different world. All of you."

Menomaru did a cruel laugh, perhaps aimed at his situation or all of them. "Ah it makes sense now. That must be it. We are in a different world. That's why my father's remains are nowhere to be found. Who knows what else has slipped to this place! And how will you find them? I have the key! Release me. Undo this seal and I shall find them for you. Little priestess. Surely your not going to let your pride and murderous intent blind you from saving those humans from death?"

If he could sway the priestess then perhaps she would end up into a conflict with the others. Then he could possibly make for his escape and find allies.

Mordred

"Grrr... is that any way to treat your savior, you little bastard?!" Mordred snapped. She'd kept him from... whatever the hell the moth man was going to try and do, but of course he just has to be snarky rather then actually be grateful... Regardless, she quickly turned to face her enemy only to watch as he was bound in some kind of magical pink ribbon. It wasn't hard to guess who'd handled that, but it meant that he couldn't go after Andersen again.

And that he couldn't move. He couldn't dodge or escape.

After pausing only for a moment to listen to his rambling, Mordred rested Clarent on her shoulder and rolled her eyes.

"Blah blah blah," Mordred replied, brushing it off with a wave of her free hand. Like she was going to listen to a single thing this scumbag said. "I don't care how you try to justify it. I don't care at all. You released poison into the air where any innocent person could walk right in and die."

The blonde knight's armored feet clanked against the ground as she approached the man, lowering Clarent off her shoulder. Her expression was grim only for a moment, before turning into a rather vicious grin. She hated this bastard, so the chance to dispense some justice, get rid of the kind of person who didn't care how many people got hurt...

"And you don't even care. Not one bit. If some kid had walked in and choked to death on your poison, you've just brushed it off. So I'm not gonna let you live."

Mordred raised her sword and-
