After much debating with myself over whether or not, I've decided that it's for the best that I drop out.

A lotta my enthusiasm and energy was drained hard by the exams and whatnot, which I apologise for. My activity's been ebbing pretty hard too, so I guess this is just confirming what's been the status quo for me for a while.

Sorry about that, guys. It was fun RPing with you all.

Does the spirit have to be of the same element/type with the vessel? So Esther would have a wind spirit?

Yes, they have to match elemental traits. However, nothing is preventing her from adding a second element alongside wind, of you want something new.

Place a size/mass limit on that shapeshift ability and everything will be ok. The way it's now, especially with your example of dragons, makes it seem like she can transform into something as large as Diana, which is kinda very above the power tier your characters are.

Either way, he can have another form for his vessel, yes. I still don't recommend the spread focus, but it's your choice. However, you have to place some limits on that power as well because a personal fighting dimension with automatic capture powers and no proper limits for size/time/etc. is very, very powerful as well.

The limit I had was that to use it, he has to basically abandon his Vessel. He enters the book, but the book remains outside, therefore he needs someone to hold on to it for him, or... well, it could get stolen, it could get lost, it could end up nations away, it could end up in a river somewhere, or other randomness.

I mean an actual limit on its functionality. As it's, that ability has the potential to be greatly abused, for example, to completely nullify the threat of a boss fight.

We'll dictate that it, at the very least, has power level limit and, anything above a certain threshold that we deem reasonable, will not get captured. I hope you understand that we have our reasons to be wary of this kind of power being used for things we didn't foresee and, the kind of arguments that can come from such circumstances.

Summing it up: aside from any logical restrictions like not being able to capture a whole ship, or building, at once; we'll say if any specific NPC can or not be captured when you try to do it IC.

That's part of what I added when I transferred it to my CS.

Only individuals who have to intent to follow, meaning they already know about the ability, and he's fine with them coming, are able to enter. Someone doesn't know about it, or knows about it but doesn't want to enter with him won't be able to.

Caught a cold, the computer screen isn't very nice when there is a fever.

EDIT: But working on Egwene's spirit slowly, the ETA for the IC post will be after it approve, because I wrote most of it up & stored it in text file.
