The colors I am most partial to are green, tan, and brown, as they are easy upon the eyes in the majority of cases and feel the most welcoming as well as most practical. Blue has a related place there as it just feels entirely appropriate, yet the color itself I feel but limited connection to and interest. It sort of floats among the three, somewhere in between.

According to Jungian psychology and archetypes, as well as thanks to extensive reading and subsequent testing, I am predominantly made up of parts that are the Beast, the Father, the Magician, and the Sage. These, unsurprisingly, correlate very well to the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator and the OCEAN Five Factor Model as well.

Contrary to popular belief, I am actually not a tundra, let alone one of the altered variety. I am, at times, as cold as the tundra. That can be altered depending wholly on the situation.

Here I am looking at my laptop. My 8-year old daughter comes down, takes over the TV and plays Minecraft on XBox. Then just up and leaves and I'm stuck listening to this nauseating (Minecraft) music.

People attempt to characterize me as a cynic and misanthrope, as though those are bad qualities to acquire and retain. Everyone has their mechanisms for dealing with the incompetence of people, after all. I cannot say mine have ever disappointed me in the slightest, however. To date, I cannot note any time or period where being wary or distrustful of people has done more harm than good. After all, one is more likely to be pleasantly surprised when interaction or consequence goes well for once.

When dealing with incompetence, I overlook their mistakes. If they are someone I can correct, I will make an effort. If they are someone I cannot correct, I wash my hands of them and avoid in the future until I see improvements in their behavior. I always take a positive spin on associating with others.
