"I'm fine, thanks for asking. Also its been a while since I played capture the flag. I'm sure its going to be interesting to say the least." He lets out a chuckle before hearing Rost speak. "Sure thing, professor Smith." It was then he saw Mason enter the room. The smile on his face turns into an almost uncaring and neutral line as he casts his gaze upon the shadow demon. Richard was suspicious of Mason, rightfully so considering they had to detain him a number of hours ago, though if he wanted to have a seamless team building exercise...Richard would have to swallow his pride and actually attempt to 'work' with a demon. Richard huffs out the breath he wasn't aware he was holding and prays to God for the strength and determination to do so.

Astra offers Argus a curt nod before observing that one other individual had entered the premises. As per usual, she analyzes the new one.
Name Unknown
Species: Demon [Unknown Type]
Physical Status: Healthy
Mental Status: Scared
System Notification

'Proposal: Demonic entity detected and is Scared. Report findings to Head Researcher Rost Smith.' She is quick to act upon the proposal and walks over to Rost. "Head Researcher, there is an anomaly detected. There is a demon present and it appears to be scared. Should I contact security personnel?"

Argus

"Gives us the opportunity to learn what everyone else can do. Knowledge is the key to victory, after all." Argus glanced at Rost but didn't give any response to the technical explanation; as long as the training simulation worked he didn't care about the details.

Rost

"I've played a few times myself, when I was a boy." Rost turned away from the controls as Mason entered, noting the demon's hesitation and aversion to Richard. The scholarly agent waved dismissively to Astra, "There's no cause for alarm, Miss Astra. Mason has been dealt with, he's of no danger to us. In fact, he has been invited to join the agency. Not an uncommon practice, by my understanding."

Griffin followed the director out of the meeting room. They made their way to the director's office. The two of them talked about ways to keep him in the agency. The vampire counsel wanted to put someone they could control into the agency. The director wanted someone he could use. Griffin had the training. He had been helping the MIB for years. He simply didn't have experience with to in groups. After so discussing they came up with a compromise. One Griffin wasn't too thrilled with but knew was the best he was going to get at this time.

Once they reached an agreement he was sent to the simulator. Maybe he could practice giving orders to a simulation team. He wasn't expecting to find everyone standing around. He didn't know how to react. He hadn't expected to see them so soon. He hesitated until he saw Mason. "Come on demon. No one is going to attack you unless you attack them."

Astra lowers her guard, but opts to stare at Mason for a short while as she scans him and gathers data on him and updates databases to recognize Mason as a rookie agent like her. 'System Updated. Demon is now recognized as an Agent of the Bureau of Supernatural Affairs.' She then attempts to ease the Demon's fear, by offering an awkward grin that looked more like she was trying to show her front teeth to a dentist. With her still 'smiling' she greets the newest agent. "Greetings. My name is Astra, the golem sent by the Research and Development Branch. I do hope we get along well."

Richard had accepted the fact that Mason was an agent of the BOSA like him, but his body language told otherwise. Anyone with keen enough eyes or skill in reading individuals, could see that he was still uncomfortable in the presence of the demon. Maybe it was the 'divine' part of him reacting adversely to Mason's presence? It was then Griffin came into the training deck, it seemed that the Director didn't chew him up too badly. "Nice to see that you're still part of the BOSA." Richard admitted with complete sincerity, he thinks Griffin is a genuinely good person or vampire...it's just that he's kinda rough on the edges. Maybe it is something akin to a defense mechanism?

Rost and Argus

"Ah, greetings Mister Green. I'm in agreement with Mister Anselm; you such an experienced agent as yourself over a trivial matter like today's mission would be a tragedy. Rost announced cheerfully, turning his attention to the newly recruited demon, "Now, Mister Mason, I must ask; do you have any firearms training? While your inherent powers are formidable, it may be wise to carry a reserve weapon at least until you've had more time to learn to control them for yourself."

Argus rolled his eyes at the suggestion "I don't think the kid needs a gun Rost. He damned near cut a sewer tunnel in half." he explained dismissively, "Besides, I've never needed a gun in my life."

Rost clicked his tongue, waving a finger in the air, "That may be so Mister Grau, but you are also practically bullet proof, most weapons that do not kill you will only slow you down. Though I have not yet had a chance to fully document his biology, Mason is likely -physiologically at least- mostly human and vulnerable to being shot and stabbed.

The Djinn sighed, "Damnit, the nerd's got a point. What do you say newbie, you want to do things the old fashioned way or should we have somebody give you a tour of the armory?"

"Sorry I am late. I had some affairs to put into order before I was available to tend this...Group activity?'aid Amaya finally coming into the room.

Amaya had on a different outfit then the one she had meet the group in. She was wearing a simple blue t-shirt with some black cargo pants. She had simple black tennis shoes and a simple black hooded jacket on and zipped up partically. She decided on keeping her hair up on a ponytail as it now reached to the arch on her back.

"So what will be be working on since I was late." She asked seeing everyone now in this training room, there was Griff, the dDjnn, the Robot, the Demon, the Scribe and the Holy man.

@Searat @LightningMaiden@Phantomlink959@KatherinWinter Mason nodded towards astra and smiled slightly at the golem's complete 180, from needing to contact security to accepting him instantly as a part of bosa. It calmed him down slightly but he still kept an eye on the blessed one, Mason did not want to come into physical contact with him. " being shot and stabbed hurts alot so if I can keep from both that would be great." mason said thinking about the question "but on the other hand I can take a lot so, I guess whatever you think would be best." he said shrugging slightly answering rost question.

Rost and Argus

"Why don't we compromise, for the first round of the exercise we can have Mason participate without carrying a weapon, in order to determine his capacity for fighting unaided. If he is found to be lacking, then I will escort him to the armory and help him select a side arm." Rost proposed, his gaze shifting between Argus and Mason, "I should also mention that should any of you have a special request for equipment, simply ask me and I will have one of my research teams begin work on it. Be it specialized clothing, weapons, or tools; if you need it, we can most likely build it."

"Sounds reasonable enough." The Djinn agreed, looking towards Amaya, "We'll be playing capture the flag in the sim deck. Two teams, us versus some AI units. The goal isn't so much for us to win as it is for us to learn how to coordinate, figure out who works best together, and gain awareness of what the other members of the team are capable of." he explained plainly, "That's why we're not starting the exercise in combat. The first thing we need to do is take turns, one at a time, giving the others a complete rundown of our abilities." Argus informed the others; it was a simple method, but oftentimes the simplest of plans was the most effective "Alphabetical order should work; so the order will be Amaya, me, Astra, Griffin, Mason, Richard, and Rost."

Amaya listened to the conversations of the room. The demon seemed to be somewhat adapting well. A plus in her book. She listened to the Dyjnn explain the point of being in this room to work as a team. She listened to him say their names in order as she closed her eyes finding she was indeed first. "Alright. Seeing that I am first I will start off, I am a water elemental. Probably considered a half breed seeing as my mother was a humanish one and her mother before her and so forth. We carry our father element and pass his power down each generation on the female side. My body bleeds like a human and is human in every aspect. But it is also it's own water allowing me to manipulate my looks, morph my body to be what i need it as well as allow myself to change into literal water." She said lifting her hand up as it changed shape to a waterifed knife. "Water may seem weak but it is as strong as ordinary weapons..."She said allowing her hand to reform.

"By connecting myself to other water sources I can manipulate them, but only a certain amount. My emotions also affect my control and my appereance...so keeping myself in check is best to allow me to remain stable and in a good state. I also bare memories of my father element and those who bore him before me."She added giving a basic understanding of who she was.

Argus nodded along with Amaya's explanation, comitting it to memory, "Okay, my turn then." he announced, "To start with, I can produce fire by expending part of the energy keeping me alive, drawing from my inner flame. I can manipulate that fire pretty freely, but don't really have control over other flames. I'm able to shapeshift by changing between my human and Djinn forms at will, in whole or in part." he explained, eyes skimming the team to gauge their reactions, "When in my Djinn form I can enter a person's mind while making physical contact and mess around with their memories. The older and more ingrained the memory, the harder it is to do anything to it. Lastly, my Djinn form has a few sensory advantages over human; I can detect distances and directions based on the smell in the air, and identify pretty much any supernatural being I've encountered before in the same way. Y'all smell pretty specific. I'm also quite a bit stronger in that form, though I lose agility so in a fight I prefer to just transform my hands or arms in order to use my claws for close quarters combat." It was a quick explanation, but covered everything the others might need to know, "And before anybody asks, I don't sleep in a lamp or grant wishes. The lamp thing got started because some magician sealed a few of us in lamps a couple centuries back, and the wishes is all part of a coverup for our memory alteration.

Astra closes her eyes for a brief moment. No longer than a second, maybe even shorter, before she spoke to the group."According to files and my memories from the tests done by the R&D branch. I am extremely durable and strong." She looks around the room to ensure that her demonstration would not harm any of the agents nor damage BOSA property. Once decided that her demonstration would be safe, she quickly demonstrates her supernatural strength and endurance as she performed a hand stand using only three of her fingers. There were no signs of strain nor effort in her demonstration, her body did not sway nor struggle in attempt to maintain balance nor did her body show any signs that she was exerting any effort. "In this form, I weigh 90 kilograms..." She begins to push herself up and down. "...and if the researchers are correct, I can easily lift a small car and, with full effort, could lift a large van of sorts." With a quick motion, she lowers herself and returns to a standing position. "The next thing I would like to show is my combat form." She transforms into the aforementioned form, turning from her almost indistinguishable human body to her true golem form.

Astra's physical appearance did change, but her voice still never changed in pitch, timber, nor tone. "This is my combat form. I am made from a mineral similar to stone but far more durable and with the capability of absorbing and utilizing mana. I am more than capable in hand to hand combat, as the researchers thought it would be useful for me to know a number of fighting styles." She pauses to point at her chest. "This is the mana core embedded in my chest. It is the most important part of my being. It contains everything from my basic protocols for movement and primary programs to advanced processes like the memory and personality module." She uses the large stony limb to tap at her core. "If my core were to be forcefully removed, I would 'die' and go into a stasis mode to conserve mana. If it were to be destroyed, every semblance of what I am would be erased and Astra would no longer be."

"I am a vampire. I can drink blood, hypnotize although it doesn't always work especially from a distance." Griffin began. Honestly he thought they should all know this. Ok so maybe all supernaturals didn't know that much about other species. "I am one of the stronger of my kind. I am stronger than a human. I think it's four or five times. Honestly I don't know or care." He didn't like having the focus on him. "I can fly a short distance but I do not turn into a bat. I can control weak minds but I prefer not to. I can move faster than a human. Maybe twice as fast as an cheetah. I can read minds that aren't guarded although I rarely bother." The last thing he wanted to do was know what others were thinking of him. "I am good at persuading people to do what I want without mind control," Griffin hesitated, "usually anyway. I guess supernaturals are harder than humans. I can hack most systems. The older stuff more than the new but I am learning the new stuff. I can pick most locks. I can use most weapons but I prefer knifes."

@KatherinWinter@Searat@Phantomlink959@LightningMaiden Mason listen to the others explanations of themselves before it was his turn. "Oh, I am mason. I am a shadow demon.. I um can transform three times in tune with the time of day." mason said feeling awkward having to describe himself and not being able to find the best words "The first is this I am faster and stronger than a average person in this form, about two times I think. I still have class which is one reason I wear this cloak" he said holding his arms out showing the black clawed hands. "they are actually very dull dispite there look, my second form happens around dusk and my body Begins to change, becoming covered in a inky tar like substance. I also grow in size. My claws get longer and sharper and I become faster than before and stronger. I believe around five times." mason rubbed his arm "I leave a trail that I can control to a certain degree, shadow was always better at controlling it than me... My last form happens at midnight, I grow again and the inky tar like substance on me is no longer liquid and my speed and strength increase again, I grow spikes across my body that can be detached and fired." mason closed his eyes for a second trying to remember if there was anything else before adding "and enough holy light and uv Ray's can revert me back to this form for a few seconds and try to keep holy water away... It burns.."

"I'm Richard Anselm. I am what Argus calls a 'god-touched'. That means..." Richard pauses slightly to raise his index finger and summons a small orb of pure light around the size of a finger segment. "I am more than able to harness holy magics and miracles." The small orb of light rests on his finger before being absorbed into his body. "I also have a minor form of regeneration. Hence my appearance despite being alive for over seventy years. I also served in the military as a medic and combat medic in different conflicts. So it is safe to assume that I work well in a team, am well versed in using most firearms, and know how to fight; both with a weapon and without one." He purses his lips while thinking of other things to tell the other agents. "Ah. I am also a skilled medic. That combined with my ability to heal, means that I can slam death's door shut in seconds."

"My turn then, I suppose." Rost coughed to clear his throat before reaching inside his jacket and retrieving his sidearm, the pistol had a number of ornate symbols etched into the frame and grip,
"I am, for lack of a better term, an enchanter. I have mastered an art called scrivening, the weaving of magic into spells through the use of symbols and incantations rather than complicated gestures and direct manipulation of mana."
he explained, tilting his weapon in hand and allowing a slight shimmer to be seen on the surface. "It's not terribly flashy, and is time consuming enough to not be directly useful in combat; but it is powerful nonetheless. I created the magic sealing handcuffs issued to every agent, lead the development of our containment cells, and aided in many other such projects including teaching others the craft. I'm also a fully trained and accredited archeologist and have substantial knowledge in a number of arcane fields." The scribe returned his pistol to its holster underneath his jacket,
"And of course I have completed all qualifying tests to become a field agent; I'm not a bad shot if I do say so myself."

Rost and Argus

”Once more unto the breach,” Argus declared, stepping forward and pressing the start button for the simulation deck. The metal door slid open with a hiss to reveal the staging area; a plain white-walled room with a few chairs and a map of the arena displayed on a large screen; on the wall opposite the map were seven lockers, each bearing the name of one of the agents present, ”Rost, please tell me this isn’t what I think it is.

map

Rost shrugged, ”It seemed appropriate, given the friendly nature of the exercise. Besides, everybody loves paintball!” he explained cheerfully, “We’ll be starting at the bus stop, with the opponent team’s base being Intake. Objective is simple, reach the enemy base, capture their flag, and return with it to the bus stop. They will be attempting to do the same whilst preventing us from capturing theirs.”

Argus rolled his eyes, giving a dismissive grunt, “Whatever.” the agent strolled over to the lockers and opened his, inside the locker was a vest, a tactical rifle, five 30 round magazines loaded with strange blue bullets, and a face mask. “Is the gear really necessary? We do have our powers.”

“You’re free not to use them if you prefer, but not all of us agents have the same natural affinity for combat. Richard and I in particular, despite our abilities, are ultimately human; and must rely upon manufactured weapons, which many of you supernaturals do not require.” Rost approached his locker, retrieving the vest and rifle, “You do need to wear the vets though, they have the hit detection and life counter that the simulation will use to determine if you’ve been eliminated by the enemy. Five hits and you’re done” he explained, donning his own vest.

”Fair point. Alright guys and girls, suit up.” Argus ordered, walking over to examine the map, “Okay. Astra, Rost, you’re our last line of defense. Stay at the base, prevent the enemy team from taking the flag at all costs. Griffin, you circle north past Death Row, try and slip into their base and get the flag unnoticed. Mason and Amaya go straight down the middle. If the showers are running, hold the line there; Amaya, use your powers to freeze over the passages and create a choke point through the center. Richard, stick with me; we’ll be heading down the south side making as much noise as possible, try to draw them towards us so Griffin can get into the base. If any of you see an enemy, engage with intent to kill. I don’t know how smart these drones are, but there’s a chance they might catch on to our plan and try to counter it.” he scanned the faces of his teammates, “Any questions?”

Astra stares at the screen for a second or two as she memorizes it for later tactical use. "Understood head researcher." Astra then heads to a locker and wears the vest contained inside. It looked similar to a tactical vest used by human and humanoid field agents when their assignments prove to be too difficult or dangerous. Though there was a number of minor differences, one most notable being a thin antennae sticking out of what looks like a small power supply on the back. One would assume that this was the device that would be powering the whole hit detection system and relay that to the simulator's AI. It was then Argus gave orders to stay at the base with Rost and deter any drones from obtaining their flag. "Directives updated. Will defend the flag at all costs."

Richard smirked at the thought of a paintball game. "I can't deny that I do like paintball." he says offhandedly while opening his respective locker. He takes a look at the rifle stowed within, it wasn't like the rifles he ever used before but Richard was sure he could easily learn how to use it. Once geared up, he heard Argus bark out commands to the other agents. It seemed that he was going to be part of the distraction team to keep the heat off Griffin. With a firm nod, he assures that he was ready for the simulation.

Griffin was not happy. He glared at the map he had been given. Of all the places they could have had this waste of time take place Rost had chosen a prison. If he didn't know better he would have thought that the other man was trying to piss him off. But there was no way for the Djinn could know. He ignored the protective gear. He didn't need it. Nothing in the simulation could him. "As long as we don't need any of the gear to keep track of hits snd other shit I'll take one of paintball guns."

He studied the map. He wasn't thrilled with the virtual map. Luckily he had a good memory he would be able to memorise the map. The layout that Rost had chosen was pretty straightforward. It was a basic prison. He was sure he could complete his assigned task without any challenges. It wasn't really a challenge. Of course this wasn't a test of skills. It was a way of helping them work together.

Mason walked over to his locker and opened it up. Forgoing the gear he grabbed one of the paintball guns and said "Um, I have never used a paint ball gun. Can I get a crash course before I go get shot.". Mason also saw what he thought was ammo so he grabbed it before shutting the locker.

Amaya stayed were she was listening for a few seconds before following suit to the lockers. She opened one pulling out the armor finding that she probably wouldn't be needing the paintball guns as she was going to focus on keeping their front line strong.

She adjusted the vest, making sure it fit before her hair moved and changed to a tight bun. She Sighed not liking the weight but wasn't going to argue. she told herself she was going to give this whole thing a true shot so that was what she needed to do.

She moved to the open simulated space moving towards the middle before she stretched cracking her knuckles, neck etc. making sure she was going all out without holding back...Much.
