I still gotta get in contact with Andy to see if he wants to do this crossover still. Facebook seems to be more reliable than Discord to discuss things. But as for this event thing? I don't think my opinion has much weight as I've not been one of the major shakers of the game since maybe the first few weeks after launch. I think abstaining would be the right thing to do. You guys do you and I'll try to keep up.

The game turns into the one Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror where Homer constantly tries to fix the timeline, only with Morden’s F4 going to different earths and watching them all end horribly

You figured out the other piece of my long-term plan so soon, eh?

Next season was gonna feature an Earth where Batman is a 17 year old trust fund super-genius who's really short in stature and constantly gets wailed on by his rogues.

I'm not sure I'd be able to swing MME for the end of this season. I've got two more villains to go through after my current arc with SImple, and then a season ender with Simple again. I could maybe make it work? It could be interesting to just have the MME at the start of S2.

With Andy pretty swamped this season, I'm going to have a think of what I should do with Bekka. I've got most of a post written but I have nothing really in mind to lead it into. Sometimes I think I'm just objectively bad at headline characters rather than supporting/legacy characters. Just in a spot where I know I need to post but I'm not sure where to take things or how to handle them.

I'm pretty bad at these games, huh?

The biggest issue I see with starting an IC with an MME is that it does open up the dreaded 'Robinson Park' scenario. Especially since we'll likely have an influx of new players to expand the roster or replace some of those we've lost along the way. An easy way to establish oneself is to contribute to an MME and a lot of roleplayers do desire interaction over the more sandbox approach.

For that reason, an MME as a kickoff in the IC could lead to overcrowding which would bottleneck progress potentially.

Or it could go really well and start things in a really exciting manner.

I think though if we were to have an MME at the start of the next IC, I'd prefer it about 50 posts in or so.

I don't think Civil War or the SHRA/Accords is really an appropriate story avenue for a game where most of the heroes haven't even met eachother.

Besides. Batman would kick all of your asses.

I mean sure, he can barely handle one mind-controlled superhuman like Jessica Jones and has gotten his ass handed to him by Deadshot at least once, but c'mon. He'd adapt.

Starting a 'new game' with such an event could lead to too many contributing players whereas having it around fifty posts would provide adequate time for people to find a groove or hash something out IC before simply jumping in what's provided or convenient.

I mean in a Justice League (ala the Pilot Episode) scenario it works fine enough. But I suppose it all depends on the group and the plot specifics.

True. At this point it would probably be best to not throw in the wrench just yet. I have no preference as I haven't gotten very far in any of my plot progression - but I do know some people still have a lot more they'd like to go with something before "shit happens".
