Seeing that the demon had no prior experience using a gun before, Richard reluctantly moved closer to Mason. He was not used to teaching someone but he will do his best and try his best to instruct him what he needs to know about weapon handling. He displays his own paintball rifle before the shadow demon and begins with the basics. He points out where the safety of the rifle was located as well as the mechanism that changes the mode of fire. Then explaining that the safety prevents misfires and the gun cannot be shot while it is on. He then explains the purpose of the selector lever as well as the pros and cons of semi automatic firing and full auto fire, admitting that he prefers the burst fire mode. Finally demonstrating to him how a rifle is held and how to reload the gun, both with and without a bullet present in the chamber. "...and that's it. I pretty much covered the basics in weapon handling."

Argus

Argus adjusted his own vest one last time before glancing over at Mason and Richard. The djinn wore a look of mild annoyance, walking over to the pair and grabbing the vest from Mason's locker and holding it out towards the demon, "Vest isn't optional newbie. It's got the hit tracking gear." he explained bluntly, heading towards the simulation entrance, "Join me as soon as you're ready Richard. Simulation should start automatically about ten seconds after we're all inside." with that he followed Amaya out the door, flames crawling up the agent's arms and burning away the human shell to reveal his true, reptilian claws.

Rost

"Argus is correct, my friends. I'm afraid the vest is the only required piece of kit I had the simulation supply, though in the future I will take account of individual preferences and provide alternative tracking methods for those who prefer not to wear one." Rost hooked his own paint rifle to a sling point on his vest before closing the locker and following the other agents out the door, "Most importantly, let's all try to enjoy ourselves, shall we?"

"Understood Argus." Richard then left Mason to equip his own protective vest. It was rather cumbersome but Richard had to admit that the ammo pouches were exceedingly convenient. Placing 6 spare magazines on his vest, he follows the dijin and the water elemental and heads into the simulation room proper. While waiting for the rest of his teammates, he does his best to get more familiar with the paint rifle. Practicing how to replace magazines, reliably un-jam the weapon if there were a situation that demanded it, and got used to its weight in his hands.

The golem seemed intrigued by the device contained within the vests but was soon reminded that the group was getting ready to start the training session. She dons the vest and fills the pouches with spare magazines as she took the paint rifle and retrieved information regarding weapon handling and such. A brief few seconds past and she too arrives the simulation room. It had yet to start, so Astra took advantage of the situation and prepped her system for combat.

Mason followed along with Richards overview with the basics of the rifle before taking the vest from Argus nodding before slipping the vest on. After loading his rifle and putting the clips in the pockets on it. After making double checks that he has everything and taking another look at the map and meet everyone else in the following room.

THE NEXT DAY
Three cases came in the next morning. The director debated how to handle them. The team hadn't gone the way he wanted. He needed them to work as a unit but it looked like he was going to have to work up to it. He just had to hope they had the time. He didn't know how long to work the kinks. Too long was his thought but it was out of his hands. He sent a text calling the agents to his office to try getting them to work together in pairs.

Argus

Argus stared at the ceiling in his office/bedroom at BOSA HQ. He had spent a sleepless night mulling over the previous day's events. A field mission that could barely classify as a success, a meeting that was definitely not, and a training excercise which could have gone far worse than it had.

When the text from the Director arrived, the Djinn rolled out of bed and retrieved his phone from the charger on his desk, "Time to get yelled at by the boss again." he sighed, glancing down at his clothes. His shirt and pants were wrinkled after the training match and his jacket had acquired several bright red splotches from being hit by training rounds. With a grunt and a yawn, a ripple of cold fire traveled up hiss body, repairing and replacing the outfit. One perk of being a shapeshifter; never have to do laundry. Argus retrieved a few necessities from the locker in the corner of the room and headed towards the director's office.

Rost

Few men possess Rost's capacity for getting a proper night's rest. During his time as a student he had gained a reputation for falling asleep wherever he happened to be when his eyes grew heavy; rarely needing an additional transfusion of caffeine to get himself going the next day. As such, when the text message arrived, he awoke laid out awkwardly in a chair in the Agency's library. Not terribly surprised or disgruntled from the rude awakening or his unusual resting spot, the agent slid a bookmark into the tome resting on his chest and checked the message.

"Wonder what he's up to now?" the researcher pondered as he straightened out his uniform. He had showered after the training game the night before, but the stubble which had appeared since he shave the previous morning would be a less easily remedied situation. Rost, though decently skilled at planning ahead, did not generally keep a shaving kit at the office. Resigning himself to a short period of not being as neatly groomed as he preferred, the agent locked his grimoir in a magically sealed safe at the back of the library and departed from his lair to meet up with the director.

Richard let out a soundless yawn as he awoke from his night of sleep. It was still rather dark inside of his dorm room. Unsure that he got any substantial rest, he casts a quick glance to his digital alarm clock atop his bedside table. "5:30am...Hmm, four and a half hours is good enough." He gets up and off his bed before wincing slightly at the sore feeling where he got shot twice by the drones the previous day. Fake bullets or no, the force was no joke. Though considering that the formerly severe welts were now only discolored barely noticeable bruises, he was glad to have regenerative abilities. Donning a spare set of bureau issued sweatshirt and jogging pants he leaves his dorm room and opts to go jog a few laps around the bureau. It was not until the sun rose that he received a text message regarding his next mission. He returns to his dorm and gets prepared to clean himself up before he meets with the director. Within a ten minutes of entering his room, he was ready to be assigned to a new mission and his partner for that mission.

Agent Astra laid atop of a metallic table surrounded by numerous computers and other devices that kept track of her systems as well as keeping her in this standby state. Though the most prominent of devices would be the magitech computer hooked up to the table she laid on. A bureau scientist then enters the room and begins to type in commands into the magitech computer to initialize the golem agent.

System Notification

She opens her eyes and is greeted by the scientist moving over to her and asking her to sit up, she does so without question. The scientist then begins disconnecting and removing a some cables and wires that were connected to her back. After removing the cables and wires, she then inspects the golem's body for any damage done by the simulation rounds, it was highly unlikely that they would have done damage to her durable and resilient body, though it was better to be sure about it. She was without a doubt the first one to be 'out' of the game. Though admittedly she was forced to stay in her human form due to the vest not fitting her true golem form, she was still not designed to be very agile. It was unfortunate for her to be eliminated so quickly, but such is the nature of a golem with a main focus on defense and durability. The scientist's attention shifted to her phone alerting her of a new text message, she read the message and informed Astra that the director was calling for them and issuing new assignments to them. Not waiting another second, Astra would soon get up from her 'bed' and begin walking to the directors office. The scientist hastily chasing after her with the golem's clothes pleading her to stop and put some clothes on first.

Mason woke up in the training area thinking it the safest place for him to stay with his transformations he slept there the night before. Bright red paint still splattered on his black claws were he got hit. Mason yawned not use to being able to get a full night sleep without having to worry about getting found. Although he would have to find the holy man to clean the the black substance off the floor of the training room. Having not been issued a phone yet he had no idea he was called to a meeting to discuss missions, because of this he decided to explore the facility further. Eventually he ran into Rost leaving the library, having yet to thank him for attempting to contain shadow he stopped Rost saying "Oh, um Rost I forgot to thank you for yesterday with the you know sealing shadow partially."@Phantomlink959

Rost paused when he spotted Mason in the hallway, "Of course, he hasn't been issued his agency phone. I should make sure the new recruit gets to that meeting." he remembered, only to be stopped by the demon, "Ah, young mason. Good morning." the scribe greeted cheerfully, offering Mason a hand, "Think nothing of it, I was merely doing my duty. As I explained yesterday, the powers I use were intended to help those who cannot help themselves. My work for the agency, such as sealing that rather nasty other half of yours, are an extension of that task." he gave Mason a quick once-over, "Speaking of which, you are still carrying that book I gave you, correct? It is absolutely vital that you continue to carry it with you until I can finalize the binding. I'll need the information it transcribes to perfect the spell." he waited a few moments for Mason to respond before continuing, "Oh, and we've been summoned to a meeting by the director. If you follow me, I can show you the way."

Griffin spent the night hunting. He had to be careful how much he took from each person. It wasn't easy. His instincts insisted in death but he didn't want to kill anyone. He hated hurting people. But vampires had moved past them. Well most of them. There were some who still wanted the old days. He felt much better once he had blood but it didn't solve his inability to deal with the others. He had gone from having a chance at being a leader to barely being part of the organization.

He got a message from the director saying that he and his partner had a case. He was hesitant. He wasn't sure that he could work with the golem. He felt he needed someone who was better at emotions than he was but he had little choice and he could be wrong. Things hadn't gone well with the others. He headed to the agency.

The others had gathered by the time he arrived. He wasn't sure whether not it was bad that he was the last to arrive. He felt awkward. He didn't want to attract their attention nor did he want to hang back like he was afraid. Finally he approached the group but said nothing.

@Phantomlink959 "Yes, I do. I left it in the training room since I'm staying in there." mason said nodding. "H-hey, a#@-whipe-e I'm still here" shadow said it only faintly being heard. Mason eyes went wide and he looked around trying to see if shadow was actually here.

"We'll be passing on the way to the director's office, so you can retrieve it. It is CRITICAL that you keep it on your person at all times." Rost reprimanded the young demon gently, ignoring his shadow's faint voice. "Before you go on any missions, I'd like to take you aside for a few minutes to make some adjustments to the seal using what data it has acquired thus far. That's enough chatter for now though, the director awaits; and he is not the most patient man in the world." As soon as they had retrieved the logbook, Rost would take Mason straight to the office for the meeting without delay.
Argus

Not needing to eat, shower, or perform any of the other morning rituals common to the more static races; Argus was first to arrive at the director's office, sipping from what seemed to be a juice box but absolutely reeked of undiluted ethanol."Morning chief, sleep well? the djinn asked casually as he waited for the other agents.

"We should get upstairs" Griffin suggested. He felt awkward making the suggestion. He wasn't a leader. He had proven that but they couldn't wait here waiting for someone else to take the lead. The last think he needed was for the director to get pissed at him. He made his way passed the others towards the elevator. He was tempted to take the stairs but with the others behind him he couldn't doing so would look weak. He couldn't look weak.

Amaya sighed finishing changing into her uniform finding hers remained dry but adapted to her various forms. She reached her bed side grabbing her phone "Time to get to this meeting I guess." She said to herself putting the phone in her pocket before heading out of her room. It took a few mintues before she found the right direction soon stopping infront of Rost and Mason " I am here, sorry for being late..I will ensure it will not happen again."Spoke Amaya to the both of them bowing quickly using a old courtesy she read from the mass library in her old home.

"You'll learn quickly that being on schedule is a vital part of working for this agency, Miss Amaya. Rost said plainly as the elemental girl joined himself, Mason, and the others at the elevator. The scribe shifted his attention to Griffin, noting the Vampire's haste, "Mister Green is well aware of that, it would seem." without hesitation, the scribe followed the elder agent into the elevator as soon as it arrived, "Come along now you everyone, time waits for no man." he encouraged, checking his watch, "Sadly, it seems breakfast must."

The professor paused for a moment before casually reached into his jacket pocket, withdrawing a granola bar from some concealed pocket. "Unless, of course, one has been teaching at university for some years and learned to always be prepared for such an event." with that, he unwrapped his snack and began to eat as he waited for the others to board and the elevator to depart.

Richard walked through the scarcely populated hallways of the main building of the bureau. Upon reaching his last turn in the corridor he was met by the rest by the other agents. He could have arrived earlier than most but the vending machine in the dorms was not the least bit cooperative, taking an excess of fifteen minutes just to get a couple bars of granola. "Good morning." He greets everyone with his usual friendly tone, even the shadow demon, before finishing his first bar of cereal and entering the elevator.

The golem woman was significantly delayed by the efforts of her handler. She insisted that the director was not someone to be left waiting, but she insisted fervently that being clothed was Astra's utmost priority before meeting with the team and the director. Astra sometimes found humans strange. None the less she arrives to the team and offers them her own brand of smile and greeting them with her usual monotone voice. Giving the elevator a quick once over, she quickly determines that the elevator was specialized to carry individuals heavier than the average human. Stepping in, the lack of the alarm affirmed her findings to be true.

"I am sorry I will make sure that I remain on time for now on."She Replied to Rost in a simple soft tone following after them into the Elevator watching Mason and Rose before watching Griffin. She turned her head to see serat and the golem move inside with them as well. She moved closer to Mason to make room for them in the elevator. Honestly she didn't like enclosed spaces, She never understood why but tiny rooms and spaces scared her dearly. Maybe it was a natural restrain a lot hold over water. She shakes her head pushing the thoughts back while she closed her eyes listening to everyone wish everyone else good morning. She wasn't a morning person so no it wasn't a good morning.

Mason was quick to follow Rost into the elevator, he nodded to Richard to say good morning without actually saying it. He didn't want to find out what accidently touching Richard might do so he tried to stay as far away as he could. Noticing Amaya scoot closer to him to make room Mason also tried to move aside to make room.

In the director's office the director sat behind a large mahogany desk. He had three files on his desk. He hoped that pairs would work better than the group had. Maybe they just needed time to get adjusted to working together. "We are going to try having you work in pairs. Richard and Argus I want you to take this case." He handed Argus the folder. "You will be handling zombies in the city cemetery. There shouldn't be too many witness for you to worry about" Then he headed over to Astra and handed her the folder. "You will be partnered with Griffin. We have had reports of a possible shapeshifter in the business district. Find him make sure he is registered and aware of the rules. Last" He headed over to Rost. "You will be going with Mason and Amaya until we are sure that your wards will hold the shadow demon and Mason has control. You three are handling a missing child case. We think a witch might be involved."

Richard finished the second part of his 'breakfast' just before they arrived in the director's office. Tossing away the plastic wrappers to a nearby trash bin, he then attempts to wipe away any crumbs from his mouth and facial hair. Upon entering the office room, the director went straight to the point and began assigning the new cases to them. He gives the director a firm salute and takes the file from the desk. He would have greeted the director, but he was a no nonsense kind of person, such trivial things like greetings would only prolong what is necessary to be spoken. "Guess we're partners for this mission, Argus." He pauses slightly to look over the case file. "You think we're dealing with a necromancer? Or you think its more of a mana surge or, God forbid, a bio-hazard type of thing?" He asks his partner while handing him the case file, in case he wanted to look at further details.

@KatherinWinter
"Understood director. Agent Green and I will do our fullest to locate and, if needed, apprehend the shape shifter." She sees Richard salute the director and mimics the gesture accompanied with her 'smile'. Lowering her arm, but keeping the smile, she looks over to Griffin. "What manner of approach would you suggest in our investigation, Griffin?" The golem had programs and scrying spells but if the vampire agent had any approach he would prefer, she could adjust her method of investigation.
