The year is 1941, France. The bombings of the United Kingdom have ended, but the Resistance fights on - the Vichy government cannot be allowed to repress France's people, and the Wehrmacht shall not blunt their spirits! Only, it seems as of late that the Wehrmacht has been a much more effective blunting tool than usual. People speak of German soldiers with dead eyes, who seem nearly immune to bullets, possess incredible strength and speed - some even claim they've seen these warriors twisting the world to their whims, one way or another.

Naturally, of course, such bold claims need to be investigated, before they get out of hand. To that end, agents from each of the Allied nations shall sally forth - members of the United Kingdom's Special Operations Executive, the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs of Russia, and courtesy of the United States government, a foundation whose namesake and origin is none other than the English oil baron and philanthropist Robert E.O. Speedwagon. Of course, the Boche's grip on France is strong, and it'll be hard to insert more than a few people at once without drawing suspicion, but it is near-certain that elements of the French resistance groups will be able and willing to support these agents as they go about their work too.

In the end, a team of such esteemed individuals should have the skills and abilities necessary to handle themselves and put a stop to these claims conclusively... right?

Before we begin, please note that we have a Discord server for chat about the story, Stands, and other such details, located right here for your viewing pleasure. It's also recommended that you actually read the rules, which are displayed below.

Game Rules

Please follow the rules of the website - most notably, don’t be a jerk, and be sure to write to the expected standards of a High Casual game.
Please try to post within a reasonable timeframe. Beyond the initial posting frequency, once every week is more than sufficient, but I can’t help you if you’re consistently days behind everyone else. If, of course, you have a good reason to be delayed, do tell me before we choose to move on, and we’ll take that into account.
Please write down who you think the best JoJo is in the Other section of the character sheet.
Please be aware that the nature of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure means that character death is an inherent risk throughout the RP. We will not hold back when it comes to NPC action, nor will we avoid killing player characters off if it is a logical outcome. Not every fight will result in death, but any fight can result in death, especially if you aren’t smart about defeating your opponents.
Equally, the nature of Stand battles tends to skew in favour of larger groups. Thus, it may well be that not every player character will be directly involved in every Stand battle, depending on when and why the party splits at any given time. That said, we'll try our best to keep everybody involved as best we can.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is one of the most off-the-wall settings in existence without going into the realm of nonsense, and in that regard, the Rule of Cool is in full effect - feel free to utilise even very specific facts about the world to bolster the logic behind your moves and attacks, and note that even the most ridiculous plans might succeed if they’re presented dramatically enough.
Also note that you are, at any time, free to DM secret actions to any of the GMs, in case you want to pull off a JoJo-esque stunt such as "Ha! You thought you were drinking my blood, but I replaced my blood with gasoline!"

The Sheets

Name: The character’s name, typically derived from one or more famous singers, bands, or other sources of significance. As a rule, I don’t intend to allow players to derive their character from significant bloodlines in canon; if you’re that desperate to show off a Joestar or Zeppeli or what have you, DM us GMs so that we can discuss it with you.

Gender: The character’s birth sex. Sexuality and self-perceived gender are separate matters; discuss these in the Other section or in-story if you so wish.

Age: The character’s lifespan so far. Simple enough.

Stand: The name of the character’s Stand, if they have one. Be aware that you don’t need to give your character a Stand at all, though they will be aware of the existence of the supernatural either way, and will have the potential to develop a Stand later on nonetheless - write down “N/A” if this is the case. Despite the disadvantages stacked against them, it is entirely possible for a perfectly normal human to defeat most Stand users with the right mix of technical skill and planning ahead.

Appearance: Describe the character’s physical appearance, including their height and build and their clothing, which should of course be suitably fabulous. Note that the timeframe of the game will affect one's style, and that we're trying to stick with most Allied nations for origin, though we can make exceptions if need be; Stand powers don’t discriminate by race, after all.

Skills: Mundane physical and mental skills your character possesses, like knitting, jogging, boxing, speed-reading, cooking, or observation. This section also covers supernatural powers they possess that are not Stands, which don’t specifically have to be derived from what is known to be canonical; to wit, this game is set shortly after part 2, so major canonical abilities will be the Ripple and vampirism, though preferably not the latter. For anything else, discuss it with the GMs in DMs if you want to include them.

Equipment: Important items your character carries around and makes use of. Guns, lockpicks, binoculars, and other such practical items can be mentioned here; keepsakes or other personal items should be mentioned in Appearance, or in Other if they are not immediately visible.

History: Write down the character’s backstory here, including significant past events. A minimum of two or three decently-sized paragraphs would be appreciated; otherwise, feel free to be as brief or as detailed with it as you like.

Other: Anything else that may optionally be worth noting about the character, including what their name references.

Stand Name: The Stand’s name, typically derived from a famous band, album, or song, which frequently also has a significant relation to the user’s personality and/or history through the name or lyrics happening to describe them, rather than as a direct part of their life experiences; feel free to encase the name in 「hook brackets」 or not at your leisure.

Stand Parameters: The Stand’s stat layout, ranked from A to E. A is the highest rank, and often represents vastly superior abilities in that area; B represents a good, but not outstanding ability; C is roughly comparable to human ability; D and E are weak, often representing ability below human average, E moreso than D; and on the rare occasions that a Stand has no capacity for a parameter whatsoever, a Null value can be applied. Please do not ask about S, None, or Infinite values; these are not applicable to the creation process for players. Other than this, a reasonably balanced layout would be preferable; explanations for the Stand’s parameter layout are optional, but ultimately, the layout should make sense for the Stand's abilities and potential. Feel free to talk it over with the GMs if you're unsure!
Destructive Power: Represents a Stand’s potential to deal damage and cause destruction, either through their direct strength or their ability. Note that a low-Power Stand is not necessarily ineffective in a battle, merely unlikely to cause large amounts of physical harm to a target or to the user’s surroundings on its own.
Speed: Represents how fast a Stand can move and react, and occasionally how quickly their ability takes effect. A low-Speed Stand may not literally have less speed that the average human, but will nonetheless have difficulty in acting quickly somehow, such as changing its physical momentum or accounting for a change in situation.
Range: Represents a combination of the range of a Stand’s manifestation area, ability influence, and spatial mobility. Typically, but not always, inversely proportional to Power - generally speaking, a low-Range Stand might only act within as little as a couple of meters of the user before losing power exponentially, whilst a high-Range Stand might be able to function hundreds or even thousands of meters away from the user without any loss in effectiveness at all.
Persistence: Represents how long a Stand can actively maintain its ability for. Alternatively, it can reference how much time is needed before its ability can be activated again. It is worth noting that Persistence is not directly correlated with durability, though it is not uncommon for highly-persistent Stands to be very difficult to physically damage if their ability fits the bill.
Precision: Represents a Stand’s physical accuracy and focus, as well as how effective their abilities are against specific targets rather than groups. A low-Precision Stand may or may not be good at targeting crowds, but will likely lack the ability to strike a particular point or utilise its ability on the same target repeatedly nonetheless, and it will have trouble with agility too if its Speed or Range are also low.
Developmental Potential: Represents a Stand’s ability to improve its current parameters and abilities, as well as its potential to develop new abilities with practice. Generally speaking, this has some connection to the user’s own mentality to a greater extent than other parameters: low-Learning Stands have either discovered most or all of their potential via the user’s own experience and training, or simply couldn’t make much or any extra progress to begin with, often but not always as a result of how the user’s psyche functions.

Stand Description: Describe the Stand’s appearance and personality (if any) here, including any physical quirks it might have, and how much independence and self awareness it has. Most Stands lack their own personality, being adept representations of the user’s psyche already, but some situations can lead a Stand to be more of an individual than usual; if you’re unsure, feel free to ask us about it.

Power Description: Describe the ability (or abilities) of the Stand as completely as possible, including an example of how its power may function against its intended targets and its weaknesses. Bear in mind that whilst exceptionally powerful abilities will be vetoed outright, most battles in JJBA are decided based on who is the more creative fighter, and thus we are more likely to allow powers with many creative uses. You may also name the ability itself if you so choose, with or without 「hook brackets」 encasing it.

Name: Axel Rose

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Stand: Axel does not have a stand. He does, though, possess Hamon/Ripple.

Appearance: Axel is almost always seen with his signature white fedora. This is a stark contrast to his mostly black clothing. He wears a dark grey button up shirt with black suspenders holding up his dress pants. A black, unbuttoned tailcoat resides on the outside of his torso. It is also worth mentioning that most of his outfit is embroidered with gold buttons. His pants are held up with two leather belts with gold buckles, and his hands protected by black fingerless gloves. As for accessories, he often wears a necklace with a golden anchor on it.

Skills: Being the epitome of a warrior, Axel excels in hand to hand combat, agility, and tactics. Though he does have his share of downtime activities. He loves to play board games and crochet. And smoke, he loves his cigars. Being a Hamon user, he also has many skills revolving around this ability. He can dislocate his shoulder and other joints for extended reach, speed up stem cell healing by jolting someone with Hamon energy, and infuse Hamon into everyday objects to turn into weapons. Though his main use of Hamon is not bubbles, its hardening his fists to make a rock-like surface.

Equipment:

History: Being raised by renowned Hamon user Michael Michael, Axel was basically destined to be a warrior. At a young age, the now young Axel was trained like a spartan; Beaten, bruised, and disciplined at every turn. This broke down Axel, but he was rebuilt in the ashes. 

After his inauguration as an official Hamon user, Axel traveled the world, doing good and turning wrong into right, just like he was trained to do. It was 1937 once he learned that his master was killed by a drunk nazi while visiting Germany.

On that day, Axel swore a vendetta against the Nazi that killed his father figure. Though he was only just inaugurated as a Hamon user, he would constantly seek fights to test his limits. After a year or two adventuring, he found himself in France, under German Occupation. This was the time, he thought, that he could finally spring into action his revenge plan, overthrow the German Occupation. If they took something precious from him, he will take something precious from them.

Other: For those of you who don’t know, Axl rose is the main siner for Guns n Roses. I just added an E to appease my grammar side. Also, Joseph is best Joestar.

Name: Chloe Bridgette Cakebread-Yonaka, Yonaka Cakebread, Chloe, Bridgette, Yonaka, Cakebread, she's fine with any of these. Or come up with your own damn combination for all she cares. 

Gender: Female

Age: 22

Stand: Puttin' on the Ritz, or Ritz for short

Appearance: Chloe is five feet, nine inches tall, with long, black hair that's always tied up into a ponytail that drifts down between her shoulder blades. She's got a wiry, muscular build, her frame is defined and confident. Her features are half white and asian, with a soft button nose and wide, almond like green eyes that are full of life. Starting at her left thigh and travelling up to above her waist is a tattoo of a cherry blossom tree. As for fashion, Chloe likes to keep things street. A white crop top that shows off her killer abs underneath a high quality, long-sleeved, black leather jacket that is full of pockets. She wears light blue skinny jeans that are stylishly tattered, and ride dangerously low on her hips. They are safely secured with a black leather belt. The jeans vanish into black leather boots that come up to just below her knees. She has a minimalist UNion Jack tattooed in between her shoulder blades aswell.

Skills: Chloe is excellent at playing the violin and piano, aswell as dancing of all kinds. She's also somewhat skilled at composing her own music and singing. Beyond that, she's an amateur artist and sometimes likes to whittle. First aid is something she has passing knowledge of aswell.

Equipment: Chloe prefers a classic british submachine gun, the Sten gun. Three extra magazines are tucked into her jacket. Placed firmly in the back of the waistband of her pants is a revolver. Extra cartidges are stored in the front right breast pocket of her jacket, and in her front left breast pocket is a packet of cigarettes. 

History: Chloe was born to a stubborn english mother and a kindly japanese father. Together they made quite the duo. Both of them served in the first world war, Bridgette Cakebread as a nurse for the British, and Kiyoshi Yonaka as a infantry man for the Japanese army. After the Great War Kiyoshi moved to London and met his future wife playing the piano at a pub. Only drunk could Kiyoshi summon the courage to talk to the pretty girl. He would go onto regret this decision, and then even later on regret his regret. They played music together in a band. They vowed to one day scrap together enough money to travel the world. This dream took longer than they expected, and eventually they settled down and had a kid, later than most people. That kid was Chloe Bridgette Cakebread-Yonaka. 

	Both Bridgette and Kiyoshi wanted their kid to be talented. They pushed her to excel in her studies, they pushed her to learn an instrument, or two for good measure. They wanted their child to do better than they had. Chloe loved her parents but eventually she began to push back. Hanging out with meaner crowds, rebelling more often, travelling out of the house. She picked up smoking at a younge age, a habit she still hasn't kicked. Worried and baffled by their childs behavior, Kiyoshi and Bridgette tried to fix their relationship. However it only became more strained as Chloe felt restricted around them. They couldn't understand what she was going through. There were many, many complicated, valid, and stupid reasons for Chloe to push her parents away. One of many was the development of her stand, a power she could not comprehend. This period of her life is the one Chloe regrets the most. Chloe was 20 when her mother, the older of the two parents, developed early onset Alzheimers. Bridgette found it hard to remember things, and became forgetful. Her memory only worsened as the years went on. Chloe began to try and turn her life around. To make her parents proud, for once, and stop being such a fuckup. This was when she learned of the philanthropic Speedwagon Foundation and began to help out with their charity events. 

	World War Two began, and immediately Chloe wanted to help fight. She had been raised by her parents with a fundamentally solid moral compass and a sense of patriotism instilled by her mother who helped fight in the war. It was her chance to do something good, really good. Kiyoshi was distraught that his daughter would leave to go and fight, but he also understood Chloe's desire to make herself a better person. Kiyoshi understood what it was to be a young person trying to make the most of themselves.

	So, leaving ailing mother and father behind, Chloe signed up to be a nurse, the closest thing she could get to the front lines. On one particularly lonely night, she was using her Stand to play music to herself since only she could hear it. Her sergeant, a Stand User and member of the Speedwagon Foundation, angrily came to confront her about playing music in the middle of the night when he saw what she was doing. It wasn't long afterward that she was a loyal Speedwagon Foundation agent, and it was clear to Chloe that this was destiny. It was her fate to fight for justice alongside others like herself, not as a nurse or a traditional soldier. Still, she went through basic combat training, and later, the advanced combat training required of a Speedwagon field agent. Now she is loyal and eager to fight the good fight, travel to France and liberate the people there. 

Other: Josuke Higashikata. Yonaka is the name of a cool rock band I like.

Stand Name:「PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ」

Stand Description: Ritz is slick, sleek, and slender. It is all wood, brass, and porcelain. Mahogany and oak panels make up a majority of it's being, with brass rings, nails and studs keeping it together. Every once and a while there is a flash of Ritz's skin, which is white and as flawless as porcelain. The largest shows of skin are Ritz mouth and nose, with it's vibrant crimson lips, and it's midiff which is flat and unlined with the exception of it's navel. It's elbows and knees have wooden panels that extend outward six inches into the open air, triangular wooden halfpipes that deflect the wind. It's eyes are moslty covered but underneath it's wooden visor one will occasionally catch a glimpse of them. They are humanesque. They directly mingle with the porcelain face revealing that the porcelain skin is in fact Ritz' real skin. They have white iris' and green, pupiless eyes. Ritz wears a unique wooden helmet. It rises up above her head like a ramp that deflect the air away. Out of this hole, a brown ponytail lazily drifts. A hole at the base of the helmet emanates a constant cool breeze.

Mounted on each shoulder is a small brass gramophone horn, pointed forward. They are connected to a flat wooden box on Ritz back. This box is the base of a record player, with needle included. One the side of this box are four slits with a vinyl disc poking its edge out in each. There is one vinyl record on the player itself, ready to be played. This recorder box is built directly into Ritz' body.

Ritz wears wooden gauntlets that are studded with brass at the knuckes. Her arms are also slightly longer than they should be proportionally. It wears segmented wooden trousers ride up a few inches beneath Ritz belly button. They are connected with wiry suspenders to a slick wooden crop top that goes around the gramophones base to make room. Ritz is shiny, all of it's wood and brass are polished and reflective. 

As Ritz moves, the sound of wood on wood, brass on brass can be heard from within her. Aswell as the sound of a vinyl record currently playing no sound, the warm static of analogue music, can be heard whenever she appears or disappears. This warm static sharpens and rises into a cracking crescendo whenever Ritz moves quickly. Ritz has no obvious personality of it's own. When left to it's own devices it mimicks a habit of it's user and quietly hums to herself. Whenever it speaks, it sounds as if it's being played on a record. Crackling, spotty, analogue and homely. Other than this voice filter, it's voice is that of Chloe's. When it does talk, it's porcelain mouth does open and there is a tongue and teeth inside, though they are also made of some kind of ceramic material. 

Power Description: Ritz has the power to record and play back noises with the five vinyl records it has available to it. Her power is that whenever she plays back the records, the physical effect of the sound being played takes place in the real world in the exact same way.

For example, if Ritz used a blank record to record the sound of a grenade going off twenty feet infront of her, she can play that record back to create an idential grenade explosion twenty feet infront of wherever Ritz is standing. The front orientation of each vinyl record is marked with a red line. She can play this explosion on a loop, stopping and resetting the record without having to her her hands to do so. In order to switch out records, Ritz has to use her arms to reach around, grab, and switch out the record. Playing on the gramophone is not the only way to activate the effects of Ritz, however. The sound effect also plays when a record is broken. The sound escapes from within the record and plays it's full course. The vinyl discs are floaty and light and can be throwing like frisbee discs. Upon shattering the entire record will play once, and then the sound is lost forever. Each vinyl record has two sides. Each one can have a different effect stored. If the record is broken, both sides of the record will play at once.

Ritz recording range does have a limit. Louder sounds are more easily recorded from farther away. Still, the needle recording implement of the record is far more perceptive than actual gramophones. 

When a sound is quiet or too far away, the static inherent in a vinyl recording will appear. If Ritz records the sound of a grenade exploding 1000 feet away, the explosion itself will be spotty. Like someone cut holes in the actual explosion itself. The colors will be faded aswell. This means that people caught in this explosion will be far more likely to survive or even potentially escape unscathed.

Ritz has a limited amount of sounds available to her. Five records, ten sounds of up to 22 minutes long. However, she has an infinite amount of blank vinly records avaiable to her. These are drawn forth from a slit in either one of her forearms. These blank records have a utlity of their own. When thrown, they break, and hurt people. It's like throwing a sharp disc at someone, it kind of hurts. They also have a special effect, however, in that when directly shattering on a person that person will hear loud static in their ears for twenty two minutes. If Ritz attempts to record a new song while she already has ten stored, it will simply not work. She needs to either break a record and place a blank one under the needle or record over an old one.

This same effect is also applied on Ritz fists. A direct hit will make the person hear crackling vinyl static for 22 minutes. The sound grows in loudness and intensity the more times they are struck by Ritz, but the effect will always last no longer than 22 minutes.

Disc 1, Side A: The sound of Ritz punching for two minutes straight.  

Disc 1, Side B: The sound of Ritz punching for three minutes straight.

Disc 2, Side A: Machinegun fire from Chloe's sten gun. The bullets are created two feet directly infront of Ritz and travel horizontally. Thirty rounds, a brief two second pause, and thirty additional rounds are fired.

Disc 2, Side B: Machinegun fire in a circle. Two fully automatic weapon thirty round bursts spin around Ritz in a circle, then stop.

Disc 3, Side A: The sound of a grenade going off thirty feet infront of Ritz.

Disc 3, Side B: A smoke screen bursts forth from Ritz's feet. Several grenades go off throughout the recording and the entire twenty two minutes are used up by creating smoke. A cough can be heard every once in a while.

Disc 4, Side A: A heavy reinforced steel metal plate is slammed down infront of Ritz, and stays there for five minutes.

Disc 4, Side B: A Churchill tank appears infront of Ritz and immediately fires off a round. It drives forward, firing shells infront of it aswell as surpressing machinegun fire. It travels for 100 yards before fading into static. The entire drive forward lasts about a minute.

Disc 5, Side A: Twenty two minutes of hit singles, both formal and swing.

Disc 5, Side B: A very scratchy recording of someone playing the violin.

Other: Puttin' on the Ritz is a reference to a song written in the 1930's and it's remix by Taco in the 80's. It is a song of exhorbitant wealth, greed, and enjoying the present moment.

Name: Kiara Oscuro

Gender: Female

Age: 21

Stand: Miss Murder

Appearance: Kiara stands at roughly five and a half feet tall, with pale skin and a slim build. Her hair, shoulder length and wavy, is white with black bangs, and cut short on the right side. She has a pretty, girlish face, but her eyes are intense, betraying a spark of manic energy behind her unassuming appearance.

Skills: She’s a decent shot, and talented with a knife. She can also be quite charming, and also quite intimidating when she needs to be. She’s also a pretty good cook.

Equipment: She’s never without her weapons, a Colt 1908 pistol and a pocket knife, and ammunition. She has a particular fondness for Tommy Guns, but those aren’t nearly as easy to carry around.

History: Clara Prinz was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1920 to a pair of Jewish immigrants from Germany. Levi and Nessa Prinz ran a modestly popular restaurant where Clara often helped out by waiting tables or cleaning messes. The restaurant was frequented by… a certain type. Specifically, a man named Salvatore Oscuro and his friends and coworkers. Just about everyone around knew that Oscuro was a powerful gang leader, and while the regulars at the Prinzes’ restaurant often discussed their criminal activities, they never gave the family any trouble.

When Clara was eleven years old, she came home and instead of the usual sight of her parents running the restaurant, she only found a bloodbath. A rival gang had shot up the place in an attempt on Oscuro’s life, and while he had survived, Clara’s parents hadn’t.

Feeling responsible for what happened, Oscuro decided to adopt the girl, making sure she was taken care of and given a good education. While under his care, she changed her name to Kiara Oscuro. As far as she was concerned, Clara was dead. As soon as she was old enough, she started working for Oscuro’s gang. At first, she did simple jobs like deliveries, but once her Stand first showed itself during an attack by another gang, she started carrying out hits.

Kiara quickly gained a reputation as a terrifying assassin, comparable to a vicious attack dog, with inexplicable abilities which made her crimes untraceable. They called her Miss Murder, and the name stuck.

When World War II began and anti-Semitic propaganda began to spread through the US, Kiara took it quite personally. She took great joy in killing any Nazi bastard she saw, and breaking up their meetings with gunfire. She was finally caught during a rally, having released a hail of bullets into the crowd and killed several people.

While in prison, she was approached by what looked like a government agent from some organization she’d never heard of. When he offered her a reduced sentence in exchange for traveling to France and fighting Nazis with abilities like hers, well, how could she possibly turn that down?

Other: Don’t call her Clara. Just don’t.
Her name is a pun on Chiaroscuro, an Italian term for dark-light contrast in art.
Favorite Jojo is tied between Josuke, Giorno, and Jolyne. God I just love those funky kids.

Stand Description: Miss Murder resembles a feminine humanoid figure with long pigtails, wearing a knee-length cloak and a gas mask. Reinhilde Amstein is a tall woman at 6’1” and full of regal glory. Her lean body is well muscled from intensive physical conditioning, and somewhat tanned from outdoor exposure. Despite this, her posture and walk betray her high life upbringing, very straight, postured, and very proper. Meticulous, one might even call her movements. Her face slopes down to a sharp triangular point at the chin, while her lips are full and her nose is petite. Her blue eyes are the envy of the Third Reich’s idea of the Aryan master race, though her obsidian black hair is not. It sits down shoulder length, free when not styled for noble events. R. Amstein is known to wear a large variety of designer dresses when entertaining high society life, but in her own time prefers a more practical ensemble: a gray dress embroidered with a fine red jewel covered by a bear-skinned coat (which she skinned and made herself), and her brown hunting hat.

History: Reinhilde Amstein was born in 1915 as an Austrian noblewoman. Her parents had tried for many years before and many years since her birth, but they could not produce any more children, nor a viable male heir. This caused her parents to be more reclusive from their daughter than would be healthy and she was raised primarily by caretakers. For a good chunk of her young life Reinhilde wondered what she could have done wrong to have her parents turn on her, for the idea of nobility and the politics involved wasn’t something so easily understood at such a tender age. Seeing her sadness, her head caretaker, an absolute beast of a woman named Olga, decided to teach the young girl all about self-reliance and personal strength. 

Between lessons on courtesy and social interactions, Olga had R. Amstein take lessons in fencing, boxing, took her to the family firing range, and on long weekends would take her camping where the two ladies would “rough it” with only 2 knives between them for supply. It was hard, but it was the kind of personal, one on one interaction that Reinhilde needed to become a strong woman, to come into her own.

As she aged into her teens, her parents would rear their heads here and there to present her with potential suitors, men from other noble families across Europe and Russia. She would have none of it, however. Her parents had given up hope on making their own heir and so hoped to auction her off to unite with another family for their own benefit and she refused to play that role. Reinhilde swore that she would take over the family herself as the true heir: she was not some prize to be won or given away so someone else could handle her family’s estate.

As the years went by more and more suitors came to her doorstep to ask her hand in courtship and, soon after, marriage. The quality of these suitors seemed to be going down as time went on, for the political climate was changing. An Austrian man by the name of Adolf Hitler had become the head of state in their brother country of Germany, and things were in motion. People were expressing… Strange opinions. Shifting blame to different ethnic groups, swearing this man would bring Germany, and of course Austria, into a new golden age. Reinhilde had to admit, while she agreed with this man’s goals, the methods seemed… Misplaced. That everyone was flocking to support this little man and his tantrums was truly mindboggling, even if his policies did rebuild Germany after the Great War and the vastly unfair Treaty of Versailles sank that country into the ground. But no, she shot these suitors down as she did all the others before, making her parents more and more desperate.

Then the second Great War began, World War II as they were calling it. Austria was officially allied to Germany, as were Italy, Japan, and numerous other smaller countries. Reinhilde pleaded with her parents over the state of the world, made them swear not to support the Nazi party or the Third Reich, which they did. However they still had a fundraiser to attend to in Berlin, which left her suspicious. She followed them in secrecy to find that they had, in fact, lied to her. They were participating in a fundraiser alright, but for the Nazi party. She spied on them from across a nearby rooftop, disgusted. With her pistol on hand, she wanted to end it all, but… At that range, with only a sidearm? There was no way. That’s when she started to see numbers appearing across her vision. Distance, wind speed and angle, suddenly her father’s smug face was up close like she were staring right into his soulless eyes. Suddenly the facts were clear: she could make the shot. Reinhilde lifted her pistol, took aim, and fired. With that one twitch of the finger she did the impossible and ended the lives of two people: her mother and father brought down from a distance that shouldn’t have been doable by even the most experienced sniper using an unfit weapon. Biting back the tears, she ran…

More years past and R. Amstein dealt with her trauma in the worst of ways. Supporters of the Third Reich naturally came to inform her of her parents’ demise and ask if she had anything to do with it. Being a terrible liar, she outed herself almost instantly and was forced to kill the inspectors. Of course she couldn’t stick around the manor after that, so she took off into the wilderness to survive. But she wouldn’t be hunted. She would be the hunter. Nazis and their supporters came looking for her, and all they would find was death. Eventually they stopped sending men after her, but that didn’t stop her from hunting them down anywhere she could and killing them without warning or mercy. She got a thrill from it, hunting down these beasts in the guise of men, intoxicated by it…

Reinhilde Amstein has been hunting and killing soldiers of the Axis Powers anywhere she can come across them. The isolation, the death, it’s made her a bit… Off. If she were reacclimated to society then she’d perhaps remember all her social skills, but for now she may not be able to distinguish friend from foe...

Stand Parameters: Destructive Power: Null, Shoot to Thrill possesses no offensive capabilities whatsoever.

Stand Description: 

Shoot to Thrill is a wearable stand that takes the form of a cybernetic eye mask placed over R. Amstein’s right eye, covering half her cheek. It wraps around her head with three black straps and appears to be made largely of a bronze-tinted metal. The actual eye lens changes color depending on what visual mode is currently active.

Power Description: Shoot to Thrill’s only ability is to grant the user various forms of extra-sensory sight and derive calculations and measurements from this info. It can zoom telescopically in order to magnify a target from over a mile away to appear to be within only a few feet. It can zoom microscopically to view details on a cellular level. It also has a sonar mode and can switch around the EM spectrum (including UV rays, radio waves, thermal imaging, x-ray, etc.). In any of these modes Shoot to Thrill can calculate distances, angles, account for wind, etc. in order to provide the user with the data necessary for improbable to near impossible feats, such as ricocheting a bullet to hit someone around a corner directly in the left nostril. While calculations are active in any vision mode, different vision modes cannot overlap and must be switched out (Shoot to Thrill cannot, for example, be reading thermal imaging while zoomed in and mapping sonar, but it can do any of these individually while calculating the perfect shot). Additionally, while Shoot to Thrill can provide the user with all the data necessary to accomplish a particular feat, it does not assist in actually lining up the shot and pulling the trigger: the user still has to rely on their own skill.

Appearance:
Taras towers over most other men. He is tall and built thick, and he isn't afraid to let his muscles do the talking when needed. Being a soldier, it's not uncommon to find a few scars here and there on his pale skin, the most noticeable of which is one the runs through his right eyebrow. Not only his skin but his hair is pale as well: a very light blonde. One could say he looks like the stereotypical Russian and he would take that as a compliment. Although he is usually in uniform, he's quite a snappy dresser when out of it.

Skills:
Taras is well read and can process information very quickly, especially of the written kind. His memory is also very good. He's interested in the medicinal arts but never made a career in them, the most he knows is some first aid and field surgery. Something most of his comrades know but don't talk about is that sometimes he likes to practice surgical techniques on dying soldiers under the guise of said "field surgery." Stemming from his information processing, he is also gifted in language. Taras can fluently speak Russian, Ukrainian, French, English, German, and Finnish. He is capable of understanding Polish but doesn't speak it. Finally, he's a great driver.

History:
Most of Taras' early life does not matter. He was born into poverty in the Motherland of the Soviet Union, and enlisted in the military to escape it - that's the most of what he'll tell you, and only after a few drinks. His early career as a soldier mostly involved being sent to remote locations, waiting in snow, mud and filth, then marching home. Sometimes, he would get to kill someone. Engaging the enemy was some of the only excitement he could find, as the games of his fellow soldiers bored him. He worked hard until he was eventually recognized and promoted to Officer, and from there he became a trusted member of the NKVD. 
He worked in a section of the NKVD that would later become the MGB. Put simply, his job was to investigate any threats to the Soviet Union: both internally or externally.
At some point, his work brought him into contact with a strange alien arrow. Several of his colleagues died when they touched it. Taras himself was bedridden for days, but afterwards he emerged stronger than ever with a strange power of his own...
The situation at hand directly interests him and his occupation. Perhaps due to his standing in the NKVD, or the fact that stand users are somehow drawn to each other, Taras was chosen as the agent to investigate the unusual claims.

「Bad Case」

Appearance:
「Bad Case」appears to be a metallic mosquito or other insect equipped with a hypodermic needle as a proboscis. When standing a full height it measures barely one foot (31cm) tall, with a similar width. It can move extremely fast and uses it's legs to climb walls and ceilings. The clicking of it's legs can be heard by other stand users, but when it moves slowly it doesn't make a sound.

Power:
In as simple a way to put this as possible,「Bad Case」manipulates the flesh of any living beings it sticks it's needle into.  It doesn't change their properties, nor their mass or anything like that. Inside, 「Bad Case」physically twists and contorts a living being's body. 
Surface-level changes happen fairly quickly. As long as「Bad Case」's needle or "proboscis" is connected to the victim, it can freely shape the victim's flesh in any way it's user wants. It can do things like rearrange a person's face, move parts of the body from one area to another, or move excess flesh to cover wounds and stop bleeding. No matter what changes it makes, there is one thing in common: all the changes happen physically and are excruciatingly painful.「Bad Case」's "bite" feels only mildly annoying, like the tingle of an actual bug bite, however. In addition to moving body parts, all the parts moved remain functional. For example, if an ear was moved down to the shoulder, the ear could still hear. 
Internal changes, such as the moving of organs or blood vessels, even minor ones, take much longer to complete. Any changes that「Bad Case」makes are gradually reversed if the stand is discovered and dislodged quick enough, but with enough time attached the changes can become permanent. 
Because「Bad Case」is relatively fragile stand better suited to stealth attacks and reconnaissance, it has one method of defense should it become cornered. Taras can see and hear whatever the stand sees and hears, so he usually can direct it to run when danger appears, but should the back of stand (the "abdomen" section) be touched, it activates an ability called 「Moon Stone Shine」 which lights up the area brilliantly. The light is intensely blinding, it's capable of causing eye damage should someone be too close to it and get hit with a direct blast. The light is intended to let「Bad Case」escape - and although the stand's body does heat up slightly while activating it and the light itself can be harmful, this ability doesn't do direct damage. It can be manually activated but once it's used, it obviously gives away the stand's position.

Other: The「Moon Stone Shine」is named after several sources. The writer and singer of "Bad Case of Loving You" is Moon Martin. "Fresh-sown Moonstone" is a lyric in "Blinded by the Light." The "shine" bit also obviously comes from this.
