• Aspect of Soul: Beast Dominator: Taking the form of a floating mirror that follows Rosea around, The Beast Dominator is not a weapon, rather it is a vector for a weapon to be born. It works by consuming the soul/vitality of a fallen enemy, and storing it within itself. This is important for the mirrors true ability which requires the energy of the souls of others to even occur, Inversion is the process in which Rosea becomes Caligo. By melding with the souls of the fallen, the overwhelming darkness creates a being of destruction to protect the light. This can be either a voluntary or involuntary transformation. It is impossible to communicate directly with this being, but Rosea and Caligo have a habit of leaving messages for each other.
Rest sweet light, It is time for night to fall
A being born out of protective darkness, The same soul but an entirely different person. The Reverse side of a person, where Rosea is upfront, forgiving and playful. Caligo is secretive, hateful and ruthless. Where Rosea likes to get stuck in punching the enemy clear in the face and wrestling. Caligo would much prefer to efficiently deal with as many enemies as possible and if that is murder then so be it. It is only the rule of the wild that the strongest survive.
Even so, Caligo will not allow anyone or anything to bring harm to Rosea, emotionally or physically. Perhaps it is just selfishness to wanting to make sure that Caligo herself continues to exist or perhaps that is just another opposite...
Due to the way the inversion process works, The two forms have separate 'health bars' It is possible for one to be critically injured and transform into the other in order to recuperate in a sort of 'healing coma'. It must be noted however that when staying as Caligo for an extended period, this form suffers vastly reduced combat output as it is maintained by the souls of others. Which must be burnt to maintain the form over combat.
Combat wise, Caligo vastly outstrips the average destruction magus, mostly because she can burn souls for the costs of her spells she is capable of a vast amount of 'burst' Caligo however is not a bruiser type of fighter and is very much a frail target if caught off-guard, as direct damage to her form will also drain her reservoir, hence why she stays out of combat distance.

Ties of Friendship: A bond of pink light akin to a ribbon attaches itself to her wrist and the wrist/ankle of the person she is fighting, limiting the distance the two of them can be separated from each-other to 5 meters tops. "You are going to accept my fists of friendship no matter what!"
Thorns of Loneliness Caligo is protected by a thorned root that coils around her, defending against attacks. Because it is controlled by her directly it can be feinted to be made uneffective. But if she remains focused it can be difficult to land a hit on her. "Don't touch me... Go away..."
Youthful Energy Overdrive Rosia's magic is all about making herself stronger and faster So she can feel the flow of combat and dance with her opponent. Playing with them as much as she can in order to understand them. Her Overdrive state is achieved when she becomes nearly euphoric with positive emotions. Resulting in her glowing with energy In this state her physical strength and speed of movement is greatly increased, however because she is opening her heart. Her defence is drastically decreased.

Sorrowful Entropy Overdrive
Caligo's magic is extremely destructive but requires distance otherwise she'd end up hitting herself, Using her signature darkness explosions she can detonate a ball of energy at coordinate any point in her immediate vicinity (up to 50 meters away from her). She can similiar create solid spikes of this same 'dark energy' for trapping her targets. In the event Caligo is completely consumed by her loathing and hatred for a person she will similarly experience an overdrive state. Where the range of her magic is reduced as is her ability to evade attacks, however her personal defences Skyrocket to the point she can tank her own explosions, as the fight becomes a lot more personal and brutal.

• Background:
Rosea had always been quite a happy girl, even though she was happy to the point of being a nuisance and thus had difficulty making friends. She'd always smile. So of course when she was sleeping and she saw someone lonely in her dreams, of course she'd offer to be their friend... of course the mirror that would show up after was quite strange, and the periodical black-outs and movement were strange. But she would still smile, happy that she could be help someone make friends.
Calico however. Calico was scared that she was thrust into such a civilisation.. and the tower, yes that seemed like the only suitable escape from the city...

Technically to allow the transformation to occur, one soul is consumed. And to maintain it, one soul is required for every 20 seconds in combat.
Out of combat 1 soul equates to 1 hour of transformation tine
The mirror facilitates the transformation singularly. If perhaps I were to add something it would be that it deflects projectile attacks in both states.
Her overdrive forms are very stamina draining Rosea for instance will quickly tire physically. While Caligos Soul consumption increases to a single soul every five seconds.

Cut down her transformation time to 10 minutes. She won't be needing an hour's worth of transformation time and she's still Level 1 anyway. Don't add deflection to the mirror; it's fine as it is and that can be gained later. Add these changes and she's fine by me.

• Aspect of Soul: Spiked Bolas - Looking more like caltrops on string, her spiked bolas are effective at slowing down a foe in more ways than one. Wrapping around both themselves and into the flesh of unsuspecting victims, their use is magnified by just the variety of poisons and magic they can be tipped with.

Silenced Steps - The only sounds coming from her are those she's let you hear. While she couldn't hold back the boom of a canon she fired; no matter how much noise her inventory makes or how loud she could scream, she'd emanate only deafening silence if she so desired.
Magus Hand - Simple understanding and talent for the mystical allowing her to simulate magical spells and abilities that would otherwise be unavailable to her.
• Background: Her time in the tower thus far has been both eventful and dull. Having not been directly involved in much activity, she spent her free time doing her fair share of solo adventures with any significance to them drowned away by her own feelings; much to the same tune of her life before. Time was a thing she felt she had a lot of and she filled it to the best of her abilities upon her whim. She was interested in everything, but only put enough effort as it took to move on to the next topic. Perhaps it was boredom, but she always felt the grass was greener wherever she wasn't. Or at least was somewhere she hadn't stepped foot in.
Her shifting interests aside, she was no stranger to trouble. Looking into greener fields often meant trespassing onto forbidden lands. Trouble would usually work its way to confront her seemingly out of the blue. While being confronted time again grew rather tiresome, it focused her mind and she be even more annoyed if she held back. She dealt with her trouble in a variety of ways, but always viewed her victories just as mundane as the rest of her life. A life that just so happened to now take place in a tower floating above a city. What troubles and interests that come before her here keeping her interests, even if only on the mystery and unknown alone.

Magus Hand - Her natural talent wielding the arcane makes her almost just as much of a mage as she is a rogue. Her magic is old and classless; not as effective or efficient as the elemental or colored magic system used today in its base form. Expanding past the boundaries that limit masters of those types to produce a higher variety of spells at her disposal.

• Name: Hannah Hayes | Caprice
• Title: The Stacked Deck

• Class: Magical Girl Warlock(Rod)
• Aspect of Soul: Deck of Cards. It is useful for playing card games. In combat, it can be thrown at the opponent to irritate and distract them.
• Abilities: Hannah is coordinated and graceful, adept at invisible sleight of hand, playful card tricks, and the gentle flourishes of serving food. She also has access to cooking magic to create delicious and helpful food.
• Background: Hannah Hayes, before she entered the Tower, and truly became Caprice, the Stacked Deck, was working part time in Sheila's bakery, while attending Valencian Culinary Institute, with a focus in baking and cake. She had left normal education to focus on the trade she was interested in. However, she was always keenly aware of those who were less fortunate than to be able to seek schooling in a magical academy. She liked to bring leftovers and magic tricks to libraries in poorer areas for those of impoverished means.
Hannah's motto is "Bread is the lifeblood of civilization. Plenty allows kindness." While she notes that some are able be virtuous and generous even in the toughest and meanest of times, while others can seek to consume all with endless greed, she believes that those are merely heroic or villainous individuals. She instead seeks to enable the good spirits of the common folk by providing them with a bountiful world. That is the wish in her heart as she climbs the tower.
Fortunately, one of her first contacts was with Aria, and with her, Hannah made a pact to become a magical girl become a Warlock, adopting the persona of Caprice, The Stacked Deck. Because Hannah really like the outfit for resembling what she used back in Miso City, even if all her powers were food based. In return, Hannah made Aria doughnuts. Hannah spent some time studying under Aria before continuing on further in the Tower.

Page 1 Summary:
1.0: There is a tower. It is spooky adventure tower.
1.1: Awaken in tower.
1.2: Rose wakes up first. "I want Everything and more" Woah, expanding your range really far away from Henry there, Flood. :P "I gotta go, I gotta go right now". She is either very excited or really needs to use the restroom. "Chose" rod.
1.3: "Hi, my name is Umi!" That about sums it up. She grabs sword and wakes up.
1.4: Tokuda kinda just picks the shield. And has nothing to say to his new harem. He stays on the floor.
1.5: Akiko picks the rod, but like, she just plans on seducing people. She decides to take the initiative and first step, offering to help up Tokuda.
1.6: Dark magical girl indeed. "Only for Kanbaru's hand to clench upon a solid shaft". Watch out Tokuda, she means business. She says howdy and asks if anyone's seen television head cats. Surprisingly, the answer is no.
1.7: Tokuda refuses the help. -1 Lover points with Akiko. Paraphrasing his general responses- "I never asked for this".
1.8: Organization 13 is here for Aqua's keyblade, I mean, the GM doesn't want Rose to split the party, I mean, a helpful man teaches Rose the meaning of friendship. Gives Kanbaru a blank card and explains fast travel. Also says that they all wanted adventure. Which seems to be the case of everyone but Jensen Tokuda.

1.13: Guy calls Rose Ruby. Yes, yes, we get it. "Red like Roses" and all. He explains that this is the "Coded" kingdom hearts game and they're all in Ansem's simulated world. Card opens up pathway to "Miso City" and "Night SKy"
1.14: Umi likes that she's named after the ocean but someone else is the water mage. Wants to go to night sky cause Miso City might make them leave.

He slowly walks towards the group except not really he's already attacking from the side but only Kanbaru knows. Except everyone seems to act like they know but he was just faster than they could follow? Cards seem to make less effective swords than metal from the damage being inflicted.

2.4: Attacks on the dude phase through him or are dodged. He is now multiple dudes. Tokuda blocks a meteor. Umi is getting double teamed.
2.5: Kanbaru's boiler water is used to douse Tokuda's shield. Then she summons another geyser under a comet summoning dude and then rushes forward to hit him with her keyblade.
2.6: Akiko uses Critical Past to try and read the bad guy's memory, as she is not a talented fighter.
2.7: Rose crosses sword with card, and attempts to zap the guy while they're locked together. Then she backflips out and sends a wind slash at him.
2.8: Umi gets hurt, but then dodges away from the two fighting her. She assumes there is a real one and that he will disturb the ground.
2.9: Tokuda assumes the slow one is the real one and goes for him.
2.10: Umi was right! Tokuda happens to be engaging the real one. Mysterious figure is stumped by the problem of how to get around a shield and bangs on it to mild effect. Akiko only revealed the mysterious figure's attempts to kill them. Mysterious Figure casts boot on Tokuda. Clones blow up in various faces. Mysterious Figure was just testing them all along and casts black hole. He gives Charlie to Tokuda and Smitten Kitten to Akiko. Umi gets a blank card. The black hole takes them to a cafe.
2.11: Umi casts Rock at the Mysterious Figure before being whisked away. She is hurt. She is playing with her blank card before it shines.
2.12: Kanbaru hugs Touka, who summoned from Umi's card.
2.13: Akiko summons Smitten Kitten.
2.14: Umi tries to polite introduce herself and ask assistance from Touka. Smitten Kitten is a kitten.
2.15: Lin takes her sword. She wakes up in a bar, which shouldn't be a strange situation for her, honestly.
2.16: Touka explains what Serei cards are, that she's a coded memory amalgamation or something. Cait the owner of the bar congratulates everyone and gives them potions.
2.17: Akiko introduces herself to Kitten. She notices Tokuda still hasn't introduced himself. Asks more about Serei, and uses Critical Past on Smitten Kitten.
2.18: Tokuda introduces himself then facepalms.
2.19: Rose is stoked to have fought bad guys. Appoints every cat present maskot of her team and attempts to snuggle everyone. She has delusions of Piracy.
2.20: Touka is healed by Rose. Asks Touka for a powerlist. Asks Rose to calm down. Smitten Kitten doesn't like the idea of maybe not being real. Akiko sees that Smitten Kitten has some claws. Smitten Kitten doesn't want to get real close, and reacts like a Kitten that doesn't want to be held when grabbed by Rose.
Page 3 Summary:
3.1: Kanbaru explains that Serei cards know everything their real copy does, but not the other way round. Also asks Rose to calm down.
3.2: Cait is Drunk and trusts Lin. Explains the "absorb" mode to the party. Touka deflects questions to Kanbaru. Cait asks for a team name.
3.3: Umi backs off from Touka. She decides to name the team Black Pentacle and asks for adventure hooks.
3.4: Rosea wakes up in a place.
3.5: Lin is grumpy without alcohol and goes to find alcohol. Finds Rosea.
3.6: Sherry picks rod.
3.7: Akiko calls Rose Cap'n Cleavage, which I find ironic because she has a seduction power. She then backstory reveals on Rose. Introduces herself again.
3.8: Cait offers two quests, Crimson Pact and Imperious Expedition and asks Sherry to get a team together.
3.9: Umi suggests Imperious Expedition. Smitten Kitten continues to be Grumpy Cat.
3.10: Kanbaru is down for that.
3.11: They end up in Rivenwood, the world of Shattering. A thief runs past them, they are assumed to have stood their ground against a division of mounted cavalry and barred them from passing with no option to step aside, and then a group of mounted cavalry decides that rather than chasing the thief, they will accost the first group of people standing in the vicinity of the way the thief went.
3.12: Lorelai complains at them for barring her cavalry from passing.
3.13: Akiko tries to explain that they're just standing there and meant no ill intent. Uses "reveal past" on Lorelai
3.14: Sherry wakes up, and suggests Ruby Chariot as a name for their team.
3.15: Umi complains that the guards decided to accost them instead of chasing the thief, and points them in the direction they went, as she gets out of their way.
3.16: Rose basically says what Umi says, but also asks for treasure hunting locales.
3.17: Lorelai decides to not pursue the thief, and bring the Black Pentacles to Asgard's place.
3.18: Akiko uses Wildcards. It's super effective. Agrees to go to Asgard's place.
3.19: Caprice picks rod and wakes up in the bar, tries to play quarter in the ear trick on Cait.
3.20: Lin decides she wants to just ask where the treasure in and she's not gonna deal with all the other shit.

2.17: Akiko introduces herself to Kitten. She notices Tokuda still hasn't introduced himself. Asks more about Serei, and uses Critical Past on Smitten Kitten.
2.18: Tokuda introduces himself then facepalms.
2.19: Rose is stoked to have fought bad guys. Appoints every cat present maskot of her team and attempts to snuggle everyone. She has delusions of Piracy.
2.20: Touka is healed by Rose. Asks Touka for a powerlist. Asks Rose to calm down. Smitten Kitten doesn't like the idea of maybe not being real. Akiko sees that Smitten Kitten has some claws. Smitten Kitten doesn't want to get real close, and reacts like a Kitten that doesn't want to be held when grabbed by Rose.
Page 3 Summary:
3.1: Kanbaru explains that Serei cards know everything their real copy does, but not the other way round. Also asks Rose to calm down.
3.2: Cait is Drunk and trusts Lin. Explains the "absorb" mode to the party. Touka deflects questions to Kanbaru. Cait asks for a team name.
3.3: Umi backs off from Touka. She decides to name the team Black Pentacle and asks for adventure hooks.
3.4: Rosea wakes up in a place.
3.5: Lin is grumpy without alcohol and goes to find alcohol. Finds Rosea.

A thief runs past them, they are assumed to have stood their ground against a division of mounted cavalry and barred them from passing with no option to step aside, and then a group of mounted cavalry decides that rather than chasing the thief, they will accost the first group of people standing in the vicinity of the way the thief went.
3.12: Lorelai complains at them for barring her cavalry from passing.
3.13: Akiko tries to explain that they're just standing there and meant no ill intent. Uses "reveal past" on Lorelai
3.14: Sherry wakes up, and suggests Ruby Chariot as a name for their team.
3.15: Umi complains that the guards decided to accost them instead of chasing the thief, and points them in the direction they went, as she gets out of their way.
3.16: Rose basically says what Umi says, but also asks for treasure hunting locales.
3.17: Lorelai decides to not pursue the thief, and bring the Black Pentacles to Asgard's place.
3.18: Akiko uses Wildcards. It's super effective. Agrees to go to Asgard's place.
3.19: Caprice picks rod and wakes up in the bar, tries to play quarter in the ear trick on Cait.
3.20: Lin decides she wants to just ask where the treasure in and she's not gonna deal with all the other shit.

However thanks to this passive ability, this cuteness is absolutely amped up to eleven, making everyone around him want to dote on him at all times. Basically an autopass on most social checks, as who would want to be mean to a little kid?
Powerup: A deal made with a sadistic devil, in cases of extreme danger Takara will fall asleep and unleash his true power as he connects with the malicious BB-chan. This cannot be done willingly by Takara, only activating when he either falls asleep in the middle of a fight or when BB forcibly takes control of her willing vessel.

"My mommy is an angel."

Her family lived precisely on the edge between the average middle-class homes and the lower-class slums, yet barely had enough money to get by to pay for rent and have food. Constantly, Elijah was faced against shady characters whenever she was outside of her home, in some cases almost getting kidnapped or harmed in some predicaments. She wasn't much of an outspoken person back then and she was more reserved in her mannerisms, which she believed had made her soft and vulnerable.
It wasn't until she watched body-building competitions with her father and Saturday morning cartoons of superheroes fighting crime on TV by herself that ignited the inspiration for what she wanted to become when she grew up. To survive in such a place like this, she needed all the strength she could, and she wanted it all. She wanted to become someone that people can look up to as well as a way to stand up for herself.
Thus sparked the inspiration of her body building career.
Starting at only 12 years old, Elijah began exercising her ass off in a variety of different ways. She often exercised with her father - from throwing ball, running laps, swimming, and joining various sports clubs starting in middle school - while her mother also helped in making healthy, nutritious meals to feed her ever growing daughter. By the time she was just entering high school, Elijah's commitment had already begun paying off as she was already developing impressive muscle growth for someone of her age. She already had big plans come High School and beyond, as well as plans to begin a gym membership at their local center. Things seemed to be turning up well for her.
Unfortunately, this couldn't be said regarding their financial situation. Their landlord had already begun to raise the price of rent, to the point where they couldn't afford it anymore. Kicked out of their house, they seemed to be on their own as they began living in their car or living off rickety motels. While this didn't completely stop Elijah from her training, it definitely had demoralized her to a certain extent. Luckily for them, her grandmother from her mother's side had scrounged up some funds to have Elijah move in with her to Miso City, Japan, allowing her to escape the dirty ghettos and move into much more favorable conditions.
But with only enough to have her go, Elijah would have to leave her parents behind for the time being. It was a painful goodbye, but alas she promised to return to them someday, perhaps being a bodybuilder just like she promised them. Thus she went to Japan in the waining years of Summer Vacation. The transition into such a new life-style was difficult for her at first, but slowly and surely she began to learn Japanese and make new friends at school. She was even able to attend various gyms and study basic martial arts classes such as jiu-jitsu and aikido, increasing her physical prowess evermore, eventually finding herself participate in amateur bodybuilding competitions and winning two of them. It was also here where she was formerly introduced to video games and had a light hobby playing various JRPGs on her downtimes - her favorite load-out in one particular game being that of a hammer wielding barbarian ork.
Little would she know... she was about to essentially become that character as she dreamed one night about "The Tower" that loomed overhead one bright sunny day. There she felt a new goal swell within her bones. She had the primary desire to conquer whatever laid in that tower, to prove how strong she can really become. And after being granted the weapons and attire to participate, Elijah proudly proceeded to begin ascending the legendary "Tower of Fable".

- Heavy Kanabo - A gargantuan piece of metal and stone, Elijah's Kanabo is a weapon that only the strongest are capable in wielding affectively. She uses its power to the most brutal and savage degree, smashing the brains and breaking the bones out of any opponent who dares to face her.

- Increased Physical Prowess: For someone who body-builds for a living, Elijah has constantly worked on her physical abilities to become an insanely strong and durable warrior. Her strength alone allows her to wield her extremely heavy Kanabo, push aside large boulders, and even toss fully-grown beings with little effort. Her durability has also made her capable to taking substantial punishment and even survive situations that most people would find fatal. Of course, despite her efforts, she is not invincible and can obviously be killed, however Elijah won't be going down without a fight to the end.

• Aspect of Soul: Double-Edged Glaive – Well, when one blade isn’t enough, why not stick another one on there? Easy to spin and show off with, apart from its deadly capabilities, it’s somewhat a representation of the brash, irrational, but arguably strong, interior to Thomas that he sometimes shows during a battle, contrary to his slightly shy exterior. From the end of one blade to the other it’s roughly 180 centimetres (6 feet) long, a few inches taller than its owner, giving it a fair amount of reach. The two blades are 60 centimetres (2 feet) long themselves and curve in alternating directions at each end, with an equally long hilt between them. It proves an effective weapon, its two blades providing a sometimes overwhelming offence, and its spin, which seems to be aided by its design, giving Thomas a defence that, though risky, can prove useful in a pinch. However, it is the weapon’s unique attribute that makes it truly interesting…
• Abilities: Weapon Morph – Though the form it naturally takes is the double-edged glaive, Thomas’ weapon also has the ability to morph into two other forms on the fly to help make up for certain weaknesses when against different foes, or when the situation calls for it in general. Those two forms are a scimitar, and a recurve bow.
The scimitar has a long, curved blade, around 90cm (3 feet) long in fact, with sharp and distinguished edges and tapers but a minimally decorated leather hilt. Where the glaive lacks offensively in very close combat, the scimitar shines, though surprisingly its striking speed is practically the same.
Whether it’s a result of the ability, or through sheer luck, the recurve bow seems almost bespoke for him, not too big or small. It seems to be made from wood and a metal alloy twined together, a thick and strong string running between the two ends, pulled taut. Obviously it shines the most in ranged combat, the curves on the bow allowing arrows to travel a great distance with incredible power and speed, but it has more utility besides that: being able to shoot objects and various other targets from afar to try and retrieve them, or for some other purpose, as well as being useful for stealth operations.
In simple terms, though he may not be able to do much else yet, Thomas has almost all bases covered as far as weaponry goes. However, until his skills improve, he seems to be more of a ‘Jack of All Trades, Master of None’.
• Background: Thomas was adopted as a baby and, though he can’t remember his biological family, he knew he was adopted almost as soon as he learned the concept of it, given the not so subtle differences between him and his adoptive family- it’s pretty simple to distinguish between black and blond hair, and violet and blue eyes. However, he just assumed that his real family had probably died and left him orphaned as a baby.
Despite this, he had a normal childhood, quite comfortable with his role as the “one shy kid at the back of the class” wherever he went. He had his adoptive siblings to hang out with, to show his more extroverted side, and though to some it seemed almost sad, he was quite happy with just them as his friends. In fact, it was rare that he’d think of the family he’d never had, funnily enough, given that he had a seemingly perfectly good one where he was. He always meant to ask his parents about his true family, though, about where his origins laid, but always seemed to procrastinate actually doing it. It’s not like he wouldn’t be able to ask them later, right? He’d come to eventually regret these thoughts, those decisions.
Just days before his 18th birthday, while Thomas was out buying groceries, a large gas explosion set off in the apartment complex where he lived. Among the 23 fatalities were his adoptive parents, his sister and his brother. Now, Thomas had no friends to turn to, nor family. He was alone, having taken his company for granted. All at once, his life seemed to fall apart before him. He stopped going to school, in fact he practically became a shut-in, only occasionally leaving the temporary accommodation he’d been provided as compensation for food. It was nothing short of a pitiful existence, one that would be simply depressing and painful to watch, but no one was watching. It wasn’t fair.
