Dalkalo’s head shot up as he heard the Captain speak and he stood, turning to the captain.

“I can assure you Captain,” Dalkalo said sternly, “I as well as, Ryker, both know that when this ship is in empty space, we only have each other as well as everyone on the ship.” He barely motioned to Ryker when he spoke.

“I would hope,” he said folding his hands, “a prior ISF soldier can tell the difference between friend and foe.”

‘General Patterson,’ Dalkalo thought to himself, ‘I wonder if thats the senior or junior Patterson.’

Apple DeBaker nodded to Dalkalo's words, she understood, but she understood that some people got more emotional than need be in smaller spaces. Stretching out while sitting on the chair, she kept her eyes on the man while he spoke, and she kept a faint smile on her face, "I think you two will figure it out or you won't; either way, what happens, happens." She commented with a low confident tone while looking around.

She wasn't going to wait much longer on a pilot to show up, she was hoping one did, but she wouldn't fret about it too much. A little longer she thought to herself while looking around the room.

Deciding to pop the question right off, she glanced at the crew that is already there, "So..." Starting off not very strong, "Does anybody else know how to fly a ship? Just curious."

“Captain,” Dalkalo said, “I can set up the autopilot which can get us through the hyper-lanes, but coming out to close to a planet would be tricky without an experienced pilot. We would have to project ourselves safely out of the pull of the planets gravity.”

Dalkalo thought to himself before speaking again.

“If anyone knows how yo pull a ship out of a HyperLane, that’d be great,” Dalkalo said optimistically. The training and investment cost just to get training in the matter is substantial unless your family teaches you, but you mainly find those hicks in outer worlds. Not completely impossible.

Apple DeBaker was shown bits and pieces of different techniques on how to keep a craft stable so it does not crash horribly, but she was not advanced in the techniques of piloting. The woman listened to Dalkalo and smiled without a second thought, "I am glad that you know how to do such a thing, because I am almost completely oblivious when it comes to piloting." She wasn't shy to admit that she didn't know, she was young, and still inexperienced.

When Dalkalo spoke up again, she could only shake her head, "I do not think many would know how to do that unless they were at least intermediate pilots, Mr.Dalkalo." She commented while looking around, hoping a pilot or somebody that knew how would show up, and she knew it was going to be hell without somebody who was experienced.

"Hopefully we can find one soon because we will need to get the ship out of impound without much time." Apple DeBaker commented more to herself than anything, but she still vocalized it. Showing a slight worry about getting the ship in time.

April listened to the chatter of the others but essentially went back to minding her own business. Fiddling with the goggles on her head and the tools in her belt that was still attached to her. That was until the captain asked if any of them knew how to fly a ship. She thought for a moment as the others talked before speaking herself. "Um, I don't have extensive experience and technically any experience I do have is more on the illegal side. And they have all been smaller crafts, of the illegally modified variety. But if you are willing to take a bet on if I could get a larger vessel out of the hyperlanes then, off the record, I know how to fly a ship. If you don't want to take that chance I understand though." She rubbed the back of her neck. She had been big into modifications for the underbellies of some stations in order to actually make a name for herself after literally appearing out of nowhere in her early teens. Not to mention she had to pull some jobs in more shady rings to even get the needed papers to travel and work on various ships she had been on.

When April spoke up and explained the illegal techniques she has learned while flying, Captain DeBaker didn't know if it was comforting or not. She thought about it for a second, "I see..." Was the only thing that could trail out of her mouth with all her thoughts. This got the Captain wondering how many illegal activities has this so-called crew got themselves into the past.

Shaking those thoughts away for she didn't care to assume into depth, she smiled towards the girl, "We will see if we will need those skills of yours or not, for now. Let's start getting ready and hope a pilot will come by." She informed the girl with a warm smile. Captain DeBaker wasn't totally against letting April fly, but April did say she wasn't used to flying bigger crafts.

Standing up from her spot, she decided to look at the crew she already has, "I am going to go to the impound station and see if we can get this ship out of there. I am pretty sure all of you have to come with, because I have to confirm that I have a crew for such a job." Hopefully they were willing to walk some way to the impound section of the hanger.

Luna Station, thank fuck. Stella breathed a sigh of relief as she stepped off the interstellar transport she'd boarded in the Burnell System, carrying what was left of her possessions in a backpack and a duffle bag. Taking a deep breath of the comparatively fresh station air, she moved down the arrivals dock towards Customs, mentally going over the next steps in her life.

"Hmm... lets see, first lodging, then a job. Maybe stop to eat on the way, as long as they don't charge tourist prices..." she muttered to herself while waiting her turn to be processed, before turning to the bored-looking customs agent as he looked up from his computer and took her ID.

"Ma'am, do you have anything to declare?" the customs agent asked.

"No, but... you probably know this station pretty well. Whats a good place to stay unti-" Stella cut herself off as she saw a crew-needed ad scroll across one of the screens in the hallway just past the customs booth.

"On second thought, how do I get to Viewing Dock C-3?" She asked, her relaxed manner completely forgotten as a new opportunity showed itself faster than she had imagined possible.

"Um... yes ma'am, its up three levels and ring-ward from here, but I wouldn't get your hopes up to high, those positions tend to fill up real quick. Good luck to you, though."

-----------------------------------------------------

Out of breath after her mad dash to find Viewing Dock C-3 and one Captain DeBaker, she rounded the final corner, stopping just outside the door to catch her breath and brush her hair out of her eyes before opening the door to the lounge, hearing "-and see if we can get this ship out of there. I am pretty sure all of you have to come with, because I have to confirm that I have a crew for such a job." as she entered. Stella walked up to the speaker and held out a small folio containing her Pilots License and a summation of her best racing achievements.

"Hello, are you Captain DeBaker, and is the Pilots position on your ship still open? I'm Stella Righte and I think my record speaks for itself. I've mostly flown racing ships, both custom and stock, but I certified on all common civilian ship types in training, and it can't be too different. Besides, I spent most of the intersystem trip in sims, freshening up on various ship types."

She holds herself with confidence, and the barely repressed energy of a hotshot.

Captain DeBaker noticed the individual approaching, but she paid no mind to the person right away. When the woman held out the folio containing her pilot's license and summation of her racing achievements. The captain couldn’t help her smile, “Yes, Yes I am.” She said confidently when the other asked if she was Captain DeBaker.

Listening to what this Stelle-pilot-character had to say for herself, Captain DeBaker was internally thanking the gods or whoever was watching, “You are in luck, Stella. You’re our last puzzle piece and I am glad that you showed up, since we really needed a pilot.” She could say that she was extremely relieved that Stella, a pilot, showed up.

Welcome Aboard, Stelle.” Captain DeBaker gestured to the other crew members, “I think we have everyone now that you showed up, so we can definitely get that ship out of the compound now.” Apple DeBaker seemed excited now.

"Really dodged a bullet on that one," Dalkalo said quietly. He saw Stella, and with a breath of relief, he turned to the captain.

"What is the plan for the rest of the day, Ma'am. Will we be touring or will be setting off right away?" He took notice that everyone seemed to have all of their personal items that they needed. He wouldn't doubt that the Captain would want to get out of the impound lot as soon as possible.

"Captain, would you happen to have a mission on hand or would you be planning on winging it?"

Everyone was probably relieved when it came to knowing that there was an actual pilot in the crew now. Captain DeBaker internally and externally could show how much calmer she was now to have such a participant on board. Upon getting asked about the days plan, Apple DeBaker nodded her head, "Personally, I think we should tour the ship once we get it out of compound. This will help us understand what we are dealing with," hopefully this was a better answer than none.

On what she has been told the aircraft is completely good to get out of bay, but she didn't trust the words of compound attendants; at least not all the time. They will say a lot of things to make an extra buck or get a free space up for something else.

Glancing back at the individual who kept asking questions, Dalkalo, she had no true answer when it came to having a mission or winging it. They could probably find something easily if a mission was needed, but her main plan right now was to get the ship out of compound. Stopping to think about it, "I don't think I have anything-" she paused in her thought for a second or two "-winging it might be better for now. Do you have something you want to share, Dalkalo?" Captain DeBaker asked, since he might have a mission or have heard of one.

"There is a quick cargo mission we could do," Dalkalo said opening a hologram on his PDA, "we have to travel to "Melting Star System, Sector 1-20-001, Station 1-20-56-026. It's a neighboring system but it's an older station. Might have to use a drone to get the cargo. It says here, that it's going to 1-16-13-004, the Hypocore System."

Dalkalo sent the information to all of the crew members. The offered payment was 1500 per crate equaling out to 9000 credits. There was currently one bidder making a higher offer of 2500 credits per crate. After a quick refresh of the market, it showed a second bid marking 2000 per crate, by Dalkalo.

"It's not truly customarily for me to make the bid," Dalkalo said, "but this request is listed under urgent."

---

After the crew had introduced themselves to the Captain and the other crew members, they departed, the meeting room, and boarded their ship. The Hangar Master bid them good luck and farewell as the engines of the Nameless ship roared on. Escaping the station, the Communication System immediately sparks on.

"Hello," a voice said calmly as an ISF interceptor strafed across the bridge, "According to ISF and Galactic regulations, you need to register a call sign. I know you are fresh out of the Impound, been wondering when that hulk was getting out of there. I've got you marked for 24 hours before you get fined and have your ship here impounded."

---

"Captain, I've got a course plotted," Dalkalo said after the transmission ended.
