Is anyone out there waiting for anything Steve related?

Been talking to the Boss and while I don't have the time for an action heavy character like Hulk (sorry to those involved in Gamma World) now I have some form of device I'm going to be picking up Steve.

[@Deadcruiser] reading your last Thor post I've devised a way to end that interaction if you choose, however afaik the GMS are talking to you so I'll wait for the greenlight

I think we have a pretty good plan worked out for Thor now, I'm happy to say.

I did want to check in on the subject of Prof X, though, as that's what's holding up Doctor Fate right now. Can I just write him in for a post, and then move on? Not sure what DocTachyon's status is currently, or what the best way to proceed would be.

Bruce Wayne was born to two loving parents on a cold night in September, 1988. Bruce Wayne died beside his parents on a cold night in November, 1996. He was eight. He was never mourned.

The child is dead; what remains is a paracausal being of zealotry, rage, and willpower. This unnatural creature spends twelve years inhabiting the body of Bruce Wayne, seizing every new day as a fresh opportunity to push itself towards some as-yet-unknown goal. Alfred, the guardian, secretly fears this changeling child, in his worst moments pining for the bubbling, gleeful boy that left the manor with his parents that fateful November night, and never returned. At twenty-one years old, the skin-walker leaves Gotham, and Alfred allows some dark corner of himself to believe that the City has been spared an unknowable evil.

On the sixteenth anniversary of his parent’s brutal, senseless murder, the prodigal Wayne son returns to his city, anger tamed and zealotry focused, and he brings with him a singular purpose: to rid his home of the corruption that threatens to swallow it whole. He dons a mantle of fear, and begins a war.

Another sixteen years hence and Bruce is mid-40's, and while his war has never stopped, the landscape of it has shifted; gone are the old days of bribery, politics, and corrupt infrastructure. Instead, modern Gotham is plagued by megalomania, psychopathy, sadism, and terrorism: the nature of the world has changed, and with it, the nature of evil. Over the course of his long career, Bruce has been well-supported by an ever-growing network of allies - but now he finds himself relying on them more than ever, as his own body begins to fail him.

As the face of Gotham shifts once more, there is nagging doubt that Bruce refuses to acknowledge; the disquieting thought that maybe, he is not enough for the fight anymore. As the era of a new war erupts - perhaps it is time for a new soldier.

With this Batman, I'm looking to carry on the spirit of the Bruce MB was playing; an older Batman, slowing down, perhaps even struggling to keep up with the ever-flowing tide of criminals into his city. Things are slipping out of his grasp, and a new crisis rocks the city - one that Bruce isn't even sure he's capable of handling anymore. Bruce won't admit it - can't admit it - but the time for Batman has passed. A new breed of protector is necessary for the continued safeguarding of Gotham; but does such a hero even exist? Would the most suitable protector even be a hero?

Evil is evolving. Good needs to adapt alongside it.

In regards to Prof. X, Bounce and I are the premier X-peoples here now that Doc is gone - I believe he dropped the character back in September. I'll be honest, I haven't read your Fate stuff so no idea what's going on there with Xavier, but with Doc gone and Bounce and I in charge of X-Men stuff, I'd say you're good to wrap up whatever you need to with Xavier so you can continue with your story. Assuming Bounce is also cool with that.

A car filled with armed robbers hauled ass I-275. Their haul was pretty miniscule: less than two grand from the 24 hour check cashing place on W. Trade. But they didn't care, it was enough to get them by until their next score. And with them hitting a place in the middle of the night in a bad neighborhood, they would be long gone by the time the cops actually showed up.

But that's where I came in.

"Can't read my, can't read my, no he can't read my poker face!"​

I sang along with the radio as I sped down the interstate behind the robbers. I just so happened to be nearby when the news came over the scanner. My GTO is pushing 120 and humming along nicely without a hitch. God bless American cars. I pulled my .45 out the shoulder holster and aim with my left hand out the window while I kept the car steady with my right hand on the wheel.​

"P-p-p-poker face, p-p-poker face."​

BLAM!​

The gun kicked in my hands and the robbers' car starts spinning out of control as the bullet rips their back left tire to shreds. ​

The car slammed into the embankment and I zoom on past. I could already see the lights of the police car in the rearview mirror. They cops would have them surrounded in about thirty seconds after I left the scene.​

"Can't read my, can't read my, no he can't read my poker face!"

Yay, new player character!

Not to be too presumptious, but I've already completed my introductory Wasp post. I have her handily defeat the T-Rex by shrinking it down to a harmless size and then casually re-introduce herself to She-Hulk with a quip, pretty clearly exposing that she's clueless to the fact that she's been declared dead for ten years.

you can if you want too but I would be very appreciative if nobody squished the T-Rex like Superboy squished the Chitauri space worm...Janet has already named him Reptar 🥺

So I suppose I am just waiting on feedback now :3
the only rush is my excitement to get this posted and get involved with the RP in earnest again
