Okay cool, I'd love to hear more about the MC. I was designing one based off some cool Appalachian myths, but the town is probably too small for two biker gangs I imagine lol.

The long and short of it is the MC is called the Fallen Angels MC (though I'm open to renaming it to something maybe you were thinking of to make the name appropriately named). Given in this area (this is coming from @Sugar and Spite) the mc's are more guardian angels than outlaw bikers. Probably more in line with what a MC really should be about and not the gun-toting, drug-dealing kind we have been normalized. More about the community than anything else. I want them to have a somewhat long history in Pine Holler, so some of the more senior members are likely in their 50s and 60s. Some younger characters are, of course, welcome since there's always need for some prospects.

On that note, putting it out there for 1 of 2/3 characters I'm making:

Clive Evermore (AKA White Sugar) - 38 - FC: Max Thieriot. He is recently released from prison due to an assault charge but was let off after only serving 5 years of a 9 year sentence. He lives in the trailer park and is trying to find his place in the world again.

I'd be down for the Fallen Angels tbh, but just for the sake of sharing I'll let you know what I came up with as well.
In Appalachian folklore, there are these myths about massive, supernatural Black Dogs. These dogs, often described as wolf-like with glowing eyes, are a staple of local legends, appearing as warnings before tragedy or as protectors, often linked to the boundaries between the living and the dead. So the idea was that it was the Black Dogs MC in honor of that legend, and the idea could still fit into your idea of what the club should be while also integrating some of the local folklore into the mix as well.

I did come up with a basic concept for what their patches could look like and stuff, but I'm not married to any of it.

Was thinking a stay at home wife/mum in mid 30s-ish who was doing pretty alright as far as someone in Pine Hollow can and on her husband promotion at the lumber mill thought it was a great time to try for a baby but with the lumber mill closed, husband's job gone and the little savings they had drying up fast they're trying to pick up the pieces of their life before the arrival of their baby.

I'm trying to rope @SalemFlame into doing this with me but that's tbd I think

Also wanting to try at an 'evil' with a slimy CEO trying to scope out the land and places, making irresistible deals for idk what company yet. who has a house in the city but literally only uses it when absolutely necessary but has it more to says they're 'part of the community' while doing whatever to turn up their nose from said community

Okay, so I plan to use Katherine McNamara as my FC and I think she's gonna be sisters with @princess character. She's gonna be on the younger side, like between 22-25, I haven't decided yet, but she's doing everything she can to provide for her daughter (even secretly unsavory things). They're gonna live in the trailer park and I was hoping for baby daddy to be in the biker gang too, but he's gonna be an asshole lol. Very much just making my characters life hell because he's mad she left him and he doesn't have as much control over her anymore. He's not necessarily a bad guy, just a jerk to her.

I plan on him currently just being an NPC type thing, but if he would interest anyone in playing/fleshing out more, I'm always open for collabing that stuff. Just wanted to add to what I've been figuring out in my head lol.

Well, if everyone's doing it, I might as well join the party. So, awhile back, I had a character I never got to particularly use for a roleplay. It died before it got off its feet, but I think I can translate the character well enough to fit this setting. Of course, I'll have to change some things up, but some elements are still there for me to work off. I might think of something else, but for now I'm just rolling with this idea ATM.

Suzanna "Suzie" Mae Poots (look, Imogen Poots was on the mind at the time and the name rolled nicely off the tongue) - early 20s - FC: Emilia Jones



Parents passed when she was young, and her older brothers were nowhere around (prison, military, etc.; they're open as potential PCs but otherwise NPCs if they even show up) so she was left in the care of her grandfather. Grandfather didn't have much, but he was a rural/wilderness-type of man, so he knew things which he in turn passed down onto her. Hunting, fishing, bushcrafty stuff. It fed them while the pension kept them afloat.

But then, pops dies. Town starts going under. Bills go unpaid; rent goes up. What do you do to keep yourself fed and sheltered on your own? The only experience you have is out in the woods, so you start taking a bit more. An extra deer. Two more fish. Is it legal? No. Would you go to jail and deal with fines if someone found out? Yes. Suzie knows it isn't right, but she knows business is just business. People will 100% trade/help out for or buy wild game to keep food on the table. Trailer park favor goes a long way as long you don't rat out the source.

Ngl I kinda fuck with your idea a bit more. I mean, I love the idea I have for Fallen Angels and it could most certainly work (them being literal angels for PH) but the idea you came up kinda fits with the idea I presented, maybe even slightly better since it has folklore ties. Plus, we could even have to where each member, as it is with biker/gang culture, each have a dog/canine related nickname so it fits thematically. Plus x2 Black Dogs for a MC name? That's just badass!

Nothing wrong with a little shyness.

The discord is more so to just make communication easier amongst the writers in the group. You don't have to be our best friend, or be in there every day - but reacting to announcements, letting us know you're alive, and using discord to plot character relationships is pretty crucial for me as a GM. If this is something you think you can work with, I'd love to hear whatever character concepts you may have and DMing you the discord link.
