Who/what is everyone enjoying reading? @Eddie Brock with Dani is definitely one of my favourite characters, but @Hound55 writing Qing's dad, Bo, is rapidly catching up. In terms of side characters, he's very enjoyable with the way he plays up a language barrier and is always trying to set Qing up with the pretty girls.

Overarching plots, @Sep is killing it with linking Dusk and the missing Grays plots to a wide number of players, while @BrutalBX and the King's Blood plot have also been a lot of fun to follow along. @Natty's world-building with Harbourlight just makes me envious. I didn't think of it first for the Haunt, and Joanie and her little gang are always a treat to read.

Honestly, there's a lot to gush about an IC this strong. @Stormyx and @Melissa are also hitting it out of the park with their characters and their plots. It's always fun when Eve shows up in a post since you never know which voice is going to be talking.

I desperately want more of @Supermaxx and Solomon. Both @DocTachyon and @Captain Uni are also writing unforgettable characters, with Rock and Ace appearing in a wide number of posts and being some of our more prolific capes.

I am really looking forward to Archie coming into his own and actually getting to write some team ups with these characters.

@Memoria, I really appreciate how you were able to tie your latest post into @Natty's previous post. It was a great way of continuing a plot thread that I actually wasn't sure where to expect it to go, and I think it also showcased a new perspective of Marth's powers.

Thank you :) I appreciate that. Yeah, I don't think his power would typically work so poignantly like this and certainly not over such a long distance (at least for now), but I think his empathic connection to Joanie and the weight of her emotions in that moment amplified his power in that moment as well (like when his power first manifested as his grandfather was dying slowly and painfully). Plus, I really have to give props to @Natty's last post for inadvertently setting up my next post so perfectly. I was in the middle of writing my post, saw their post, and then rewrote my post after their post gave me spontaneous inspiration. So thanks to Natty! lol <3

I really appreciate the weight that Scott is carrying about having to take a life @Captain Uni. I'm glad you're choosing to tackle it rather than glaze right past it.

It is kinda all around I am liking, but I will shout out some.

I need to read and catch up with the IC to see where I want Yulian to get involved, since I do want him to interact with the cast. I do have a plot in mind for Yulian, I just have been showing how his normal life is about(minus the shockwave at the gym) and then throwing a wrench in that life with his brother showing up and stuff happening.

I've been enjoying everything.

It's nice to be part of an RP that is this active, and showing little signs of slowing down.

With Vanguard, the world feels genuinely lived in and it has it's own vibe, something which @Lord Wraith remarked on -- that it doesn't feel like Gotham-lite or a Metropolis, but like it's own place and I think that's much to do with the stories everyone is weaving and the lore we're building up together. Everyone also feels respectful of what everyone else is building too, which is huge.

I genuinely don't have a favourite character, if I'm honest. I lean more to having favourite moments and the opening scene for Archie was one of those -- the introduction of his world felt so realistic and all of the side characters have a lot of colour and distinct characters. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Wretched Rat reveal, it really got under my skin when I read it and it's made me want to go back and find other breadcrumbs.

I am also a fan of watching characters react to other PC after meetings, so the moment in the van with Qing and Bo Wen after they were at Eve's tickled me a lot, and their relationship and dynamic is one I'm thoroughly enjoying. @Hound55

@DocTachyon writing Rock in his fight with the count was just a phenomenal moment and “You're looking at him.” gave me CHILLS in real time.

Equally, I'm enjoying the Bret and Sienna story @Melissa and @BrutalBx which feels like it's is own thing but actually it links in to a lot of what is going on. The chemistry between the two of them is simmering and delicious to read and I enjoyed collabing with Mel, and seeing Sienna even in that post reflect on Bret.

What I would love to see is more collabs for these interactions that I enjoy and make my brain tick. I'm always down to jump in with others as well for collabs, a lot of the fun for me is just having Eve bounce off other characters and see which version of her is going to come out. Collabs I find are challenging in a good way and might force me to pivot a bit on paths I thought I was sold on for the character which is what happened when I collabed with @Sep. Shout out to him for crafting out a big plot like he is with the missing Greys too, leaving toys and such in the sandbox so to speak for us all to play with and find ways to make connects with characters.

I have thought often of how those two would interact.

For me, I'd really enjoy a team up of Ace and Bret, actually. There would be something tantalising about Ace and his youthful spirit alongside Bret's more no-nonsense, very disciplined and experienced approach to getting his hands dirty.

For all intents and purposes, mag'ik is not magic and purposefully so, so that selfishly I don't have to worry about how it interacts with the more 'supernatural' leaning powers.

Magic to me is still a separate unexplained phenomena that originates from this world while mag'ik is extradimensional.

That said, I am looking forward to Brett and Dusk crossing paths one day. There's something about those two that I think will produce an interesting dynamic.

On that note, I'm keen for Eve to cross paths with a classic Cape too. I can't imagine her holding back her thoughts.

I'm interested seeing the two young women, Joanie and Dani, interact. They have very different, but traditional 'Superhero' powers but come from entirely different walks of life and I figure it would make for a cool dynamic.

I took wish our Lord Maxx still be with us for selfish reasons, but equally seeing Solomon with Bret would be interesting.

With how connected Ace, Dani and Rock are to the world of capes, and how much they know about that world. It would be interesting to see any of them interact with Archie and see something that contradicts their entire belief system.

May as well claim the 400th OOC post while I'm at it.
