Personality: A jumble of thoughts, Finn tends to jumble his words together since his mind works much faster than his mouth. He often has to slow his speech down to snails pace for anyone to understand him. A scientist at heart, he is ever curious and will always put science above all else, even his own life. He often will not eat while experimenting as it would only slow progress which is why he is so skinny all of the time. He does not socialize outside of his lab and will not normally talk to others unless explaining his latest and greatest experiment. He abhors those who would talk down on science or question his abilities both as a professor and scientist. In the science world, he treats his colleagues as competitors and is constantly trying to gain approval, he just hasn't really figured out who since his father has passed away.

When he was told to go study plants, he took it upon himself to go one step further and studied the science behind it. Soon, he found that plants did not excite him and wanted to study animals and their behavior and anatomy. His parents got whiff of this but it was already too late. Finn had the support of his teachers who, despite his parents telling them he would never succeed in this line of work, supported Finn. He got such good grades in school that he got a full ride to a college in America and immediately moved to the states, gaining his citizenship. After graduating (and gaining his doctorate), Finn stayed in America and acquired a job nearby at a college with his own lab. At first, he wasn't concerned with fighting crime, but certain events led up to this. The discovery of a new, interesting element, Element Zero, as Rohrbach called it, and the murder of his wife, Lucille had caused his efforts to shift. Bent on justice, Rohrbach uses this new element to create a band of superheroes to fight crime in his stead.

Name: Penelope Elizabeth Wright

Personality: Always the critic, Penelope doesn't like to admit that other people are right, preferring to stubbornly believe what she'd always believed even when presented with concrete evidence. She is very loyal but hard to approach as she always seems to portray this 'Stay away from me,' aura. She enjoys talking after she's had her coffee, but before then, she'll bite even the meekest of persons' head off.
Once she's had her coffee, Penelope tends to become more sociable, cracking jokes and snarky comments at everyone around her. She isn't afraid to talk to people she's unfamiliar with and, rather stupidly, not afraid of anyone. She is fairly muscular and can hold her own in a fight but doesn't often use it besides weekly trips to the gym.
Background: An only child, Penelope has almost always gotten things the way she wanted and now as an adult she can't cope with the fact that she has to work for a living. She would rather dream big even if it was completely out there. She craves desperately to be writer but would rather wait for someone to notice her rather than put herself out there. She enrolled in Straider, after much debate with her parents, as a creative writing major, hoping to one day write her own novels.

Personality: Emily goes through life at a relaxed pace, even when everyone around her is in a rush. She leaves no page unturned and no decision unplanned, quietly confident in herself and those around her. She is very logical and doesn't bring attention to herself, yet she enjoys the finer things in life and is thus commonly seen wearing...well, things like in her picture. She practices tai chi and is known to meditate on occasion, and values her alone time very highly. All this doesn't mean she has no sense of humor, however; she's always searching for a song to sing and a laugh to share.
Background: Emily was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario by a middle class family. When old enough to work, she worked anywhere that would hire her in hopes of being able to eventually afford college. While her parents were willing to help, Emily knew that they wouldn't be able to afford to pay for it all with her two older siblings entering college before her. A string of jobs including receptionist jobs, a long stint at Chipotle and the occasional local modeling gig eventually earned her enough money to afford higher education, and she enrolled in college as soon as she could. Studying to become an architect, she now works a part-time job as a receptionist for the university, and is in her junior year. Although she has always been good with money and maintains a steady flow of income, the lucrative nature of Project Olympia combined with an acute case of "why not?" caused her to jump at the opportunity.
Chosen Pill Color: Maroon. Taking this pill gave Emily Cryokinesis, or ice manipulation. She and others in the Project feels it compliments her "chill" personality nicely. In a lot of ways she was actually thankful to be given an "ice cold" addition to her personality, as she loves the Canadian winter and Georgia doesn't really get cold. She also enjoys not having to pay air conditioning bills at her apartment, as she is learning to regulate the temperature herself.
Other: Emily can often be found with headphones on her ears. She usually serenades herself to the sweet sounds of progressive rock, and enjoys singing despite never having any formal vocal instruction. Her voice is a mellow alto, and has been Americanized ever since she moved south. Her Canadian roots still regularly show themselves, though, with northern Os and "eh?" habitually creeping into her conversations more often than not.

For all of her pre-college life, Acheri was a resident of Arizona. Her mother was a Hopi Indian, and while Acheri didn’t grow up on Hopi land her mother taught her about their culture when she was very young. Acheri herself doesn’t necessarily agree with all of it, it goes miles to explaining where her strong sense of morality might have come from. Though her father contributed to that quite a lot as well; an aspiring author with a great fondness for old myths and legends, he made sure most of Acheri’s bedtime stories were filled with heroes and quests from the very day she was old enough to understand them. A homebrew of Hopi culture, heroic stories, and Saturday morning cartoons was bound to produce someone like Acheri in hindsight.
Most of her childhood, all things considered, was pretty uneventful. The Solomon household didn’t make very much money, but they made enough to get by. Little Acheri grew up reading books and catching her cartoons when they were on public TV on Saturdays, exercising her imagination through these simpler stories than the peers that grew up with nonstop access to Cartoon Network. She was a bright kid, and that love of reading gave her an early edge over classmates that hadn’t really been exposed to literature much before school. That edge only ever really grew, swelling alongside her fascination with the subject material in all of her classes. For the most part, though, her elementary school years were pretty normal. Though her parents had to admit that the occasional phone call because she elected to square off with a would-be-bully herself, rather than get a teacher, were a mild problem. Not really one that they could ever bring themselves to punish her for; technically she never really did anything wrong, and punishing her for standing up for herself was the exact opposite lesson they wanted to teach. So they tried to push her towards asking the teacher for help when she could, explaining sometimes you had to work with the system and that explanation generally cut down on the issues. Not eliminate, but they figured it was the best they were going to get.
The only unexpected thing she ever did was ask to take martial arts lessons. Her parents never really quite figured out why but it was the one thing Acheri was ever really insistent on asking for. It wasn’t really in the family budget to pay for lessons at a privately run school, but a combination of community programs and extracurricular activities proved much more affordable. The problems with the family budget started to become a lot more apparent as she moved into highs school, however. College was the elephant in the room, and really had been since her freshman year of high school.
Acheri couldn’t really miss it, and there was no getting around it. Both parents tried their best, efforts that redoubled ‘coincidentally’ with the start of her Sophomore year, but there wasn’t much that they could do. Even paying for community college would be a challenge, especially if Acheri followed through on the path she was eyeing. The only possible solution was obvious to her, and she pursued it relentlessly. She held a job at a local store throughout the latter three years of high school, kept up with her extracurricular activities, and threw all of her energy into her schoolwork. If she wanted to follow Criminal Justice at a good school, she’d need as many scholarships as she could get. And that meant being the best student she could be.
The combination of high level academics, work, and extracurriculars wasn’t an easy one. Far from it, but Acheri Solomon was bound and determined. After three years of high school her work paid off and she graduated in the top ten of her class, bound for Straider on as close to a full ride as she could possibly get. The money she had saved up from her job in high school was enough (with a little help from her parents and family) to pay for her first year of school, as well as keep her from being completely broke while at school, but the remainder plus the profits from her summer work weren’t quite enough to swing the full second year. Even with a part time job at college, she was in danger of not being able to afford the second semester without dipping into the money she kept in reserve for general use. Even then it’d be close.
So when she found a flyer describing a simple experiment in need of volunteers, and compensation for that experiment, it seemed like just what she needed.

At 5’6”, Acheri Solomon does not look particularly menacing. She would have to really, really work at it to look anything approaching intimidating, and it still probably wouldn’t work. She’s a little too short, a little too slim, and a little too friendly-looking for that. The smile perpetually adorning her attractively strong face (which only gets wider when she’s around her friends) is as infectious as anything the med students handle, and there is no vaccine. The eyes above that grin are a deep, deep green, with black hair that falls down to her shoulders framing them. Her skin is a little lighter than her mother’s, but her heritage is unmistakable. Another trait she inherited from her mother is a very faint cleft in the chin; though it's barely noticeable, it's another mark of her ancestry.

If you met her at a lecture, for example, you’d meet the Acheri that shows up early, pays attention through the whole lecture, and actively questions and discusses ideas that fascinate her. If you met her in transit to class, you’d find her a little distant albeit very friendly. Less like she doesn’t want to talk to you, more like her thoughts are somewhere else. During one of her training sessions, on the other hand, she would come across as downright fiery. The truth is somewhere in the middle of all of these, and depends on who you are and where she is.
Acheri is energetic, passionate, and eager when it comes to subjects and people that fascinate her. This means that her professors and friends all see a huge degree of energy, while people that don’t know her just… Don’t. That’s not to say she dislikes strangers. Strangers may not be friends, but they’re people too and deserving of all the empathy that status entails. They are, on the other hand, people she doesn’t know and has no real personal attachment too. The brunt of her energy is best suited for people who are willing to accept and return her enthusiasm; namely, friends, family, and some colleagues. Everybody else gets the Acheri that’s just as friendly, but a lot more calm and laid back. Though given her penchant for doing absolutely nothing on days she has off, if you know her well enough she’ll loop right back around to calm again. Her energy really is very situational.

No, if something is wrong and you know it’s wrong you’d better damn well do something about it. ‘Bystander syndrome’ is an abhorrent concept in her eyes, and one she actively strives to defy. Conviction is critical, even if Acheri can be more than a little outspoken in her own. After all, what’s right is right and it doesn’t matter if the right thing is the unpopular thing. It’s still the right thing.
Unsurprisingly, views like hers come with a huge fondness for movies and TV shows about heroics, ranging from myths and legends to superhero shows. Soleil has green eyes that were once very much vibrant. They are more or less hazy now, with a look of being glossed over. She has long black hair that reaches her middle back and also extends over her left shoulder. Typically speaking, Soleil has very focused features, she is constantly listening to sounds in her area, smelling scents and touching different things around her. She stands at a meager five foot three and has a similar frame, save for her rather muscular thighs and calves. She has a noticeably pointed relaxed look on her face when she is at all aware of her surroundings or when she has her headphones on. She has a look of nirvana when cooking or playing music.
Her voice is a soft and quiet one, rarely breaking through the mess of everyday life. Soleil's gait in an unconfident one, given that she doesn't know if she's about to walk into someone or something. This is somewhat rectified by her guiding pole, but even with it she is nervous about hitting others with it. She is non-confrontational expect when she is extremely comfortable with a given person or situation, in which case she is rather snarky and even a little mean, but only in the kindest ways.

Soleil is a rather quiet girl, rarely mincing words on conversation. She has been known to grow quite fond of others it’s just that she shows her fondness in less talkative ways. Where one person may compliment someone, Soleil would rather just hug them. Where someone else may ask someone to hang out, Soleil doesn’t ask she just follows that person around. Because of Soleil’s inability to see at all she can often be found leaning on someone, holding someone’s hand or with her guide cane. Soleil is often surprisingly well dressed given her lack of sight, this is more or less muscle memory and trial and error as she was not blind her entire life, thusly she does have some notion of where things belong both on her body and otherwise.
Soleil is a gifted pianist, violinist and cello player as she has trained all of her life. While her ability in music has suffered since losing her vision, she is still able to play pieces that she learns, learning is just slowed by her inability to read sheet music as she plays. She must start and stop in order to read sheet music when she is learning a piece which she finds incredibly frustrating. Soleil has become an incredibly fast reader in the time that she has learned braille able to read complete novels in fairly any time at all.
Often times Soleil can be found wearing a school uniform, which consists of a dress shirt, tie, skirt, and larger jumper that she wears overtop. However, commonly she is found in a large over-the-shoulder sweater and a pair of jeans. This is what she wears in most casual events. Soleil is nearly never found without her large, over-the-ear headphones as well. While many think this is a poor idea as she is already down one sense, she prefers being in a state of not relying on anything and through her headphones she can surround herself in sound in a way that she believes is impossible for someone with eyesight. The phrase: ‘don’t jinx it’ has always been a strange one. As if talking about one’s good fortune too much could somehow ruin it, whatever cosmic force had gifted them could bring them right back down. Soleil was always talked about in her parents’ circles. The pill Soleil took gave her the ability to manipulate sound. This has many different applications and effects on Soleil. The first effect that took place is an extreme case of Chromesthesia. Chromesthesia is a type of synesthesia in which heard sounds automatically and involuntarily evoke an experience of colour. For Soleil, every single note and sound has a different colour. However how these colours present themselves to her are completely different than typical Chromesthesia. As Soleil lacks the ability to see because of her cataracts she sees through this Chromesthesia. Essentially painting the world in a hyper colour. While she can make out shapes of things that make sound, she cannot see any detail – like a marking on a page or a road sign. This is also limited by the fact that the thing she is seeing actively must have sound bouncing off of it for her to see it. She is also limited in the way that her picture is often times incomplete and is only able to perceive the general area in which the sound originates and subsequently bounces off of. Because of this she also has an incredibly easy time attaining perfect pitch, as she not only hears the sound but sees the colour that sound produces. Making her instrumentation much simpler. This is simply the passive effect of being able to manipulate sound.
When Soleil places her headphones on her ears she is able to perceive frequencies, and soundwaves, they appear to her like threads traveling from a point of origin from any sound to any possible bouncing point. By snapping her finger, Soleil creates a soundwave that travels in a circular motion outwards from herself, essentially creating a way in which for her to see her surroundings. When Soleil sees a soundwave or creates one, she may, for lack of a better term, ride it. In order to do this Soleil essentially carries herself with the sound she is manipulating – thusly traveling at the speed of sound. This has many adverse drawbacks, however. Most notably Soleil is only able to see as far as the soundwaves reach, as mentioned before. As such when she travels on a soundwave she doesn’t know where she is headed yet without someone helping her out, her target creating sound for her to see, or some ulterior fashion of sensing her target. This can lead to catastrophic circumstances as Soleil is very much flying blind while she is riding a soundwave. While Soleil is manipulating the sound around her body and using sound as a medium in order to transport her body she is immune to air friction and whiplash when coming out of these speeds, as she essentially moves by vibrating her molecules. This allows her to avoid any unfortunate and deadly effects to her supersonic movement. It also allows her to use this riding of soundwaves in a limited but notably offensive manner, in which she can release high speed kicks and punches. However, she has to limit herself as riding soundwaves is extremely strenuous as vibrating one’s whole body is akin to a half an hour full body workout for every second that would take place.

Name: Eastwood Trainwreck Evans ("East")

In-Depth Appearance: While perhaps a little on the big side for a running back (and, at 6'2 and 170 pounds, the big side for any non-athlete), his size and muscular build ensure that not many people dare to start something with Eastwood. He tends to make even his characteristic blue jeans, white t-shirt, and brown leather jacket look tight-fitting, and his bowlegged swagger almost calls to mind a fighter pilot or a cowboy (which is a fair comparison) instead of the march of a football player. Even if his walk is slightly wide, however, he still carries himself with the grace and confidence of an upperclassman athlete - back straight, chin tilted up slightly, and megawatt grin shining.
His grin is what captures most of the attention on his face; with a golden tan, dark blue eyes and chestnut hair, Eastwood's smile is usually the only spot of pearl white that can be found on his strong features. His nose looks recast; it's been broken twice in his lifetime, once since he got to college. He's been considering growing a beard to hide a small scar on the right side of his chin, but loses his nerve more often than not. Currently he's grown a long pair of sideburns and shaved most of the rest, so you would only be aware of his facial hair efforts if you were close enough for him to put his chin on your head or against your skin - in which case you would feel the faint scratching sensation of a weekend beard, a softer, sandier brown than the hair on his head.
Personality: Eastwood is an amiable, strapping young buck, not too far off from the stereotype minted by Bonanza, Gunsmoke, or any of the old John Wayne movies. With a smile on his face much of the time, you would be hard-pressed to find a time when he was genuinely in a sour mood or venting his anger at someone. Such occasions of bad temper are reserved for the football field, where no one holds back on anyone else or cares about their problems. Such an arena is where the competitive young cowboy feels most at home.
Having grown up under an unpredictable and untrustworthy father who often traveled, Eastwood spent a childhood having to make new friends rapidly and losing track of them just as fast. With that in mind, his personality can often seem adaptable to some, as he charms and cajoles people into a friendly relationship with regularity. While sincere and open-hearted, he nonetheless has learned not to allow himself to be hurt by people, and is not above shutting himself off to someone he feels may be able to break past his good ol' boy defenses and inflict an emotional blow.
When not found on the football field or in a gym, Eastwood can often be found during the daylight hours running around campus, sunbathing, or at a good place to eat with friends. He is a bit of a night owl, and tends to hit the books best with a pair of headphones on and a good bottle of bourbon (drinking age is the best thing that has ever happened to the cowboy) beside him on the desk. These quiet moments of studying are the only times when he does not like to be disturbed.
Background: Twenty-one years ago, on a night filled with awful clouds and bad omens, a young baby was born in the passenger's seat of a Chevrolet Chevelle without a muffler. His father was a wino and traveling acoustic musician; his mother was a nurse with dreams of California; crossing through the ghost town of Bradshaw, Texas (population 61) the most violent thunderstorm to strike Texas in a decade heralded the young man's birth before they could reach anywhere properly outfitted to deliver an infant. Coincidentally, four counties away from the stretch of road that was the infant's delivery room, a train went violently off track and lost half a million dollar's worth of cargo. Miraculously, there was only one casualty, but the wreck was so severe that it delayed the baby's arrival at a local hospital until dawn. By then, word of the accident had spread through the small towns in the area.
Drunk off dreams of fatherhood and Wal-Mart wine, the baby was named Eastwood Trainwreck Evans by the musician, who promptly found himself homeless and carless when the nurse recovered and took his Chevelle all the way to California. His infant's name had already proved prophetic.
Growing up, East exhibited a cheerful, incandescent energy that made him friends but got him into bucket loads of trouble wherever he went. A string of disciplinary problems and playground injuries formed a little bread crumb trail through Eastwood's record throughout primary school until his sixth grade year. Seeing rightly that his precocious little tyke needed an outlet to work off some energy before he found himself too far off the straight and narrow path, Eastwood found himself enrolled in a local Pop Warner program and began committing himself to keeping in shape and staying out of trouble. The pressure for his starting job inspired a little bit of discipline in the once-rowdy little cowboy - not much, but enough for him to get off the path of delinquency before it started.
Eastwood started football at his high school and proved himself to be a great football player, albeit perhaps not one that was likely to go pro or anything. He decided to major in sports medicine while he went to college and joined the football team on the strength of a scholarship that paid for most, but not all of his tuition. Now in his junior year of college and his second year of starting, Eastwood's grades began slipping slightly as he devoted most of his time to football and he started going into higher and higher tier classes academically.
In fear of losing part, or all, of his scholarship, Eastwood - seeking a career based in a science and some cash for next semester - soon came across an offer that had just what he was looking for. Deciding that the experiment he was briefed on was worth the risk (both to his person and on a potential drug test in the future) has brought him to where he is today.

He has the tendency to puff one of his cheeks grumpily when people refer to him as a child. He is lighthearted by nature and can easily laugh at both jokes and things he simply finds to be amusing. Samuel likes his family a lot, considering his older sister and parents to be both his best friends and mentors. He never mentions much about himself and focuses on people around him usually as a result of his willingness to stay out of "spotlights."

When his father got ripped off big time from a large aerospace engineering project, Samuel found himself working his own fair share of labor, taking on a variety of part-time jobs simultaneously to gather money to attend college, thus developing a good work ethic in him. Though the family is very steadily paying off some debts, Samuel continues to try out different jobs in the university such as journalism and photography, considering them to be both his hobbies and talents. A certain scientific experiement drew him in when he heard of a good sum of money being offered in exchange for participating in it.

Eurig (Pronounced: AY-rig) Blevins

Personality:
A lot of people tend to tell him that he seems distant because they can’t tell what he’s thinking. More than half the time, however, he really isn’t thinking about anything and just staring blankly ahead of him. When an idea comes to him, however, he acts on it immediately without much forewarning so his actions do seem random. After having this quirk pointed it out to him (multiple times), he is trying to work on at least letting people know why he’s suddenly getting up mid-conversation to do something.
Eurig is comfortable with silence between conversations so he doesn’t find the need to attempt to fill in the gaps himself. If someone does take it upon themselves to keep talking, they would be pleasantly surprised to find that he actually enjoys meaningless small talk and is honest to a fault.
There are occasions where he’s been suspected to have ADD, mostly due to his ‘sporadic’ behavior, but a professional diagnosis showed that he shows great focus towards tasks at hand. And rather, it is when there is a lack of something for him to do that he lets himself zone out and take distractions as they appear. In fact, he is quite a good listener and can lend a proper ear to anyone that wants to vent without being judged differently for a moment of weakness/anger. That said, if someone wants him to keep things a secret they better make it very clear that it’s a secret. Leaving things implied that their conversation was confidential means that he’ll probably let things slip without even knowing he’s done something bad.
Background:
Eurig is the older-middle child of a surprisingly rowdy family consisting of his parents and 3 other siblings (1 older, 2 younger). His father just being the average salaryman and his mother a kind house wife, they never grew up with much financial trouble but it was a given that his parents couldn’t foot the bill to send all their kids to college. To make things fair, the family had a policy of just providing enough money for the first year of tuition. Each child was responsible for earning the rest of their way into graduation.
With Eurig’s personality it’s was quite difficult for him to get a part-time job… Most employers turned him away right at the interview. However, he did actually manage to succeed by working part-time in the customer service department for major phone companies. How? He worked in the complaints line; handling all the angry calls people made about the defective product and/or horrible service they received. Being a high-stress job, the wage was good and Eurig was able to let the angry voices just roll right off of him by the time his shift was done.
Things were good for a while, but unfortunately he ended up being fired for habitual tardiness (even though he would always get ready with time to spare, he often got distracted on the way there) and decided to let some of their more gung-ho interviewees have a chance at his position. Several months and many rejection calls later, even Eurig grew worried about the lack of funds in his bank account. While he knew that his family would gladly lend him some money to help him get through things until he found another job, he felt embarrassed about being the only jobless sibling (yes, even his two younger siblings in high school had part-time jobs) and wanted to find a way to keep himself afloat…

Gender: Male
Personality: Gareth is hopeless. He's smart, but hopelessly apathetic. He's clumsy beyond measure always manages to be in the wrong at the wrong time. He's found himself always bored with reality and escaping into literature. That being said, he's always found people and characters interesting. He's written, "When you read a story, you read for the characters. Life is the same way, the people are far more interesting than any phenomenon." So, he's recently made attempts to get to know people, and failed. Something about acute laziness makes it hard to maintain friends. Despite this, he's vowed to be more outgoining when he arrives at Uni.
Background: Gareth was born to a lower middle-class family in Iowa. His town was slowly dying, cruelly kept alive by a large job-providing factory. With a personality that didn't lend itself to making friends easily and workaholic parents, Gareth spent most of his childhood lost in fictitious worlds. Gareth saw the heroes in his books and movies and envied them. They would always be remebered. For reasons a quick google search couldn't explain, Gareth developed a crippling fear of being forgotten.
So he began to write. Writing was the only way Gareth figured he could make his mark on the world. He never really got anywhere with writing, and before he knew it, Senior year was upon him. He chose Straider for the explicit reason that it was the farthest away from Clinton, Iowa. He now plans to make as many friends as possible.

Powers I wouldn't mind: Suggestion: "'Mind control' is such a barbaric term. I'm not forcing them to do anything, I'm just very convincing." Conjuring: "With my mind I can create fucking swords! Or chairs. Or shirts or walls or...anything really. But swords are the coolest." The ability to conjure any non-organic material or item for a limited amount of time or with minimal durability. Hypothetically speaking, he could pour a large amount of energy into the conjuration of a single item to make it last significantly longer.
Location Swapping: "It's a matter of simplicity. If I want to be there, and you want be here, then great? If I want to be there but you also want to be there? Too bad." The ability to switch locations with any person or object that is either within the users line of sight or that the user knows the exact location of.

Prudence "Rue" Rineheart
Appearance: Rue stands at 5'8'' and weighs 124 lbs. She has long, blonde hair that falls to her shoulders. She has light, blue eyes and a fair complexion. She isn't athletic, so her physique, while slim, shows no muscle. She has a tribal art tattoo on her left leg from her knee to her ankle.

Gender: Female
Personality: Rue is a headstrong, driven, and often times stubborn individual with incredible artistic talent. She knows she is good, but knows there is always room for improvement. She has her beliefs and she sticks to them no matter the obstacle placed in front of her. This has often led to her being in trouble with authority for speaking her mind. Despite this, she maintains a good grade point average and is very bright in her studies.
She is friendly, but she doesn't go out of her way to make friends. While she may smile at other students in the hallway or say hello to someone she knows, she doesn't strive to be the center of attention at the party. She is much more comfortable standing in the corner, dancing by herself, than talking to a group of people.
Along with being stubborn, she doesn't back down from a challenge. Growing up with three older brothers has forced her to be able to defend herself in extreme circumstances. She is tough and willing to take a bully down a peg if they are asking for it. She doesn't go around defending everyone she sees, but sometimes it's important to be the hero.
Above all, Rue does care about those she is close to, whether it's her friends or her family. If you want to mess with them, you better watch out for the blonde bombshell coming at you.
Background: The youngest child in the Rineheart household, Prudence was born to Hector and Isabelle and was named after her great grandmother (to this day, she still hates her name). Being the only girl in the household besides her mother has forced Prudence to grow up a bit faster than most would have wanted. At constant odds with her brothers, she learned to defend herself against their ever growing list of pranks and fights. Using her brains over her brawn, she was able to outmaneuver her brothers and manage to survive the onslaught of gas and B.O.
Prudence discovered her artistic talents at a young age when her 4th grade teacher made a mention of it during a parent-teacher conference. Her teacher encouraged her abilities and they slowly spread from colored pictures, to paint, to sketches. It wasn't until Prudence got to sketching in 7th grade that she finally found her niche. Her love for her pencil and sketch pad grew through high school and she devoted much time to improving her skills, hoping to one day enter the art field as an in-demand artist. Knowing full well the art field is cut-throat and demanding, this didn't leave her much time to enjoy high school, go to parties, date, or attend school dances. This led to her being considered an outcast by her peers. She wasn't avoided, but no one really went out of their way to talk to her. Prudence didn't care about that. She had her close set of friends and that was all she needed.
Her senior year of high school was a bumpy one when she started voicing her opinions more often. She made many a teacher mad by her views on different topics like religion, politics, and especially gender issues. She was sent to detention more times than not because she didn't agree with the view points and wouldn't be quiet about it. She also joined a few protests and rallies to continue voicing her opinions. Her parents, while supportive, urged her to hold back. She would not listen.
If it wasn't for her guidance counselor, Ms. Samuels, she probably would still protest to this day and would not have attended Straider University. Her art skills were very much improved. Her parents worried about her going to school so far away, and knowing they didn't have much money to send her there, Prudence fought hard and managed to nab an art scholarship. Though it paid for a chunk of tuition, it wasn't a full ride. She ended up picking a part-time job to make ends meet and make sure she was fed constantly. She hated working retail, but it paid the bills.
It wasn't until she saw the poster offering money for research that she decided to quit her job and participate. Little did she know how it would change her life and open herself up to something she never would have expected. It's time to be the hero again.

Lux is a generally withdrawn person, he isn't overly fond of being in the spotlight. Having always been known as the quiet brother, with Castor being the outgoing one. He knows what he's good at and likes to stick to it, so much so that he isn't very adventurous or brave when it comes to anything new. Then again, he wasn't known as the brave brother either, he is the cautious one. Always thinking rather than doing, he's terrible for over-analysing things.

When he utilizes his powers his body releases large doses of the chemical stimulants epinephrine and norepinephrine (Stress hormones) this natural reaction stimulates the mutated blood cells and causes the neon gas to seep out of his skin. At the same time it causes the mutated sodium-potassium gates within his system to open and send strong low voltage electrical pulses through his nervous system stimulating the neon gas to glow an orange-reddish color.
In order to utilize his powers Lux needs to get worked up, an adrenaline rush is the only way to get his power to kick start. Even a small amount of adrenaline can get him 'fired' up meaning it is increasingly difficult for him to keep his power under wraps. The stronger the adrenaline rush the brighter he glows and the more effective his abilities are.
If Lux envelopes himself in neon gas, not only does he become a neon torch, he can also 'run on air' and move at high speeds, though the entire show is rather flashy and a solo trip, he can't transport other people with this ability. Very level headed, he knows there's a lot to learn when you don't always jump the gun, that's not to say he's not had his shadier moments, and some things bring out a darker side in him. Some times his depression gets the best of him and he can't tolerate to talk to people.

Most of his memories are of his friends in those hoods but they never stuck around long, always one home to the next. When he was 13, he started hanging out with a few drug dealers and made some money, eventually making enough to buy his own apartment. Then, shit hit the fan. One of the older kids, who Ambrose had given the money to, so he could even purchased the apartment, had slowly grew jealous of Ambrose and had him beat down on his way home from school one day.
For a while he didn't believe it. He couldn't believe his eyes. These were his friends, the people he thought cared for him. Who he would have done anything for, regardless of money or how wrong some shit seemed. Sometimes things just had to be done. Ambrose did not cry, he didn't fall to the ground and accept his demise like some little boy who's daddy just wasn't coming to dust his ass off after he got pushed over. And so he fought as they pushed him down the ally, and when they went to jump him he lashed out knocking one his old friends out with an elbow, but there were to many of them. That night they smashed his face against the concrete so hard he could have sworn he could hear his mother's voice, another smash, and it was gone. He eventually recovered and when he finally graduated high school he got a job and saved up enough to get himself into a real college, this was his first year there and he still had yet to figure out what his major would be in, hopefully a department that accepted the tattoos and piercings.

Every pound of Gō packs a proverbial punch.

He is a man who very firmly believes in the value of assisting others and setting a good example for the generations to come after him. In short he prides himself on being the kind of person that anyone can count on. It matters little to him who the other person might be, just that they are someone in need of help and he will be more than willing to provide that assistance. He’s a man that always strives to protect those he can as though they were his own flesh and blood little siblings.
However when he’s not doing his best to help and teach others, Gō can be found gushing over old super hero stories, particularly Tokusatsu shows like Kamen Rider. From when he was young, he dreamed of being a hero himself, although as he got older he realized more and more how difficult that was in a traditional sense. By the time he had graduated High School, he’d made peace with the fact that his time to be a superhero had passed, and thus he focused his passion for justice towards a different field. As such he is currently finishing up his Pre-Law degrees, in particular he’s working towards his major in Criminal Justice. His reasoning being that if he can’t find justice with his own two fists, he’ll find it with his mind through the legal path.

Masamune Gō was born to a fairly typical situation. He was the son of two first generation immigrants and born and raised in Midwestern suburbs. Much of his youth was spent enjoying all forms of entertainment, and thanks to his heritage, he was in the unique situation of enjoying both American and Japanese entertainment. He’d be one of those few kids that knew Super Sentai as well as he knew Power Rangers. G-Gundam was just as much his jam as Megas XLR. Initial D and Need For Speed: Underground both competed for his attention as great racing games, although Initial D had the benefit of being a good show as well. Really if a show or game had heroes in it he’d probably enjoyed it.
That said the biggest love for Gō was always Toku shows, particularly Kamen Rider. He grew up with Kuuga and his love has persisted to this days. Something about the ideals of justice and the kick ass suits really resonated with the young boy. For years Gō secretly dreamed of becoming a hero like them one day, although High School would eventually crush that dream. Still much of Gō’s unwavering hope and belief in human life comes from his years watching, reading and playing media involving heroes.
Outside of yearly trips to visit his cousins in Japan, Gō’s life was fairly ordinary. He did alright in school and was decently athletic, but for all intents and purposes he was just an ordinary kid. He hung out with friends on the weekends and helped out around the house. Normal stuff. Although one slight difference Gō had to reconcile with from a young age was being the caretaker of his younger siblings, since his parents were often busy with work. Still even that wasn’t insanely difficult, but it did allow Gō to grow up a little more responsible than the rest of his friends.
It wasn’t until his middle school years that Gō was introduced to the realm of boxing. Through what basically amounted to luck, one of Gō’s friends invited him to the club he had recently begun working out at. Originally Gō, who wasn’t all that interested in athletics, merely figured he'd duck his head in to appease his friend and then be on his way. However after just a few minutes of messing around Gō found that he actually enjoyed being in an environment where everyone was pushing themselves. By the end of the day, Gō was a member of the club.
Gradually Gō improved and he quickly got into shape as his dedication to the sport increased. The somewhat aimless boy, finally found himself with a direction and realized how much he loved that feeling. Boxing brought structure to the boy’s life and he began participating in tournaments and competitions in his local area. Truth be told it wasn’t so much the fighting that brought Gō joy, but the discipline and the exhilaration of competing with another in a 1 on 1 situation. There was something about it that just captivated him.
Outside of boxing however, Gō was still lacking in motivation. In many ways he was still that carefree daydreamer who just wanted to be a hero. As a result while he never did poorly perse, there was little in school he wanted to invest himself in. This continued for some time. Even as the rest of his friends started formulating plans for their life, Gō remained at a loss. It wasn’t until High School that a new avenue would open up for him.
The path towards his future opened up while at the gym when Gō was training for an upcoming match. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, just a regular day. However as night approached the gym grew empty except for Gō and his trainer, and then a clattering noise was heard at the back door. Turns out the noise was the result of a young man breaking into the gym and to make matters worse he was armed. As he yelled at Gō’s trainer to head over the money, Gō felt it was finally his chance to be a hero.
He was wrong.
Lucky for him, before the amateur boxer could do anything reckless, his trainer had stuck out a hand. As the two of the stood there, Gō’s path blocked by the man Gō was trying to protect, his trainer said something that’s stuck with Gō to this day. “Listen up kid, don’t try and be a hero, work towards a cure. Ending up dead won’t help anyone.”
On that day, Gō learned that his fists wouldn’t reach, but they didn’t always have to. Not long afterwards the robber was caught, tried and arrested. It turned out he was a repeat felon, who had only recently been released from prison. For Gō this only served to provide further meaning to the words of his trainer, what this society didn’t need was him jumping in and getting himself killed, it needed a legal system that worked. The cure his trainer had been talking about was a system where people didn’t find themselves backed into corners where crime became the only escape they saw.
It was on that day that Gō decided his future.
From then on, Gō found himself driven in another facet of his life. He worked hard to bring his grades up, showing an unwavering dedication to his final goal of eventually getting into a top rate law school. When graduation finally rolled around, Gō’s grades were the best they’d ever been and he found himself with a hefty merit scholarship to Straider University. After looking into the Pre-Law program, Gō figured it’d be a good place to get his bachelor’s. Not to mention they apparently had a decent boxing club.
During the past few years at Straider, Gō found himself constantly helping others, not that he minded. Meanwhile he steadily progressed through his classes on track for his eventual goal of getting into a top rate Law School. During his third year he also became captain of the school’s boxing club, which is a title he currently holds. All things considered his life up till now has been progressing smoothly. While normally not one to participate in studies that involve the digestion of substances that could affect his performance, Gō decided to partake in Rohrbach’s study after Eastwood asked for a wingman.
Gō’s life is about to get complicated once more.
That said the biggest love for Gō was always Toku shows, particularly Kamen Rider. He grew up with Kuuga and his love has persisted to this days. Something about the ideals of justice and the kick ass suits really resonated with the young boy. For years Gō secretly dreamed of becoming a hero like them one day, although High School would eventually crush that dream. Still much of Gō’s unwavering hope and belief in human life comes from his years watching, reading and playing media involving heroes.
Outside of yearly trips to visit his cousins in Japan, Gō’s life was fairly ordinary. He did alright in school and was decently athletic, but for all intents and purposes he was just an ordinary kid. He hung out with friends on the weekends and helped out around the house. Normal stuff. Although one slight difference Gō had to reconcile with from a young age was being the caretaker of his younger siblings, since his parents were often busy with work. Still even that wasn’t insanely difficult, but it did allow Gō to grow up a little more responsible than the rest of his friends.
It wasn’t until his middle school years that Gō was introduced to the realm of boxing. Through what basically amounted to luck, one of Gō’s friends invited him to the club he had recently begun working out at. Originally Gō, who wasn’t all that interested in athletics, merely figured he'd duck his head in to appease his friend and then be on his way. However after just a few minutes of messing around Gō found that he actually enjoyed being in an environment where everyone was pushing themselves. By the end of the day, Gō was a member of the club.
Gradually Gō improved and he quickly got into shape as his dedication to the sport increased. The somewhat aimless boy, finally found himself with a direction and realized how much he loved that feeling. Boxing brought structure to the boy’s life and he began participating in tournaments and competitions in his local area. Truth be told it wasn’t so much the fighting that brought Gō joy, but the discipline and the exhilaration of competing with another in a 1 on 1 situation. There was something about it that just captivated him.

Gō is ambidextrous, although prefers to box as a southpaw. He also speaks both Japanese and English fluently, although reading kanji gives him a little bit of trouble.
