With the offering of rebellion presented I shouldn't be surprised everyone seems ready to jump ship for a mysterious ancient vampire. A vampire, who we should compare to Victoire for a moment:

Will not trust her subordinates to have the free will to act against her intentions and ensure mechanism to control them.

Shall consider you a food source until proven otherwise.

And will find new and inspired ways to violate you that even Fran would find too demeaning.

Is blatantly aligned with cosmic horrors outside the Nexus seeking the ruin of everything done since anyone stepped foot in the Nexus

So to speak on behalf of the Three Factions defense and, indeed, the eternal conflict in general, here's a few pros to balance out the cons:

One, fighting is your job. Professional Soldiers, to put a label on it, and like every job it exists to sustain you. Is it really a horrible thing to ask the people who have wildly destructive powers which excel in inflicting harm on others to then use those powers on other factions, in exchange for whatever it is they need to enjoy their immortal lives? Henry and Victoire live in castles, the Angels have a captial city were even the slums could be made of polished marble and gold, and the Machina can fabricate basically anything you can think of. Not to mention the spoils of war you take home after the battle...

Second, let's say peace is achieved, then what? Danmaku duels and inter faction orgies settle everything as they prance through fields of wild flowers and bunnies? Let us not forget that the factions and its people, in general, are opposed to their enemies in ways of ideology, temperament, and culture. That they share commonality in their arrogance and avarice isn't going to do much to bind them together. Even though individuals may get along, as neighboring nations they would have a great deal of enmity towards one another even if they weren't actively fighting.

Third, would the PCs really be able to live in peace? Over countless years of conflict they have all the moral restraint of Charles Manson and while I doubt Omega or the Maid Twins would have trouble living on the straight and narrow, expecting the Demons to stop raping and pillaging is a bit much. And when you have high and mighty angels proclaiming their greatness from the heavens, mankind is going to get a bit miffed when a Laguna steps on a city and treats it will all the severity of trodding on ants.

Its like watching a star think its getting dizzy and halting its own rotation. The catastrophic end result is only on the one halting the momentum.

But that's me speaking for the Faction Leaders. Do what you must.

Henry has so far been a bit too shy for that.

A greed demon too shy to steal? That sounds more like Henry's issues then Miyu's.

@Lonewolf685 But it looks like Fran's might give him some lessons soon, so maybe it'll work out.

That's why Henry ought to join with Krieg and the Machina. Get him that rocket and conquer space for the Machina.

Krieg doesn't want nor plans to pursue peace. He's going to this battle to recruit people who might be seeking a faction change, as well as test out the abilities of the suit. The closest thing to peace would be total Machina domination in the Nexus, and we all know that would be a path of blood and hardships.

Fran is probably more inclined to peace but as you said, more along the lines of damaku battles and festive orgies. She ain't got the political clout or powerful enough magic to brainwash entire factions into being all peace and happiness. She just want a free loving future, since you can rape anyone anytime.

So, there it's. The gimmick of this battle is that (even before the Revanchist movements began) this battle was planned in a way that factions mean little to nothing in the long run. By the end of it those who aren't happy with their current leadership can easily change sides, and relationships formed within the dungeon might become more real than those well established ones.

And, who knows, maybe those who struggle enough can even get that which was lost in return for the memories they shed.

Since these are Victoire's Roses, are they doing the normal dissolving acid clouds or is this just hallucinogenic?

I'll be on a cruise next week and I have no internet access during that time, so as a result Sliske and Syphax will not be entering the dungeon until I return from it.

Victoire has a lot of different types of roses, the effect of them just depends on the color of those she uses. The thing is that, up to now she never had time or reason to use anything more than her red ones. Mainly because all of them take certain time to use and people are generally dumb enough to die to the red roses, there's no reason fer her to use any more complex tactics than the one that works.

@KoL Heh, this'll be a fun dungeon for Alexi.

Helena: "And now I will steal your memories and sense of self!"

Alexi: "Our what now?"

Helena: "You know, your memories? The things you remember?"

Alexi: "What?"

Helena: "...And, you know, your sense of self, how you make decisions and have a will?"

Alexi: "That doesn't sound like something we do very often. But we wouldn't know!"

Helena: "... Do you want your memories back or not?"

Alexi: "My what?"

Helena: "Ok, eldtrich horror, just eat this one."

Also, question everybody. This is supposed to be a last man standing fight... But why exactly are we fighting? I mean, we're all coming here to find Helena, so, is there any reason to actually attack one another?

Remember the part about to lose is to find and to find is to lose? If Alexi went there, she would end up getting a lot more of mental clarity than you are trying to make it sound like. This is supposed to help your characters develop as they explore their minds, not the contrary.

Or so was the original idea.

In other words, if you have Alexi go there, her own backstory has plenty of information for us to use in that Dungeon. Whether she grows from it or not, is you choice as is the very act of adding her to the battle.

Also, question everybody. This is supposed to be a last man standing fight... But why exactly are we fighting? I mean, we're all coming here to find Helena, so, is there any reason to actually attack one another?

Read the text right and you'll see that you don't. That said, the victory conditions are for anyone who wants to be considered victorious, otherwise his will be just a draw.

Furthermore, would you trust your worst enemy to not stab you in the back as soon as both of you are done with the thing that unifies you, if you give them the chance to?

Pretty much that. You can also gain something that you didn't lost but you'll still have to lose something that you have in order to do so.

Henry's problem is despite all he has he doesn't have meaning to his life. What little meaning he has is pointless as he gets thrashed by every opponent he faces. Sure he has money and castles and endless weapons, but it all feels empty to him. What do his actions change? What does he fight for besides a paycheck and the hope that maybe his boss will like him for the month that she's around before she's overthrown. He doesn't fight for his friends, he views most of the demons as either stupid, aggravating, or he's just plain indifferent to them. He doesn't really fight for money as he can now just create anything he wants with Silver Eye bullshit. Fighting is cool and all, it's a lot of fun sometimes even. Hell, if he was winning than he probably wouldn't even be going through this existential crisis. But he's not, he's a titan fighting in an arena of Gods. So he wonders why.
