I am currently busy organizing events elsewhere and also preparing for a trip of few days.
People are still welcome to post their NS here and keep collaborating to form nice backstories with each other.

You also have assault rifles, radios and consider bolt-action rifles as low grade instead of the opposite.
As I said rather than weird WW2, think of this as post American Civil War era with some techs which wouldn't look out of place in Wild Wild West.

Ya, planes arent out of thw question though, the wont be as powerful as normal planes, but they will be doable. I am planning to ad gatling guns to my airships. Maybe make smaller more maneuverable versions.

I am thinking something weird yet strangely plausible.
For example an airplane propelled by steam-powered "jet engines" which also provide energy via a dynamo charging up a battery.
The plane would maneuver via using Aetherum-coated wings/elevators and pulling levers which alters the power of the current in them.
Weirdly complicated but that's what makes it steampunk.
