@Member 00492 With the Metal event starting soon, I'm glad we'll have Nth metal as part of Bulleteer's backstory. Specially since they seem to be retconning a lot of important items from the multiverse to have been made from it.

I was under the impression Hawkman was dead by the end of Death of Hawkman [a mini with Adam Strange co-starring] but then Metal has him warning the heroes about some oncoming threat. I was inspired to make the Bulletman/Bulleteer character a little more tied to the DCU, and originally his super serum [unknown fact: Bulletman was the 1st hero to get powers from a serum!] was going to be an offshoot of Hourman's Miraclo pills.

Powers:
Enhanced reflexes: Jim's only metahuman power is his inhumanly sharp hand eye coordination, which allows him to see and react to things at incredible speed. This has helped him become a superb driver.

Expert martial artist: Jim is an excellent hand to hand combat fighter

The Bolt 3000: The Bolt 3000 is a high tech car crafted from a mix of New Gods technology and earth tech. It is a highly advanced vehicle that can reach incredible speeds and is equipped with loads of features. They are as follows.

Spiked tires for driving up steep surfaces and walls.

Anti gravity converters that allow the car to fly and jump over surfaces.

Super speed: on land the Bolt 3000 can hit a top speed of 600 mph and in the air its top flight speed is mach 1

Machine guns and laser guns for combat. The machine guns are equipped with normal, and rubber bullets for non lethal attacks.

Super tough body that can withstand firearms and explosions.
Weaknesses: Aside from his vehicle, Jim is just as vulnerable as normal human. His car while powerful will run low on power if it goes through a beating and utilizes it's laser weapons in excessive ways.
Appearance:

Character Evolution: His character arc is him learning that hero work isn't about branding and selling to the public.
BRIEF Bio: Jim Ryker was born to the famous race car driver Matt Ryker and from an early age Jim had a natural talent with cars. At age five he was reading adult books on vehicles and at age ten he was making his own radio controlled car models. His skill in vehicular engineering was above all of his peers in school and he had dreams of being both a race car driver and engineer for developing high speed vehicles.

As a child his favorite place to go was the go-kart track at the local amusement park in Central City where he would get a thrill from driving the mini race cars. After graduating high school with great grades, Jim went to college in Metropolis and made a good number of friends, one of which was an intern at the Wayne Corporation.

After he graduated Jim got a job as race car driver with Lex Corp, one of his sponsors and it wasn't long until he was approached by the heads of several large companies about a plan to have a hero of their own be a symbol of them giving back to the world. They had looked at his background and decided that he would be their choice. They gave him technology from the New Gods to use with earth tech to create a car with incredible power.

After taking the name Mr. Clutch, Jim set out to do hero work with Lex Corp and other companies as his sponsors.

Sample Post: Jim maneuvered the Bolt 2000 through the air as he open fired on on a group of thugs surrounding a couple and Jim would do whatever he could to help the two people. The sight of his car flying in the air and his car being equipped with machine guns made the criminals look up and point towards the car in terror. Jim as he speaks through the speakers of his incredible vehicle.

"Back away from the innocent civilians you scumbags! Otherwise you will have a taste of what kind of firepower corporate money can buy!" and as if on cue the criminals fled in terror and Jim laughed at the sight. When they were from sight, he landed his car on the ground and got out of the vehicle. He gave the couple a bow and smiled at them.

"I am grateful to help innocents in their time of need. Now before you go I must tell you that should ever need insurance for stolen or vandalized personal possessions then Lex Corp has a great and affordable plan. So if you ever need quality insurance then definitely consider Lex Corp's Lexcellence Insurance as your main option. Have a nice day and best wishes from your friendly protector Mr. Clutch" he said and then got back into his car and drove off.

"That was another job well done Mr. Clutch and a great pitch for Lex Corp's insurance program" he said to himself as drove towards the highway out of town at inane speeds.

"Damn I love my job."

@Member 00492 She doesn't really manipulate reality in any powerful ways. Its more shes nearly immune to reality warping herself. Unless you mean Reality Siphon? If your worried about the squeaking when squished and stuff, thats sort of a mixed bag if anything. A lot easier to put someone in a cage when you can squish them as flat as a pancake. lol

But basically hers are more defensive or penalties than anything super useful short of Reality Siphon. Let me know what you want changed though, I know shes a bit weird.

@Weird Tales If you're okay with changing Wayne Industries as a sponsor to Lex Corp I'd be game for this guy. The idea of a sponsored hero makes me think of Booster Gold on Smallville.



If you're game for switching to Lex Corp as a sponsor, you should use the bar hideout name from DCU Online for the insurance name: Lexcellence Insurance.

@Archmage MC I think I mentioned the power cap a couple pages back for original characters being 6-7 powers tops with no power subsets. I like the idea of toon-like powers it's just they always come off as super powerful with way too many power subsets and defenses. Knock it down to 6 or 7 base powers and keep her toon themed and we could work with her. Part of her evolution could be gaining more defensive abilities or something...

@Member 00492Yup Gyspsy. I have her pretty much done I just haven't written out the sample post and some minor tweaks to the bio. I'm half thinking to just put one of my old post where i used her among two other DC characters who I plan on using later if possible, but i feel like that's a cop out. There's also the fact that my writing has changed since then.

Just notifying you that I changed the image at the beginning of the character sheet to an image I liked more; in addition to that, I made it so the bonding gas for Vic's mask changes his clothing color as well as his hair color. They're just minor changes, but I figured I'd bring it to your attention anyway.

@Member 00492 I chose Wayne Corp because I wanted to have a running joke with Batman on how Bruce Wayne's company decided to have a superhero of their own and they don't even know that Batman is using their money for his crime fighting operation as well.

Anyway I edited the cs if the Wayne Corp background still doesn't work.
