Katya/Kate/Taser would fall safely into the category of independent I think.

Like @ProPro's Anonymous, Taser would probably lean a bit towards the Consortium (business is good). The Covenant might not be far off either, but it depends on how logical their goals are to her (she's not a fan of bringing down massive amounts of heat without good reason).

Really though, I see her as quite mercenary in her outlook, if it serves her own interests and pays well (in gold, blood, or favors) she'd be willing to cross some factional boundaries other characters might not. Similarly, loyalty is all well and good, but she likes being alive.

I see her as more of an enforcer, rather than leader in the small band of merry Russians, so if things go well, she'll happily stick with them, but if required, she has little problems switching her group of friends. Even aiding a vigilante or understanding hero seems plausible for her given the right motivation (she's definitely not the sort of character that supports wanton destruction or violence).

Working with the PRT/Protectorate, would be something of a last resort (get out of jail card or trying to stay alive?).

Copping off of @Old Amsterdam, I'd say that Taser has been in the city for around a week or two, just enough time to see some sights before martial law was declared.

The above was a very roundabout way of saying that Taser could probably swing a lot of ways.

Ok, I have finished my first IC post. For those already in factions, I have provided a few faction-specific conversations for you to head to in order to get a better idea of your fellow parahumans.

For those outside of factions, you can go do your own thing in the city, or make your way to the rather inviting punch-up between the gangs. I'll leave that entirely up to you. Feel free to make whatever scuffles you guys want, as well. I much prefer reacting to player actions than trying to make my own, anyway, so the initial post always takes the longest for me to write - and usually has the least content.

I'm not sure if there was a plan in regards to an escort for Anonymous, but it might be an easy way to toss him and Taser together.

@Sickle-cell Little late since I haven't really had time to do much today, but just for future;

Robin/Automaton's been in Boston for almost a year at this point, spending most of her time see-sawing between tech robberies and interfering with crime. Most of what she does right now is just based around getting hold of new materials or picking fights to try and figure out how she needs to upgrade, so she's undoubtedly managed to annoy most of the factions in one way or another.

For now, I could see her being on the hook with Gladius in a 'I'll help you out if you let me do my own thing & don't murder me' type of deal. So she could get called in if they feel like it, but she's not a member or generally associated with them. Generally functions as an independent, but makes a convenient bit of extra muscle / potential scapegoat.

She wouldn't join any faction properly without some sort of catalyst, because that would require her to actively take control of her life instead of just going with the flow. Which isn't exactly something she ever does right now.

He's certainly welcome to try! I'd relish the opportunity to have Collin lecture him on the impossibility of sneaking up on a ma who always knows you're coming and has collected enough information on your company to have all its assets immediately seized by the government pending a full investigation. :P Bottom line in Collin's mind, he doesn't work for Maxwell, he works with Maxwell. As such he refuses to be treated as a lackey when he should be considered a business partner. Though I'm sure the Consortium higher ups feel quite different. :P

Is his power limited to Collin's hearing range, instead of his target's?
