The western island is certainly jam packed with all kinds of races, but from knowledge you don't have, the whole 2 people who started on the eastern island are pretty much on starter island: rivers and fertile farming fields, lush forests and grasslands teeming with prey.

Meanwhile the virgin western island has a massive acidic lake (jk, I'm still cracking up on Raylah's quip), arid grasslands and sparse forestation, a notable lack of rivers and the abundance of smaller hills to impede travel

Joking aside, everybody managed to avoid the bad parts of the eastern island, and the not bad parts are 10/10 spots. And one member I shall not name managed to pretty much get the start that equals double barb camp in Civ IV. Ouch. But don't worry, papa sly will help them out :D

No rush, we're only starting two days due to my IRL stuff anyways, so take your time

And finally, here's the "faction view" on the blank map, which I figured I might as well show since it's not exactly a big secret where people are, but I didn't write any names or display any helpful info other than the starter area. Looks like the west is going to be a real cauldron of races, hehe~
