Seeing the man, who Riye decided was named Lyxus, not give her a reply fast enough, she looked at Sasha "The name was Sasha, right? I'll have to put it into my Archives. And well, if you will be up for going on a job without him, let me know. I'll be fine either way. Just looking for a way to make money and enjoy myself while doing so." She said and then sent an annoyed look towards Lazarus before turning around and seeing Sho be kicked by MInerva.

Approaching the two, she looked a bit annoyed at Sho "I already get the feeling you like one of the things I greatly dislike. The name was Sho, right?" She asked him before looking at the woman "Hey there. My name is Riye, I just joined the guild. I hope you won't mind me saying this, but I hope you won't be kicking people around too much." Riye said and sent her a small smile, hoping she didn't take it the wrong way.

"Let her go. We can't have her in the guild, not at the moment. I have information I'd rather not have her find out. And if we have her here, I don't doubt that she would find it" She said, and then laughed wearily, "We seem to have more new members then we know what to do with lately. which reminds me I have to look through new jobs, see which ones to put up" A heavy sigh. "I don't need a break. I can't have a break now."

He set the lacrima down, and closed his eyes, "There's always someone having a good spar. You should return as soon as possible"
Penny listened, looking about them, went to speak up with Master Jamie said to let the blood mage go, but didn't. She frowned heavily, but kept quite. She sighed, and shifted, but glared at the woman. When it seemed the conversation was over, she said softly "Then we should go. Just seems like we are wasiting time now" She said, glancing to the train, and grimacing. She was tired of the train.

Kyo tried to block the hammer but was slipping and sliding around, making it hard to defend herself. At one point she slipped, and the temperature of the ground surprised her, luckily for Kyo she summoned another frying pan. Now she could block with one and try to hit with the other. She tried that a few times, it didn't really work out, she slid, a lot. And so Kyo got hit a few times and was well, still sliding, stupid ice floor.

Linda got up and steadied her feet she then through the bothered scythes past the wizards head into the wall catching his attention. She slipped while doing this but the chain caught her fall. The wizard made another ice hammer and started swing both at her, as she dogged with her moves and her portals. She then slipped again but her foot went up and hit him in the groin. He was still on his feet, grabbing his groin and then looked up giving her a murderous look.

the black mage advanced towards Galen, who can just barely hold back the furry of sword strikes, and strikes out with his own shadow. the shadow attacked hit Galen in the back and drew blood. how in the world is this fair?now he had to fight three mage (or is it 2.5? he is not shure any more). Galen hit the shadow with the back of the staff, then swept forward, attacking the shadow mages legs. he got a couple of hits on when the chest came back with... BOMBS??? why? seriously how is this fair? Galen hit the ground with his staf, opened a portal, and hit the chest strait out of the air. the other mage can wait. this inanimate object must die!

[Damian]

Sighing, Damian dismissed the cage around the blood mage and locked eyes with the Master. "We'll continue discussing whether or not you're taking a break when I get back to the guild. We will see you soon." Putting the lacrima away, he turns to the blood mage and approaches her, helping her up. "I hope I don't have to speak with you again, because if I do, you will go to the Magic Council, and when they actually do their job? They're quite effective." Leaving her with those parting words, Damian walks to the other person with the sword on his hip, calling James over.

"Well, I think we'd all like to return home, and James here would like to join the guild." Smiling tiredly, he went outside, cleared things up with the town officials and the guards, and soon bought them all tickets to get them home. He even led the way to the last train car, where he sat down and closed his eyes, and promptly fell asleep, softly snoring away.

[James]

James didn't say anything the entire time Damian lead the way and handled things, silently following the members of Phoenix Wing onto the train and to the last car on the train, where he sat across from Damian and leaned back, his sword sheathed on his back with the shield over it. As the other two walked in, he offered a hand to them both and smiled. "James Hunt, master of the rare Paladin magic. Pleasure to meet you both." He appraised each one as he spoke, taking notes of their hinting features so he could better use his support spells to actually be helpful.

Penny, who he knew from listening to Damian, was a Fire Transformation magic user, which meant she'd benefit most from his speed and power boosts, though the defensive ones would help as well. The other, who he didn't know, likely used some kind of magic that focused around the blade he wore at his waist, or he had something else entirely. Guess time would tell, though the blood mage had mentioned something about ashes...

Penny decided not to argue, but did turn to the blood mage, "if you plan, attacking my sister, in anyway, or my guild, I will not hold back next time" she said it softly, before following Damian to the train. If she wished to, and if she didn't want company, she would have flown back to the guild, but she didn't want to leave Damian. She sighed softly, and sat down when they reached the last carriage.

As james spoke, she turned her attention to him. "Most magic is rare these days. Nothing is as it was 100 plus years ago, after all, bjt what is Paladin magic" she asked, as she shifted, wrapped her arms around her knees when she pulled them to her chest, resting her chin on her knees.

Melina stood up a little shakily once she's free. "If we talk again, it won't be on the opposite side of a blade." She found herself leaning against the pillar until the Phoenix Wing members left. She made a little chuckle, before slipping into the shadows and doing her best to sneak off. Not waiting for the authorities to show up and interrogate her. Once she got to her hideout, she cleaned herself of the drained blood, and drew a general map to where Mayt's mother was. She caught a courier and payed him to take the map and a note to Master Jamie of Phoenix Wing. She was finally tired of working without Mithera, and needed her for the next step of her plan.

Kyo looked at the wizard and slammed her pan down upon his head. The wizard collapsed, finally defeated. Now they just needed to help Galen, if he needed help that is. He seemed busy with the weird chest thing. What was he going to do about the other wizard. Was he just expecting the wizard to sit back and relax while Galen fought. Seriously. Kyo ran towards the wizard and began to engage in combat. She realized that she was actually quite good at handling a frying pan.

...And she vanished. Sho didn't even have the time to react as she kicked him in the back, breaking his balance and letting his momentum do the rest of the work. He shot forward, her kick just slightly changing his course, slamming with his back first on the building ahead, blasting through the wall and bringing down most of the front of the building. "Ouch" was the first thing that crossed his mind as he stayed at that position for a couple of seconds, thinking about what she had just done; Sho quickly pushed the rubble off him, stood up and looked at Minerva. He clenched his fist, that was his first defeat in two years be it a spar or not, and it meant he had ways to go before being the greatest martial artist in the world. He walked towards her, shaking the dust and rubble off himself. he said with a smile, making it seem like he hadn't just blasted through a stone wall.

Minerva Fairchild - The Lion's Fang

"Going head to head is a mistake, I suppose you will learn that in due time." She sharply responded first to his commentary about the joy of fighting head to head. Still leaving a slight frown upon her lips, the swordswoman flicked the edge of her blade just once before sheathing it back to where it belonged once again. "In an honorable conflict, it may be a route that you can take. However, if you stand among the fields of dead on the battlefield, feel free to ask how much honor means to them. Just because you fall upon some chivalrous notion does not mean your opponent will. I know this all too well."

Lightly shrugging such ominous sounding words off her shoulders, Minerva ears and eyes caught Riye approaching the two and she could not help the amused expression when she stated that she hoped that Minerva was not going to be kicking anyone too severely. Shaking her head removing her hands completely from within range of the swords upon her hips, the regal looking girl would respond in kind.

"I sure hope I won't be either, but I've a feeling that such hopes are in vain." She started with first, looking Riye dead in the eyes with her precise blue gaze while the crackling white faded away. "And I am a new recruit as well, not too impressive really, but if you'd like I could accompany you upon your newest venture. I've no need for the money, so feel free to keep my share."

He hit the chest with his staff, and rolled on the ground, sliding across the ice. He looked around quickly. The pan girl is engaging the shadow mage, and ms purple comited the worst war crime possible on a man. So that just leaves Galen and the chest, who is currently standing up. Galen pushed himself of the nearby wall, went through a portal that dropped him in the air, set up another one on the ground and went through it, spinning on the ground as he exited, and swept the feet of under the chest. He then repeatedly hit the chest with his staff. This is what you get for throwing bombs at a mage. Shame on you chest.... Thing

"Those who die on the battlefield are just not good enough. If that happens to me then it would mean i just was not good enough, or i made a mistake, just like i did here. Plus, those who don't fight with honor don't deserve any recognition" Sho replied quickly. He became quite frustrated by her response and tried to conceal it by turning his back, walking towards his outfit that was on the ground. He picked it up; "Look what you did now...This was made by a special kind of cloth, extra resistant to cutting and slashing. That's some sword you have there..." he said, looking at his ruined outfit. "Never mind, I can always have another one made."

Sho returned back to them, just then noticing Riye had come over, "If you are talking about roasted chicken then i must say you are missing a lot.." he replied to her jokingly. He then watched as the two women spoke, butting in the conversation when Minerva said she and Riye could go on a mission together, "Hey there now, aren't you forgetting about something?" he tried to remind Riye, although right now he wanted more than anything to go to a quiet place to relax and recollect himself. His little bout with Minerva shook him up more than he expected. "...Although i should expect as much really...that's why i came here in the first place anyway..." he thought and looked at back at the destroyed building he had blasted through, "Phew, someone's gonna be real mad..."

The red-haired mage let out a sigh of relief as Sho and Minerva took their upcoming fight outdoors. He took one last drag on his cigarette as he looked over at Sasha and Lazarus. The new girl, Riye, had tried to talk with them. But as she gave up and started to head outside, Maddox heard the loud crashing noise. For a moment, he wondered what that could've been. That sounded like a building falling down, he thought to himself with a chuckle. But as he blew out the smoke and flicked the cigarette across the guild hall, landing perfectly in an ashtray on the bar, he realized what it was.

Maddox stood up and adjusted his coat slightly before trudging to the door. Greeting the others had to wait a moment longer. As he stepped outside, his red eyes settled on Sho and Minerva. Then Riye, who seemed to be trying to recruit either of them as a teammate. Then he saw the leveled building nearby. A frown formed on his face as he approached the small group. Once next to them, he crossed his arms and gave both Minerva and Sho a stern gaze. "I said one thing," he announced his presence, closing his eyes and shaking his head. "You realize that damage will have to be compensated by Master Jamie, right?"

He looked over at Riye now. He knew she was innocent, so his gaze wasn't nearly as stern with her. "She won't be pleased. Not very good looking for newcomers, wouldn't you say?" Maddox shook his head again before placing his knuckles to the bridge of his nose. "You two are going to have to pay for that." He opened his red eyes and brought them back to the fighters. "And it would probably be best to do so before Jamie finds out. It will affect his mood, after all. And our reputation." Once again, Maddox stood upright and crossed his arms. "You girl... Riye, I believe I heard, you didn't do anything. So you aren't in trouble."

Though this was not the weirdest thing Linda has seen it was pretty up there. She looked at the scene, a woman waving around a frying pan hitting a mage as he ran from her, and a guy repeatedly beating a chest with a staff, shaming it.... The ice had melted once the wizard was knocked out, as well as his weapons. The sudden thought accrued to her that she was missing Walkaflocka! She looked everywhere for him and found him in a different ally way. She picked him up and squeezed him and started to walk back when a group of about 5 or 6 dark wizards suddenly appeared and surrounded her. She ran into the walk that she opened a portal to and exited near where Galen and Kyo were. One of the wizards used a fire spell that travelled with the portal burning her arm. She yanked her arm away from the flame dropping one of the two scythe's and Walkaflocka. The group of dark wizards ran around the corner after her.

Minerva Fairchild - The Lion's Fang

It was rather difficult to believe her ears the moment that Sho continued to speak. To her, his idealism when it came to honor was foolish at best, borderline even to childish naiveté. Sighing and rolling her eyes, she stood steadfastly in her ideals by presenting to him a simple, but eloquent point: "It is the victors who write history, dear boy; not those who are cut asunder. You would do well to honor that notion. People sing songs of those who are ruthless and precise, sure perhaps they may rejoice in your honorable ways for now...but if killed, they would sing for not much longer."

When her complimented her sword, Minerva could not help what could little else be called than a prideful expression. Smoothly moving to the hilt at her hip, she slowly drew the blade so that it could shine beautifully in the midday sun. Upon leaving its resting place, the blade would seem to resoundingly hum in a faint tone, which Sho could now hear as she lofted it closer to him so that he might inspect it.

He would then be able to see the ancient looking runes that lay along the flat, of which they seemed to gently refract the light that was cast upon them. "This blade's name is Durendal," she whispered softly, with a briefly forlorn expression passing her gaze. "It was my father's weapon, and it would still be his if he had not fallen from grace" Sheathing that blade, she drew the second sword that lay upon her backside, and brought it up for him to observe.

"This one is named Caladbolg." She began, as the runes from this one were newer, and more evident. "This is my personal sword gifted unto me by my family upon passage of a Lion's rite. This is the one I used against you." The resounding hum from that blade sharply ceased as she sheathed it as well. "As you can see, they're no ordinary weapons. Each are crafted by the Fairchild family weapon smiths with runic techniques that have been passed down over a millenia. These blades are as rare as they are priceless, as they are also a focusing iris for Fairchild Family magi."

"Not all nobles' arrogance is ill-placed, I suppose..." she began at first, only to be interrupted by another. This time it was via the reprimand of another who criticized her and Sho alike for the damage that they had dealt. Nodding slightly, she reached inside her thinly lined coat and extracted a small purse covered in velvet and lined in silk. "I anticipated a trial of sorts to join the guild, or perhaps a fee...but I suppose this will cover the damages."

Handing the actually hefty purse to Maddox, if he would look inside there would be several pieces of platinum within. Not in coin form, but the raw material itself. Scattered with a few pieces of gold coinage, it would be more than tenfold the amount required to pay for the damages, as if she were even paying for the hardship caused unto the shop owner by her and Sho's bout.

Mayt pushed his way into the backyard of the guild after finishing his glass of water, sighing as he saw the new woman. "Just what we need, another sword-swinging maniac around here.." His voice was dry, but the irony in his voice wasn't lost. He glanced around the yard quickly, deciding weather it'd be better to just leave or to bother trying to train, he laughed a little as he saw the damaged building, before continuing to look. Training dummies... Training dummies.. Ah hell, I'll just ask Damian to spar with me later. Or... He looked up at the sky, thinking. He remained standing in the doorway, unintentionally blocking the way, before realizing this and moving off to the side to allow people in and out. He glanced over at Sho again.

Sasha sighed. "I guess we can talk later" She said to Lazarus, as the guild became its normal rowdy self. It as home. And that was all that mattered. She sighed again, this tie contently, and sat down, getting a drink and leaning back. She yawned, and looked about, hoping Penny was back, but it didn't seem like it. She bit her lip, her hand going to her pocket, where the note was. If she went to Master Jamie, would she just think Sasha was being paranoid, or would he believe her? She looked down at her drink, thoughtful.

She didn't want to join the rest of the guild that seemed intent on fighting, but there were so many new people that she knew she would have to mingle with them eventually. She sighed once more, and finished off her drink.
Master Jamie set his lacrima down, and leaned back in her chair. It just seemed never ending, didn't it? Annd yet, she wouldn't change it for the world. te guild was his, and that was that. She shoved off the desk, and started out his office, before hesitating, and grabbing the lacrima once more. Just in case. Heading out, Jamie looked about, checking on all the members in the guild.

Before she could slip a word about Sho's reminder, one of the guys she met before approached Sho and Minerva and told them they will need to pay for the damage they have caused and then he turned to face her and told her that she isn't at any kind of fault "Thanks for telling me the obvious thing... Reddix, was it?" Riye said in a slightly apologizing manner in the case she didn't get his name right "Sorry, I have a somewhat bad memory. Its why I find Archive to be so useful to me." She said and then activated it, looking among the many files on them before adding a picture and a small profile for Sasha and then looking for Maddox's picture and finding that she hasn't made one for him yet.

"Sorry, but did I get your name right? Seems like I didn't make a profile for you yet." Riye said before turning to look at Sho "I never said we won't go on a mission together. I merely meant that me and... Minerva?" She said in a slightly questioning tone, trying to get approval from the woman "Could go on a mission together sometime. I think it could be good to be experienced in working with multiple people and see who you work the best with." She said and then turned to look at Maddox, waiting to hear if she got his name right or not so she could create a profile for him.

Angelo soon left the bar of the guild going outside to practice, all Angelo did was sleep on the counter top and since he wasn't bothering anyone he didn't get told to get up. Their recent job made Angelo exhausted and thankfully Jarvis didn't bother to wake Angelo up. However once Angelo woke up he got a bottle of soda and walked out into the training ground seeing the training dummies and decided to practice although Angelo wasn't really trying as he drank his soda and performed ranged attacks with his other hand not wanting to try his new battle armor around the guild until he could get it down without the extra pain of burning in his body and he waved lightly at mayt seeing him waiting on someone...

Master Jamies voice rang out throughout the guild, as she once more stood on the bar, voice loud and hopefully drawing attention to himself. As Penny came in, presumably with Damian, and whoever else was with them, Jamie allowed himself a little sigh of relief. Nothing bad had happened. All her members were back.

"Please, stop what you are doing, and come to the common room!"

Mayt was about to head over to Angelo, after waving hello, when Master Jamie called for everyone to head to the common room. May shrugged towards Angelo before doing as Master Jamie called out. He wondered what this could be about. He hoped it was something good, not bad, but figured if it was so important to call the whole guild, chances of it being a good reason were slim. At least recently. He made sure to leave space for everyone else to get in and get comfortable, and Mayt just kept towards the back, close enough to hear Master Jamie, but far enough back to not be particularly noticeable.
