... kingdom hearts is an rpg it should be long. many games nowadays are too short imo. they need to be longer. a good example it the tales series I don't think there is a game shorter than 40 hours

I gosh, I remember when I tried playing Tales of Symphonia (My first tales game) and when I opened it there was two CDs inside the case which blew my mind as a kid. "This game must be long or something." which was my thought when I was a kid lol.

Tales of the Abyss was my favorite. Plus as a 60+ hour game first time though It was awesome being able to sit and play for ~2 hours and still have alot to do!

But how long a game should be vs how long it is very very much depends on the genre, the story (If there is one), and what's trying to be conveyed. A short game can convey as much as a long game if it's done right. And I've found most developers these days are "Levels = RPG, done". With exceptions. Imo, an rpg requires story that involves the player directly and has some form of player choice. A la Fallout (Dunno about all of them, only seen 3 and played New Vegas). Skyrim (Dunno about the other Elder Scrolls games) less so because it 'ends' in only one way. But that's mostly just looking at modern AAA "RPGs" and personal speculation/opinion.

Nah, the post is fine as is. The premise behind Holy Might is that he uses his Paladin Magic to increase the size of his sword for a single powerful swing with greater reach. You're perfect. Besides, he couldn't see Angelo do that between the shadows and his eyes shut.

True but then there is the RPG(or JRPG) that does different where the story is the direction your characters go and the battles/combat are the main focus where the player is involved. those work well too!

I'm throwing the Dragon Age Series and the Mass Effect Trilogy in as decent, hours long RPGs with great stories as well. I played and beat...well, I've only beat the first Dragon Age and I still need to beat the third Mass Effect, but only because of a lack of sequels, Dragon Age, or a perfectly damaged disk that traps you at an opening mission, ME3.

Origins is badass, I haven't beat it, but I have the ultimate edition on steam. And I've only played Mass Effect 3, but I thought it was not bad, despite the semi-binary end choice. And dragon age has as many sequels as ME does, just I've heard 2 sucks and Origins is a single player MMORPG, at least in gameplay.

Ever since I saw Sayuri talk to Maddox on the train and now, part of me felt like seeing them ship together in some way since they have quite the same physical characteristics. Am I the only who thought of this lol

When it comes for me when playing either a RPG or JRPG, I tend to lean more to the story the gameplay for me to say rather the game was good or bad. If the gameplay was nice but the story was ehh, it's okay. If the story was great but the gameplay was weird then I would still think it was good, unless the gamplay was just terrible.

Okay! Done! Before you start, I know they aren't exact, but I did my best with what I had xD (like Sasha's hair looks like a dark purple to me... But could be black. Damn it anime. Wes is missing bandages, so I replaced with sleeves. And they didn't have a darker blue... Fuuuuu) so yeah. Wow, I'm just going to say that these beat my expectations to how much you were limited to customize with. They look great Silver Fox. Part of me is saying Wes's blue hair should be darker, but it still looks amazing either way.
