*Reads for a few minutes, changing to different articles and skimming through them very quickly before repeating*
Wha... How have they managed to do all this? There's no way all of us can be fully prepared for it.

Stop where you are!

That's just not true. Their minds are still working, thinking about their choices. Even if their choices are going to be a certain way, it doesn't mean they aren't making them. Making a choice is like looking at a number of paths to do something and following one of them. It doesn't matter if all the other paths are actually illusions or not, because you chose a path!

Not close enough...
*Leaves the room and goes down three levels, then walks into a room that is barely tall enough for me to stand straight up in. Many wires and various other things run throughout the room, and all run up through the ceiling at the center*
This'll do.
*Makes my way to the middle of the room, then places one hand on the ceiling*
Hmm...
*I close my eyes, and after roughly five minutes, I open them, put my hand down, and chuckle*
Your work never fails to amaze, Dad. Always takes me a few minutes extra to figure out what makes your machines tick.
*Walks over to the door I came in from, then leans against the wall next to it*
Now, what can I do to make it easier for them...
