Here and there, but we do treat it as our home base. So if you need to get in touch with us at any time, one of us will come by before too long.
Assuming I could get here independently.

<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
It is a bit of an assumption.
*Bangs against a wall and a panel opens*
And this baby can turn into anything you want it to.
<Snipped quote by Host>
Perks of buying a home on the net.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
In a way. We have a private server in the real world running this place.
<Snipped quote by Host>
... Would your entire world be destroyed, theoretically, by a server crash of any kind? Do people die from that kind of thing?
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
If our server crashed, this world would disappear during the downtime. We have backups and the system should be able to restore itself, but if someone went into our server room and trashed it, and we couldn't get our backups, we'd lose it all. And navis have been deleted by being in the wrong place in the wrong time, but only if what they're running on locally is busted.
<Snipped quote by Host>
Well that sounds awful, and certainly like a good source of paranoia and anxiety. Would a human like me be deleted in such an event or how does that even work?
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
No, while there were once problems like that in the past, you'll just get kicked out into the real world. If it happened to me, I'd be stuck sitting in an empty void until I left the cyberworld. Most navis aren't concerned because they can easily be restored; plus, your odds of being deleted by a virus are much higher than being deleted by a device failure.
<Snipped quote by Host>
Could a human be deleted by a virus just like a navi, then?
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
In the strictest sense, no? But humans have died by syncing their consciousness to the net before, though like I mentioned, you're not in danger of that.
<Snipped quote by Host>
I’m asking not really out of fear. Just curious. There’s a lot stuff I don’t know and more that I don’t understand, and all.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>
Preferably keeping lethality close to the zero mark.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>
Hawk: thats what this group of Shinji's doesn't understand. This Is the worst case scenario. Aeron has already interacted with their group. He knows names. He's most likely already begun his plot.
<Snipped quote by Meta>
To leave a friend to suffer is to do them no favors. I say that because if Aeron does fully emerge, Shinji would likely suffer more then he ever has, especially if he ever regains control.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
And from what I've read in that file, he should become greatly encumbered in his plots should Shinji gain a healthier mindset and environment. So though killing him isn't off the table, it isn't the end of days yet.

Killing him is off the table. I'm not a part of this friendgroup, but from what I know, they don't just murder people because they might be a risk.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
Precisely.

<Snipped quote by Stabby>
Hawk: we are wasting time, here.
<Snipped quote by Meta>
*Sighs.*
And my point is that we keep the plan to kill him as a last resort, so that he doesn't suffer.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
But we're at least wasting it by getting somewhere instead of tiring each other out through fighting. The last thing we need in this situation is to fight until neither side has the energy to deal with Aeron.
*Looks at hawk.*
Besides, don't you need to go talk to your superior about this before deciding on anything?
<Snipped quote by Stabby>
Hawk: My superior is here, right now.
