I called Violet’s phone and it immediately picked up to static. I traced the signal to every possible point in Outside space, with no discernible pattern. If the phone really were shattered, the signal wouldn’t appear at all, let alone come from literally everywhere. The nature of Outside would have annihilated every particle.
