Ira Amaterasu

Ira had finally left the guild. His favorite voice began to speak in his mind as he walked towards the outskirts of town. ”Did you enjoy your little conversation child? Did you forget we have things to do? There’s a flute that needs your attention, or does that not matter. Ira became slightly irritated with the manuscripts remarks but answered quite calmly, ”No , but don’t question me about having a life. After all you're just a book. As I am just a human. Human contact isn’t something I crave but it is nice to speak to someone who isn’t always down-talking me and someone who is on the same intellectual ppar as myself. Anyway I am headed to your location as we speak so stop getting your panties in a bunch. Ira increased his pace. Even as he scolded the manuscript, a part of him was quite excited to get back and see exactly what secrets the flute held.

As he finally made it back to his caravan he couldn’t overcome his anxiety. It was almost as the flute were calling to him now that his mind was free from trivial conversation. He stepped onto the back of the massive ride he’d obscured from some some unlikely mates. Ira immediately grabbed for his bag which contained his prized possession and a newly obtained item broke into pieces. At first he would try the simplest method, jus connecting the two pieces together. But to no avail , the flute only denied his idea. The next was to try to infuse his magic within the pieces and hold them together thru spell. This seemed to work at first but only for a second as the pieces broke apart once again, this time shooting in opposite directions. ”Damnit. Just what am I not understanding.”, Ira spouted in a heap of rage. ” Your magic didn’t forge this weapon. What makes you think your magic will put it back together again.”

” So I’m guessing you have some bright fucking idea or you know something I don’t . Either way spill it . We aren’t getting anywhere with you hiding secrets from your care-taker.”

” There is but one way to put this back together. You must use your blood infused with the magic of Zeref that you know and also you must bond your soul into this flute.

”You never said anything about soul bonding.”, Ira sighed. ”But I guess its worth it if I’m a step closer to the unobtainable. With this Ira grab a knife from his bag. He slit his wrist as his darkened blood began to ooze from the wound. Magic immediately began to repair the wound but not before he spilled enough to cover a half of the flute. After successfully embedded one part of the flute with his blood. he questioned the the manuscript, ” Now what?”

”Repeat after me boy, Cum sit utilis aegrae : Adiuro cordis spiritu et corpore telum . Servire Zeref sit etiam damnare aliquem significantia substantiam habet. liga.”

Ira repeated the words. He could feel his magic being drained from him and placed inside of the item. It was overbearing. He never felt so weak in his entire life. The last thing he saw before collapsing from exhaustion was the flute, in a whole. ”Mission Complete.” . He keeled over with these words.

Kuroku Nagasai

As Kuroku waits outside, even glancing at Bristle for a moment, calmly himself. Even with the battle inside it seems that he will not be needed. They can take care of those ogres from inside. However, he can suddenly feel the brooch he got from earlier begin to thum with energy. The ice mage looks down to inspect the source of this thuming, but as soon as he began, he also began to hear whispers in his mind. He would hear unpleasant things, but was told in a very faint breath that unfortunately he could not recall. As Kuroku tries to keep those minds out of his head, he discovers some runes glowing a sinister red as the metal began to darken from a lustrous silver to a solid black. The strange part of it though was that the aura felt quite warm instead of a dark one, but it seemed to be drawing in the dark energy from another source, as if it was reacting to someone. And according to Kuroku's senses, it appears to be coming from within the cave.

The feeling of curiousity was quite irresistible, as it gnaws at his entrails. It was as if the brooch was coaxing him to inspect the abnormality, yet Kuroku was to remain outside regardless as backup, let alone he didn't want to leave Bristle alone. He grips the brooch with all of his might, as if he tried to resist the temptation of going inside, but for how long? How long will it take for him to eventually go inside and check? Not long apparently as it became too much for his curiosity to handle, even for an S-Class like himself. He stands up quickly as he briskly walks inside.

"Stay here." orders Kuroku sternly to Bristle as he enters.

He wasn't possessed or anything, but it would sure look like it from someone elses' point of view. He would eventually run into the two mages, who were fighting off the ogres from within, but hides before getting spotted. He quickly scans the room, hoping to find an answer to what was going on with the brooch, until setting his eyes on the robbed figure, who was chanting something he couldn't understand. Perhaps it was he that was causing the brooch to vibrate and emit as much as it was... but for what exact cause?

Matisuki Kiryuin

As Isshum, Vivian, and Hana leave to fight outside, so did the dark mage. Finally Matt didn't have to worry about the dark mage causing any trouble as he sighs in relief. He turns to Marcus, who had asked him and the others for his name.

"Name's Matisuki Kiryuin." he introduces himself as he would bring his hand out for a handshake, "But you can call me Matt for short. Nice to meet you Limbo."

Yet as soon as the mages leave, in comes another mage, Alice. She was also one Matt recognized. Yet as he watched her come in, so did Revan as he came up to her rather... hostile-ish. He walks up to them careful and puts a hand on Revan's shoulder, signaling him to calm down a bit before things get ugly.

"No not at all." he says at Alice, "Welcome Alice Vetrov. It's been awhile since I've seen you madam. How's everything with you?"

Hana Oshiro - The Last Samurai

"Where I'd be without my magic?" Hana repeated aloud. Of course she knew exactly where she would be without her magic: right here. The Last Samurai was absolutely confident that with her skills and weapons that all the fights she had been in throughout her history would've had the same result regardless of whether she used her Cherry Blossom Magic or not. While Vivian's remark was rude, Hana decided not to answer the rhetorical question so as not to go down to her level. But she still had something to say. "If you are to question an opponent's capability, you are to do so when you are in a position to prove yourself. Otherwise it is quite rude to address me in such a way."

Not many people in the guild, or people in general for that matter, respect honor and integrity. Definitely not to the degree that Hana does. She would always remain adamant about it, deliberately forcing her manners onto other people in the romantic hope that they would follow suit. "You cannot expect an honorable duel if you yourself are not an honorable person." With that final quip Hana decided to follow Isshum, presumably with Vivian in tow as the younger girl probably still wanted to challenge The Last Samurai. It was a bit of a walk, but Isshum found an acceptable location. Foliage didn't bother Hana that much, she just wanted to make sure there were no innocent people nearby. She didn't care about the damage the environment would take, nor did she particularly care if there were any obstructions in the fight. Anything between her and Isshum would surely be destroyed in one way or another.

"I know not why you are so fixed on being called a hero, but if you are ready then so am I." Hana held both her arms out to her sides with her palms facing outwards. "Senbonzakura..." Cherry blossoms began to spread out from the ground around Hana, drifting upwards gently until they randomly settled to float in one place. Many thousands were formed around the pink-haired woman, even in the air above her to form a loose sphere. Though it was dense it was not so thick as to make it impossible to see, as Hana was able to clearly see out and others could clearly see in. It was at this point that Vivian may have the idea to back up for the duration of the duel. "Summerfall." The thousands of cherry blossoms began to shoot forward at random, dozens at a time. In an almost gatling-gun effect, the sharp pink petals were launched at Isshum. They were capable of slicing through a lot of things, even many forms of magic, but not sufficiently powerful spells or sufficiently sturdy defenses.

Human flesh, however, would be turned to mincemeat by the barrage of cherry blossoms. The onslaught would continue until all the created blossoms were exhausted, which would equate to roughly thirty seconds of non-stop attack. The blossoms that missed (or perhaps passed entirely through Isshum) would maintain a straight path and mar the landscape behind him. Regardless of the condition Isshum was in by the end of it, the ground around him would be shredded and the trees in the distance would be perforated. Some may call the opening attack overkill, but either Hana believed Isshum could handle himself adequately or she really wanted to beat him in one attack. It was hard to tell which just by looking.

Alice Vetrov

Alice would be lying if she said that Revan's sudden appearance behind her wasn't startling. He was, after all, known for being quite intimidating with the deadliness to match. Alice's first reaction once she heard his voice was to turn around with a look of disbelief at the fact that he had even bothered to come down and greet her personally. Then she remembered as to why he was so disturbed by her magical presence and a pang of guilt overcame her. She ignored it for now, smiling at the man who looked at her as if she was a piece of meat rather than a person.
"Revan? Well this is a surprise. It's been far too long." Alice's first instinct would normally be to give her old comrade a hug, but she knew that Revan probably wouldn't appreciate the gesture. Reluctantly, she settled for a simple respectful nod of her head. Revan made a comment about whether or not Alice could handle joining the guild in her current state. For a moment it even felt like he was concerned about her.
"What happened to me is in the past. I'm doing my best to move on and being back in Magnolia is going to help me achieve that." She failed to mention the nights she still woke up crying or the panic attacks that occurred every so often, but the last thing she wanted to seem was weak. She needed to prove that she was worth something to the guild and that she wouldn't be a liability.

Matisuki Kiryuin was the next person to greet her, appearing to have finished dealing with the new mage. Alice took note of all the youngsters that had surrounded themselves around the S Class before they went off to fight with Hana.
"It's good to see you Matt." Alice gave a welcoming embrace to her old comrade. "I didn't know you were so good with the kids." She made the comment in jest, already feeling comfortable with these familiar faces. When Matt welcomed her back, Alice couldn't help but smile and correct him.
"Actually, it's Alice Kisaragi now." She held out her hand to Matt so that he could clearly see the ornately crafted golden engagement ring that sat gently on her finger. "Professionally I still go by Doctor Vetrov, but otherwise I decided to change my name to my husbands. He and our son will be visiting tomorrow. I can't wait for everyone to meet them".

Vivian

Vivian was livid as Hana walked away. She fumed silently for a minute before her rage boiled over, drawing her sword and striking out at the nearest inanimate object, slicing the table clean in two and kicking both halves across the room in opposite directions.

"Oh, I'll slice her to bits! She'll get the 'honorable' end of my sword, that's what she'll get. I'll... I'll..." She continued to mutter ever more creative threats and insults as she stalked toward the nearest tankard, owned or not, and drank down the contents in one go, her sword still in hand.

"How about you, Scales?" She said suddenly, turning and pointing her sword at Matisuki. "You wanna go a round, or do you want to brush me off too, like some kind of annoying bug? Eh?"

Erin Draven

Erin was simply observing all the faces coming and going with a kind smile. Despite all the hostile looks going to and fro. Along with the challenges and calls to fight, he had no reason to feel threatened. He knew that if anything truly happened the members of the Wizards of Fiore were more than capable of dealing with it. Quickly too seeing how many of the guild's top wizards were present at the moment. So Erin just smiled and laughed as he watched all of his friends go about their usually loud and boisterous lives.

"I am Erin Draven, a pleasure to meet you," He said in response to Limbo's question. "Sorry I didn't say so sooner, that's quite rude of me," he added in apology. Just as more mages entered the guild, the place suddenly becoming crowded. At least more crowded than usual as there were so many new faces joining them this day. It was always good to have new faces around, it meant more friends to make in the guild and more people that Erin could help.

Being a wizard without a team had an advantage for Erin as he could easily, and often, help out where he was needed. Though he was also capable of taking jobs solo, such as the one he had returned from not long ago. Normally when he went off alone he would make a companion of some stray animal he would find and then before his job was finished he would always seem to find a nice home for the pet. He truly had a soft spot for animals, and one he didn't try to hide.

Turning his attention from his inner thoughts Erin returned to the new wizard before him nicknamed Limbo. "So why join us, if you don't mind me asking?" He asked curiously, that kind smile always present.

I S S H U M.

A smirk flashed across his countenance as the pink petals swirled around Hana fitly. Just falling short of a sphere. It was a sphere of defense and offense, one that he recognized almost immediately. Even so, he had tenacity and luck on his side. He wouldn’t stop this battle until he proved his worth.

“It’s everything to me! Simple as that. It’s my dreams and hopes.”

Speaking those words had not kept him from inching back from Hana’s impressive display of magic. Step by step, he moved away from her. When the Last Samurai had announced her attack and her petals shot forth like coral-colored bullets, Isshum was quick and primal in his movements. He launched backwards from the earth, touched ground a second later, and slid out of the attacks path.

An explosion burst forth from his soles, increasing his speed as the petals decimated the trees and earth behind him. With a hand he arced himself around, tearing the ground up in the process. Isshum’s fist roared with fire as he quickly came upon Hana and with a sudden, abrupt stop, extended his fist inches from Hana’s barrier and detonated the magic in her face.

"Point-Blank Canon!"

The fire roared to life and consumed the barrier.

Bristlebane

Bristlebane looked at Kuroku eagerly as he stood up but practically deflated once he was ordered to stand down. He grumbled under his breath as the ice mage purposefully strode into the cave. He looked around the cave bored, and to make matters worse he had just finished all his crackers. No one was looking... and besides if they were in trouble and really needed help then maybe they couldn't call for help. Bristlebane snorted, "Five minutes." was all he muttered before he sat down wiping out a pillow and an alarm clock and leaning back eyes closed and setting the clock. Everybody else always got to have fun but it was always, "Bristle don't touch that, Bristle don't do that. Bristle stay here, Bristle go away." Hmph. At least he got a pretty sword so the day wasn't a total waste no matter what happened.

Hana Oshiro - The Last Samurai

Isshum was quick and mobile, dodging the barrage of slicing blossoms in order to close the distance and attempt to attack Hana directly. The downside to that was that by getting closer he would reduce his own reaction time to whatever spell she would produce, but Hana was surprised by his tenacity. The cherry blossoms that surrounded her were many in number and each one potentially lethal yet the boy showed no signs of fear. "Huh." When Isshum approached what remained of the sphere of cherry blossoms, his hand already ablaze, Hana showed no signs of concern or surprise. She remained perfectly calm. "Senbonzakura..."

Her right palm aimed towards Isshum before moving vertically to face the sky. As the raging inferno of the boy's attack began to blast through the sparse blossom defenses, a thick and solid wall of pink petals erupted from Hana's feet. While before she had merely summoned a couple thousand petals, this wall was incredibly dense and stretched wide and tall. It was an immense and intimidating amount. Isshum's fire spell collided with the still-growing wall of pink, burrowing slightly into it but ultimately unable to penetrate due to the thickness and constant movement. "Tsunami." The huge mass of cherry blossoms suddenly became less rigid following Isshum's attack, now falling forward to crash on top of the boy. A literal wave of sharp magical petals, hundreds of thousands flowing like water. The earth they touched wasn't just crushed under the weight but shredded too. This wave of cherry blossoms pushed out towards the boy fast, though the sheer bulk of it made it nowhere close to the speed of Hana's earlier attack. The farther the blossoms reached from Hana, the less dense the wave became as gravity and other various factors forced the wave to spread out over distance.

Matisuki Kiryuin

Matt just chuckles lightly as he embraces Alice for a light hug. He didn't want to accidentally make her feel squished between him and her arm. After all, he's usually a gentle giant in non-stressful situations.

"It comes from experience." he says humbly, "Though trust me, the kids now have far more energy then back then."

He was then corrected with Alice's last name, Kisaragi, while shown the beautiful engagement ring on her finger.

"Ah congratulations!" Matt answers jollyingly, "I'm sure everyone will love to see them. How long have you guys been together if I may ask~?"

But he was soon interrupted by Vivian, who challenged him to a duel. The muscular man reaches his arm out and issues an 'easy' pose with his hand.

"You really want to?" Matt asked her as if she was crazy, "Then give me a minute please."

He then pays his attention back to Alice.

"See what I mean?" Matt says mentioning what he said earlier about the kids with another chuckle.

Akatsuki

Reaching her destination Akatsuki couldn't help but be somewhat excited she was finally getting somewhere with her goal hopefully there would be someone who could point her towards the right direction at the guild. So far she had a few options one was the guild leader Kiryuin second was Annabeth those were the only two she knew that could possibly have a idea on how to find the temple and or the origins of the key. With a spring in her step she entered the guild hall hopefully Annabeth was here so she could ask since she did not exactly want to bug Kiryuin on something like this. Entering the hall she decided to speak up as a whole perhaps that way she could get a easy and clear answer "Has anyone seen Annabeth? I have something to ask her." She spoke up her gaze sweeping through the crowd seeing if she could spot her from where she was.

Setsura
she couldn't help but sigh things was not going well for her it seems. First chaos happened than she gets written off as less than worthless for all intents and purposes. With that said and done she just decided to grab a seat and just ignore everyone else if they wanted to write her off let them this was no skin off her back. Gave her time to do what she wanted she supposed. Still she thought to herself as she sat and looked at her blank portfolio it seems inspiration was not hitting her sadly. With a frustrated noise escaping her lips she rested her head in her hands her eyes looking at the portfolio with nay a written word. No one did say it was going to be easy she thought as she placed her pen down and rested her head on the table in defeat.

Taka Shirokawa

Taka smirked as her foe was pushed back, but then she realized that the beast had quickly sent out waves of magic at the two. Taka avoided the weapon coming at her, by it's physical shape going through her arm that was pure flames. However she did not avoid the waves of magic, they belted right into Taka as she grit her teeth, she fell down but slowly got back up from being hit by the magic. Taka grit her teeth as she then started to hear the roars and snarls coming from below, from where she was hit with magic her original body was showing up. She then tightened her fist as that original body turned back into flames.

She watched the victims being taken out of the cages and be taken up to the altars, as someone who looked like the leader came out. The leader, looks like he might have some possessing magic over these beasts. Taka then noticed Aiden use his Ice-Make magic to freeze some of the horde, she then looked to Aiden as she got a plan out from him.

"Very well. Keep safe!" Taka yelled back to Aiden as she jumped over the hoard and ran towards the leader, she then noticed the four ogres who were standing there ready to fight off Taka. "You ogres, swinging at me." Taka said as she brought both of her hands up, starting to smirk once again. When the weapons went into her she grinned as she closed her eyes, preparing to do a spell.

"Blazing Volcano!" Taka opened her eyes as fire started to form from her back, it then shot itself in four directions towards the enemy, when it hits the enemy the fire spreads and explodes onto them. "Alright!" Taka grinned as the ogres fell to the ground, she then looked towards the hooded figure with a serious face.

"Are you next?" Taka smiled to the hooded figure, her fire body starting to get hotter.

Ren Evercloud

Blinking repeatedly so his eyes could adjust to the shine of the sun above Ren slowly stirred from his nap atop the guildhall. With a small yawn he sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes with his palm. Noticing the angle of the shadows around town he let out an exasperated sigh. "That unreliable furball...I told him to wake me up two hours ago. He can his own fur from now on..." Brushing a strand of light blue hair from his eyes Ren got to his feet and stretched before stepping off the edge of the rooftop. He seemed to fall gracefully with his hands in his pockets. He landed relatively softly considering the height and quite close to a girl and her friend startling them both. "Wh-whoa! Where'd he come from?!" Ren looked at the girl closest to him realizing his clumsiness. "Oh, I'm quite sorry. Putting such startled looks on such beautiful faces...I should be ashamed. Might I make it up to you with some cake from my guild's kitchen? It's on me and I assure you very delicious~" By now Ren had taken the closest girl's hand in his and she was clearly smitten, a deep blush on her face. "Ah...I-I'd love to..." The other girl not directly exposed to Ren's charming aura scoffed. "Your not really falling for this are you?" Ren blinked. "Falling for what...?" The dragon slayer was completely oblivious to how flirtatious his words had come across. He was truly sincere about atoning for nearly landing on them on his way down from the roof. "C'mon!" The girl dragged her friend away despite her protests. Ren rubbed the back of his neck with a look of confusion. "Was it something I said?" He muttered before heading inside the guildhall.

Blanche

"Smooth." Blanche said, falling into step with Ren as he passed her by the door. "I would avoid you too, but I for one know you can't tell the difference between being nice and excessive flirting." She picked up half a table someone had flung into the corner and carried it easily with one hand as they crossed the room.

"You missed some interesting things going on in here. There's a fight going on out back, and one of the A Classes got real upset about something or other. I think she's going to try taking out her frustration on Matisuki." She chuckled a bit to herself at that. "No matter what age it is, a guild is always a guild. Even one spanning the whole continent."

Vivian

"I changed my mind." Vivian said, sheathing her sword and sitting down again. "I'm too tired to try and break through your defense. Thanks for not ignoring me though." She folded her arms on the table and put her head down, mumbling through the wood.

"Just for that, I'm gonna climb to S Rank. Just out of spite. That'll show her."

Revan

"So the brat has a brat now, eh? Can't wait to have another loud mouth babe around here. Like Matt said, we have a lot of children around here, and all of them tend to think they can take on an S-class just because they trained up for a few months. Luckily for me, I'm one of the least popular choices for challenges, so it doesn't bother me that much." Revan chuckled to himself before letting out a yawn, scratching his neck as he walked over to the bar, sitting with a grunt as he did so.

"But yeah, what Matt said, congratulations and all that. Just hope your family can handle all the insanity that happens here, as I'm sure you remember how crazy guilds can be. Also, make sure that the kid doesn't bother me, I have a hard enough sleeping as it is without dealing with another brat that I can't even send through a wall. Speaking of trouncing children, how much longer do you guy's think it'll be before Hana eviscerates that Dragon brat?"

Ogre Cave

As Taka launched her attack, the Ogre's went down rather easily, the flames giving them serious burns and wounds before they passed out from the pain. However, the robed figure merely stretched his free hand outward in her direction. As it left the confined of the robe, the fire mage would see that this hand was a amalgam of parts from what seemed like several different monster's stitched together. In the center of the palm was a scarlet red reptilian-eye that would stare down at her, taking on an intense glow as magical energy passed through it.

Suddenly, the Ogre's Taka just defeated would convulse wildly, as if possessed by something, before they all rose as one. The creature's eyes were now a solid black, their skin gleaming with a serious of dark red runes that shifted and writhed over their hides like a flame. They would again charge at Taka, but unlike before, the flames would not scare them, as they would keep moving until their movements were somehow halted. Each blade swung would also be coated in that same magical energy as they charged forward, eager to take a slice out of the young mage. If she had the time to notice, however, she's see that the blades seemed to have fused with their owner's hands in a horrid amalgam of flesh and steel.

At this time, Bris would feel a strange compulsion to pull out the blade he had gotten earlier, and while it was not a smal compulsion, it could be resisted. If Bristlebane did take out the blade, his hand would come under intense pain for a second, but would soon disappear. A look at the handle would so that a spike had come out of it into the hand, and from it flowed a small stream of red magical energy. It seemed the blade had tried to inject him with something, but given that magic doesn't effect the blonde trickster, it had failed to take effect against him.

The hooded figure with drew it;s monstrous hand back into it's cloak, having never once even looked in Taka's direction nor breaking it's chanting. With in a short while, it seemed to be complete as the red ooze atop it's staff shot out towards man tied to the altar. However, slammed into the ground next to the altar, having been dragged towards the direction of Kuroko. Upon seeing this, the hooded figure let out a short stream of courses as he looked in that general direction, but before it could make a move, a wave of ice would flow down to trap the feet of the Ogre's holding his throne, causing them to cry out and drop it. The hood mage woud leap off it and land a short while away from the altar, only to seeming blur away from it as a frigid gale of wind filled with shards of ice rushed through the spot he was just in.

"Stop running, you bastard!" Aiden called out towards the figure, his clothes ripped an torn and a few light ruins covering his body as the numbers had been too much for him to come from the fight unscathed. He slashed at the hooded figure, the blade glowing an icy blue as he pumped his slayer magic into it. Everytime, however, the figure seemed to use some kind of spell to blur away from the attack. Seeing that this wasn't working, Aiden jumped back tossing his weapon into the air as he took his Ice Make stance. "Ice Make: Guardians!"

He thrust out ward, forming 3 ice figures to charge at the hooded figure. Before they could et close, however, the figure spoke again in it's strange language, a black magic circle forming under him. Tendrils of red ooze shot out to smash through the guardians and rush towards Aiden at high speed. He barely dodged, and now the positions were reversed, wih Aiden taking on the evasie position as he just barely managed to dodge the tendrils, not having enough time to concentrate on returning an attack of his own due to the sheer number and speed of attacks being sent his way.

Meanwhile, the man on the altar would look in Kuroko's direction, his eyes searching in the darkness to find him.

"C-c-c-ome," He whispered, though it seemed to be amplified as the S-rank mage would be able to hear him as if he was right next to him, It was obvious from his voice, and the difficulty with which he spoke the language that he was not a native of this land. "N-need Silver He-" Before he could finish, one of the Ogre's next to the altar got wise to what he was doing and sent a solid unch into his face, shutting him up for the moment as he awaited his fate.

His fist smoldered with a clean, filtered smoke. As he held the shoulder of his attack arm, he peered through blast and noticed a wall of pink ascending in front of him. A mildly, cocky smirk splayed on his face. Though fear seemed to mingle in his eyes as he hesitated to retreat or take it head on.

Shit!

That thought, along with him, was consumed by the shrapnel of magic. The petals felt nothing like they looked. Inside the wave of pink, he felt his clothes and skin tear. With a urge from his frustration, pain, and disappointment; Isshum rocketed himself out the spell and hovered several meters above Hana. Flames poured from his soles, warming the space beneath him. Not a bit of defeat rested in his eyes as he stared down at his opponent.

Delicately, he touched the hot blood that pooled down the side of his face. Wind touched him briskly on his back and left leg, places where his clothes no longer resides. A light chuckle left his smile. “God you’re good. I gotta admit, I overestimated myself a little.”

“Still though, this doesn't mean I’m done. I'm far stronger than this!” He let a small flame lick the air from his lips, his blue eyes narrowing into slits with his rising excitement.

“I probably should stop though,” he said suddenly, lowering himself to the ground. Once on the floor he kept from touching the pained parts of his body, mostly anywhere that had been sliced from Hana’s petals. “Hana … how’d you get so strong? The way you control your magic is pretty badass.”

He’d never admit it. But he had his own reasons for not continuing the fight.

Ren Evercloud

As he walked into the guildhall he was instantly treated to Blanche's thoughts on what had just occurred out front. "Eavesdropping as always. Ever think you might be taking this doting mother thing a bit too far? Not that I mind having a lovely older woman looking out for me~" Ren really didn't realize he was doing it. After getting a rundown of what was happening, the dragon slayer sighed. "If Sykes had woken me up like he was supposed to I wouldn't have missed all the fun. Speaking of which have you seen him? I think it's about time I found out just how many ways there really are to skin a cat." As annoyed with the feline as he was Sykes was most likely going to get off with nothing more than a chop to the head. Ren wouldn't really hurt his best friend even he is an unapologetic nuisance on a regular basis. "Of all the questing companions I could of had..." He muttered with a sigh though not a particularly irritated one.

Hana Oshiro - The Last Samurai

When Isshum burst through the wave of cherry blossoms, Hana began to move her hands again. To prepare another attack and finish the fight her way. But, much to her surprise, the young Dragon Slayer relented and gave up on the fight. This earned a surprised expression from the older woman, who took a moment to lower her hands back to her sides. The cherry blossoms that littered the battlefield began to dissipate, vanishing without a trace and leaving no signs to prove how the field was so destroyed. Most of the ground appeared as if it had been run with a tiller while several trees in the distance were shredded and falling apart. "How I got so strong?" Hana repeated, bringing a finger to her lip as she thought about it.

"I never gave up." The pink-haired samurai stepped forward with a smile, stretching her arm out to ruffle Isshum's white hair. "I was born with innate power, but where we come from doesn't dictate what we will become. I've been training all my life, I still train to this day. I fight with honor, dignity, and diligence. And I haven't always won. Humility is important, too. But all in all, just keep fighting and you will grow stronger. Remember: I have many years of experience that you are yet to have." With another smile, Hana proceeded to ruffle his hair again before finally retracting her hand from his head. "You have a powerful magic. I'm sure one day you will become the hero that you hope to be. If all else fails I know someone who can help you out. Another Dragon Slayer."

Hana stretched her arm out, as if it was sore or otherwise bothering her. She looked at her right wrist with scrutiny before sighing and bringing her arm back to her side. "But he is a busy man. One of the few to beat me in a fight, though he was kind enough to spare my life. But I'm sure you don't need any special instruction. Just a burning determination. Now let's get back to the guild. I think Vivian wanted to challenge me to a duel as well, but if I won't be using my magic then we don't have to fight in isolation like we just did." The pink-haired woman began walking back to the guild, expecting Isshum to follow suit. It was refreshing to spar with someone, even if it was brief and the gap in power is apparent. Simply put, Hana appreciated that she was still relevant.

Ever since the War, Hana hadn't felt as appreciated as she once did. While her power in the past was mostly considered beautiful it was now just seen as destructive. Her youth has been declining, so her visual appeal had been declining as well. With so many mages congregated and united in one guild it was easy to put the 'veterans' in the back to fit the newer ones. Her days as Lamia Scale's Ace have long been gone. Hana wasn't about to admit her feelings, but it was assuring to know that the younger mages still looked up to her. "Hmm... I don't know why, but something feels familiar..." Hana spoke up as the two continued walking back to town. "Like... I have a bad feeling..."

Stacy Kaiser - White Tiger

Number One

Unknown to Hana the strange feeling she was getting came from high above in the sky. Two women, one that looked like a stereotypical witch and the other that was bothering Hana: Stacy Kaiser. The two women sat on a flying broomstick, with the witch clearly in control and Stacy simply clinging to her for safety as they traveled across the sky. "We're almost there, you can slow down now! Like please slow the hell down!" Stacy spoke up, barely audible over the wind as they flew across the sky. "You can also let go of my breasts!" the other woman shouted back, though Stacy didn't oblige. It wasn't until the two reached Magnolia and descended to the streets that the pale, white-haired woman ceased her sexual harassment.

"Hey, thanks again for the ride," Stacy admitted, releasing the woman and hopping off the broom onto the cobblestone street. "I don't think I'll be giving you one again." "Oh, come on. Don't be like that. It was all in good fun." "For you, maybe. And people say that I'm freaky." The witch didn't even wave goodbye as she sped off on her broomstick, kicking up a small gust of wind that caused Stacy to stumble backwards. The pale woman was quick enough to regain balance and stay on her feet, but a look of irritation had taken hold of her. "Fine then! Didn't need you anyways." Brushing her long hair over her shoulders, Stacy turned and began walking towards the heart of Magnolia.

It didn't take long to find the Wizards of Fiore guildhall. It was common knowledge where it was, being it was presently the only legal guild in all of Fiore and would probably remain so for the foreseeable future. "Reminds me of the good ol' days," Stacy began to reminisce, standing outside the doors. "Back when I could just walk into these places and boss everyone around. Good times." With a swift kick, the doors flung open and Stacy Kaiser stepped inside, a confident grin already plastered across her face. "Alright!" she shouted, likely grabbing attention. "Who's still alive!?" The phrase may sound odd to most of the mages gathered around, but for some it would have a clear connotation: she was referring to veterans of the War. "C'mon, I know there's gotta be a few of ya. Shouldn't be too hard to spot... Ah, Revan! You're still alive!"

The white-haired woman approached the demonic man, rudely shoving past several others along the way. "I would think you'd have died of old age or something by now. You were old when I first met you, yet you still aren't dead. That's tenacity for ya." Of course Stacy knew exactly why Revan hadn't really aged over the course of almost twenty years, but she couldn't resist irritating him. She had first met him soon after her mentor had died, long ago. Revan was one of the first mages she ever met, and periodically she had run into him on her misadventures. Even during her time with the Magic Council she had often bumped elbows with the half-demon. "I bet you're wondering why someone so important like me would suddenly show up at the Wizards of Fiore, right?" Stacy began, toning her voice down a bit. "Well, that's because..."

"The Magic Council fired me today."
With that she burst out laughing, even giving Revan a hard slap to his back as she laughed at her own misfortune. "Ever since that war the Council has been so different. Figured it was only a matter of time before they booted me out. But oh well. Figured I would surround myself with alcohol and mages, so here I am. Care to buy me a few drinks, Revan-sama?"

Revan

Revan sensed Stacy before she entered the guild hall, as those looking at him would notice his face slowly set itself to one of annoyance and displeasure. . . or at least, more so than usual. As the Ice Make mage came in, the half demon mage turned around, hoping that whatever forces up above were out there would grant him mercy.

Alas, those of darker origins were always in want for rest, but hard-pressed to find it.

Revan said nothing as the white haired girl rambled on, only paying half attention to her, if that. The only thing that peaked his interest was hearing that the brat had gotten fired from her position on the Magic Council, which drew a chuckle from the demon mage. That chuckle turn into a harsh bark of laughter as she asked him if he'd pay for her drinks.

"Yeah, I'm going to spend my money to make you more loud and bothersome than you already are. Heh, fat chance of that. I swear, I'm cursed to be annoyed by nearly everyone I meet with white hair, aren't I? You, that slayer brat, that other slayer brat, than that last brat ho though he could come in here like he owned the place, than had the gall to turn tail when the fight just started." Revan clicked his teeth in agitation as he remembered that Ira brat, wanting the kid to show up again just so he could launch a fist straight into his face. Repeatedly. "But that aside, I'm curious as to why they fired you. he obvious answer is rowdiness and misconduct, but considering how they were back in their day, that seems a bit hypocritical of them. Either way, how about you go bother Alice, though before you jump her I'll have to let you no she's taken and with a kid already, so you're out of luck in that department." Revan reached into the pack lay down a bag of jewels on the table for the Barkeep, a short whistle summoning some bulwarks to go get him another five casts of good ale.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be getting myself a few drinks than probably finding my way out of here. It's getting to noisy for me, and it'll only get worse with yo around, I'm sure. Oh, and don't use honorifics with me again. I find them unneeded and annoying."

Belial Roseblood

Belial had been in a bit of a daze after taking Matt's initial counter strike. He glanced at the small crater in the ground and rubbed his head. He'd even been singed a bit by the attack of his guardian. Luckily he brush most of that attack off by shielding himself with his own flames. He'd been about ready to pick himself up but Vivian had helped him up.

"Ugh... Losing in one hit every time is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth." He grumbled quietly in a huff as he crossed his arms and glanced around. This guild hall was particularly full. Probably because it was in the original home town of the Fairy Tail guild. He kicked at the ground. All too fast everyone had gone on to other things. Isshum had even challenged and gone off to fight Hana. Then there were the people who'd left and those who'd entered. The weird ominous feeling white haired guy. The someone angelic woman and finally another White haired mage. I don't think Ish is gonna feel too happy about not being the only White haired person around here any more. He thought with a slight chuckled before he began to stretch and move around a bit.

The 13-year-old began to hop, punch and kick the air, almost as if testing his mobility. "All good." He confirmed before walking over to the bar. That's when he noticed Revan. "Ooooo Scary." He said as he noticed Revan. "The old guy is up and down from the upstairs." He snickered quietly to himself. He didn't know much about Revan, but he knew enough not to mess with him. Mostly. Right now, he was thinking that he'd remembered something about Vivian saying she'd wanted a drink. Still, even if he wanted to be nice, he probably couldn't get the drink without having to try and be sneaky about it, and as full as it was he would be caught.

He wasn't even exactly sure what he wanted to do. All he knew for sure was that he was feeling kind of down due to his weakness. He thought he'd been improving too! He sighed and sat at the bar. Who could he train with to get stronger that wouldn't likely knock him out in a single hit. There was Vivian. But with her moodiness, especially after hana essentially brushed her off, he couldn't be so sure. Revan was scary, Isshum didn't really hold back, Matt... No... And wow, was that the limit to who he knew? No, he knew others, but there was something about thinking about people that made him forget when he needed to know them and remember when he wasn't trying to think. Gah! This is so annoying! He thought as he let his head drop onto the top of the bar with a small thump followed by somewhat audible groan.
