Being the Bad Guy

Being the bad guy has its advantages. There are certain things that are really fun to write, such as gory and graphic actions that the bad guys can get away with. I have, plenty of times, done such actions for a few bad guys I have made. Though, I do find myself preferring a neutral-ish character, one who isn't really good nor bad. He or she that does their own thing and doesn't side with any side unless if fits his or her own agenda.

What kind of characters have you been making lately?

Lately huh? Well, haven't really made any "new" characters in a while. I've probably only made two new characters since the year started and one is somewhat of a retard. A retard in the sense that he refers to himself as "Grandmaster D", and has Lightning Manipuation as a power that has allowed him to have superspeed and other related powers. I should clarify. His name is Dominic and that is where the "D comes from(hehehe...D). XD Dominic is quite vocal about his opinions, which tend to get him into trouble with a lot of people. The other is Shinto, who is a telekinetic with unmatched accuracy with said powers and his sniper rifle. He's a bit quiet, and keeps to himself...for the most part. He and Dominic are best friends and have been with each other(as friends) for the majority of their early teens. They are both 36.

Both characters have my own traits. Dominic has the part of me that I wish to express, which is expression of my opinions(I don't do that a lot). Inversely, Shinto is the kind of person I really am: quiet and keeping to myself. I think they work perfectly as a representation of those parts of me.

Oh @Blue Demon about four months have passed since the debut arcs happened. We all have a little more experience but are still very new. Edit Hey guys if you have not yet posted in IC then you can use the world event as your debut arc so you can keep up with us.

That's exactly why I half-held off from finishing Static. The other reason is cause I've been super lazy lately, but the former sounds much more professional. >.>

@Skull, can I just say that I love your idea for the last arc. Every great character outline needs to have that one arc that is purely comical.(hehe, see what I did there? :P)

Love the sidebar. My personal preference is left align, but it's cool as is. EDIT: @Mahz I hope I'm not the only one who misses the horizontal line feature. I for one found that to be a very useful thing to have in separating sections of my posts.

Have any of you noticed that the late 90s to early and mid-2000s had some of the best DC cartoons and in great numbers? I mean, we had the Superman animated series, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans. I mean, that's well over 300 episodes give or take right there.
