Oh, also, a question for our GMs.

XxLyraxX has been offline for over a month now - and has been absent from this roleplay for even longer. Would you be able to reopen the second co-GM spot and re-open the Son of Poseidon spot too? I don't they're coming back... :(

Mm yeah, I think we're going to have to. Even if Lyra has been away for a good reason, I don't think it's fair to everyone else to have an MIA GM. I think, especialyl now with me taking control temperarily, I'm going to need someone who'll be more hands-on with things in the event that I, too, have to go away from the RP. Plus it wouldn't hurt to have another person to discuss things with haha.

I'll contact Hushed to see if she can open up the second Co-GM slot officially and I'll handle the choosing of the GM for her in case she's still dealing with her family stuffs.

As for the second Poseidon slot, I think you might be onto something. With Lyra being gone, it's not really fair to someone who would like to join as a possible Son of Poseidon, be it someone already on the player cast or someone new. So, I will open it up for anyone who wants to make a character for that slot.

That's fine. I'll be leaving here shortly to go get my haircut and then sleep, so it'll more than likely be that I'll be asleep by the time afternoon comes around and will be up probably around late evening. Oh the woes that go into being an all-nighter. x-x

As for face-claims, perhaps the God/Goddess has one preferred image that they use pretty much all the time, and just alters it in order to do some frick-frack with mortals. Or non-mortals, depending on which myth you're looking at.

Either way, I'm sure they settled on a final image - for example, Hermes is nearly always portrayed as a young man; Hephaestus is always portrayed as a disfigured dude, and Zeus always has his rockin' beard.

So, I like the idea of having F/C for their everyday image - at the very least it gives us an idea of what they may look like.
Obviously, if people share a Godly parent, you'll have to debate over it, but I highly doubt it'll cause many issues.

I like your idea about them having a preferred one. It allows us to put a face to them while still retaining some loyalty to the mythos of them having several ones. I'm sure @Plank Sinatra and @Onarax can agree to this, no? Of course, this is only the first step in the direction of deciding face claims for the godly parents. Speaking of which, I need to get at my half-siblings and discuss possibilities of face claims:3

How important is making posts look pretty?

I firmly believe that as long as the post or character sheet isn't overdressed in colors, then yes I do believe that making posts pretty-looking is important. As stated above, it separates those posts that are pleasing to read and those that are just a wall of text. I find the latter to be unattractive and as a result, I usually don't read them(see that I said usually, not always).
