And the Secondary Lead - Umbra a Raven ripoff <----honestly that's more of an inside joke I am having with myself because he's a little on the weird side.

^but these two will allow us to take on different missions and make different tactical teams based on the situation that arises.

Thank you so much. I am so so so sorry. I really felt bad for asking you. I have problems, and am a visual thinker. So when I was making this RP, my mind immediately goes to comic books, not the movies, and the animated television shows. So in my head my world is very comic booky. And I have a very hard time adjusting RL characters into the comic book world I see.

So I agree it is an annoying request. And I agree I was being selfish. I should have just accepted the character. But it was jarring in my mind. Because I want everyone's photos to match and feel like they fit in this visual landscape in my mind. And I feel like a horrible person right now.

I'll look over the character a second time. But I think he's accepted. And I am going to look at the other character now that I have coffee in my system.

What the fuck! The guild's Codes strike again. On other websites its [media] or its [video]. Who honestly in their right mind was going, yeah the youtube code. It's a bit like the Guild Code for a spoiler isn't [spoiler] or simply [hide] it's HideR with an R. Who thinks of HideR? Because I don't it's not an easy thing to remember.

That's asinine. Standards and expectations are intended to change per website based on what the users of the website have laid out the rules as, otherwise they'd congregate on a single platform with uniform standards. You can't steamroll every corner of the internet to lofty or guttural standards, though if one were such as to roam from sight to sight doing so, they clearly are unsatisfied with what they are doing and should reconsider their approach before someone is obliged to explain the definition of Madness to them.

Expecting legible grammar? Yeah, that's fine to hold as a universal standard. But beyond that it's all fair game and a matter of the grounds you go stomping over.

While I agree on a technical standpoint. I am also on the spectrum. I have a greater difficult time changing and adapting as others do. And when there is one incident that happens, even on a new website, I tend to close off and become more rigid because I tried to be flexible and members steamrolled over me.

I have certain expectations and those don't change because of the website. But those expectations are not personal expectations. They are technical. How the sheet is written. How the character comes across. How much effort or how much was read of the OCC. How much understanding of the information is laid out. I don't think that changes from website to website. As those are good fundamentals of RPing and writing in general.

What's up with the majority of new/rarely seen people on the Guild (old account, low post count) becoming self-entitled bastard GMs, and very incompetent ones to boot?

I mean, being a serious/harsh GM is one thing, being a downright idiot who has no respect for anyone/doesn't understand how forum RPing normally works is a completely different story. The worst part is that the Guild is full of them these last few months. I may not be particularly acquainted with some of the older members around here, thanks to my own preferences and style, but at least I feel that there's a sense of respect between the veterans.

These new kids, they just suck...

Rules and Expectations;

Let me lay down a little bit of what I expect. While we are in the causal RP section, I apply a much looser interpretation of what Casual RP means. But I know it doesn’t mean turning out a sheet that is half assed and lacks detail. Medium depth imo, doesn’t mean barely there depth, it means Medium depth. It means showing some kind of intermediate understanding of the material you join.

I do not have crazy expectations for CS. But I do expect effort and some creativity here. Elsewise I am pretty lenient on things.

If you can provide a sheet that is interesting, creative, and written like you want to be part of this RP down below is the CS. If you believe that casual means you should be able to get away with low quality, and trust me small sheets can be quality, then do not bother moving forward to my template.

I expect maturity and respect. And I expect the understanding that I am the GM. I encourage you to give me all of your ideas. Because I think it is important that a GM listen to their members as they may provide interesting insights or interesting ideas. But also learn to take a No the first time.

Gender: [male, female, or something else entirely]

Appearance: [I prefer drawn or CGI, I will not be accepting anime photos and will make a few exceptions. This will also include your costume section]

Personality Strengths: [your characters personality strengths. What makes them shine as a person? What makes them, them, etc.]

Personality Flaws: [your character's personality flaws. What makes others around them disapprove? What are some of their habits? Ticks quirks, etc.]

Powers: [No more than 5 powers, and every power should have a drawback or limitation. No absolute powers. No omnipotent powers. Even Healing abilities will be required to have some kind of limit]

Skills: [I want 3 major Skills, and 3 minor skills. Major skills are defined as skills they use most often and proficient in. Minor skills are as defined as skills they know, but may not necessarily be as efficient in]

Weapons: [do they have any weapons? Yes or No. Yes define here]

Equipment: [what kind of equipment do they carry?]

History: [as long as you want. Minimum 2 paragraphs.]

Yes, this I am aware of, but my point is that even if he attempted to act, his actions are unlikely to be as drastic as people are making them out to be. The level of "drastic" he is capable of is measurably less powerful than that of the old superpower or its modern legacy. In addition, the hardline stances like those of the United States, that of which is no longer taking his rhetoric or behavior as acceptable, are likely to change his behavior; the consequences are clear cut.
