After delivering his first and only dummy, Shiki decided to take a short breather from his exhausting trip. Shun was probably waiting for his return, but neither of them can carry multiple dummies by themselves. No, they needed an easier way to transport them across zones, one was difficult enough. During the trip back, Shiki realized this and tried to formulate a plan in his head.

The first thought he had involved in stealing the bus, but he wasn't actually serious enough to follow through with it. Although, it did lead him to the idea of stuffing all the dummies in some kind of container, like a dumpster or something and transport them like that. But, they most likely needed additional help pushing through the rough terrain, preferably someone who's quirk revolved around power. Come to think of it, he did notice a strong biker looking chick earlier. Maybe she could be of some help, judging by her appearance alone. Was there even enough time for him to search for her and get all the dummies back to the bus? Shiki didn't want to completely abandon Shun, but he wasn't too worried about him falling behind in the exam due to his useful quirk.

It was settled then, Shiki thought it was worth a shot to score several points at once. If the Biker Chick is really as strong as she looks, then his plan will undoubtedly succeed, maybe. While heading towards the direction where he last saw the Biker Chick, he pulled out his phone and quickly texted Shun. The number exchange from earlier was being put into good use already!

“Try to collect as many dummies as you can and dump them all in one place. I have a plan to move them all at once. 🐻 with me.”

With the message sent, he proceeded to enter <Zone 5> on his own. He suspected the Biker Chick went into the deeper zones, so he planned to search through <Zone 8> first and then head back into <Zone 6> later. At least, it would allow him to scout for potential dummies to bring back with him.

Heading into Zone 5 > 8.
Action: Consuming 5 minutes to move one extra space to Zone 8.

Despite sternly declining Shun's idea at first, Shiki easily gave up trying to change the boy's mind after realizing it was pointless. He reluctantly followed the bold green haired boy and began to stagger behind when he couldn't keep up with his pace. Either Shun had a ton of energy or Shiki needed to exercise more. While they were navigating through the confusing alleyways, the only thought that came across Shiki's mind was the juice from earlier. The light jog further increased his thirst, which at least distracted him from the mysteries around every corner they took.

I should've asked for a drink...But that glasses girl was too intimidating...

When they arrived to the commercial district, the eerie vibe of the abandoned buildings sent a shiver down Shiki's spine. What a horrific sight. Something was definitely going to murder them, he can feel it. The dummy they spotted nearby with the mailbox on top of it, definitely raised some questions. However, it didn't change the fact of...

OBJECTIVE SPOTTED!

"I'll take care of this one..." He informed Shun, allowing him to search the surrounding area for additional dummies. Shiki recalled the instructor's words of how they won't be marked on the way they rescue the dummies or how they treat them. With that in mind, Shiki's USB tail extended to its maximum length of five meters towards the poor dummy. His intention was to coil part of his tail around the dummy's neck, like a noose and attempt to forcefully drag its body out from underneath the mailbox. Not an ideal way to save a civilian, but he took advantage of this still being just an exam.

"Too close..." Shiki muttered out and tried to weakly pull away from Shun's touchy hands. It was difficult enough tolerating Shun's need to be up in his personal space, but he finally broke when physical contact was involved. There was a small amount of blush on his cheeks, but after quickly readjusting his glasses to hide his embarrassment, it immediately faded away. "But, very well...I will proceed with the transfer." Then, without warning he inserted the connector into the middle of Shun's forehead. At most, he would only feel the connector gently pressing against his skin before it pushed beneath the surface, without triggering any additional sensory receptors or harming him in any way. The transfer of information wouldn't take more than ten seconds in this case, Shun's enthusiasm made this a really smooth process.

The abrupt sound of echoing screams startled Shiki and nearly petrified him in fear. It reminded him of those handful of horror games he barely logged any hours in, except this was real. The sound of destruction which followed after, further increased his stress levels. A visible bead of sweat could be seen trailing down the side of his forehead, with a clear nervous expression displayed on his face. He did not expect that kind of signal to start. Watching some of the other students take off without hesitation encouraged him to move, but he still felt uneasy about this splitting up into pairs decision. On a smaller note, he had to hold onto his hat (literally) after it being nearly blown off by the Smurf-Boy's winds.

When it was brought up, he decided to accept the Neko's offer of exchanging numbers within their group for emergency purposes. @KoL@Stern Algorithm@TheWindel

"We should get going...It will be easier for us if we can actually see through this dense fog...Let's try following that lightbulb guy." He suggested to Shun after disconnecting his tail. The thought of having better visual of their surroundings did put him at ease. If any villain attempted to approach them, they would at least be aware of it or so he thought.

About to be bamboozled into Zone 6.

Anyone here that needs to rely on someone else to pass this stupid exam should just quit and go the hell home!

Those words Blue-boy ferociously shouted did cause Shiki to stop in his tracks and hesitate for a moment. Maybe he is right, Shiki thought. It was not until Mari and the Light-bulb responded, which made him regain his confidence and cleared his doubts. Currently, his quirk is more beneficial in a group than solo. If he can manage to be useful and try his best, then that's all that matters, right? As Shiki moved forward and approached the rescue team, his eyes scanned every individual in the group and noticed a majority of them were female. If he didn't know any better, he would proudly call this his 'harem'. But, he hasn't openly displayed such interests yet, perhaps they lie elsewhere~.

He stopped a short distance away from the two girls drinking juice together. Watching the Neko and Glasses for a brief moment made his mouth a little dry, craving for a drink as well. Maybe if he introduced himself and asked politely they will share, he thought. Oh, but they were only drinking orange juice, he noticed. He personally preferred the juicy sweet tanginess of fresh pineapples, but whatever, he was still kind of thirsty. Before he could muster up the courage to ask, the green haired boy joined the group and introduced himself first.

Glitchy looking...

Shiki turned to face Shun and returned a small wave of his own before going back to warming himself up. "Tetsumi, Shiki...and I can easily collect and share information with the use of my tail...So, I can assist with surveying too. I can also increase the length of my tail up to fifteen feet, but it's not really that strong..." He replied with a soft-spoken tone and then let out a heavy sigh afterwards. Listening to himself explain his own quirk felt unsatisfying to him. Perhaps, this called for a demonstration. Shiki's tail swayed behind him in a predatory fashion, like if it was ready to strike one of them with the connector at any given moment. "If you want to try right now...We can share all of our quirk details and a bit of information about ourselves with just a little poke. It doesn't hurt at all..." He suggested, offering them a chance to experience his quirk before they start. Although, the way he moved his tail didn't exactly match up with his words.

Shiki remained silent throughout the entire bus ride, casually browsing through his phone which was three generations behind the latest model. It frustrated him that certain apps he wanted weren't compatible or simply just didn't function properly. He constantly tells himself to save up some money and get a new phone already, instead he would impulsively buy new parts for his computer or spend it on games which he only plays once before shelving them forever. He hated being caught in that boring loop, so moving to Kirisama was the first step for him to a lifestyle change. Coincidentally, it was around the same time he decided to fully commit towards becoming a hero.

After he moved into the city less than a year ago, his first impressions were exactly how he imagined it would be, a total shithole. The intensive research he has done lessened the impact of his emotions, but the destructive sight was still spine-chilling nonetheless. Not as spine-chilling as the weather this morning, it was freakin' freezing outside. Shiki was thinking he should've wore heavier clothing than just a plain hoodie, his body was clearly shivering from the cold when he first arrived on the bus. His glasses remained foggy, which didn't really bother him at all. He was feeling kind of lazy today, so instead of wiping his lenses, he tilted his head to look at his phone from underneath his glasses.

When the bus came to an abrupt stop, Shiki immediately fixed his posture from his seat with a confused expression on his face. He put away his phone in his pocket and finally cleared up his glasses before finally looking out the window, which was difficult to see due to the dense fog. Initially, he thought there was no way they could've arrived at their destination already, judging by the location. This didn't look like the kind of place to take an exam, but when the instructor appeared, it finally became clear to him.

Damn, this is not what I was expecting so early in the morning...

After following everyone else off the bus, he stood to the far side of the group with his hands rubbing against his arms, trying to keep himself warm. Despite being unprepared for this type of scenario, he felt excited and attentive now. He carefully listened to what the girl had to say and quickly realized something. Are the villains dummies as well? If they did encounter a villain, he probably won't be able to contribute anything during combat. At least, that is how he currently thought about his own quirk. His self-esteem would've taken a big hit, had it not been for the rescue portion of the exam.

Without having to see through his glasses back on the bus, he was aware some of his peers stuck out like a sore thumb. All of them appeared to be capable of carrying someone useless like him, including the girl who remained on the bus. He was relieved when some of them suggested about forming groups. The civilian rescue team as Mari pointed out was his ideal choice. Although, that may be subject to change if he somehow gets screwed over into joining the villain capture team. Either way, he hoped that he wouldn't be much of a burden to his teammates.

He began shuffling over to his desired team without saying much of a word to anyone else.

My character isn't native to Kirisama. Moved in to his aunt's place.
