The Library home of the protectors of the world heroes who stop magic from falling into the wrong hands. Protecting artifacts, baubles, and curiosities that could potentially hurt people. Of course they also hold back creatures, cults, and horrors from other dimensions. From H.P. Lovecraft to the Ark of the Covenant Librarians greatest power if that of there minds, skills they bring to to the job. The candidates to become Librarian are not strong, fast, or teeming with magical ability. They are geniuses, lovers of art, science, technology, and human achievement, Librarians use brains to solve problems.

The currently the Library is in the worst condition it has ever been, it's most recent caretaker having turned and stolen Excalibur along with other famous swords taken from history. Edward Ridge, is now alone faced with the threat of the of cult of immortals who have come together to take power in the world and save it from the humans who rule it. Believing themselves to be better caretaker's than any of the current world leaders, they have begun amassing legendary weapons that will guide them to power.

The Library realizing the severity of threat has decided to call forth additional Librarians to aid Edward in this new battle. Additionally the call for a Guardian has gone out, the Guardian is serve as the brawn to the brains. Guarding and serving as the moral compass for the Librarian ensuring that they have some protection while in the field.

Edward Ridge

Name: Edward Ridge

Appearance: A while not psychically imposing at 5" 10' weighing at hundred 180 pounds. Edward is rather capable, having been a fencer all his life. While he clearly isn't very strong, the is a light behind his green eyes that tells everyone just how smart he is. His short brown hair is mop as if he has never properly combed a day in his life. Often in a T-shirt and jeans, refusing to dress like past librarians he is clean shaven and wear's a cocky attitude on his sleeve.

Age: 37

Position: (Senior) Librarian

Former Employment: Fencing teacher

Short Bio: Born and raised in Nevada Edward was always eager to find treasure even as a boy, he took fencing as a way to feel more like a member of a bygone age. Getting a scholarship to Duke University he moved there and began studying, a genius as well as a talented fencer his full ride netted him his first two PHD's. Continuing his work ended up with four more PHD's from Duke before receiving his letter inviting him to the Librarian six years ago. He accepted the position and came into his own as worked in a world of magic and power few others dared to comprehend.

The Librarians caretaker, was Jeremy who was a long time friend and assist to Librarians. Jeremy was better known as the Count of St. Germain, a very famous and rich explorer who was attained immortality. While not a violent man, he changed sides because of the state or the world believing that the world need men wiser than all to rule it. Stealing Excalibur and it's scabbard he abandoned the library went to The Blades of God. Immortals who had come together to see the world changed for the better. Edward distraught about his teacher abandoning the Library has begun work to find this cult and stop them. Yet man alone might not be enough.

Ariin heard his orders heard his orders then heard Mai planning to detonate her Frame, Sorus might not have known the girl well but he knew what she was thinking day to save lives or kill Cruxi. Ariin flipped his comms on as he lined up a shot. "Mai, get yourself together. I've got your back." He told her taking his first shot and the sniper over in C7 before swinging the gun around to line up on the squad by Mai. "Firing Pompey." He said cracking off a second shot at the squad by the angle was good should impact near the squad and toast them. Probably wouldn't toast Mai at all.

Ariin had taken two shots, he wasn't sure if he had time to get clear but he started to move even if he had to throw the Goliath off the roof and hope he made out of range. He opened his comms. "Hey you guys stay safe." Ariin laughed with a tongue in cheek attitude. He really didn't care if he could make it clear, he bought them time and that was what mattered.
