Important items:

• Deck of Cards: She is always up for a Poker game.
• Silver Cigarette Case: Cancer tubes in a sweet packaging. Excellent.
• Coil Gun: To discipline troops and swat gnats.
• Omnitool: Miniature Computer that allows for communication, calculation, augmented reality navigation and small-scale hacking. Jackal uses it to watch boxing fights.
• Nano-toolbox: A quick box filled with multipurpose nanites, useful for fixing stuff. She only ever uses it when she can't be bothered to find someone to fix her stuff.

Short Bio: Jacqueline, known as Jackie for her closest friends, was born as the daughter of a wealthy family of plutocrats in Earth. Having no small shortage of wealth and fortune on her household, she grew to be hedonistic, spoiled and debased, blatantly leeching her family's resources for her own amusement. Orgies, expensive bets, illegal races through Earth's hive metropolis, illegal alien drug consumption, you name it, and Jacqueline probably has done it in the past.

One would expect of such a person to quickly drop out of all educational pursuits, but Jacqueline knew that happy parents were parents that turned a blind eye to her debauchery, so she applied just enough of her talent (she was a fan of the law of minimal effort, after all). She prodded through this unstable equilibrium until one night, one too many drinks, made her make the outrageous bet she would zoom through the military officer academy.

After the fallout of such claim (and the hangover) happened, Jacqueline pondered that being caught in military service was alright. Being a large, huge monstrosity she could always find a cosy spot to laze around and let her subordinates do the work. And then the war happened. Of course, this wasn't to the liking of Jacqueline, but it got her gears shifting. If she did it well enough in the war she could shoot herself in the foot or something, claim war wound and retire as a heroine with a fat pension. But they had to win though. So she... applied herself to her tasks.

Things were going well, but then the tides turned against her. Her objectives was no longer doing something and milking it for her entire life, but now even her debased sweet lifestyle was endangered. Her surge in competence made her climb ranks, and make her efforts more visible (and the inability to hide her slacking with it), but she saw it as a lesser evil. If everyone else was gone and impoverished, where would she get her alcohol and gambling from? And then her superior Admiral stubbornly repeated the mantra of the battle of Proxima. Hell, even she could see the trap it was. Only Alexander Kherol did seem to notice it. She wished she was under his command, instead. The fighting that happened could have been avoided.

But she was chucked in the trap, alongside her men. She couldn't even turn tail and run, the idiot Admiral of hers spouting Ascendancy propaganda, until a bad case of debris in the brain shut him up. That left her with one problem. She was the surviving highest rank. Jacqueline cursed under breath and decided for the first time, she would apply herself like there was no tomorrow. Captain Jacqueline was responsible for evacuating half of the survivors from the hole they had dug themselves in. Incidentally, she was promoted on virtue of being one of the highest ranking officers left standing after the fiasco.

But that mean that Admiral Kherol now could look at her closely and no more slacking opportunities. She wished she had become a lazy corporate cat instead.

Important items:

• Memento:A bone carving with an intricate design and the motto "Per Aspera ad Astra" a saying in a ancient Earth language. A memento of her father.
• Persephone Chassis: A near full-conversion cyborg body, it is designed with versatility and interfacing in mind, as as such it lacks the plating heavier models have. It also allows short-term exposure to vacuum without major issues.
• Argonaut Navigation Interface: An inbuilt cranial interface that allows Jackal to display the smart information of her ship's systems, thus allowing a significant reduction in reaction times.
• Omni-tool: Miniature Computer that allows for communication, calculation, augmented reality navigation and small-scale hacking.
• Galactic Credits: Some credits, mostly for small change operations
• Railgun Rifle: A weapon that operates on a similar, but more powerful principle than coil weapons. This weapon has a recoil so powerful that it requires cyborg limbs to be operated safely (normal arms would shatter upon firing), but it packs quite the punch.
• Nanite Toolbag: A multi-purpose bag for performing small-scale repairs.

Short Bio: Tabitha was born in the Taurus-445 system, one of the fringe worlds that the Ascendancy of Man possesed prior to the war. A system characterized by a single rocky, desertic but inhabited planet, surrounded by vast gas giants and Asteroid fields, the tricky gravity of the system and large amount of planetoids made both space mining a very profitable, but dangerous business. The remoteness of the system and treacherous navigation through the debris made the system fairly isolated, and not all of the Ascendancy policies and fancies got through.

Cheap metal and a large number of accidents made that the population of Taurus-445 had a rather staggering rate of injuries that had required cybernetic implants, and biotechnology was almost unheard of. Tabitha grew up with people looking half-vending machine, half penal colony reject, although the scarce resources of the system made them develop a strong sense of community and unity. From a young age, Tabitha had always a magical touch when it came to precision machinery, and indeed, at age 17 she was chosen to be one of the Vultures, half miners, half mad pilots that bore in the asteroids fields in search of minerals. She did acceptably well, only losing the occasional body part and limb.

War then happened, and the entire system was drafted. Due to their backwater and unimportant location, mixed with their good skills at navigation through complicated space areas, most of Taurus-445 recruits, including the Vultures, were given the frontline transport and offensive jobs. The Ascendancy bled them to keep pressing on the Rau've. One day, Tabitha realized that she was the most senior combatant among her diminished troop, and the thought filled her with dread.

Proxima was the next battle. Tabitha was thrown in the meat grinder, and not expected to survive, only a strategy to buy time so those of core worlds would survive. Against all expectations, the pilot skillfully kept fighting to the last sputter of her ship's thrusters, being a tenacious little fly in the oinment for the Rau've crushing victory. When she looked back, though, less than one tenth of her comrades made it out alive. Her body was mangled beyond repair, requiring more cybernetic fixes to even stay alive, which earned the pity and disgust of her superiors. She was discharged honourably due to wounds (being little more than a torso and one arm with wounds and wires dangling), forever designing her a cripple, and sent her merry way back to the depopulated Taurus-445.

She decided she had enough, and she established herself as space pirate, making her base of operations in the crevices of said system.

@King Cosmos yeah I did see. The idea was Sam just keeps him distracted so everyone can charge up some super giant mega ultra wave attacks and hit him all at once. Even if it didn’t kill Raditz, it’d have killed Sam which is what I still intend on happening.

However if too many people want to die then it won’t be a viable plan.

Right then lads and any potential lasses, after this round of posting I’m going to try implementing Sam’s plan again. I’m going to assume Raditz’s scouter has been destroyed and Sam’s going to jump in and use his Mist Form technique to try and distract him long enough for everyone to power up a joint attack.

I would appreciate people buying into it. Ultimately I want Sam to die and even if his death is futile, at least I can get out of everyone’s way and just get on to Snake Way.

Innocence Lost: Space Western Science Fantasy (Temporarily Open Again!)

When the man entered unanounced, Pallas knew that something was up with the High Command. Private talks were exchanged, and messages were dispatched. She had an inkling that this was going to be a long night for Admiral Kherol. Finishing the last of dispatches, the woman stood up in her tailored suit, as she logged out of her computer. She eyed her omni-tool. Canteen was about to close, and it would not do that a man of Alexander Kherol's standing would be left without dinner just because his job.

She dug in her heels and trotted towards the nearest break room, which held a cornucopia of kitchenware and tools. Opening the standard issue fridge, she found a prize. Chicken breasts and vegetables. She would be able to make a good meal with this. Well, she wouldn't match the top of the line galactic cooks, but it was leagues above the gruel the file and rank ate.

Tying her hair and donning an apron, she cut the meat and vegetables into pieces with skill and dedication, finishing with a quick TCHUNK on the cutting board, the knife standing upright. The pan on the stove did the rest as she vigorously shook the meat and the dice-sized vegetables, splashing them with some seasoning and balsamic vinegar.

Now, only one thing remained. The coffee. She poured her special brew into a cup, and placed the well-presented dish on a plate as she strode confidently in Alexander Kherol's room, after discarding the apron. She eyed at those present, before addressing her superior.

"I have taken the liberty of procuring a meal for you, Admiral. Canteen is about to close at this hour." She added, beaming a smile and leaving the tray besides the man. She had done it quite right this time. Only just a few floaty, crunchy bits in the Admiral's coffee.
