Current Almost exactly one year since I step away from being here, and a lot can change in that amount of time. Here's hoping I can find a game or two and see how things go from here.

Bio

WIP I'm coming back after forever so clearing all of this seems like a good choice.

Just few basic things.

1. Left for my own sort of health reasons.
2. I ran a game for almost a decade when I stepped away from everything.
3. Currently working on getting an interest check up for the game I am going to hopefully be able to run.

All set, that's all for now.

"It's alright, don't worry about it. And yeah well, I know that's a problem Carolina, but I also didn't think that I was going to do something like that!" Lance said, and it was even more evident that the whole thing that just happened was freaking him out. Truthfully he was feeling the anger, or more of panic and frustration, starting to build up yet again, and he was practically beating it down with a baseball bat. He wasn't all too sure what to really say as he stood up off the ground now, looking at the others as they indicated which direction they needed to go.

Thinking for a moment, he looked at the others, "...You might not have to carry me. I have another idea on how I might be able to keep up and get around..." he said to Carolina, before he took a deep breath and a dim light seemed to surround him slightly, but it was only barely visible. After a moment, they'd be able to see that he actually wasn't touching the ground any more, but seemed to be hovering in the air.

"...So apparently surrounding myself with light and trying to fly that way seems to work, come on, we're running out of time let's hurry up," with those last words, he started heading down the direction that the others had indicated as being the way towards the device. Eventually, they'd find themselves in another room that on all sides had doors, and they'd have to choose one if they wanted to move on with everything.

The device's signal was coming from the door on the left now, but who knew what was waiting just behind it. "Okay... So anyone know which way to go?" he asked, since he still didn't know where the device was.

"Yeah, recommendation? Don't mess with them, they've tried to kill a lot of people... Several times... And something involving the Phoenix or whatever and them then wanting to kill Jean for something or whatever... The details are lost to me, I only was half paying attention to that conversation aside from Shi'ar, bad. Think their Empress or whatever had a relationship at one point with Xavier, but that was only rumors..." Mary explained somewhat when Bethany teleporting them back out of the room with the Shi'ar and she walked over to Allison, Guin and Pietro.

The robot in front of them looked up slightly, and it actually looked like he was smiling. "You know self friend Danger? How is she? Is she with you?" he said, looking at everyone around. "Oh yes, self does knows X-Mansion, that is where self friend Danger is. Also where self friend Doug is!"

"...Doug, as in like, Doug Ramsey as in Cypher?"

"Yes, that is him! Do you know self friend Doug?"

"Uh, no, I haven't actually talked to him, but I know who he is, he sometimes hangs around the mansion on occasion. The power to understand literally any language, no matter how foreign it is, or how alien it is to him... Some people think it's a lame power, but honestly that would be a cool thing to be able to do if you ask me."

"Yes that is him! And his powers are not lame! Oh self friend Xavier was nice to self, even though self was scared and frightened when first arriving on Earth and attacked people. Self friend helped to ease self's worries and make things right. You see, self is also a mutant, just a mutant for my race."

"The Technarchy, which is ruled by the Magus."

"Yes them."

"So... They did pose an interesting thing. Will you help us out? Since those you mentioned are all on Earth right now, and if we don't stop Galactus they and everyone else will die."

"Oh self can't allow that to happen. Self will help!"

Oh great, another toaster to deal with... And why is he just constantly saying self? Doesn't this guy know anything about personal pronouns?

"You need to get one thing straight, the world isn't all sunshine and rainbows, you need to get your head out of the clouds and into damn reality. Weet jy wat jou idioot is? U is ernstig op my senuwees, as u die feit in ag neem dat u nie een van hierdie dinge ernstig opneem nie en u waarskynlik sal doodmaak. Eintlik, gaan voort en doen dit, want as jy dit oorleef, sal ek en jy meer as 'n paar woorde hê, geen magte nie, niks nie, en ek sal jou gat in 'n Danger Room-sessie skop." Mira didn't even really acknowledge the fact that she had changed what language she was speaking, it was clear though from her tone that she was clearly pissed off at Iris' entire existence at this point.

Most people where she came from were either really good with tech, or really good fighters, and sometimes they were both. Iris didn't seem to have any of those qualities as Mira followed after the others to the circle of hallways down below. When she heard Iris' suggestion of splitting up, that annoyed her even more. "In what reality does splitting up ever end well? Usually when the group splits up, someone tends to either get severely injured or dead. I can go through just about everything in case you actually care about that. Sure, I wasn't on the team the entire time for things, but I heard about things. Group split up at Magneto's base, a team member died. Team essentially splitting up, half the team got caught by a group known as OMEN, and then a future version of one of our team members died. Then the Mesmero thing happened where everyone was divided because of mind control, and several people ended up with severe injuries in some capacity or another. We only split up into smaller groups of 4 or 5 this time, since that made some sense, but splitting off now into just groups of 2 would be suicide. So got any other bright ideas on how this will actually work out if we did that? Since yes, the one smart thing you said was that it was a bad idea."

Mira thought for a moment, before flipping up the face plate of the helmet, looking around a little bit for a moment, before walking over to one of the two, and tapping it ever so slightly. Putting a hand against the wall, she let out a very loud shriek down the hallway, the sound vibrating along the walls, and she closed her eyes. Once the sound stopped, she walked over to the second hallway, before proceeding to do the exact same thing. She stumbled slightly though, getting a small dizzy spell as a pain sort of shot through her chest. Catching herself on the wall, she pointed towards the first of the two hallways.

"That way," she managed to more or less croaked out. Her throat was burning, which made it hard for her to talk at this point, as well as her knowing perfectly well that most people who have a pacemaker in their chest would not be doing anything strenuous or something that would fall under contact sports. Like fighting, saving the world, minor details like that.

"Ooooh I love the second Star Wars movie, Empire Strikes back is the best!" Andrew said before he watched as Watts zipped off. "Hey wait up! Seriously, make things difficult don't you?" With those last words, he took off back downstairs. After a few minutes, he came flying up, having put his suit on, and it seemed to be working somewhat. He knew that there were probably a few problems with the suit since he rushed it, but he was perfectly fine trying to do something at this point. Hearing Elara, he looked at the weapon she had in her hands. "Oh that, it's a weaponized contained explosion of sorts that makes it so that it seems contained but then it can explode. Long story short, think kind of like a grenade launcher almost, except it doesn't really have much of a delay. It makes things go boom!"

"...Why the hell is that a thing that you have?"

"I got bored."

"Okay then," she said with a shrug as she raced outside, frost emanating from her hands. She thought about Evelyn's idea, and she instantly ran and slid along a bit of an ice bridge, swirling around the nearest robot and she started sending ice flying. Unfortunately for her, her attacks didn't even seem to do much. Her attempts at causing the ground around them to be frozen didn't seem to be working at all either. "This isn't working!"

The robots now were having their chance to attack, as a laser shot out from their eyes, one smashed the ice bridge that Sapphire was on, sending her flying off and slamming into the ground, and another laser slammed into Arthur, throwing him back, burns appearing on his body. There was another laser shot, but it went wide and missed Belladonna. "Anyone have any other ideas?" Sapphire asked the others, managing to pick herself up off of the ground, before one of the remaining robots suddenly collapsed.

Seems like Andrew had managed to fly up there, shrink down and start wrecking havoc on the wiring within one of the robots (specifically the one Elara had been shooting at) and managed to finally take it down entirely as he reappeared right next to her in his suit. "...So that was fun... Not going to do that again since not sure if this thing is working properly so that I'd be able to do it again... Though I do have I think an EMP blaster or something downstairs too hidden somewhere, that might be more useful..."

The ground rumbled, as one more robot seemed to join the fray, except it wasn't entirely alone, this one had someone on its shoulder, and the man with the robot smirked slightly at the group. "Well aren't you a sorry looking lot, this shouldn't be all too difficult now should it?" he said with a bit of a laugh, looking at the group.

Theresa Sparks and Frederick Flynn

Location: The Quinjet

Sparky wasn't all too sure of what to think regarding the fact that they were going to some random unknown hidden city on the moon. She was fidgeting slightly, messing with the ring on her hand slightly as she glanced outside to see where exactly they were going. There was a bit of laughter in the back of her mind, as she saw that Goose had taken to a spot up on the dashboard by where Raynor was flying the Quinjet. It was amusing, the fact that they were taking a cat up with them to space, and she had no idea why though, but Goose seemed comfortable in his spot sleeping. Almost like the cat was at home in space.

The fact that they were going to space was still a little strange to her, but she was willing to just roll with it. This was a problem that couldn't wait be avoided, especially considering how many lives were at stake. One of their team members already had fallen ill with the disease that was effecting mutants across the globe, and she hoped they would find a solution to it soon. Sparky didn't even really care about the fact that she could get sick and maybe die, all that mattered to her was trying to save everyone else.

"It definitely is different then being on the ground on Earth that's for sure," Flynn said with a slight smile towards Bonnie as he glanced out the window. It was more then a bit weird, being in space, and if he had been told when he was in high school that he'd be going to space he would have told that person that they were insane. This sort of thing seemed fairly strange to him, and who knew that there was a secret city or whatever on the moon? It was more then a bit strange to him.

"Might I point out Raynor, you I think are the only one whose really been to space, so cut us a little slack why don't you?" he commented towards the Asgardian, rolling his eyes slightly, somewhat annoyed by Raynor's comment towards Bonnie. When he saw them go through the barrier or whatever and saw the city, he was amazed somewhat at the city, but more of somewhat concerned that it was partially destroyed. That definitely was more then a little bit strange, especially if this is where the bomb came from.

"...If there was a war, I would think it would still be going, a civil war or unrest wouldn't be over with in a few hours one would hope. So wouldn't they still obviously be fighting?" Sparky commented in response to Cassandra suggesting a civil war among the inhumans.

Allison and Guin
"...Considering the fact that they haven't said anything regarding what they found on the other end of where they went, not sure if that's good or bad..." Pietro commented, looking at the other two. Guin would easily notice that two more dots were added onto the monitor of life forms as two disappeared from the area they were in. Unfortunately, she'd also be able to tell that the two dots popped up in a different cell then the singular alien one, meaning that odds were that Mary and Beth landed in the wrong cell. Which could be a horribly bad thing all things considering.

"So... What do we do now? We can continue down the hallway or something I guess..."

"Aye, Lance, listen to the witch and return to your physical form. The astral plane is not meant for mortal men," Thor advised. "We must hurry with our quest - I fear our time grows short."

"Your opinion is definitely noted Thor!" Lance snapped, not even really caring that he knew that Thor couldn't hear him at all. He was trying his best to stay calm, but he was finding it incredibly difficult to do so, since he was for one, still floating in an astral form, and two he had freaking just hulked out! Despite the fact that he did have a slightly better relationship with his father, and the fact that when he was 16 it more or less was confirmed that he probably was never going to be able to shift (but that apparently didn't take into account a possible blood transfusion) it didn't stop him from being able to panic a lot regarding the entire situation.

He decided to just try what Carolina said to him, and he went and essentially stepped into his own body and it was almost like falling asleep, or more of waking up in regards to this anyway. Stirring slightly, he put a hand to his head as he opened up his eyes, and he had a majorly splitting headache that was not going away. "Okay, did not need to know how my dad felt after freaking waking up from something like that... Seriously, this is the worst headache in the universe and it really needs to go away..."

Lance glanced up at everyone else, but he was staying on the ground, "Okay, which way do we need to go or whatever, I can't tell for slightly obvious reasons." If someone looked, the tracker for the device seemed to be coming from the right end of the hallway somewhere.

"Let's go then," Mary said, nodding her head to Beth as she decided to use shadow travel to get around. Her own powers over plants made it so she could do something similar with plant life, but considering they were on a spaceship that made it near impossible for her to do that. However, the one thing she hadn't been expecting was to suddenly be transported into what clearly wasn't a room occupied by a robot looking thing. There was one thing that she did recognize relating to the aliens was the outfits they wore and their faces in a way at least. What she recognized them as was only because of stories, usually relating to the fact that the aliens in question had a long history with Xavier and the mansion in general.

"Uh... Bethany? They um... These are members of the Shi'ar Empire... And no, they are not friendly, ever..." she whispered to her, as she looked around at the group that more or less surrounded them, and they definitely looked pissed off at the pair of them.

"Who dares intrude upon our residence?" one of them asked (it was clearly a man who was speaking to them)

"Uh... We don't mean to be here... Actually I think we were just leaving... Right Bethany?" Mary said, glancing over at her. This was definitely not good.

"You aren't going anywhere," he said, before a few of them instantly stabbed at them with their spear like weaponry. Bethany would get a jab in the side, and thankfully the armor was able to protect her somewhat, however the blade managed to breach the armor slightly, causing a bit of a knick in her side that started bleeding. Be grateful for an iron man suit! Mary only fared slightly better, as she didn't get stabbed through the armor, however, one of them smacked her across the head hard enough to knock her to the ground. "We don't like unknown beings in our realm!"

"Yeah... Knew that already..."

Mira rolled her eyes slightly at Iris. "Okay, sorry to burst your bubble, but now is really not the time for flower crowns. Since we are currently on an alien spaceship, that could kill us at any turn. So making any sort of flower crown is really really really not a top priority don't you think? And all clear is generally used not just in a military function, but also used in various other ways when one typically does not want to be caught, so maybe you should learn to pay a little more attention," she said to Iris, her accent came through more then it typically did when she spoke.

In truth, Mira was more then a bit annoyed that Iris was more or less not taking this entire mission seriously. Following after Neil in the hallway, she used the suit's internal computer to scan for any nearby aliens, and luckily she only detected them for the moment. "It's just us for the moment it appears. However we need to tread cautiously in order to avoid any more unwelcome surprises. Oh, and Iris, you might want to actually try fighting something, since unfortunately we do not need a bard in the party, especially considering it doesn't really do much in reality. Encouraging people is fine, but perhaps you should actually try fighting. Even without abilities one should learn to defend oneself."

With those last words, she glanced towards the end of the hallway that Neil had indicated. "Let's get going then shall we? We can't stand around here all day."

"Going to be blunt, she never has cared much for the law considering her history, she doesn't trust anyone, and does not surprise me that she'd call you sweetie or something like that. She has a bit of an attitude and doesn't care really about anyone else but herself for the most part. Not that surprising really all things considering," he said to Annabelle as he waited for his sister to (hopefully) pick up the phone. It was a fifty fifty shot for her to answer the phone, and right now he was hoping she'd answer.

He let out a small sigh of relief as he heard Megan's voice on the other end of the line. "Hey there Meg, listen what's going on with you?" he asked her, glancing over towards Isabella slightly as she asked Annabelle if she was adopted. "Heard that you called the police for a kidnapping attempt or a murder something, what's going on mind explaining what's happening on your end to me? Since you have me slightly worried about what's going on."

Rosalia Rider

Location: the Park

She rolled her eyes slightly at everyone else, wondering who they were in ordering her around. Rosalia wasn't one to just follow orders, she did whatever the hell she wanted without anyone else telling her what to do. Everyone around her was making suggestions, well, to her it felt more like orders really. Suggestions usually didn't have fireballs, dead bodies and supposed fairy tales involved in the conversations. This was getting way too weird in her mind, and everyone was just crowding around her.

"Okay look, I ain't hanging around with you all at a freaking diner. For several reasons, one being my chosen profession typically means no going out for food. Like, ever. Secondly, I don't know you people, I followed after him because of my own curiosity, and I got to meet a cute puppy who I would not want to leave in a freaking car in order to go out for food at a diner. You should never leave pets for long periods of time in a car by themselves, that is just flat out stupidity!" she snapped at Rose before she picked the puppy up into her arms and glanced back at Megan. "Considering my criminal record, you do not have to tell me twice about getting the hell out of here," she added, "Come on Lucky, let's go." With those last words, she instantly started heading out of the park.

"I mean, yeah, we didn't get this just a few minutes ago, but still... You can't rush things honestly," she responded to Leda's comments, giggling slightly at her words. Thinking for a moment, she just shook her head at her friend. "I mean, you do have a point in the fact that this should have been all figured out yesterday. Then again, since when has anything been so simple? So honestly I'm not surprised at all if it takes a little while for something kind of cool to pop up."

Mary glanced over as a ship appeared overhead, and she couldn't help but have her eyes grow a bit wide. It certainly was an interesting looking ship, and at least in her opinion, it definitely was worth the wait. She wandered over towards where Andy was in order to check up on her and noticed Demetri's comments."Uh, Demetri going to be blunt, pretty certain you got that story mixed up with another. I think you meant Noah's Ark. Jonah is the guy who got swallowed by a giant fish, so that's a pretty big difference. Since Noah had the ark and was perfectly fine on top of the water, while Jonah was eaten by a fish and ended up in the water. But on a different note that is an awesome ship!"

Jason and Janelle Gauger

Location: Camp Half-Blood - The Divine Cabins -> The Big House

"Alright then, let's get going I guess? Lead the way and we'll be right behind you Kristen," Janelle said to her, given the girl a bit of a smile as she used her cane to move along the pathway, following along after her, not really caring all too much if her brother decided to tag along. He still was being more then a little bit of a pain in her mind, but she figured he'd be following her until they had to go their separate ways for the quest and what not.

Jason rolled his eyes slightly at his sister, before he followed along after her, figuring that he might as well see what was going on with Zeke after all. It did seem weird that the guy hadn't shown up to meet up with Janelle or Kristen, but he figured that maybe the extremely annoying guy had something he needed to do first before catching up with them. After all, the quest or whatever seemed like it was majorly important, and despite him not caring much for Zeke he figured he may as well give him the benefit of the doubt with this one.

Once they reached the Big House, Janelle heard Kristen more or less scold Zeke for not coming to find them earlier, for going up to the Big House of all places instead. She had to stop herself from giggling slightly in response to that, but she listened in on what he was saying. "Oh I remember that dream... It was strange being able to put faces to your names and not have to rely on the descriptions other people can get a little bit annoying..."

"Weird dream? I'm probably the only one whose confused here, so honestly, not going to ask or even bother trying to figure out what you're going on about..." her brother responded, shaking his head slightly. He then glanced back over towards the direction they had come from, and saw the giant ship that was now floating over the Dining Pavilion. "...Okay, not going to lie, that is a really really really cool looking ship," he said, before whispering slightly to his sister to more or less describe what the boat looked like.

Gamma Team

Members: Sapphire, Havok, Sunshine, Magik
Location: Hallway #4 -> Throne Room -> Limbo -> Throne Room
Skills: Disease Manipulation, Survival, Enhanced Accuracy, Perception, Ice Attacks, Medical Knowledge
"Guess it's just the four of us," Havok commented, standing in hallway #4 with the rest of his group. No one had explored this hallway yet. He did feel a little better knowing that Feedback had decided to stay behind, as she wasn't in the emotional or physical state to handle a threat like this. She was just a kid - yet unlike Sunshine and Magik, she didn't have any skills for combat. If someone came at her, he doubted she could defend herself.

Magik produced her glowing Soulsword. "Let's go slay the dragon." She then walked down the hallway without a second thought. Sunshine stared after her for a moment, her cheeks bright red before she hands started to glow green, surrounded by a sort of mist. She didn't expect to see Sinister again, not after what she had done to him. It was probably foolish and naive of her, yet she was young. She hadn't fought an immortal geneticist before with insane powers.

"We can kill these people, right?" Sunshine asked. "Veil isn't here to say no..."

"I'm here to tell you no," Sapphire somewhat snapped at Sunshine, a bit annoyed that she even thought about that sort of thing. She might be many things, but Sapphire did have some standards as to what it was that they could or couldn't do. From what she heard they couldn't exactly kill Sinister anyway if they ran into him, but still. No matter how much it seemed like someone deserved it, it wasn't something to be taken lightly, and no one deserved to die. "Be careful where we're going, and no killing! Do not ask about that again, got it?" With those last words, she followed along after Magik, hoping that she understood the whole, don't kill anyone thing too. She would stop her from killing someone if she had to, but she just hoped that she didn't have to.

Magik turned back to look at Sunshine, giving her a bit of a wink. "Da, no killing." Sunshine smirked slightly in return, giving Magik a bit of a nod. If the adults here didn't have the common sense to kill nazis, then she and Magik would just have to do it. Captain America killed nazis all the time, right? It was righteous. It was patriotic, even.

"You've never seen more fatherly, Sapphire," Havok teased her. "Have you considered picking up dad jokes as a side hobby? Or practiced saying I'm not mad, I'm disappointed into the mirror?"

The teens stopped in front of the first door of the hallway, Sunshine opening it up slowly. It looked like a mixture between a study and a throne room. There were various books and texts open on a magnificent ebony desk. A grand chair with scarlet furnishings looked more fit for a king than for use in an office. Diagrams and medical images were pinned to the wall, most of them with subject names noted on them. Havok grimaced, spotting S. Summers and J. Grey on a few X-ray print-outs. Sinister was obsessed with the union of Cyclops and Phoenix, that was no secret.

Sunshine could hardly read, but the images were enough to enrage her. She didn't need to be able to comprehend the words to know that these were records of harm done to mutants. "So is this like.... the lair within the lair?" Sunshine commented. By the throne of sorts was a monitor, showing a live feed of various places in Sinister's lair.

She shot a bit of a glare towards the girls, as if to say something along the lines of Try something and I will stop you whether you want me to or not. It was going to be her only warning to them, and she turned her glare on Havok this time regarding dad jokes. "How about you shut up Havok," she said as they entered the room. She saw his facial expression and glanced over towards the medical images, and she totally understood that it would probably be insanely weird considering Sinister was obsessed or something with his brother. However, something caused her to stop, and she looked around the room slightly, she had an uneasy feeling creeping up on her that would not go away. "...We're being watched," she said to the others, and she was more then ready to start throwing ice around if something tried to attack them.

"He has his Marauders," Magik explained. "Not all of them unwilling slaves." She wasn't alarmed at the thought of facing Sinister or his minions, despite having been made forcibly into a Hound herself. The medicine Sapphire had given her earlier was keeping her mind clear and focused.

"I don't hear or see anyone," Sunshine pointed out. "He's super dramatic, if he was watching us he would have come out by now. Besides, I hit him with a bunch of nasty diseases... There's no way Sinister is up and moving already."

"...Yeah, there's no one here Sapphire," Havok agreed. "It's just us in here."

"Oh don't you dare try and make me feel paranoid!" Sapphire snapped at him, clearly getting more then a little annoyed with him as frost started emanating from her hands and she started glancing around the room, trying to find just who was watching them. Clearly everyone else was blind as a bat or something, and eventually, she noticed that the shadows by the throne thing were totally off. "Got you," she muttered, before she sent a blast of ice flying that way. Unfortunately, her attack didn't hurt her target, however it did reveal her target. Standing there having been protected by a force field was none other then Sinister himself. "Told you I wasn't crazy," she mumbled under her breath.

"Bravo, bravo," Sinister clapped, smirking as he looked at the group. He seemed to be entirely healed, despite Sunshine gravely injuring him earlier that day. He was even dressed in a new outfit of a similar style to his previous one, signifying him as one of the X-Men's most formidable foes. "And here I thought you were simply a pretty face.... How good of you to bring Illyana back to me."

"She's not going anywhere with you, you nazi piece of shit!" Sunshine declared, stepping in front of Magik protectively. She didn't care that Magik's sword looked incredibly intimidating. She liked talking with her and unlike Leighton and Max, Magik didn't make her feel like inferior street trash. She felt like a person. And there was no way that she was going to let Sinister take away a member of her new family from her. "I can make sure the disease sticks this time," Sunshine threatened.

"Okay, you were right," Havok mumbled, sending off a blast at Sinister but it just hit Sinister's force field harmlessly.

"Do try harder than that, Mr. Summers."

"How about you shut the hell up?" Sapphire said towards Sinister as she sent more ice flying at him. Unlike everyone else, she actually managed to get past his force fields and ice managed to cut up his face a little bit, but it didn't do much. Her next attack didn't do any damage at all as it more or less was just a glorified snowball that ended up hitting him. "...This guy is super annoying," she muttered under her breath, looking right at him still.

"Manners maketh the mutant, Miss Clarke," Sinister chastised. "I am certain a boy in Hawaii would agree with me." His eyes flashed knowingly.

Illyana Rasputina wasn't about to listen to his monologue. Using her Soulsword, she created one of her stepping disc portals, reappearing above Sinister. She landed on his back, sending the formidable mutant to the ground from the sudden attack. "Let's take this outside," Magik then threatened. She created yet another portal, dragging the entire group through. They weren't in Sinister's lair anymore - he was cut off from anyone who might have tried to aid him, any of his Marauders or equipment or escape routes. Fire and brimstone surrounded them.

"This is Limbo - where I rule."

Havok, the younger sibling of one of the X-Men, was no stranger to sudden changes of scenery like this. He sent off a blast at Sinister, only for Sinister to telekinetically deflect it, striking a boulder of pure obsidian. Sunshine, meanwhile, was a bit overwhelmed. They were in hell as far as she could tell. The closest she had ever gotten to this was the fallout in New York after the Chitauri Invasion. Or maybe the flames of her apartment complex in D.C. as it burned down. She could see what looked like vultures circling ahead and she gulped slightly.

But she hated Sinister way more than she was terrified of this place.

Sunshine stood her ground, whipping up a stomach flu as she threw it at Sinister. Her secondary mutation kicked in, allowing her aim to be perfect. Sinister failed to deflect the condensed green misty orb, the disease hitting him and starting to spread throughout his body. He looked a bit green himself, about to vomit everywhere. The geneticist couldn't focus enough to send out an attack at the moment - his guard was down. Now was the moment to strike, before he managed to recover and return fire of his own.

"Whoa..." she managed to say as the world shifted and they were definitely not in that lab or lair or whatever it was anymore. Her blood ran cold (a bit ironic) when Sinister mentioned something and she was about to send more ice at him, but he ended up sending her flying backwards with his telekinesis, knocking her to the ground. "Okay, that's it!" she snapped as she got up and raised her hand over her head, a large shard of ice materializing out of thin air. Throwing it like a javelin, it ran straight through Sinister, and there was a lot of blood coming from the injury.

Sinister staggered backwards for a moment, yet his wound healed rapidly before their eyes. As a master geneticist, the primary object of his experiments was himself. He smiled at Sapphire as the only trace remaining of the injury was the tear in his clothing and the accompanying blood stains. "You should be afraid. I'm a god." He wasn't unnerved to be in Limbo. Perhaps that itself was suspicious. He then sent large blasts of concussive force at the four mutants, sending the teenagers flying backwards yet missing Sapphire and Havok.

"I grew up in Hell. I'm not afraid of anything but myself," Magik snarled, coming back up to her feet. Her pupils went white as she began to chant in an infernal tongue. "Occidere eum. Occidere eum. Occidere eum. Occidere eum. Occidere eum." Massive gashes then appeared on Sinister's body, the blood from his wounds a thick blast substance rather than a rich red. Sunshine complemented Magik's sorcery, throwing clouds of influenza at Sinister and her aim was true. Sinister's vision was blurring, he was bleeding deeply, and Havok sent a blast at him that Sinister narrowly managed to deflect with his force fields.

"...How the hell is he still alive?" Sunshine asked, shocked as Sinister's wounds were visibly healing yet again. She had heard stories about only one mutant before with that sort of healing factor - Wolverine. He was something of a legend, especially to the homeless mutants living on the streets in DC.

"He's got regenerative healing, and last I checked he's immortal, so makes things a little bit difficult to be able to keep him down," Sapphire pointed out before she sent shards flying at Sinister, only for them to come flying right back at her, she tried to create a shield out of ice, but wasn't able to do so in time before the shards reached her, and luckily didn't hit her. She sent another shard flying, and once more slammed one straight into his stomach, and it was now sticking out of him.

"So what are we going to do, then?" Havok asked. He struggled for a moment, before sending off another destructive blast at Sinister, sending the geneticist flying backwards. He was hoping that Sinister was one of those immortals who could be killed - that Sinister's immortality was an immunity to natural causes of death. That would be nice and convenient for them. But then again, they weren't supposed to kill Sinister. They'd need to come up with a way to contain him - it was their only option. "Can we just leave him here, maybe?" Havok shouted.

"No," Magik told Havok, offering no explanation. This was her realm that she ruled. She wasn't going to allow Sinister to remain here. She had brought them to Limbo in order to cut him off from his resources.

His clothing was in tatters, yet Sinister laughed. "Go on, darling," he said, using his power of mind control over Sapphire. "Kill your friends."

"What? No!" Havok's eyes widened, realizing that Sinister must have taken control of Sapphire somehow. He was really irritated with the seemingly limitless list of powers that the geneticist had acquired. He sent off a haphazard blast at Sinister, trying to stop him from controlling Sapphire's mind, yet Sinister threw up a force field with ease.

"Leave her alone!!!" Sunshine screamed at Sinister, running at him and trying to tackle him to the ground. It was a stupid move, but she hadn't been taught to fight. She fought based on pure emotion. Sinister deflected her telekinetically like he was brushing away a fly, sending Sunshine flying into the air. Magik created a stepping disc portal right below Sunshine, allowing the young mutant to fall through and safely emerge on the ground.

Sapphire smirked slightly, "Time to have some fun," she said before turning on Havok and sending shards of ice slamming into him. They missed vital organs, but they were embedded in his chest and probably were going to hurt like hell, before she instantly sent another round of shards towards Magik, but missed her. "Now why can't you all hold still and make this a little bit easier?"

Havok fell to the ground, trying to remember if it was better to pull the shards out of his chest or leave them in. He ended up deciding to leave them in, even as the ice was melting due to the immense heat of Limbo. The entire realm smelled like sulfur, stinging the insides of his nose. He wasn't an expert on fighting mind control, but he knew one thing that would anger Sapphire like nothing else - maybe even enough for her to break free of Sinister's control. "DEMETRIA!" he screamed, shouting Sapphire's real name.

Sinister laughed. "That isn't going to work," he chastised, about to hit him with concussive force yet Havok managed to roll more or less out of the way in the nick of time.

"He's an idiot," Magik told Sunshine. "Distract Sinister. My Soulsword can free souls of possession." She didn't know if hitting Sapphire with her Soulsword would work, but it was worth a shot. It only harmed magical beings, so there was no risk of hurting Sapphire either.

Sunshine nodded, making the biggest ball of the common cold that she could muster, before flinging it at Sinister. "Hey stupid!" she taunted, even as his force field kept the disease bomb from hitting him. Sunshine's heart skipped a beat as Sinister turned his attention on her. "Yo mama's so fat the press thought she was the Blob!" It was the only thing she could think of - it felt like an eternity, watching the master geneticist.

"...Are you insulting me?"

"Shut the hell up Alex," she responded, but she didn't turn to look at him. In her mind, given his injuries, she didn't see him as a threat, and considering the fact that Sunshine had resorted to trying to throw insults at Sinister, that left one person as a potential threat: Magik. She sent a few bits of ice flying at Magik, but her attacks missed, and now she was getting more then a bit annoyed. There was suddenly a large rush of cold air around her that slammed into Magik, freezing her in place and turning her into a human popsicle. "That's a little bit better."

Havok groaned, dragging himself up to his feet slowly. He didn't even have time to comprehend the pain from the chest wounds that Sapphire had given him. He was still breathing, so that was just going to have to be enough at the moment. With Magik frozen and Sunshine reverting to playground level taunts, he turned his powers on Magik. He sent a large blast of energy at her, shattering the ice around her and sending the Sorceress Supreme of Limbo to the ground. Yet Magik's eyes were glowing and she reignited her Soulsword, coming up to her feet.

Sinister then threw a boulder at Magik, knocking the mutant to the ground again.

"He has SUPER STRENGTH?!" Sunshine complained. As much as she didn't want to die, this was getting insane in her opinion. How could one person have so many powers? "That's just not fair!"

Sapphire put a hand to her head, stumbling backwards slightly as her mind finally cleared and she looked over at Havok. "Call me Demetria again and I will beat you to a pulp," she muttered as she raced over to him and looked over his injuries real quick. "...Sorry about that... But you'll be fine, you'll need some bandages and some pain killers probably since you can be a bit of a sissy, but that's about it, luckily I missed vital organs so that's something..." She then turned her attention towards Sinister and tried instead of using ice shards, she tried to freeze him like she had done to Magik, but failed at it. "Damn it..."

"Yeah, you're definitely back to normal," Havok mumbled. If Sapphire hadn't insulted him while apologizing to him - and threatened him - in the same breath, he would have been concerned that Sinister was still controlling her. He gave it everything he had, sending another blast at Sinister. The geneticist didn't have a chance to put up a shield or deflect it, as Sinister was flung backwards into one of the boulders from the raw power of Havok.

Magik nodded at Sunshine, throwing a portal at the girl's feet. Sunshine fell through the portal and emerged behind Sinister, reaching forwards to infect him with the strongest disease she could think of. He must have sensed her or heard her behind him, as before Sunshine could even conjure up a migraine for him, Sinister grabbed her by the throat, raising her up off the ground as he choked her. "I'm tired of these games. Return us to Earth or she dies."

Sapphire more or less froze in place, looking over at Sinister and Sunshine, her brain was working over time to try and figure out what she could do to get out of this situation. Problem was, every single idea that came into her mind didn't exactly end well in any scenario. "...This is a Kobayashi Maru scenario and I don't like it..." she muttered so only Havok could really hear her as she referenced the unwinnable scenario from Star Trek. Figuring she had nothing really she raised her hands up slightly, "Alright, fine, you win, feel better? I'm still not even sure how we even got here to be honest. But sure, I'd be perfectly fine with us getting back to Earth..." she said out loud towards Sinister.

Green tendrils of smoke crept out from Sunshine to Sinister, wrapping around him as the villain was soon covered in hives. He was forced to release Sunshine, who fell through a portal Magik had created and then emerged next to Havok, Sapphire, and Magik. "Captain America said to never negotiate with nazis - I saw it on TV in Juvi once."

"...So, let's get back to kicking some nazi ass then?" Havok suggested. "Unless the Star Trek nerd has another idea?" Sinister was already healing rapidly from the hives, his complexion almost entirely restored. Havok managed to buy them some time, sending off another energy blast that Sinister tried to stop with a force field, only for Havok's might to overwhelm him and cause him to take the blast head on.

"Says the guy who understood that reference, so whose the real nerd here Havok? I'm gonna say you," she retorted, before looking over at Sinister, thinking about it. She then surrounded the area with a cold air and managed to freeze Sinister, turning him into a popsicle. "Think you can send him some place colder? So that it'll take a while for him to thaw out hopefully." she asked Magik.

Magik thought for a moment, before creating a portal beneath Sinister's feet. The popsicle of a scientist fell on through, emerging in Antartica. "There," she said simply, before making a portal back to Sinister's lair, back to the throne room that they had initially encountered him in. She stepped on through, leaving it open for the other three to follow her. They hadn't had a chance to look through this room and then properly trash it.

Havok stepped on through the portal, as did Sunshine, but something was bothering him. "...Sinister is known for having clones of himself... Was that even the real one?" he asked, clutching his chest with his hands to stop the bleeding.

"...I'll be honest, knowing our luck probably not... That probably wasn't really him, and knowing what I know about him odds are he's sitting back watching everything that is going on with a bowl of popcorn and laughing... Let's see what we can find here, but be careful... And next time I say that we are being watched, just go along with it and don't assume I'm being paranoid." she said as she stepped through the portal.

Havok took a seat on the throne, feeling incredibly exhausted from the use of his powers and his injuries. He just rolled his eyes at Sapphire, too tired to come up with another witty reply for her. He'd mess with her later and then they'd be even again. During all of this, he hadn't even thought again about his girlfriend, Lorna, and how terribly he had been worried about her earlier today.

"Um, Sapphire? Is this important?" Sunshine asked, having found a file labeled CHIMERA PROJECT. She looked down a bit sheepishly. "...I don't know how to read..." she then said quietly, not wanting to broadcast that information. She was just guessing that this file might be something they'd want to recover from all of this, rather than just blindly burn. Magik was having fun taking the various gruesome photographs on the walls and burning them, summoning small portions of hellfire to do her work.

"Destroy it, no file or whatever is even worth saving around here if you ask me. So just tear it to shreds," she responded to Sunshine before going over to Havok. "Hey you doing alright? And once again, sorry for attacking you earlier... But you should be alright, just it'll be sore for a little while... I can see about using my powers to stop the bleeding, but then you'd probably feel insanely cold so not sure that would be much better."

Sunshine nodded, ripping up the file to shreds. It was kinda fun and calming for her, destroying the paper and letting the little pieces drift to the ground. They had just fought an insanely overpowered villain in Limbo - this was a sweet break for her. Her throat was aching where Sinister had crushed it and her body was aching all over as well from numerous other injuries sustained in combat.

Havok chuckled slightly at Sapphire's remarks. "The cold never bothered me anyways. Freeze it up, Elsa."

"Then don't complain about it ever, also don't call me Elsa," she responded, before frost emanated from her hand again, and she used that to more or less stop the bleeding to ensure that he wasn't going to bleed out on them. If they found a medical area, maybe she'd be able to do a better job at patching him up. "Come on, can't let the kids have all the fun in trashing this place."

Zelda Flynn

Location: Compartment 13
Magic: N/A

"I honestly hope so too, she's a bit of a menace if you ask me," Zelda said to Paige with a bit of a shrug before she turned her head to see who it was that opened up their compartment door. Goose in her lap hissed slightly at Merula, and Zelda partially wanted to turn into a cat and hiss at her as well, but she didn't. She was used to Merula's existence, and for the most part tended to tune her out considering the fact that she tried to bully literally anyone and everyone she comes across. It was stupid in her mind, if you don't like people, just ignore them! It isn't that hard!

"It is good to see you too Merula, how was your summer? Anything fun happen for you?" she commented to her, figuring that she'd try to make some sort of conversation since Merula was there anyway. There wasn't too much she could do, as she wasn't dumb enough to pick a fight with her right now, especially not before they even got to school. She also had a typical personal rule where unless she was provoked and needed to defend herself, she wouldn't fight someone, at least not where there were witnesses, and definitely not someone younger then her. She did have some standards as to what sort of trouble she'd get into. Tossing words around was one thing, but trying to throw spells or actually hurt someone even though they deserved it was a bit random. "You should be a bit nicer to your friends if you ask me."

Demetria Clarke and Andrew Rossi

Location: Unknown
Skills: N/A

"You people are kind of weird..." Andrew muttered, more or less moving away slightly from where the others were, this whole thing was weird to him, and everyone else seemed to know each other.

"There might be other stuff around here that can help us figure out where the hell we are... As for twisted reality TV, not sure if it's just a standard reality show, let's be honest with that one, otherwise who knows what sort of show we got stuck in... As for Pryor and them, who knows where they are right now." Sapphire commented, before the group would notice that the ground was starting to shake abruptly, as in, they were moving and shaking around, a lot. "...Anyone else have any idea as to why the ground is moving? Unless for some reason this is an earthquake."

Walking over towards the nearest window, Andrew looked outside. "Well I mean... Looks like giant purple robots or something are coming this way, so that probably would cause it."

"...Wait what?"

"Giant purple robot things, wouldn't have chosen purple for a robot, but yeah, giant purple robots heading this way."

If anyone looked outside, they'd see that there were indeed robots heading their way. The robots were indeed a somewhat bright purple things that looked like they were straight out of a kids cartoon. And of course, the robots did not look very friendly, but then again, robots didn't tend to show any expression so it was hard to say on that one.

"...Giant robots that are heading this way... And they just had to be giant bright purple things. Cause that makes so much sense? So... Anyone have any sort of ideas as to what to do about them since they probably are going to try to kill us if I had to guess. This is going to be sooooo much fun..."

"...Well you could go try and dismantle them or something. Hit them hard enough they probably will fall apart, or you could just go see about actually blowing them up."

Bonnie Chase and Freddie Flynn

The Hub - January 26th, 2021

Flynn had been looking into a lot of things, namely concerning who his family really was. The whole thing with House of M bugged him to no end, and the fact that he'd been Magneto's kid there didn't sit well with him. He was currently sitting in the common area of the Hub of sorts, with a laptop, flipping through a bunch of files that were now covering the screen. Namely, a few things that more or less confirmed his worst fears.

"Are you going to talk about it?" Bonnie asked him, pouring over files on a tablet. She was in the process of confirming the DNA entries of everyone on the Secret Warriors and the sequencing was a bit cumbersome at times. She was doing a lot of it manually in terms of data interpretation, not wanting to leave the results up to a computer - for all they knew, there was a skrull hacking files to change them anyways.

"...Depends on what you mean by that," he responded, glancing over at her. His mind was racing a million miles a minute at this point.

She sighed slightly, setting down her tablet. "Whatever it is that's eating you up inside - if you're not careful, they'll throw you in a mental ward. I should know." She grimaced ever so slightly. She had become severely depressed after her husband died, resulting in S.H.I.E.L.D. institutionalizing her for a while. It had been the right call, as much as she hated it at the time.

"...Remember during the Christmas thing, when Cass mentioned the whole House of M thing and even though I really really really wanted to punch her at the time, I didn't at least, and she mentioned what my life was like there?"

How could she forget? Yes, she really liked her boyfriend but he had a painful temper at times - really, all of the time. Her memories of fighting Deadpool that Christmas were a bit fuzzy, thanks to her concussion, but she had a brief image of Flynn yelling at Tempest over all of it. "Yeah?" Bonnie said simply, not wanting to discourage him from sharing with her if that was what he felt comfortable doing.

"...What if I told you that a few aspects from that life might actually be real..."

"I'd say that you sound a bit like a clickbait article, to be honest," she answered. "But in our line of work, strange things happen all of the time. Half of our team is made up out of lab experiments. We've time traveled and gone to alternate worlds."

"Okay, I'm not dumb enough to click on every single article I see online, those things are annoying," he said with a slight laugh, before falling silent, thinking about how best to word what was going through his head. However, he couldn't really find the words, so instead, he moved over closer to her and just showed her his laptop screen, which still had a bunch of files scattered across it. The most prominent being a DNA test that linked him to Magneto and an adoption record.

Bonnie was silent, studying the records displayed on Flynn's screen. Maybe the DNA test was invalid, but she had re-analyzed Flynn's DNA herself - and she hardly was able to ask Magneto for an additional sample. The adoption record appeared to be even more evidence in favor of this narrative... that Flynn was not biologically related to his parents. "This doesn't change who you are, Freddie," Bonnie told him gently.

"Now see, you say that, but to me it freaking messes with a lot of things in my head. Like really? I'm apparently related to literally the most well-known mutant terrorist in the entire world. How does that not somewhat change things?"

"...It's all about potential, right? Everyone can be pure and everyone can be wicked. But the choices you make, those aren't determined by your genes. You can't inherit things like talents or personality traits or innate goodness. The reason why those cycles tend to continue is because of the parental influence. But in your case, you didn't grow up with Magneto as a father. You had a nice, caring father who loves you - who adopted you and raised you as his own. Statistically, he's who you'll become... not Magneto."

"You don't know that at all though. And statistics be damned, some things also can be considered hereditary in some way so odds are I'll probably end up screwed up anyway," he pointed out, rolling his eyes. She was trying to make him feel better, that much he did know, but currently it was not really helping at all.

"Sure, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder - those can all have a genetic basis but they're also treatable," Bonnie stressed. "Have you considered trying therapy, maybe? We have in house therapists here at S.H.I.E.L.D. with security clearances, so you can actually talk to them without being fired for revealing trade secrets."

"...I never really ever wanted to go to therapy... Since that sort of thing would actually make me feel like I really am going crazy." Once again, her attempts to make him feel better weren't really helping. This is what he got for dating someone who was a scientist and medical person of sorts. Definitely made things like this a bit difficult.

Bonnie did her best not to take that comment too personally. "Think about it, please? Therapy isn't just for the insane - just like how doctors aren't just for those on death's door."

"Fine... I'll think about it..." even though he said that, he knew that in reality he probably wasn't going to and just deny the entire thing.

"Thank you."

He nodded his head slightly, "...So, how are you doing?"

"I'm alright," Bonnie said, shifting the way she was seated on the chair so that way one of her knees was propped up. She circled her arm around it. "I'm trying to confirm that no one on our team is a traitor... This entire skrull thing, it's worse than HYDRA."

"Sounds like so much fun, trying to determine if one of us is an alien," he said with a small laugh. "The idea that an alien might have switched places with someone is more then a bit weird..."

"I mean, what if I'm the alien and I'm going to falsify the results to show that I'm human?" Bonnie joked, her tongue sticking out slightly as she smiled.

"So nice Bonnie!" he responded with another laugh.

"How do you know I'm not an alien, Freddie?" she teased.

"I just do," he said with a bit of a smirk.

Raynor Blake and Theresa Sparks

Jacksonville, Florida - February 2nd, 2021

Sparky wasn't too sure about whether or not this was a good idea. It had been a while since she had actually seen her family, but she did talk to her parents every so often, but her sisters were out of the question. They hated her very existence, and were so glad when she left Florida and moved away from them. She wanted nothing more then to see about crawling into a box and hiding far far away from them, but if they just so happened to stop by her parents' house, she couldn't control that. Sparky was taking Raynor to meet up with her family, and she was way beyond nervous to do this. She'd deal with giant spiders before she chose to really deal with them.

"Lighten up, Sparks," Raynor teased, lowering the quinjet down to the ground outside of Sparky's childhood home. He hated flying commercial, preferring to take advantage of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s resources. "After this, we can take the jet to Vegas, hit the Strip."

"You say that, but honestly you haven't met my family at all... Especially my sisters," she mumbled, and she started fiddling with the ring on her hand.

"Can't be any worse than my brother," he argued, powering off the jet.

"If you say so," she said, before she headed off the jet and headed towards the front door.

"My brother invented the Filibuster," Raynor pointed out. "And the United States Senate," he added. It was hard to tell whether or not he was joking, as he followed after Sparky.

"Also, you might not want to mention that you are an alien to them," Sparky said with a slight eye roll, before she knocked on the front door. "Just be warned, if my sisters are around, they tend to not be the best of people..." As if right on cue, the door opened, and there stood a blonde with hair that fell below her shoulders, looked to be at least a few years older then Sparky and she more or less made a sort of annoyed face when she saw her.

"Oh hello there Theresa, been expecting you," she said, her words had a bit of a bite to them, and then she glanced over at Raynor, her eyes widening for a split second, before she gave him a smile, "And who might this guy be?"

Raynor smirked slightly, holding out his hand. "Agent Raynor Blake - and I take it you're the wicked older sister?"

"Well that's a little rude Terry," she said with a laugh, shaking his hand slightly. "I'm Laurel Sparks! Why don't you come in?" she asked, stepping to the side slightly to let them in, but it was obvious that she was more of talking to Raynor then Sparky. As for Sparky, she was more or less staring at the ground, wishing that she was anywhere else but there.

Raynor headed into the house, contemplating shooting Laurel, but he figured that Sparky would be cross with him for that. And it was probably a little bit of an overreaction. He then decided the best course of action would be to ignore Laurel. "So you wanted me to meet your parents, right?" he asked Sparky.

"Yeah..." she said to him, following him into the house, but Laurel tripped her slightly, causing her to stumble before her sister shut the door and walked along ahead of them out of the area. "...My sisters don't like me at all..."

"Do you want me to beat them up?" Raynor asked instantly.

"Uh no... You can't beat them up... I'm honestly used to them by now... I think part of it was because back in high school I was in the same grade level as my oldest sister..."

"I mean, I can beat them up. But if you don't want me to, then I won't. They'd probably get hurt way too easily anyways."

"I don't want you to beat them up, since that'll cause even more problems..." she said as they entered a living room area. Sitting on the couch was Laurel as well as two other women, both also blonde ironically, and they instantly stopped talking and giggling when they entered the room, and they glanced over at them. Sparky partially shrunk back behind him.

Raynor raised an eyebrow, knowing quietly that Sparky should have picked up something being amiss with all of her siblings being blonde. But he hadn't told her yet that she wasn't from this reality and he didn't intend on telling her until she was ready. That secret would have to wait. "Where are your parents?"

"Probably in the other room or something," she said with a shrug.

"Well Terry, this must be Raynor. Laurel was just telling us about him," one of them said, she looked to be the oldest of the three, and she gave Raynor a bit of a smile.

"He's certainly an interesting looking person," the other said, also giving him a bit of a smile.

"...Ray, these are my other two sisters, Jessica and Marcy," she mumbled, indicating that the one who had spoken first was Jessica, and the other was Marcy.

"It certainly is nice to meet you Raynor," Jessica said, before looking at Sparky, "Mom and dad are in the other room."

"Uh huh," Raynor said. He didn't really want to be nice to Sparky's sisters, as he didn't want to essentially support the way that they were treating her. "Let's go see your parents, then?"

"Sure," Sparky said, glancing towards her sisters and then turning and heading to the next room over. Eventually they'd see her parents there, and they glanced up and looked at them. Her mother was, like her sisters, a fairly pretty blonde of sorts, and she gave the pair a kind smile. Her father was a brunette, his hair fairly short and somewhat messy as he looked at them both.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Sparks - I'm Raynor Blake," he said, introducing himself as he held out his hand.

"A pleasure to meet you Raynor, I'm Wynona," the woman said, still giving him a kind smile as she took his hand in her own.

"And I'm Owen... So Theresa, how have things been for you?" her father asked, turning his attention to her.

"Oh... things have been going alright," she responded, once again fiddling with the ring on her hand.

"That's definitely good to hear."

Raynor put an arm around Sparky, hoping that it would give her some comfort. He was a bit confused as to why she wanted to come here so much, since she was clearly uncomfortable around her family to an extreme, but he supposed that she might have felt obligated to let them know. She also loved them, he knew that much. "We're engaged," he said, breaking the brief awkward silence.

"Oh you are?"

"Uh, yeah, we are," Sparky said, nodding her head a bit, giving Raynor a bit of a smile now. She did feel better knowing that he was there with her. Also knowing that for the most part he had to deal with her crazy family now too, she did feel somewhat bad that she had to essentially subject him to this.

"And I'm an alien."

Now Sparky wanted to smack him upside the head. It was hard to tell just what her parents would believe in terms of this sort of thing. She wasn't sure if they'd believe him or not, and she really was hoping that they wouldn't, since that would make her life so much easier.

"You are what?" her mother asked, sounding a bit confused by the fact that he had just randomly said something like that.

"I'm not from this planet - not even this universe, actually," Raynor added.

"...Where are you from then?" she asked him, raising a bit of an eyebrow.

"...Ray, I told you earlier not to tell them," Sparky whispered to him.

"Norway," he said, breaking into a big grin as he laughed slightly. "Feels like a completely different world from Florida. It's so.... hot and humid here."

"You had me worried for a second about whether or not you were insane," her father commented. Sparky shot a sort of glare at Raynor, before she used her powers and zapped him slightly in the side, so that her parents couldn't see what she was doing.

"He likes to be more then a bit over dramatic."

Raynor twitched slightly from the jolt of electricity, but he laughed through it. He gave Sparky a kiss on the cheek, wrapping his arm around her. "What can I say? It's in my nature."

"Well you should try not to be? I will admit it gets more then a little bit tiring!" Sparky said, giggling slightly at that now. This definitely was something that needed to happen, since for some strange reason Raynor loved theatrics and being dramatic.

"You want me to change? To alter my winning personality?" Raynor gasped.

"Award winning personality? I would definitely not call it that!" she said, still giggling a bit.

"Oh? What would you call it then? Magnificent?"

"No way! Not to mention the fact that your ego definitely doesn't need to be bolstered at all. Honestly it could do with being knocked down a few pegs."

He chuckled a little bit, before looking at her parents again. "As you can see, we're madly in love."

"I thought that was obvious."

Sparky rolled her eyes slightly, before she zapped him again slightly in an attempt to get his ego to shrink back down slightly. In her mind he really needed to learn when to not flex his ego, now was not the time to do that at all. Hence why she decided that zapping him was appropriate.

Raynor twitched slightly again, but Sparky's powers did nothing to hinder the size of his ego. He had been alive longer than most people currently on the planet and he had the hubris to accompany it. "Which means I have something to ask... Any embarrassing baby stories about Sparks?"
