As promised, Torunn continued knocking on the door until her mom answered. It took a moment, but when she heard her on the other side, and pulled the door open, she stopped. When she saw her mom, her smile widened and she immediately threw her arms around the womans neck, pulling her into a hug. It was probably a bit too dramatic of a hug, but Torunn didn't care. It had been long enough for her to miss her mother, and so she felt the need to display that fact. "I've missed you. As hard as that is to believe." She said as she finally released her and stepped around her, heading inside.
"Most kids are happy as hell to be out of their parents house and in their own, which I am..." She trailed off as she went into the living room and sat down on the couch. "I just miss you. Its weird coming home and you not being there." Torunn rubbed the couch cushion with the palm of her hand and stared down at it as the fabric of the cover got darker where she had ran her hand over. "It's quiet. I almost miss your nagging." She said with a little laugh, but was completely serious.
