Current Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've just... been struggling to get the energy to write something up. I'm trying some new meds through so hopefully that will change soon.

So... we lost because @Doc Doctor is a team killing asshole. Good to know.
@ayzrules

Just for the record, unless someone is paying very close attention to detail when it comes to Johnathan odds are he just looks like a normal christian studying medicine. I mean, unless our local diva happens to know enough about the differences between run of the mill Christianity and the Mormon sect to spot the differences.
Three miles up... three miles down.

Johnathan had heard a few of the solders around camp say that when it came to the run up Mount Currahee; Three miles up, three miles down. It wasn't the kind of run that you sent the physically unfit on right away, you had to build up to it otherwise people were going to drop like flies.

While some of his teammates were quick to jump the trigger and get started, running and jogging up the trail without even waiting for the Captain to start them off, Johnathan actually remained where he was to keep an eye on his teammates. He had already made the decision to jog alongside the slowest member of the team. Partly it was so that he could help encourage someone who might require it more then the front runners, but it also put him in a good position to aid anyone who tripped or who weren't in a good enough condition to continue on their own.
Luigi

Level: 4
Day/Time: Day 2, Noon.
Location: Garden Funeral
Tag: The many faces of @Holy Soldier, Fox @Etherean Fire, Frisk @Guardian Angel Haruki

For what it was worth, Luigi was quietly thankful to have Fox standing beside him without saying a word. Talking was... difficult right now. Truth be told if he could he would be curled up somewhere nice and quiet without having to deal with people offering him condolences or judging him because he had been put in charge of the whole mission without his knowledge; When Buck had failed to appear and he had stepped up to take over his team, he had believed he had only been taking over the team and nothing else... he had only found out otherwise when Guile took it upon himself to berate him after the mission was over... and Peach wanted nothing to do with him ever again.

Quietly he watched as various people came up to the memorial to leave offers or pay their last respects. It was interesting to see what some people had left behind... but one of the strangest and oddly endearing was a small child in a tutu leaving some ordinary, every day mushrooms. He didn't know why... but the sight of it actually made him smile a little for the first time all day.

It was only when the well wishers and mourners started to thin out a little that it happened; One moment everything was fine, the next he was watching in slow motion as a ball dressed like some kind of ninja was rushing his brother's grave, snatching up both the jar that contained Mario's soul and his hat! Even as it was shoving the items into its sack on the move, Luigi felt himself started to rush forward, all that sorrow and agony within him igniting in pure rage as he gave chase without stopping and waiting for something as silly as orders.

As three different colored Lumas appeared and joined him in the chase, for a split second Luigi allowed himself to feel affection towards Princess Rosalina for aiding him in recovering his brother; The moment passed quickly through as he doubled down in order to speed up his pursuit, intent on catching the thief as quickly as possible. He didn't care about discovering who it's master was... not at the risk of losing what little remained of Mario.
Yo.
@Holy Soldier

...Honestly I just thought it was different names for the same position. At no point did I believe I was leading the whole operation, just my team.

Still... I think I'm going to play this as no one informing Luigi that he had taken over the whole operation instead of just his team when Buck (the guy who was meant to be leading both) failed to appear. Miscommunication playing hell in the field and all that.
@Holy Soldier

No I did not, I guess I must have missed it.

At any rate, how would Luigi have known to send reinforcements when he had no contact with the other teams? Even if they could contact him, considering the fights with Oswald and Brigan he couldn't break up his team anyway.

Edit: At any rate, I thought I was a team leader.
@Etherean Fire

Fair is fair, Luigi's actually pretty fast and you can bet he is going to give chase.

@Holy Soldier

Just saying this here, but Guile is being an unreasonable asshole and it's looking like he's trying to blame Luigi for his own failures. For example, Luigi wasn't in charge of the operation; He was in charge of a team that Mario wasn't on, but he wasn't in overall command. Now if he's being credited with being mission leader after the fact because he came back with most of his team intact for political reasons (IE, needing someone to blame) that's a completely dick move on Guile's part.
@KatherinWinter@Mistress Dizzy

It seemed that a friendly spar between them was going to have to wait; While the new announcers poorly worded announcement suggested that the simulation still needed a patch or two in order to fix up a few minor flaws that grated slightly on his nerves, the message was loud and clear. A bomb had gone off, there were innocent people in danger and there were looters making everything worse... all while those who set off the bomb remained anonymous and could still be hiding in the shadows to strike at any time.

Going over the abilities that he knew he possessed, he quickly came to the conclusion that he would be of little to know help in the buildings that were ablaze and while he could be of assistance with the rescuing part for those trapped under rubble, he was just another person when it came to the searching side of things... and he knew well enough that freeing those trapped under rubble was dangerous if you didn't know what you were doing; Shift the wrong thing at the wrong time and someone was going to get crushed. The same was true of keeping an eye out for the those who were responsible for the bombing, since he had the same senses as any other human.

However if he were to suppress the looters, he could free up the rescue services that would normally be tied up or threatened by such actions in order to do their jobs. If he worked fast enough to deal with the looter problem he could possibly go and offer to help rescue those buried with the wisdom and guidance of people whom had a much better idea of how to rescue those trapped under rubble safely.

It took him all four seconds to jog towards the warehouse roller door, bend down to grasp the bottom of it and lift it up to open it to come up with this plan of action.

Turning to Kassy, he gazed at her with complete confidence as he explained "Alright, I'm going to go and suppress the looters to try and contain some of the chaos to make rescue efforts go faster and smoother. Do you have any method of dealing with a burning building or locating people trapped in rubble?" He knew that she had mentioned illusions earlier, but now was a good time to find out if she had any other tricks up her shelve.
To say that Johnathan was surprised to learn that at least two of his squad mates were born in Germany would have been something of an understatement, through when Izkry mentioned that they seemed to have spent a good deal of their childhoods in a 'government facility' he couldn't help but immediately picture some kind of laboratory... with a small children's area in a corner with some books and a few toys to make the mental image a little more colorful and less bleak. He didn't get the chance to say anything more as they made it outside and started their respective stretches.

Standing at attention as he stood outside in front of Captain Stevens as the rest of the squad trickled in, Johnathan couldn't help but look on as the conversation about what sort of training they should be doing with a small degree of amusement. Personally he was all for physically improving his body; Exercise was good at any rate, but he had always found running to be rather relaxing and the run up and down Curahee to be an interesting challenge!

The main complainer was clearly Oscar, who as far as he could tell was here because he got drafted and didn't want to have the MP's come and get him; This was not an acceptable attitude to have in someone whom was going to be watching his back and Johnathan quietly resolved to try and change that in the near future, but first he needed to motivate the Spaniard to stop complaining... and he couldn't help but smile a little playfully as he lightly teased "It's alright to admit that you couldn't complete the run Oscar. After all, no man wants to look bad in front of two beautiful women."
