Happy Friday y’all.

Bio

Gay, he/him, Autistic

I’m Crimson Flame and I’m addicted to RPing. But sometimes ADHD kicks in, and it takes me longer to reply to things than it should. If I’m taking too long to respond, feel free to say something. Just don’t be rude about it.

There are a bunch of RPs I like. Pokémon, Digimon, Fantasy, Superhero, it would take too long to list them all. I’m not a fan of Horror or Apocalypse settings though.

I have a particular type of character I like making. Look through my Character Sheet thread, and see if you notice what a lot of my characters have in common.

He tried to comfort the girl, but Tim didn’t think he did a good job... Before he could say anything else, things went from bad to worse really quickly. Other students that were present in the auditorium were watching them. They were whispering amongst themselves, and not saying nice things. They were calling them weirdos, and idiots, and losers. Did they not know they could hear them? Tim was immediately taken back to his younger days. What a way to start out a new school year.

Everyone reacted in their own way. The two girls tried talking to the bullies, with varying degrees of success... Tim could never do that. In his experience, it only made the problem worse. Instead, he just sat down where he stood, and started bawling. Tears were streaming down his face. He clutched tightly to his Rockruff. This would no doubt make things worse, but he really didn’t know what else to do. He was brought right back to his childhood. And all the kids that made fun of him back home.

Rocky made a whimpering noise, and licked Tim’s face. He was trying to be helpful, but it didn’t seem to be working.

But who will go on a date with Danny?
Actually pretty good
<Snipped quote by Crimson Flame>

I thought about having a Jason Statham-like character hired by the scientists to kill the interns, and then he goes to try and kill David while he's in a coma, Danny and Caty fight him off, and when he realizes they have powers, ho goes and forms his own team of villains and comes back or something. Then you guys would be free to control those baddies to have some solo adventures. We could engineer it so that whenever I am able to jump back into the RP full time, that's around the time David wakes up, sees Caty under attack, and he goes Hulk for the first time.

I'll still hop on from time to time while I'm at work to keep an eye on where the story is headed and chat on and off in the OOC, I just won't have the time to actually sit down and write a super long post for a bit. To give you an idea of my process, it usually takes me between four and six hours of uninterrupted time to create a post from start to finish, at least for the longer ones I do when I'm controlling multiple characters. I write up a first draft, proofread and edit, compare it to the other posts to ensure I'm not creating any plot holes, add in any text formatting and images, preview it on the site and proofread again, and then post it.

Sounds fun
If you all decide you want to wait a few weeks, I will try to get out at least one more post to set the stage for you all to do some RPing between you all. I can have David fall into a coma for a few days, Luke will just be on his own for a bit, and then Rennie, you can bunny Donny and Owen along behind Waylon and Petra if you want. Like, don't write out any specific actions for them, but just make reference to them following behind, sort of like offscreen characters that are still technically in the room.

Ooh 😮

Caty and Danny could have some solo adventure as they figure out how their powers work while trying not to get killed by evil scientists.
This makes me sad, but you do what you gotta do.

What do the rest of you think? I personally don’t want to retire the RP though...

Jason’s parents, and all of his neighbors came to see him off on his journey. All the attention was a little embarrassing in Jason’s opinion. He was just doing what any brother would do. He still appreciated the sentiment though. Everyone was close in his section of the Croplands. They were all like family.

A lot of them gave him enough food to last the trip. The food probably wouldn’t last the trip though. None of these people traveled much and didn’t have anything that wouldn’t go bad after a few days... Jason had to either eat it before it went bad, or share it with somebody. He did get some cheese that would probably last a good while. That was helpful.

His Ma and Pa were also there to say goodbye. His parents were supportive of his decision to look for William. They were had been worried sick after so much time had passed without a letter from William. They tried not to show that, but months without knowing what happened to your son would make any parent sick with worry. Of course, they were also worried that if things went badly, they would lose both of their sons... Jason didn’t think about that. This wouldn’t go badly. William could take care of himself, and so could he. He would find his twin brother alive.

His parents gave him as much coins as they could spare, as well as some extra clothes. Of course, Jason still didn’t wear a shirt, because he was a show off like that. After a hug goodbye from his mother, which caused someone in a carriage to mock them. As if there was anything wrong with saying goodbye to your mother when you don’t know how long it will be before you see them again... Jason was off.

He carried his things in a blue bag with a woven good luck charm swinging off of it. In addition to his bag of supplies, Jason also brought his trusty farming hoe. He didn’t expect to do any farming on this trip, but the hoe was still useful for defending himself when magic doesn’t work. He's had it for years, it was the real good luck charm.

He also had every single letter William had sent. He could tell from his writing that he was really excited to see the world and become a knight. He documented every place he went to, and everyone he met along the way. They brought joy to the entire family every time they got one. His last letter said he had made it to the capital, where the knights trained. Now the question was, what happened to him once he got there? That was what Jason was going to find out.

He passed through the gate, into the Scrublands. He had gone here with his mother sometimes when she needs to sell produce. It was rather nostalgic for Jason. It was a vibrant town filled with lots of different people, and lots of stuff going on. There were farmers, mercenaries, and other merchants. Jason didn’t stay for long. He made his way through the crowd, and made it outside. There, he found a whole line of people waiting to get inside.

On the opposite side of the line were people going out of the town. There were a lot less people here. Besides himself, there was also a teenage girl, and two older men. One of the men had a hand on the girl’s shoulder. They both looked suspicious... Jason wondered if he should get involved. The longer he spent here, the longer it was going to take to find William. Then again, he couldn’t just walk away and potentially leave a girl in danger... The answer was obvious. No doubt William would have gotten involved too if he was here.

So, with farming hoe in hand, Jason casually approached the group. “‘Scuse me guys. Is everything alright here?”

Rose and Leo walked to class together, it was relatively uneventful. She did however meet someone new though. Upon hearing his name, she was fairly certain she had seen him in an economics class somewhere. She had made an acquaintance!

Classes were just as you expected them to be. She sat there and listened to professors lecture while she took notes, because something might be on the next exam. After her lessons were done, she went to the library to get some studying done. It was the best place to get anything done. It was quiet, and there was good Wi-Fi signal.

Rose took a seat at an empty desk. She had her laptop open, her notebook open, and a bunch of textbooks open. She was sure to get schoolwork done! The hours went by. Reading notes on Business Management and Marketing, among other things. Even for some as studious as Rose was, even this much studying for this long got boring. Rose yawned multiple times during this. She needed a break. Eventually, she couldn’t take it anymore, and the young woman plopped her head down on the table.

Rose was regretful of what she had just done the second the minute her eyes opened. ”Goodness, that is so unlike me to just collapse in public like that… I need to get out of here.” She packed up her things and prepared to leave. It was only then that she became aware of something strange going on. "What on Earth?” She was surrounded by dark fog. How did this get into the library, she did not know.

At this point, only three others were present in the room with her. Leo, and that rude boy she ran into earlier, and a third boy she hadn't seen before who asked the exact same question that was on her mind right now. How convenient. ”Oh look. It’s you two again. Alright, am I experiencing a stress induced hallucination, or is this actually happening right now?” She asked to either boy that wanted to answer.

Troy said he didn't mind Rocky's behavior, but Tim wasn't so sure about that... His stoic facial expression just read like he was mad at him. "Um... ok..."

There was a well dressed green haired girl with a Combee who introduced herself. She explained that she was a Coordinator, but before Tim could make a comment about that, a girl came crashing into her causing both of them to fall. Tim sympathized. He had been in similar situations before. Usually the people he crashed into were even bigger jerks about it. 'Hey, watch where you're going whimp!" Tim winced just thinking about it.

There was also a sleeping girl who looked like she got dressed in the dark that morning, but Tim wasn't one to judge other people's fashion choices. Her Munchlax let itself out of it's Pokeball, and laughed. Munchlax were relatively rare Pokemon. He had Pokemon Food he had made just for Rocky he could offer it. Munchlax weren't exactly known to be picky eaters after all... But... Troy was already offering it food, and Tim didn’t want to bother him... Besides, Rocky probably wouldn't approve of Tim giving his food to another Pokemon...

Instead, he went to check on the girl that bumped into the green haired girl, who had now just crashed into her own Magnemite... "Um... excuse me... A-a-are you ok...?" Tim asked while shuffling his feet nervously, not really knowing what else to say. Social interaction was not his strong suit...

Rocky let out a "Ruff!" As if to remind people he was still there.

It was beautiful day on the island, the sun was shining, the Pidgey were chirping, and the flowers were in full bloom. Under normal circumstances, this would be a good day for Tim. However, today was his first day at Pokemon Masters Academy, and he was dreading it. He got so much crap from other kids at his previous school, and now he was meeting new people. Would they torment him too? Maybe things would be different here, and he’d actually make friends, but he wasn’t sure...

Tim slowly made his way to the castle amphitheater, Rocky, his Rockruff bounded ahead of him. The Rock type Pokémon was actually happy to be here. When he got there, he saw a bunch of students. Tim took a deep breath. “Ok... here goes... something...” According to his seating assignment, his class was supposed to be in the third row.

As Tim nervously approached the third row, he was racking his brains on what to do or say to the others when he got there. If anything at all... Suddenly, Rocky let out a bark, and ran up to a boy in his row, and nuzzled on his leg. “Ruff!”

Tim ran after his Pokémon. “Oh Rocky no...” He scooped the Rock type up into his arms, and apologized profusely. “I-I-I’m really sorry about him...” He said to a boy with dark gray hair that had the name Troy written up on his name tag. He supposed now that he was in this situation, he had to say something. “Um... this is Rocky, and um... I-I-I’m Tim...” He managed to stutter out, only to mentally chastise himself for saying it. He was wearing a name tag, he could see his name.
