Gods Among Us

Vanessa Onasis
Bryant Park - New York

A strawberry blonde woman sat front row at a fashion show. She was Vanessa Onasis, one of biggest names in fashion, ever. She was the editor in chef of the most influential fashion magazines. In the fashion show, her word was law. While she was taking notes on the lovely designer fashions that walked down the runway, she also took notice of the handsome male models that also took the stage. One of them would be fun boy toy to play with for the night.

After the show, Vanessa went backstage where the models were changing. She was easily able to do that with a flash of her press pass to the security guard. For some reason, men always seemed to fall over themselves when ever she spoke to them. Backstage, Vanessa approached the first male model she saw. “Well hello there handsome. Vanessa Onasis, Couture Magazine. You were wonderful in that show. You really pulled off those stylish clothes.” Then she grabbed him by his tie, and pulled the man close to her face “But what I really want to see is you out of those clothes. If you catch my drift. How about the two of us head back to my house and have a little fun together, hm? I promise, I’ll make it worth your while.”

The male model stuttered trying to find the answer. Then he was interrupted by the sound of an obviously female voice. “Back off bitch, he doesn’t belong to you.”

Vanessa rolled her eyes. Someone was being territorial it seemed. She looked to see an angry looking woman with pale skin and dark hair. “Well, I don’t see your name on him honey.”

Then the woman screamed as she grew bat wings, her hands and feet turned into black claws and talons, and her dark hair turned into angry hissing snakes, Then, the woman charged at Vanessa claws unfurled. The woman barely managed to dodge, though her good clothes got damaged in the process. At this point, everyone in the room panicked, and started to run and scream.

Vanessa ran away herself, but that... creature whatever it was still chased her. She approached that security guard she saw earlier. “You, you’re a big strong man. Do something!” She exclaimed as she pointed to the demon bat that was now chasing her.

But before the man could do anything, the bat demoness tore the poor man apart with her claws. She slashed up his entire body, and stabbed him in his heart. This left bloody entrails all over the floor. It was quite gruesome. “You’re next harlot!”

So, I’m having trouble figuring out an intro post. Would anyone be willing to help me brainstorm?

Pokemon: Chronicles

After he went up, the other students started talking about him. Tim was just relieved that it was over. It also came out during this ice breaker that Zaria had lied about seeing a shiny Butterfree... Honestly, of all the things to lie about... Whatever, class was starting.

The class was basically going the rules and curriculum. No actuall lesson today. After class ended, Carpea announced the tournament. The prize would be a TM. Of course, a battle. Tim sighed. He should have known this would come eventually, but he hadn’t expected it so soon. Rocky on the other hand was excited to battle and started barking and running around excitedly chasing his own tail.

The class was led to the battlefield. A futuristic looking tower. There they were told a local Gym leader would also be judging them. Tim frowned. More people judging his battle abilities was exactly what he needed... Not... Rocky barked and panted happily.

Tim and Rocky went into the reserved room, where he faced Gerald and his Yamper. Tim’s brown eyes lit up seeing the other canine Pokémon. It was so cute! The electric dog used a Tail Whip to lower Rocky’s defenses. The sight was so cute. Tim had to stop himself from cooing over him. The other students would certainly make fun of him more than they already did.

Tim took a moment to think moment to think of his next move. Rocky was faster than Pachi, but Pachi was an electric type, and could probably inflict paralysis on Rocky. That wouldn’t be good. ”Um... Rocky... Use Double Team... Please...”

The Rockruff ran around in circles, and created multiple illusory copies of himself while barking loudly. Tim hoped the Yamper would hit one of the duplicates, and he could get an attack in safely.

Tim shuffled his feet and twiddled his thumbs nervously. ”Um... uh... W-w-whatever happens... I-I-I hope our Pokémon can play together sometime...” He smiled sheepishly. ”Rocky would appreciate a fellow dog Pokémon to play with”

I went with Litwick because I had a character idea. My favorite Pokémon type are actually Fairies, but I couldn’t come with a good character concept.

Veronica

Name: Veronica

Age: Teenage Ghost

Gender: Female

Species: Litwick

Ability: Flash Fire

Appearance:

Veronica looks like every other Litwick. She does wear black ribbon bows on either side of her head. Obviously, they are fireproof.

Personality: Veronica is a quiet Pokémon. Under normal circumstances, she generally doesn’t speak to others much, and prefers to keep to herself. When she does talk, she is blunt, and gets straight to the point to end the conversation as quickly as possible. She doesn’t express her emotions much, but when she does get too emotional, things have been known to accidentally catch on fire. Her favorite activity is reading books, and she likes learning about a variety of different subjects.

Veronica is lacking in physical ability. She’s not physically strong, not a fast runner, and gets tired easily after a lot of activity. She typically avoids exerting herself too much. However, when it becomes necessary to perform manual labor, she will never complain about it. She'll just suffer in silence until the task is complete. Complaining is something that irritates her more than physical fatigue.

Veronica spends much of her time reading about epic adventures, and now she would love to go on one herself. However, her true reason for joining an exploration team is to show others that ghost types aren’t the scary monsters everyone makes them out to be. While she is quite reserved, Veronica is actually rather friendly deep down. It’s just most Pokémon see a Ghost type, and judge her solely based on that. She can be your best friend if you have the patience to deal with her.

Short Biography: Veronica was born and raised and Cloudgate. Her mother is a Chandelure, her father is a Gengar. There weren’t many Ghost Pokémon around where she lived. Ghost Pokémon have been the subject of terrible stories, and a lot of other Pokémon tend to believe them. So, Veronica was subject to much bullying growing up. They would run away from her when she tried to approach someone, saying she was trying to eat their soul. Her and her family were even blamed for the darkness that was encroaching the surrounding land.

No matter how hard Veronica tried, no one around wanted to be friends with the scary ghost. Not helping matters was the fact that things would accidentally catch fire when she cried from being bullied by others. At some point, she just gave up trying to make friends with anyone. Instead, she turned to books for escapism.

Veronica became very interested hearing the news about Scorch forming an exploration guild. She have an adventure of her own, like the ones she’s read in books. Plus, if she could get on this team, and actually succeed at doing something good, maybe just maybe people would stop giving her a hard time about her Ghost Pokémon heritage.
