Well, Nyma is trying something potentially risky and dangerous before her hunt. Now to see if she can be the first to commune with the goddess of death. XD
Nyma listened with eager intent as she finished sharpening her second spear and set it to the side of her along with the first one she had completed. It was a rudimentary weapon, but...it would make do. She would leave at least one of the last two she had collected to her compatriot, so he had a backup as well. Though for having grabbed most of the sticks here herself, she felt better to keep charge of the majority. Just in case she, or Barth here, needed one later if they ran out of others they were making.
However, the information from Grandpa was most interesting, as the knowledge about these nymphs and faeries seemed to tug at that same "cut rope" inside of her she felt earlier. As if it was a sign these where what that "connection" wanted to be like. Or with. This feeling made the female young goblin give serious and somber pause, before looking out the entrance of the cavern and back to grandpa and Barth, before looking down again at her pile of two spears and one young tree/stick left to sharpen. Would seeking a deity, or perhaps one of the spirits of the forest, help settle this feeling and give her genuine insight into its nature for certain? It was a thought that somewhat interrupted her other plans, though....she was not one who felt it good to pass up a chance to learn about these things.
"....Hey, Barth. Stay here and try to finish up your sticks, i need to go think for a second about something. I'll be right back no worries," the female goblin said before looking over to Grandpa and giving an appreciative nod, "Thanks for the information. I mean it. Honestly, i wander to understand this forest as best as i can, so i think i'll go out for a minute and think before coming back."
With that being said, Nyma grabbed a spear and swiftly but calmly moved to go outside, moving a little ways away from the cave and into the woods proper before sitting down. As soon as she came to a small, safe clearing after investigating it, she set the sharpened wood spear next to her as she sat on a pile of grass and some leaves, legs crossed in some kind of meditative manner. What she was about to do she felt was worth a shot. Well, these two things she was about to do.
As Nyma closed her eyes, she took a few breaths to put her into a relaxed, calm state. Though at the same time, she decided to pray. Perhaps her gift would help her, or perhaps it might not. She did not know for sure. Perhaps one of these two things would help, or both. To her it was also worth a try, to take a little time to do this before returning to go on the hunt. Then she could seek for faeries and nymphs along the way with her gift. Unless this was a bad idea. Truthfully, she did not know at the moment. And though prayer to the eternal mother herself was easily tempting, another name gave her a sense of curiosity as well.
Duvelna. A goddess to be feared, but was she cruel or evil? Was she not necessary for this world to function? Her curiosity got the better of her, and after making sure she was alone she began to utter the words of a prayer.
"Duvelna, great goddess of night and the very powers of death. Yeah, even she who brings the gentle moon and blanket of darkness upon the world that it may rest. I know not if thou listeneth to a mere goblin such as i, though i do try at this time with all my heart. I desirest to understand thee, to commune with thee, to worship thee and receive of thine blessings," the young female goblin said in sincere, genuine, and fervent prayer, voice not lifted up too much but kept to a respectful and reverent tone, "Death is part of life, night necessary to have the day. So too do i fervently seek at this time to understand thee moving forward, that through thine great power i might better understand and connect to the world around me. So if thou art listening.....please, grant me thine presence, or thine blessings, or whatever else thou willst that i may begin to truly know thee in my heart. That i shall continue to pray to thee in gratitude and thanks for thee....even if perhaps others do not see the value of thine great role in this world."
As the last words left her lips, so to did come up a hope in Nyma that the goddess would hear her. Answer her. Give her audience. Anything that she may begin to commune with this goddess.
As much as she thought to be smart, she felt....empathy for this goddess. One who was feared, yet with respect she felt that such powers were needed in the world. Not evil by nature, simply necessary for life, for even this forest to function. Animals died for them to eat. New life being born took significance due to the presence of death. It was loathed by some, but to her was deserving of respect. Of worship. Not a thing to only ever be called evil names or be feared, not that such was not understandable, but to accept its reality and use this to better appreciate this world proper she felt was a honorable cause.
-2 wooden spears, each made from a long, young tree with twig-sized branches having been plucked off. Its base is just thick enough to be considered a very small club head, and this part has been sharpened into a honed and very effective point with enough weight to balance the head and help it do more damage on impact. Gives a bit of reach like any basic weapon might, and has a healthy length, durability, and flexibility to also function very usefully as well.
-1 young tree like the 2 others she already sharpened into a spear. The other was left to Goblin Barth, along with his walking stick.
-3 rocks, one of them rather sharp, she has allowed herself and Barth to use to sharpen their sticks into spears for hunting and protection

Skill (what she was born with)
-“Connection to Nature”: Due to her innate and lifelong connection to nature she built up in her past life, as a goblin Nyma bears this skill/gift in her new life. This skill allows her to connect with things such as elementals, elves, forest spirits, and the like, which includes being able to communicate with them as part of this connection.
As soon as the very crack of dawn had begun to shine through the sky, Nyma had arisen from her restful sleep with a purpose on her mind: get started on weapons and finish this task in good time. She had even tried to nudge her prior day's companion awake, though had left him after that to get started. Hopefully he would join in to help, or if not then at least she felt she'd be prepared.
If she and this other new guy were going to be trying to hunt and explore this place, they first needed suitable weapons. She had taken the sharp rocks, their jagged edges and all, and used them to start sharpening the sticks she had acquired. Flexible, but strong, young enough as trees to be easily plucked up, but hardy enough to be made into a solid wood weapon in her mind. It would be good experience, though she'd only bring one of these weapons out to explore/hunt. Having spares stashed away to use later, especially if the main weapon broke, was be a valuable thing as well in her mind.
Though as she was going about this task, hoping to pass the time to finish this as soon as possible so she and her seeming compatriot in this could leave the cave, the young female goblin looked over to the elder Goblin that was in the cave as well. There was perhaps one way to go about killing some time as she went about her task, and benefit at the same time. Listening to anything this old Goblin could tell her, and the other guy if he was up, would be....potentially useful in her mind. A better understanding of this forest and its contents were at least a start to getting a better grasp on things.
"Hey, i guess we might not be the first two goblins who woke up here? Where are the others, and can you tell us the sort of information they maybe asked you about before as well? Like if there are gods out there, or similar things?" the young female goblin said aloud, calling to the older figure in a calm, but curiosity-laced, tone that did not hold back on her interest in things, "And, er....are there anything like spirits of the forest or such things around here too that could be found?"
Somewhere inside of her, Nyma felt almost a tug, like the loose end of a rope wanting to attach to its other half. Being in the forest the other day, even briefly for a time, had left her feeling a little closer to fulfilling that feeling. Like a pull towards nature, just not the trees....when what could it be? Spirits of nature or something? The idea of spirits and gods and such did not feel new to her, as if she had known such words before or they had been programmed into her, but the knowledge of them, what they were, if they existed, and the like beyond that was far from her understanding. Though to her, it was better to ask and get the understanding sooner than later if this old goblin knew a thing or two.
Title(s): “Pleasure-Loving Doll That Seeks The Grail”
Gender: Female
Age: 5 (chronologically); looks about 23-26 years old otherwise
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Rank: Pride
Objective for the Grail: To re-acquire the lost Third Magic of the Einzberns
Command Seal:
Personality: A homunculus of the Einzbern, a magus who can very coldly and calculatedly act without any hesitation in pursuit of her goals. She seeks to fulfil the will of the Einzbern family to gain victory with determination, and is the one who helps protect the Lesser Grail for this purpose. She actually looked forward to her role as a master, and in a sense has some adventurous spirit and playfulness about her. This is best embodied by her desire in indulging in the native Japanese fashion of kimonos, and having bought some art and literature of the nation to enjoy in the past. Enjoys reading in her spare time, trying all sorts of foods, other luxuries, and hedonistic tendencies are a part of her without any doubt. However, she does have a soft, gentle side, which is not always seen but can come about if memories of a "certain man" arise in her mind among some other situations.
Bio: A high-grade homunculus of the Einzbern family make, made to become a master for the Holy Grail War to achieve their fervent wish of regaining the Third Magic that had been lost to their family. She was not originally given personality, but after a "certain incident" developed one and was allowed to indulge in this, simply for the sake of her being able to interact interaction with others and blend in more around humans when going to Japan and other places.
Said "certain incident" occured during an instance of scouting about Fuyuki a long time ahead of time of the war. In this one instance before the war, by a pure stroke of luck she met a certain man......Matou Zouken. A man who treated her like a real human rather than the doll she had been built to be. The results of this encounter transformed her from that of a mere "doll" into a "human being". She still fondly recalls the occasion even now. In a later trip back to the city, she ran into a special man and special lady whom she enjoyed an enticing encounter with. In part due to these things, and her own nature afterward, she has taken some interest in the Japanese, food, and similar things somewhat like a whimsical or eccentric noblewoman. Yet she has still not lost sight of her purpose to the Einzbern. To her, the goal of the Grail and the Einzbern's sincerest wish comes first, though immediately second to this without fail she desires to enjoy the world and all its pleasures. What a hedonist.

Magic Circuit Switch: Feelings of sexual arousal, which she can very easily trigger about with certain memories she can recall with an eerie ease.
Number of Magic Circuits: C
Quality of Magic Circuits: EX

Elemental Affinity: Earth and Fire
Magecraft:
General Magecraft- Things students at Clocktower would know, such as making a basic bounded field and familiars and such, to help round her out as a master.
Alchemy/Transmutation- The Einzbern specialty, that she likes others is a master of from the start, including the coining of homunculi and transmutation.
In particular, Sophia also has the ability to use stands of her long hair to coin homunculus familiars, projectiles, and otherwise make other things on the spot for her use in and out of combat using the Einzbern alchemy. Things like using this with her healing magecraft to sew shut wounds and speed up recovery are also very ready uses, alongside even creating complex webs of sharp cutting wires to cover an area using a single hair from her head alone.
To this war, on this note, she brings four bird-shaped familiars, each made from a strand of her hair. Each is an autonomous familiar that protects her from harm, and is capable of pursuing automatic or manually selected targets from them. They can be directed manually as well, have their shape changed, fire off small magical projectiles of their own, or even be used for things like scouting/spying. With the great deal of hair she has on her head still, creating more during the war quickly is very possible given the ludicrous nature of the Einzbern alchemy magecraft.
Healing Magecraft- Used in tandem with alchemy for things like adjusting bodies to alchemically-altered organs, but in this case also outright heal and support her servant better to boot with her very high levels of skill in this area.
Crest: Not needed, everything come from memories of past models, though has picked up more skills in practice of applying the knowledge she already has.
Weapon: Her familiars
Being a member of the Three Families who founded this ritual, she has numerous benefits that include the following.
-Summoning her servant 2 months early for the war, including using that time for preparation personally.
-A one-floor complex in the western style was built in the 2 months prior to her coming to Fuyuki, hidden inside of the forest the Einzbern own in the area and surrounded by a temporary large bounded field (just for the duration of the war) ahead of time that allows them to sense those coming in the forest and track their location within the bounded field. Similarly a secondary “safe house” has been built and hidden in the forest as well, for use in case the main home is destroyed or becomes too dangerous to stay in.
-A team of homunculus maids have been constructed to attend to her, as well as support her. The majority have notable combat physical abilities, especially with weapons such as halberds that they have brought, and include purchased amulets to protect them from enemy magecraft to some extent. A few have also been designed to use magecraft including Healing Magecraft and Alchemy to support the Einzbern master and her servant in that manner.
@Kheliop I figured that since we are behind, mooching a sword potentially, gathering supplies, crafting, and especially exploration and potential hunting could be ways to try to catch up. And potentially we might run the chance of a rare encounter or find that works in our favor!
