Edit: also, wait, I know you. Hnnnnng, I remember your name, but where from >~>
Damnit, this is going to keep me up at night...

I've lurked in various interest checks and such places over a long while. So i am guessing you saw me in one of those places, at least potentially. Or maybe that dead 'Battle for Titania' RP or something of the sort. Hmm...

I all seriousness, I have a lot of events prepared. My idea is that using this way of getting to know your race from the very beginning, it can develop into a more usual NRP but with players who truly appreciate and care about their races, with VAST amounts of material to work with compared to other NRPs where you have to make up often thousands of years of history before you can submit your sheet.

I like the concept! It makes sense, at least, to kick things off simply and build from there. Kinda like playing Age of Empires, in a sense, at least in my brain. :D

It is a pretty long-term a goal for an RP though. I hope this place develops the strong core needed to at least keep it alive. Though on the other hand, those who leave can be technically killed off potentially as an IC mechanic (er, not that they have to, just a silly suggestion that came to mind lol). XD

It makes me feel tempted (just tempted at the moment, to avoid overextending myself by rushjing into something) to join, if only because primitive dragon-like humanoids forming a nation could be a cool thing potentially. Or if not dragon-like, then something else fitting on that island between the two landmasses. Haha. That, and admittedly these types of RPs tend to be slower and easier to handle than others sometimes.

At any rate, thank you for all of the helpful answers, dear tiny potato! :P

Careful about that crazy mental energy tho, don't Brain Blast yourself into the next galaxy! ;)
@6slyboy6 Greetings, tiny potato. I am passing by this place, and became curious enough to want to ask you something...

...what are your plans for this RP's future? And do you think this RP will survive, or will natural selection occur? DX

That is all. :3
...hello? D:

What was a servant? Some kind of magical being with fighting skills? That could be interesting to hear about. Yet more than that, what did "getting nails done" and "shopping mall" even mean??? This girl was making no sense with some of this, and he wasn't even going to ask what a "high school" was for that matter. What he did understand best, however, was that the place did indeed seem to be a ghost town. And as much as he had failed the banter game, well, this girl was skilled and rather easy on the eyes at least.

"O-O-Of course."

...and maybe her chest had felt nice against his body when she'd cozied up next to him for a moment.

But he wasn't going to be swayed and distracted by that in the end. He'd faced alluring foes before...or at least Yiga disguised as ones. Those had been a danger of their own, and it wasn't like he hadn't been somewhat distrustful of certain traveling merchants as a result as well.

"If we get on some high ground, that would be a good point to survey the area-"

Wait...what were those two things flying out there in the air towards them? Was it more enemies, or people like this girl?

Based on the lack of bluntly attacking himself and Suzuka (an odd name) here, at least, Link didn't instantly draw his blade and shield again. Yet when the two closed in, and one began to speak, the Hylian hero of the wild felt a mild relief come into his chest. Finally.

"Yes, actually, i got here through a sort of strange door as well. Do either of you know what this place is?" Link said, as he tried to both address the two new arrivals and answer their question as well.

@Arondight Been reading through some while passing by here, but i am curious and want to ask this and a couple more things! :D

1. So what is the final plan for this RP?

2. do you have an blank character sheet for things, or an example or such to show?

3. Further, how are you going to treat magecraft in this RP setting?

...Wow, that laughter really did sting more than a blunt rejection. Most of the time ladies had just commented bluntly on it and left him alone, but this was mockery a whole nother' level. Of course, it seemed his attempt at battle banter had...at least failed successfully though? Failed successfully. One could even say "successfully failed". So if Zelda asked him about this moment in particular, that's what he'd say about it.

"What can i say...i was asleep for 100 years in a resurrection chamber...it was a lot of time," the Hero of Hyrule muttered under his breath to himself for a second, sheathing the Master Sword once more with small flourish of the blade, then sighing before he looked again to his new acquaintance more pleasantly and offered a hand, "My name's Link, by the way."

Maybe he could get off to a better start. That 100 years and the amnesia had, if memory recalled, done him some good in being around people at least. Not that the stoic look didn't stick...that had been ingrained for quite a long time before he'd even been put in the Shrine of Resurrection.
Ramesses Amenhotep

~The Golden Prince of Isila~

The skeleton grabbed the bag back with a mechanical motion as it was offered back, before moving to stand behind its conjurer. No expression shone from it, no further impetus beyond it assigned commands. A very useful kind of skeleton, in Ramesses' own opinion, but ultimately very basic due to its simplicity.

"Indeed, even a great scholar must rest every so often! Hahaha!" the princeling said, before uttering a hearty laugh and crossing his arm in a regal...if not rather confident fashion. At least, until the mention of choosing dormitories and exploring the place caused Ramesses' ears to perk up in curious intrigue, "Ah, yes. A grand opportunity this is then! I shall claim my own dwelling before the remaining rabble, and then set off to see what this place has in store! Many thanks, dear Headmaster."

The prince then motioned to the skeleton behind him, which began to move around the group and then forward. He then gave a wink to the ladies in his presence, before once again beginning to jog off in a dead sprint. Even the last words he said back towards the skeleton, whilst moving past it, were audible to the group despite them growing swiftly distant:

"Come along, Patsy! That seems a fine moniker for such a loyal skeleton! So make haste, you bag of bones, so i may claim my quarters!"

...Well, at least he was enthusiastic about things?

Asteria Starwood

~Nilsovan Feyblood~

She knew it!!! Asteria felt a sense of rapidly-bubbling excitement well up within her, a beaming smile coming onto her face that stretched from ear to ear. It was a simplified variant of her mother's tongue this woman spoke, but oh how the familiarity felt more like home! It was enough to burn out much of the nervousness she had walked in with, and swiftly the fae-child jogged over to where Linxi was.

Asteria's own hands came together as well, before the words of the fae language just began to rush out of her mouth like instinct as she lightly jumped up and down in excitement. Fluttering syllables of a graceful nature, little rhyme or reason ever to them, and yet a certain silvery smoothness and sweet honeying to it that stood out in particular from Linxi's own words. Mostly it was words of gratitude for meeting another faeblood here, talking about her nervousness in getting here, lingering late, a random off-thought offer to practice the fae language with Linxi, and just being glad for some initial familiarity around this new place.

Little did Asteria tend to remember, however, she had maybe somewhat specially grown up for several years among her mother and the fae. Due to that, her fluency with the language felt like a second skin of sorts, something natural for her that had lead to a few awkward situations in the past...

...Especially when trying to talk to some other faebloods. Not that some couldn't understand, but some hadn't been around the language as long so early on or used it as much, and...ah...oh dear.

After several seconds of excited linguistic chattering, like nothing else was around her and Linxi, Asteria's mind seemed to poke at her with the reminder. The Nilsovan faeblood felt her tongue and words suddenly screech to a grinding halt in her recoiling, as a very beet red color began to come to cover her face. Asteria put her hands over her face, like an embarrassed or ashamed little child, before any more words (now in the human tongue) came out.

"S-S-Sorry!!! I-It has been a long trip, a-a-and I got e-e-excited to see someone from home h-here..."

She at least had managed to hear some of what the Headmaster had said, mainly to the gist of "getting rooms early" and "exploring the place". However, her mortification at her unrestrained fae jabbering-on felt stronger than her will to run away and find herself a room to hide in at the moment. Almost made her wish she was back home, somewhat.

Link leapt swiftly to the right as two blades were thrust towards him, more simply dodging the rather careless attack tossed at him. The aggressiveness of this foe was notable, as was the playfulness, and beyond that using three blades was already a strange feat in and of itself. Yet...their words also somewhat interesting.

A small, lightly playful smile then briefly came over Link's face. He could work with this banter!

"I walked through some random door in my world to get here, don't even know where 'here' is," the Hylian champion said, giving a light flourish of the master sword in his hand, "Though while I wouldn't know who summoned you here, it must have been for those 'demonically' good looks."

Seemingly out of the blue, a cold chill then suddenly went down the backs of the Shiekah ladies back in Kakariko...and Zelda as well. They knew not the reason, but the sensation was clear. It was as if another of Link's terrible pick-up lines had just been uttered aloud to some poor soul out there.

...oh dear.

@Rune_Alchemist

@DrowsyPangolin Alright, can confirm will have a post up here Wednesday or Thursday. :D

As Link looked around the ruins from where he stood, the disbelief somewhat starting to settle as he pondered what had happened here. Yet when the Master Sword suddenly glowed brighter than normal, the sure sign of something demonic or monsters in the area, the Hylian Hero's instincts kicked in instantly. Without thinking he readied his shield, his eyes quickly looking around for threats...until the lobbed water attack came flying at him.

Link rolled to the side and back onto his feet, narrowly dodging the out-of-the-blue attack as his eyes moved up to look into the air. A foe, not that he had time to really look at them at the moment, seemed to to be plummeting down right at him with a blade shortly after this initial attack. The Hero of the Wild barely had time to leap back in the nick of time, as the foe's blade impaled the ground with the foe standing on top, though a familiar feeling came over the hero as time seemed to briefly slow down before his eyes. He could return a counterattack...or at least try to with a flurry rush, but even he could see that the enemy was already following up once more by swinging a blade at him in a horizontal arc.

At least in these moments he could get a better look of this...girl, fox, demon, monster...whatever she was? She was clearly female, as far as he could tell, and for all he knew she was from this world right now. Not much time was there to ponder, however, as the hero was forced to barely duck under the swung blade (a few hairs being cut off the very top of his head in the process) as the seemingly slowed time came to an end for him.

Link then followed up his enemy's attack, launching a swift with a horizontal slice of his own with the master sword. He aimed up at the torso of his new foe, rather than the more obvious legs a newbie to the blade might aim for. Whoever this was, they had some skill, kind of like fighting a Lynel if he had to be honest.

...and that fact made this all the more dangerous.
