Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I got started with writing online on the Spore forums. Man, those were the days. We're talking like 12 years ago 2010-ish!

I've been here on and off for almost as long, and have GM'd a bunch of different things to varying success.

For a while I thought Ialu was the most batshit character in Divinus, but the cake goes to Astarte. She's just sadistic and unpredictable, in the strangest ways...

I mean, she pets the Dragon God, puts some mortal's soul in a crown just because she wants to, and then starts torturing some dragon that Vestec gave her. Her definition of a fun day, eh?
I wouldn't say three-fiths. Most, if not all, Garakains still worship Vestec and the other gods and think Ialu's crazy. He's just crazy with a big stick and immortality. And no he can't just start ordering the troops to purge the hell out of the empire. :p That'd just end up with mass desertion and a mob of murderers. Getting cursed by Ferghus didn't help either. Ialu's hold is very tenuous at this point.

Well, with his original followers and Garakai he has 6,000 out of the 10,000 humans that we figured out in the last population count. That's where the 3/5 came from. His original 2,000 are pretty loyal (for now; starting wars and going crazy may shake them up) but Garakai is probably not so much.

Supposedly all 6,000 of those people are faithful to the Mighty One, but I realize that plenty probably aren't. Think Saudi Arabia. By law everybody is required to be a Muslim and they will claim that their nation consists of Sunnis that adore their government, but in reality that's not completely true.
I don't even remember who the Mighty One is supposed to be anymore, and Vestec's influence is not helping.

It was never said. Just a mysterious god that created Ialu.
<Snipped quote by Cyclone>

The Victors, The Hallowed Hundred, whatever rebellion Aztoc can muster, and whomever else wants to join Vestec's Crusade against the 'Mighty One' Heathens.

:)

What's this? I thought you said Viscardi's brothers would pledge allegiance -_-

The obvious solution is for Ialu to march south, tire out and weaken his army by starting to conquer the Confederate tribes, allow Aztoc's rebellion of whatever soldiers were left behind to seize Garakai (until Ialu comes back, of course ) and then attack the Cimex, beating back Zerabil's little people if he encounters them before going in Cimex land.

In the face of two wars that might press him hard to find victory, start two more and fight on all four fronts!

@Kho Has the Mighty One even been watching his most faithful warrior? Does he approve of Ialu controlling half of humanity and trying to crush the whole realm beneath his boot to forcibly make them worship him as God-King? Maybe the Mighty One should get involved.

I could see him being peeved at how Ialu is now making his people worship the two of them almost as equals, or perhaps being grateful that his one hero has singlehandedly converted three fifths of humanity and offering a reward
Vestec is getting busy, I see.

I almost feel bad for Ialu. Almost. I do feel bad for "Lizzy" though.

Pfft. Being attacked by the Victors will be nothing, at least compared to Ferghus' curse and some more unfortunate events that will happen to him in the near future.
And what might happen presuming he comes in so intoxicated that he just falls over during the meeting and goes to sleep?

The Prince's disparaging comments make me think he'd be easily trolled. And I mean that as in pissed off, not sat on by Matuna
New forms of magic coming soon!

Also, the quest, once everyone gets to the Tower.

*whistles obliviously*

On a serious note, I'll make him arrive tomorrow.
Before I post again I will finally update Ialu's character sheet to reflect his nee demigod status.

Also @Kho there hasn't been much usage of Might lately. I figure most people are saving it for various reasons and that we aren't going to see much more of it spent this turn. In my opinion with the pace slowing it's becoming about time for another turn.
I might do it and have him as a minor character, really. The issue is that he'd probably end up with Crompter* due to their similar stance. In general I see it as poor practice and try to not have two of your characters working together with one another in this type of RP, though if you don't object to it I might just make this the exception.

* Old man has a strong sense of morality and if the sandcastle story didn't show it, he hates those who abuse power. If the Prince doesn't watch his wording and actions very carefully, Crompter is naturally going to be that one guy who opposes the immortality.
The idea just crossed my mind to have a character inspired by the Ents from Lord of the Rings and the Pequeninos from Ender's Game to have a race of people that can transform into trees and do magic. He'd be good for the druidism that keep bringing up that nobody seems particularly interested in. The thing is that as far as the number of RPs that I'm in goes, I just keep on nibbling bit by bit more than I think I can chew. One of these it's going to be too much and I'm going to choke and die.

I'll toss the idea about for a little bit and maybe make the character in a week or two since Divinus no longer seems to be demanded 1-2 posts every day from me.

@SepticGentleman

I see it's coming along nicely. What are you making that picture with? It looks to my filthy and inartistic eye to be colored pencil.

And all day I've been wondering why Umbrix had his abomination crap and throw up all over his room. Does he just enjoy the smell?
