Bio

Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I got started with writing online on the Spore forums. Man, those were the days. We're talking like 12 years ago 2010-ish!

I've been here on and off for almost as long, and have GM'd a bunch of different things to varying success.

I'm awaiting a post from you in which the Holy Wisp and/or Niciel respond to Zephyrion (and his new hero Ventus) noticing it. No rush, just making sure you realize.
@Legion02

I see nothing wrong with the tree idea. Some ambitious mortals might appreciate having poison growing on trees, just waiting to be used.

As in for the crows, has any god even made carrion birds yet? If not, Reathos could and I see no problem with the crows being his spies. It would be interesting for necromancers and the like to fear crows and try to avoid gaining the birds' attention at all costs, and maybe for normal people to keep the birds in cages so as to ward off the undead.

Ah, but I'm still left wondering,

At what point would he stop granting powers to a necromancer/demon worshiper if that one was utterly psychopathic and more than willing to do or give anything for power?

To take your example, what if Ashmedai gratefully takes the power and continues to offer sacrifice or whatever he agreed to do in order to gain his abilities, and then proceeds to light the world on fire and kill everything for his own amusement? Does Mammon then come in and test his resolve by saying that he can't do such things, rendering Ashmedai's horrible powers essentially useless for the purpose that he had envisioned? What if Ashmedai now ignores Mammon and tries to keep using what he was gifted?
Uh, as a warning before I dump my ridiculously long post oh God I could have written my essays please save me, the Adversary is not meant to be evil. He operates on another level -- "good" and "evil" don't apply to him, because he's meant to test them.

I say this because he does a lot of evil things.

I applaud you for giving him a complex persona than most stereotypical 'devils' and think you have done a good idea thus far, but I'm left wondering confused on one aspect: what exactly motivates him to reward those who do blood sacrifices as such in his name? does he see aiding evil warlocks as just another way to test the rest of humanity? At what point would he stop granting powers to a necromancer/demon worshiper if that one was utterly psychopathic and more than willing to do or give anything for power?

I know, I've been here. But it's still far too fast and I just can't keep up

Your joining a second RP at the height of the HYPE in here makes me inclined to say you can handle this slowed pace that we're at ;p

Just give it a chance because you might regret withdrawing.
@Legion02

Was picture-huntign and stumbled across something that you might really like for Reathos. It doesn't match your description quite perfectly, but this is one of the best paintings I've ever seen.
@Fabulous Knight

I made Zephyrion for something to do for the first 10 pages of this RP, but like last time I intend for my main character to be a rogue hero. Trust me, he'll be a good enough Ganondorf ;p
These Urtelem bear a very close resemblance to Gorons

The Hain sort of remind me of Kokiri

Now Jvan just needs to mutate the crap out of an octopus and give us some Zoras, then I'll have one of my characters be like Ganondorf and Lifprasil can be Link. Hooray for !NOT! Zelda!
@Eviledd1984

I was actually just about to make a post, but go ahead. I'll wait for you.
@Cyclone

Are you going to set up a convo? There's at least 4-5 people interested in making/helping with a map.

I specifically asked for everyone that wanted to help to @mention me in that big announcement post to reaffirm as much, and thus far only you and poog have done so.

I'm going to make the conversation soon, does anybody else want in?
