Bio

Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I got started with writing online on the Spore forums. Man, those were the days. We're talking like 12 years ago 2010-ish!

I've been here on and off for almost as long, and have GM'd a bunch of different things to varying success.

Word of my splendor:

I've heard all about the community being 'toxic' but so far they've actually been incredibly friendly to me.

Granted, I'm usually one of the better players since I played WoW for a long time and I find the pvp in the two games quite similar.

@Fabulous Knight

Dominions? Like, the strategy game with the 300+ page manual? All the friends that I tried to get to play that game gave up when they realized it makes Dwarf Fortress's supposed learning curve look flatter than Oklahoma
Not sure if I shared it with this thread, but I've always loudly said LoL was stupid and that I'd never play it. Something like 10 people had to have tried to get me to try it, but it was futile and eventually they learned that I'd just give them a few choice words about poor taste.

...whoever posted the Jhin login music inadvertently managed to succeed where all of them failed, because I liked the music so much that I tried League (against my better judgement) and now I think I'm already addicted :/
The general consensus seems to be that we should spend a long time in the caveman era; therefore, nothing very advanced should be coming about yet. Art, oral tradition, basic flint weaponry/tools, and maybe some leatherworks or pastoralism should be about as far as it goes for now I'd think.

I mostly agree with this since more species need to be made and we need humans on Galbar, but once that's done I for one will want to quickly advance into the stone age and then have a few localized bronze ages for certain civilizations.
@Hael

Don't worry, I can (and eventually will) make a nicer one similar to the one in the character page.
@Cyclone
What's the current map? I needs it for ocean-making, and mind swamps

I've fallen hideously behind, but the latest (rough and ugly) draft that had the general layout was this:
@Lugubrious

...handsome, 'proud' soul, and invisible sword cutting up aphid-men...

I was nearly positive that the guy was a throwback to Ialu, but then I realized that the demigod of greed wouldn't be one to hold a morbid fascination with making living poetry of murder. He wasn't Jhin, after all.

Regardless, the concept is intriguing and so far I like your hero a lot, though I reserve judgement until more of his character is elucidated.
@Lugubrious

I talked to Kho about the khookies and he was in favor of putting it off for a while and waiting for more heroes to appear -_-

Now that he's gone for a while, I might just take up the mantle of khookie baker. Unless @Rtron wants to?
@Lugubrious

Zephyrion visited right before he found Teknall and made his house.

I mention him causing a good deal of destruction to the landscape there as well, but it's probably been so many centuries that any signs of his broef visit are gone. The only real impact seeing the Deepwood had on him was making him desire a home and later inspiring him to make elementals.
Why ask for road directions when you can just follow the river of souls flying to the wraith stone from Arcon Acorn? I think it actually makes more sense for Reathos to investigate this and find Acorn than it does for Ilunabar to sense dreaming people from that spot.
@Antarctic Termite

*hiss*

Hurry!

In all seriousness, I'll let you do that before I start the collab.
