Kyle smiled nervously at Kalinda, and realized she was just as nervous as him. Kyle spoke up to the fox man.

"I um...I dont have any powers. Im the son of NightWing and Oracle, former Batwomen, and grnadson of The Batman. So I may not have powers but I am currently the best teenage detecive and acrobat alive." Kyle coughed slightly. Talking about not having powers always made him uncomfortable. He didnt know why, but he always felt like because he didnt have any powers he had to try harder and not lose against someone with powers. Kyle looked at Kalinda and smiled. He really did have to do something with her though. I mean about their current situation. They cant have this awkward little whatever they introduce themselves to someone.

"Hey....Little Shadow? No how about....ill think of a nickname for you later,"Kyle whispered in Klainda's ear."Do you wanna go out later? As in...a...date?"

Kyle turned slightly red as he spoke. He was trying to be his calmest and bravest, because if he didnt do this now he might not get a chance for a bit. Class is soon, and it would be awkward trying to ask her during class. Then he turned his attention back to the fox man.

"Yea there is this anime with a nine tailed fox. He is a giant beast, that just blows almost everything up then gets sealed inside in infant. Then over the years they learn to work together as the infant grows up and they became an awesome duo."

Kyle laughed nervously. He had no idea why he added to Kalindas contribution of conversation.

My Hider

Darius was in quite the pickle now. After he had completed in assassinating his mark, he heard noises coming from down the hall. While Darius did not feel like killing his way out, but now that he completed his task he did not feel very motivated. His life was based on his current assignment and now he did not know what to do. Darius opened the cell, quickly lockpicking the cell open, hid the body against the side of the cell with the door, and sat facing the back wall of the cell. When the guards came, unfortunately they came for his now deceased mark.

The guards came into the cell, and immediately knew something was wrong. Darius had two options. Fight, flight, stay the night. He chose the latter of the three. The guards escorted him to their boss, Gregory. He was suprised to be recognized as "The Shadow", but realized this could work out for him.

Gregory looked at the man and nodded at the Templar to leave him alone " Do you not know who this is ? The Shadow. The best assassin in the Empire. Even the Emperor hired him a few times. So...Shadow. You are either here to kill me or one of the staff or you are just very unlucky. Either way. I think we may need your...expertise in this quest. *he explains the details of the quest that I just wrote and one of the Templar injects him with the explosive device too* In exchange of your services...I am prepared to give you 100000 EP ( the currency ) coins ( 100000 = more than the average guy makes in 2 years of constant work ). So...what do you say ? "

Darius felt like this man thought he had him right where he wanted him. So he had to show him what he was made of. He had no desire to kill anyone here, not that he any desire for anyone in this room to be alive either, and since he wasnt cuffed and wasnt a magi he had the element of suprise. Darius moved fast, faster than any normal human, and stood in front of Gregory. He looked at Gregory in the eyes, then spoke softly.

"I would gladly die of what you have injected me with, before becoming your bitch you little man. You are right, I have been used in service of even our emperor. I have skills, and know things, that would make your nightmares have nightmares. If you knew even half of what I knew your foes would be bent over your knees in a moments notice. I accept your contract, but I refuse the amount you offered."

Darius took out a small card and held it up for Gregory to have.

"The number on this card is my fee. It is much less than what you offered, but I do not charge more or accept less. It is the pride of a true master assassin."

Darius scoffed.

"I will be paid beforehand, not after. Also I will need to see the bodies of the two dead guards."

Mabel grinned maniacally. She looked at her assistant and shooked the vial in her direction.

"Yep yep. But you will never guess what kind of blood."

Mabel moved the blood vial over to where her privates where, and held it right over her clothing on that spot.

"I will give you a hint. It isnt THAT kind of blood."

Mabel laughed.

"Its beast blood! Remember that vampire beast that we discovered not too long ago? Our child leader brought back a vial of blood for me, and we have been working around the clock to uncover the secrets of this vial. I mean, can you imagine? This beasts are immune to sickness as I have discovered, and aging is next to nothing!"

ill be honest, my whole plan for kyle is him being the most fucked up guy here in the end. this will be death number 2. one more and he starts getting really really comittable fucked up. two more and he becomes the joker

@dabombjk Oh'. I understand now. It works then. So technically the Holy Templar will bring him to the Ascended Templar and he will offer your character a job , in exchange of his life ( kinda everything is punishable by death in the Empire ) , right ?

basically yea. its why i left the end of my post open, why i didnt say he ran away or hid. idk what his personality is but if he wasnt a dick he could offer him a job without threatening, if he was a dick then he could but Darius responds better to money.

@dabombjk That's what I was talking about. If the guy , your guy is after has stolen something and stashed it at the Citadel then he is either a servant or a Initiate. Neither can be near the prison cells of the Magi.

no no no. he didnt stash it it broke. and while he was in the prison, he wasnt going to be there forever. he was going to be transferred. its just he thought he could hide there but failed. he wanted to hide himself. and i was just thinking he snuck in. its how my guy got in

Kyle was more ashamed than he would ever admit. All he had to do was tell the strange man the truth, then keep his stupid mouth shut. He just not had to be energetic, not stupid, and not try to make a huge joke out of everything. Kyle watched as Vesta had to save him from himself, and stood there quietly as events unfolded. One of the new men that seemed to understand him a bit walked over to him and spoke to him.

"Look, this situation will hopefully resolve itself but this isn't something we can enter without making it worse. So stay out of it for now. More importantly, I can see your new. I can tell because..I've been in a similar situation as you."

Kyle smiled at this slightly. He had no idea what Kyle was going through, at least thats what Kyle thought. Although something in his voice......

Kyle shook his head clear of those thoughts. He was from another world, one with no magic or sword fights. Kyle knew exactly what he needed to do. He had a gift it seemed, and while he did not know what the limits of his gift were, he knew he had to do something. Kyle looked at the man that spoke to him.

"See listen here man. I hear, I understand you, communication is not a problem. But you see.....I am not the smartest guy around and you see.......later!"

Kyle gave him a wink and a two finger salute, then ran forward. He knew what he needed to do, and it was gonna hurt hella bad. But what the fuck right? Kyle leaped over the ring of earth that surrounded the two fighters, with more agility than anyone in his group would have expected, and jumped again right in front, and was hit by the attack meant for her.
