Dorian smiles as he muses over Ayeka's words.
"in the shadows or in a cold heart"
"But what is a cold heart? If not a normal heart drained of warmth by the burden of suffocating, shadow casting secrets that it must bare."
He dismisses the thought with a sip from his newly poured wine.
"So what did you do in this village?"
He asks moving the conversation to something lighter.

Kain was kneeling down with one knee in the grass, his fingers firmly massaging and testing his now soothed calf muscle.
'What the hell was going on!'
He thought to himself as he saw things he didn't understand and watched the headmaster do some things he didn't think possible.
Dusting himself off Kain brings himself to stand and jogs over to Markus. He approaches carefully like the kid was a delicate time bomb.

"What the hell was that!? Well, you got anything left or you giving up already?"

Kain only waits a moment before starting to jog again. His elemental energy still burning in his body, making him fidgety and anxious.

Clay practically tore his shirt off the moment he stepped down off the last stairwell step into the basement.
With a hand on his shoulder he rolls his arm while he paces back and fourth.

"Alright midget! Release your little man anger, C'mon! Make your move. Let's see what ya got!
Clay motions him to attack as he takes a readying stance and gives him a taunting smile.

"Ayeka" he replies softly with an innocent smile, "A beautiful name befitting of a beautiful child."
It was no accident that he used the word 'child', he didn't wish to insinuate false intentions.

"In my experience such beautiful things are often dangerous. My name is Dorian, can you please excuse me for a second.

Taking the last sip of his wine Dorian removes himself from his seat and sweeps across the room.
"Alex!" he calls her attention from beside her as he looked out over the tavern.
"I'm sorry to ask but can you please go downstairs and make sure Clay doesn't get himself or someone else killed?" his fingers gently find her elbow as he looks to her with an assessing nod and then fades back into the commotion of the tavern.

Dorian soon returns to his seat.
"Ayeka, so tell me, where are you from?"

A subtle mumbling escapes Levi's barely moving lips as his head sways from side to side. He had since broken out in a sweat, his face draught and pale, his skin burning up and his wounds growing red.

"oh, C'mon. I'm noch rea'y a hero, jus a nice guy." he says while wearing a stupid grin. A deep heavy cough soon rids it from his face.

Levi blinks hard as he slowly forces his eyes to focus on that around him, the cars movement wakes him and he soon gains some level of awareness.
"Hey, where are we taking me?" he asks with slurred words and a tone of concern and worry.
"W-what's going on?"
