@Crossfire

I have been imagining there is an inter planetary Internet service like the Cortex system from firefly.
I'm not sure if I have confirmed this yet?
If there is, what can we call it?
@Rultaos

Replied ;) and set up for time skip.
Hope you are ok with me throwing together a name and dabbling in your history.
Arex could be totally wrong, it's just information he found that was linked to benny via intense name and image searches. As always I'm happy to remove or edit. :)

'Verdan Iscariot' The name was on the tip of Arex's tongue and he nearly blurted it out instead of his own. Benny's story of his exploits triggered cache's of stored information Arex wasn't even aware he acquired. The ExoCalibur heist was notoriously impossible and profitable, therefore, many different agencies and organisations had since investigated it. Theories and conspiracies flooded the information matrix surrounding the true story of the heist.
Arex felt it as a hunch, unaware of the hidden subconscious processing and calculations that ran through his cybernetic implants. It put Benny's good mate and bio-mechanist at an 87% likelihood of being the betrayer. 23% higher than any other and most probable and likely recipient of the vast fortune offered from ExoCalibur's competition for the destruction.

"Arex" he simply replies after a short hesitant pause. No reason to confuse or complicate things by saying stuff that he didn't yet understand himself. He simply nodded along as if sharing an understanding of Benny's pent up wrath.

"Well Benny, to get that chance we are gonna have to run a few little errands for our friends of this fine ship first. Maybe you should thank them for their hospitality before you thank the guy who gave you that." He nods to skelly.
"I'm gonna rest up before we arrive but if you ever want me to look over that arm of yours just let me know. As long as you can do something for me." Arex says as he steps out into the door way and looks back. "Promise that you won't thank me for my work." he chuckles as he walks off to his room. A serious migraine suddenly taking hold of his head and echoing through out his skull.
@RumikoOhara@Themerlinhawk

"Huh, what?" Arex replied with a startled retort, looking up in sudden surprise he eyed the man questioning him. Shaking off his distant lost thoughts he brought himself back to the present.
"Oh, nah. No injury, just looking around."
He couldn't help but stare at the mans arm. Even if he managed to look away for brief glimpse, his curious eyes fell back to it.

"Bet ya got a story for that!" he says with a nod to the mechanical arm. Settling in he leant back against the wall beside the doorway and crossed his own arms over his chest as he took in his first proper look around the room.
With a sly smile he asks, "You in the right place for that? I think there was more of a mechanics workshop near the engine room."

Even though Arex had opened up the conversation he could only offer half his attention at best. Arex was still on alert listening and feeling out for the Dalentian's movements. Without her in sight he lost all feeling of her psychic aura.

Azerus let out a long deep pained sigh. For a moment he looked as a withered old man in the shadows of his hood. With tired eyes he gazed over the people before him. His fierce composure slipping away to something more of sorrow as he deflated.

His attention hung on the twins and their shameless display of magic.
Without thought, intention or hesitation his mind instinctively raced to analyse and calculate his surroundings and possible opponents. But truthfully he didn't want to fight, he didn't want to have to kill more women, or the innocent bystanders, especially in front of a child.

Luckily he had an out. Healing was a gift of light. Often the church helped these children discover such a gift but sometimes, just sometimes, due to no fault of their own, they would be late to find the holy path and develop it on their own. No one could truly say they understood the will or the workings of the God of light but as humble followers it was the churches job to see that such a gift was put to the correct use. It was their job to decide if the magic was a pure blessing and if so to bring it into servitude of the light.

This was not something Azerus could decide on alone, he had to present the witches before a bishop. It was now his duty to see that they were escorted there.

Slowly and calmly he walks down the alley towards the twin witches. The only sound is that of his feet displacing sand as he steps barefooted down the path. Beyond his gentle movements he subtly remains alert and cautious, all his senses at the ready.

@Crossfire
Lol, ok as long as our rooms are actually bigger than a closet.
:p
@Crossfire
I'll take room 1.
Plans look good but I feel every thing on the left of the crew deck is squished and the right is extremely open. The quarters should take up a third to half of that floor easy.

5 tables and (36)chairs and a kitchen bigger than 6 bedrooms.

Don't get me wrong it is awesome and I can live with it. I'm just being picky when I suggest pushing the common room to the right of the kitchen (or both across) and bringing the toiletries to the other side of the elevator, giving more room for the quarters and letting you narrow that hallway.

Edit: Or.. remove rooms 10 & 11 so that the dorms don't connect to the toilets, instead creating 2 new hallways to them. Lengthen the rooms to the same depth as the elevator/stairwell and extend the top dorms further out to the right. ( if you shrink the kitchen and move the common are over you could place a few rooms next to the elevator leaving just enough space for a hallway.)
@PlatinumSkink

Hope it's ok, I made some assumptions, then I went and just made some further stuff up and well, yea.
I'm happy to change anything if you like. It is your race after all :)

Arex saw no reason to accompany his crew mates back to their quarters, he had already been there twice. Instead as the elevator doors shut with Amy and Grayson inside, Arex gave them a casual silent nod, forgetting that Amy was blind.

Something nearby caused a curious tingling within. As he cautiously neared the 'war room' the hairs on the back of his neck seemed to stand on end as he peered inside just in time to see Lataniva coming his way.

Arex already knew to fear this woman from her reputation alone. But he could not prepare himself for the overpowering feeling of her Sh'kwarr. Her physic aura.
If felt dark yet writhed with life. It was dense and dominant, strong and powerful in its firm controlled state, sharp piercing purposeful edges wrapped the perplexing controlled compressed force.
Such a thing was hard to explain or comprehend with his half human mind but the Dalentian in him understood it well.
In comparison Arex's Sh'kwarr would appear as soft splotches of splayed wobbling jelly. Broken and incomplete. Without true form or structure.

In his first moments of exposure to a true Dalentian Arex found a new instinct to add to his basic fight or flight response, one that he never knew he had until now. It was of his Dalentian side, another of self preservation. The fearful subconscious physic animal within him wanted nothing more than to take his jelly aura and cocoon himself within it and hide away from this frightful presence.
His outer brain combatted the idea. Not only did it show distrust but it would be a sign of insult to even think he could oppose her will, to think his Sh'kwarr was as strong as hers.

Instead, with all his skill and self control he gives a greeting nod to those in the room and casually hurries off towards the medbay with a fake sense of urgency. Arex needed a moment to gather his thoughts. While he knew of the Dalentian's, he wasn't expecting or prepared for that response. Maybe it was further clue to who or what he himself was.
