I was thinking that we could put together David's idea plus Blitz's idea--that is, the Old Villains are ravaging worlds and all our powers are swapped. We need to figure out how to use them and then defeat the bad guys (who then turn good ala Grinch). That reasonably combines most of our contributions, and then we can easily throw in some of yours alongside, especially the snowball one.

Technically it isn't. In this case, it's not as much a physics issue as it is a definition issue. For the same reason, a square circle can't exist, nor a right wrong. And referring to physics, I personally think the System would regulate and match physics across dimensions.

It wouldn't. That wouldn't even make sense. Universes need certain physics to exist in certain ways, and the differences are large enough that different physics are needed for different universes. Travelling between different lawed universes would be regulated to fit the one currently in, but even that can be bypassed if really thought through.

So are we doing the what if via simulation, are the characters actually going to be there or are they copies, will they remember the canon and/or remember the what if afterwords, etc.?

The symbol for the what if will be /*\, so put that at the top of any post for the what if.

Everyone stay off RPG entirely between midnight tonight and midnight tomorrow. Spend the day with family and such. Plus, things offline can inspire you for IC after christmas.

We've got to wait for at least Sven so it'll be a bit after christmas before starting.

Which ideas are being used and in what order and what combination?
