First of all, that has absolutely nothing to do with it. We don't insult Texas, but other places I go to don't either. I don't particularly talk about other states when I leave mine because there's literally no point. And here in Texas, we don't push stereotypes other than our own, so that's also a factor.

Not true. I've traveled throughout the United States, and I've had several instances of people asking me or someone else I know if they were from Texas because of how polite Texans are.
