All this talk had me curious. Apparently, the name I was going to use as ES's real name is that of a Judaic archangel.

A lot add in things that you don't consider canon. You, as a sect that uses only a single version (KJ, right?) of the bible and tries to interpret it as literally as possible, are more rare than common.

That's because I don't cite the names of sects in my notes.
One great difference is that apparently there are sects that only have 3 archangels, when the most common version is that archangel is one of the classes of heavenly beings, in Christianity the top rank whereas it's in the bottom... I think it's the third lowest in Judaism? Definitely in the bottom five. Just checked, it was third lowest. Only above Angels and Powers.

See this is what I'm trying to find out, now that I've actually got christians on call to compare against.

For reference, I've never heard the idea that there were only 3 archangels before, so that's interesting.

About 5 are pretty consistent but the specific ones change from sect to sect. For example Zadkiel isn't always in the seven but often is.
Yeah, Gabriel, Michael, Uriel, and Raphael are pretty much always in the seven.
