@Xaltwind I don't think it's unfair for me to take umbrage with someone changing their character to be exactly what I mentioned that I was trying to do for the sake of originality, deliberately trying to avoid doubling up on the accepted characters, and then just saying "too bad" when I politely asked them to reconsider.

But like I said, I'll come up with something else.
@Archmage MC Yeah but I want to play, y'know, something that I want to play, not just be a checkbox. And I don't want to make a Third eldritch character. Two's company as they say. I guess I just don't understand why it was necessary to edit your already accepted character to take up space that I clearly stated that I was already working on.
Well now that Light has been edited to make her too much like my only decent idea so far, I guess I'm gonna come up with something else. Eventually. I'll let you know.
I plan to base my character on the Star Spawn from Forgotten Realms, which offshoots of living stars that exist in the Far Realms, and are the Great Old One analogues... so that is to say I'd prefer if we could avoid having other "eldritch" races.
I might actually slightly pivot to a psionics-themed character. Making his sanctum all about stars, crystals, space, that kinda Far Realms shit.
Okay I do have a pitch, but I want to make sure I'm not stepping on toes. Would it be ok if I made a chapter keeper for an orrery/arcane sanctum sort of zone? I would be making a Star-Spawn wizardly sort of character to suit it.
Ugh all of my good ideas are already taken. Frustrating.
Seishiro was surprised at the rate at which the bespectacled girl took off, and jammed his printout into his jacket pocket to follow after her. He was forced to pick up his pace so that she didn't leave him behind, and his boots slamming against the floors echoed through the hallway. When they finally reached her car, he was surprised by the make of it. He was expecting someone so clean-cut to be driving a pristine sedan or compact; something with really good gas mileage or similarly boring yet practical features. He was quite familiar with off-roaders, tractors, and similar vehicles from his time living in the country.

However, as soon as she started laying into them with a laundry list of rules, his mouth tightened in irritation. This wasn't just an affectation of his carefully constructed punk persona, he was just genuinely annoyed by being bossed around. His father, while strict with training and when the two of them were in battle, was surprisingly lax when it came to disciplining Seishiro himself. He took care of the house and his chores without prodding, since he knew they needed to be done, and was generally left to his own reconnaissance.

"Come on," he groaned, climbing into the car's passenger seat, "If you spend any more time giving us a bunch of frickin' rules we're gonna be late." He reached under the seat to adjust its position, and immediately slammed it back as far as it would go. Comfortable with this amount of legroom, he propped his heavy boots up on the dashboard. Looking back at the driver, he clapped his hands in a goading gesture. "Let's get this show on the road!"
Let me catch up with my other RP, read through what we have so far, and I'll try and come to a decision.

If the head of staff position wasn't taken up I would offer up a Majordomo, perhaps this can still be arranged?
@Xaltwind Yeah I'm doing exactly that, just kind of drawing a blank. I was never much of an MMO player so I'm thinking about all the different skills in Runescape and what would be cool to automate there... The answer is everything because Runescape is an awful game.
