Hey what's up, my name is DeadDrop if you know me from RPG Guild then you know that I'm a true survivor. Maybe you roleplayed with me with on one of my successful roleplays series, or with me on another roleplay hosted by someone else. I have a way of presenting roleplay that is considered southpaw in traditional roleplay circles.
My favorite roleplays of all time would have to be the following:
...That's it, no runner up. I wracked my brain trying to find a third, but since Elron Koltrey is retconned well - guess we don't have a runner up.
Admittedly I trolled every roleplay I've been in on Guild up until a few years ago, I found none of them spoke to me and didn't treat them like they mattered. Only BLEAK and Nightland/Divinity Lost actually spoke to me, evoked emotion and made me think - of course the roleplays I'm still in do the same, and can't be added to the GOAT wall.
My current roleplays I'm enjoying and giggling in are:
Besides those two roleplays, I'm pretty much inactive. Alot of my day to day is moved off away from the guild, and I come back to service the above roleplays with insane imagination, bravado and dedication. In real life I'm an insane go getter motivated by a passion to continuously win, here I'm just a laid back roleplayer.
When I look for roleplays I find myself drawn to sci-fi, big story arcs and something that makes me feel. Needless to say, you don't find that alot on guild anymore, just downbad 1x1s and GMs with deadly aim.

While Felix thought he was safe when the security team simply approached him, he was dead wrong. As they processed his credentials a camo-tarp was thrown off about 50 meters away from the poor Carter. It was a squad of special operations Vlhakians also known as Spec-Vlhaks. While the team's name didn't matter, the AT rocket that was just fired hit the truck and took out the two guards that went to pick up Felix Carter. They were now, corpsed for all intents and purposes. Now small arms fired down on him as he was faced with returning home safely, or becoming a corpse.
For Lancer he flew down onto the tarmac in his invisible chair, safe and sound for the most part. He landed down into CHAOS, everyone was running around doing something. There were medical teams tending to the wounded, the security forces dealing with the downed pilots and of course the fire department which dealt with Hammond and the base itself. Vlasko was simply fucked, but for those that survived they would see another day.
The team that was there would be rallied into one of the classrooms for a briefing from Gravestone himself, the old man has appeared outside of his super AWACS plane to brief the group on simply what had happended in that hell flight. "I have good news." The old man croaked, holding onto his cane as he looked over those that were in attendance. "Jackson survived, the SAR teams got to him. He's in a medically induced coma though. Angel-6 was a spy for Vlhakian and took off during the fight, we don't know where he is now. Also where the fuck is Carter?"
Name: Gammon St. Laurent Age: 30. Sex: Male Loyalty: Republic Unit:The Republican Guard, 4th Cavalry Division, 3rd Battalion Rank in the Military: Second Lieutenant Role in the Military: Tank Commander
APPEARANCE
Gammon stood at six foot one, he has short brown hair and hazel eyes. He appears to be of an average build. He wears general tanker fatigues as he is usually in his tank as it's the commander, his boots are dirty and when he isn't in fatigues he wears a standard Republican combat uniform with load-bearing equipment. While he looks like a gentleman he is skeptical of others and often double checks things before going ahead with what he has in store.
PROFILE
Moralism has no place in war, no it's put aside as you move in to destroy your enemy. You could call Gammon a killer if you wanted but in reality, he was just a soldier doing his job, he would tell you that if you ask him. It's a battle for survival, in the end, someone has to pull the trigger, while he is rather sociable for an officer there is one thing that splits him from the average officer. He commissioned from ranks as a Sergeant, he has the insider knowledge of the enlisted men and the reputation to back up the experience.
He is supportive of the republic and is a patriot, so when the rebellions came it was no surprise that he would stay with the Republican Guard. While he isn't too vocal about his opinions he is known to build a good rapport with his troops and as a low-level tactician
BIOGRAPHY
Born into a military family, Gammon was a army brat but he knew that he would have to fill his father's role one day. His father James was a Tank Commander in the Republican Guard and his mother was not spoken of much due to her absence in the household. Regardless he was brought up in a very strict environment in a private school, Gammon's education would be the family name's survival if all things went according to plan. When he turned the ripe age of 18 Gammon enlisted in the Republic's army and ended up in the Republican Guard however his father's plans to be an officer were dashed as Gammon became an armored tanker crewman.
While all was not lost Gammon found himself at home among the other tankers and soon learned how to control the steel beasts. He became accustomed as a driver, then a loader and then the gunner. Once he was fully qualified he became an instructor for the light tanks before moving into some use and qualifications for the bi-pedal war machines. By this time he had served 10 years under the guard, no accomplishment to scoff at. While he had not seen alot of action he would see it in a few years as an officer.
Gammon took a commission and was appointed to the rank of Second Lieutenant, he soon trained and qualified himself as tank commander for the Republican Guard's light tanks. His father retired and returned to his estate, he was a Colonel by the time he was finished his career. While everything looked up in Gammon's life, the rebellion started and sides were drawn along with the lines. He was called to war, and under Dekker's command, he would give the Rebels exactly what they wanted.

General Information
βSo, this is fate?β
NAME: Johnny Lovecraft
ALIASES // TITLES: 'Young Johnny'
SEX: Male
AGE: 29
APPEARANCE:
Johnny stands at a solid six foot three, he appears to be of a muscular build and has hazel eyes, he has a deep scar on his left cheek. His casual wear usually consists of old scrapteam BDUs and a under shirt, while when he is working he is usually casual business wear usually without a tie and it's usually a pretty comfortable suit - Johnny has one of many. When it comes to combat, Johnny usually selects a light-weight exo-suit and his scrapteam uniform. Somedays you cant put that past behind you.
OCCUPATION: Scrapteam Crew Lead /=/ Legal Counsel
Psychological Profile
βWow, talk about remorse.β
Jokester | Abrasive | Charming | Power-Hungry | Dedicated | Scarred (some positive and some negative)
PERSONAL GOAL:
Johnny's goal is simply to continue to acquire wealth and fame through his actions in the Pirate's campaign, the Pirates are simply an under dog in this election and if they were to win as the under dogs - Johnny would get some of the credit of course. The party looks less than legal, and besides when you need something illegal done always check with the legal guy. Thereof course were other parties that offered him more money to work for their campaigns, but Johnny is a wild card and isn't held down by traditional corporate culture.
CAMPAIGN GOAL:
Johnny will attempt to keep the Pirate party from being thrown out of the race due to some... legal differences. Aswell if the need arises, protect Serena if needed but a federal security detail should be able to cover that. In the end, secure their complete victory in the city.
PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY:
It's a dog eat dog world.
If you want to survive you'll need to have your wits about you and a hard grip on your .45 because the world is going to fight back and fight back with everything it's got. There is someone out there training harder and better than you, ready to kill you when your time comes. You just have to come and hit the world back harder, the belief that you can do anything if you set your mind to it is one Johnny holds. You can take the world by the balls, you just have the guts to try.
POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY:
Anti-Corporate could be a word to describe alot of things.
The corporations are killing the world, but who wants to be apart of that? Someone who is in it for the money of course, but that would be just right for Johnny? No, he's looking for something more - imagine a world where you didn't have to look over your back because of a post you liked. The world was simply better off with less regulaiton, less fear and more freedom. That's a stepping stone the Pirate Party seemed they could achieve, Johnny believed it.
SECRETS:
Dubai, New Korea, Toyko-2. How many jobs has he done, they were all sketchy some more than others. Crimes were committed, and not the haha I stole from a store kind of crimes either. These black ops, if leaked would spell the end of Lovecraft.
FEARS:
Corporate Death Squad
The chills, the fear, the paranoia it will all come down in the end. A team will kick in the door and corpse old Johnny Lovecraft. The future is catching up.
REPUTATION:
Johnny's reputation is mostly blank, a scrapteam member is better left unidentified during their work than identified lest he want his family kidnapped and his dog sold on the cyber-dog fight show (the worst punishment a dog could face). Johnny is known more so as a break-out legal success and a 'former' mercenary of the Scrapteam. Those who have good memories may remember him as a kid as a short-lived armed robber, his reputation is mostly coming from his involvement with the eccentric Pirate Party.
LIKES:
- Firearms - Hot Babes - Money - Irish Car Bomb (the drink) - Rationale Discussion - Side Work - Books - Money again
DISLIKES:
- Corporate slimeballs - Paying bills - The law - People without a plan - The Enforcers - AUGMENTATIONS!!!
QUIRKS:
- Johnny is paranoid, you'll never know what he has going on in his head. - Anti-Aug, one of the few pure humans who don't indulge in the augmentation lifestyle. - Johnny owns a jellyfish named Mr. Wiggles.
Background Information
βYea, I'm a big deal - I know.β
Imagine being born in such a shit hole you know it from the second you are born? That's Seattle for you it's just a heaping pile of shit just waiting to be chucked into the dumpster where a corporate team will dispose of it with hellfire plasma blasters, yea those exist. The one thing I learned growing up is everyone want to fuck you over for some reason, especially me! When I dropped out of school my dad said I'd be nothing, he was a big prick of a doctor and my mom ran off with the insurance broker from Freekcorp, so who was I suppose to listen to? I listended to the streets and damn that's where I ended up making my fortune, ran with a gang called the Main St. Gutters but they got smoked by the Civilis Ciphers. That's when I went to make it on my own.
Did a few armed robberies, got me thrown in corporate jail and that's when I realized I wanted out from this cyber hell. The guards didn't do much to rehabilaite me, probably agitated me a bit more than they ended up realizing. Yea, when I came out I was a new man not in the sense that I was going to stop but - no one was going to stop me. I joined up with a Scrapteam Cell in Seattle but quickly moved from stateside to the world. Yea travelling the world was cool, all these black ops living job to job was a weird lifestyle. I lost alot of weight but gained it back when I got out.
I dont like augs maybe I should of made that clear from the start, I'm just not one of those people that cucked for the cybernetic culture. It's dangerous and the effects are life changing, I was able to survive this long against augged targets, soldiers whatever with my wits and a team. Of course we had some generous gear but we didn't need to get our heads fried to see it work. Yea, fast forward a few years and when I mean a few years I mean a long ass time. I'm old, getting old I'm also a senior in my profession - but it's time for a career change. A old man can do a young mans job.
I went back to school as a corporate lawyer, in shitty old Seattle. Two things I didn't like, but I could see the money in it all, it was some kind of twisted devils advocate. I'm seeing that things aren't what I use to see them as, the world needs change if I'm going to do it then it might aswell be with some crazy, like the Pirate party. Maybe I just want to see the world burn, I don't know anymore.
My first client was Serena of the Pirate Party while I was skeptical about helping her out at first I coulden't really say no it was my first big case. I took it and won the case, something about corporate fraud not much I really could care about but after finishing the case she asked me to stay on. She was impressed with my charisma, naturally, she wanted me to stay around for the campaign to help her win the seat on the council. Naturally I stayed, the pay which probably was illegal was good. Who could say no?
Operative Information
βI'm livin' a clean life.β
AUGMENTATIONS:
None!
EQUIPMENT:
FREEKFAST-EXO: An exosuit that increases speed, agility and dexerity. For all purposes, a fast exo-suit for recon and close quarters battle.
KillStyle Clothing - A sleek and cool suit, made for badass lawyers.
Inter-Law: All things related to law, in one cyber-textbook.
SKILLS:
Combat Veteran:
Johnny has seen combat before, he's been in multiple fights leaving him at an advantage as a skilled ex-merc - should the situation call for it.
Silver Tongued:
Making him a good lawyer, is Johnny's ability to sway anyone - he is extremely charming and knows his word placement. He could probably talk himself out of being arrested, it comes with the cockiness.
FLAWS:
Paranoid
What!? Who's that, who the fuck is following me... What the?
Party-goer
The life of the party, literally - there isn't a time where Johnny will say no to a party. Sometimes, partying can be too much, especially the synth-coke.
Act first, think later.
Living by a in-the-moment motto, Johnny often makes critical mistakes in situations where he should just simply think before acting.
