Hakuryu had been shocked by the sudden appearance of the mini droid, one of Auriola's he'd remembered. Lucky he hadn't attacked. However, the voice of Prelati brought him back to his sense. And then, as though the shock of the little bot hadn't been enough, he immediately came face to face with one of the many suits of armors that filled the library.
"Tch..." he sucked his teeth as he turned quickly. He put his right hand up, using his forearm to block a swing from the suit of armor. He brought his left fist up in almost a single fluid motion. "Fudou Sajinbaku!" His fist seemed to spin as it made contact with the suit of armor. Nakajima-Sensei might have obliterated the armor with this move, but he wasn't quite there. He felt it as soon as he made contact. Even so, the Armor, though it was a bit larger than him, lifted off the ground and flew up into the ceiling.
There was another, it wasn't too big, but a smaller one had already gone after the drone. Now, Roundhouse Kick. He then though as he shifted his weight, swinging his leg in a semi-circle like motion. The kick that connecting with the mid section of the armor sent it sent it flying into the stacks to the right of Hakuryu and the armor itself. The young man took a breath, satisfied with the move as the stack began to tip over. It would fall, but likely knock over another suit of armor or two. However, he wasn't so stupid as to believe he could win this battle on his own. Though, the sound of the first suit of armor crashing down onto the floor just after his attack on the second suit was quite the confidence boost.
Still, he was lucky that Dimitri and Auriola arrive almost immediately as he turned back to face was was easily the largest suit of armor there. Dimitri seemed determined to take on the hulking behemoth right away. He could likely handle it. "I'll back you..." he had begun his confirmation of dimitri's orders, but stopped when Auriola spoke. She was right. Somebody would need to stop Prelati.
"You're right Auriola." Hakuryu said with a quick nod and a smirk before running past the group. "Sorry about the mess by the way!" he called back to the two noting the fallen book stacks and mess of armor pieces on the floor. He was charging right ahead, prepared to stopped Prelati. Though he had no idea how to do that. Maybe all he would have to do is put her out of commission himself.
"Prelati, if that is who you really are, I'll give you a chance to surrender." He said simply. "Or I'm gonna have to put you down."
Wafer D. Kite - You wanna what? I'll just be over here!
Kite groaned as the series of events laid out before him unfolded. He had worked on the ship after the trip through reverse mountain, which included cleaning and additional repairs that he hadn't had time to finish after the battle with Krabbe. On top of that, he hadn't had a proper rest in a long time. His body was still fairly fatigued, malnourished and exhausted. Even so, as the crew was called to attention and challenged he couldn't help but stand in awe of the island. It was battle ready and full of a slew of interesting people. He wanted to learn so much more until he noticed how close one of the cannon balls came.
"HEY!" he shouted angrily. "I just fixed that!"
Kite growled. Although they didn't have many options he was more than willing to agree to the challenge. However, he knew that it was possible he might be something of a liability. Still he would be as useful...
"Hey, Slick and Kite! I left my weights at home. I need to bench press you guys."
Bench him? Oh no no no. The, admittedly attractive, muscle woman was not about to bench him. He glanced at her for a second before lightly nudging Slick forward and turning immediately to watch as Caesar stepped out onto the apparent dodgeball arena. "Hmmm... This oughta be a fun watch." He said as he watched. He didn't know much about the rest of the crew overall. This was a good chance to learn more about them. At least in competitions and stuff like that.
"I don’t suppose I could get you to drop this whole thing, right?"

Aleksandr is a light hearted, kind, and cheerful, individual who rarely allows anything to keep him from moving forward in order to accomplish any goal he may have set his mind to. He acts with kindness towards anyone who may come his way, though he makes exceptions for those who he feels do not deserve such treatment. For instance, as the head of the Student Disciplinary Committee, he treats every member of the student body with care and is always willing to offer a helping hand. The same goes for the Archery Club for which he is the president. Even so, while he will offer a shoulder to cry on, he is quick to take action against somebody who would bring harm to another member of the student body.
It goes without saying that Aleksandr is strong willed. He has a strong sense of duty when it comes to sticking up for those who are unable to do so themselves. Even so, he has trouble believing in the system of law in place, favoring his own sense of morality and “justice” as he puts it when taking the time to make a speech. This likely stems from the legal proceeding regarding his custody between his mother and father and how he had no say, and how despite the fact that his father was a good man, money and influence were all that really mattered. He has a bit of a problem with people trying to force him to do things he doesn’t want to, because so much of his life is under the control of his mother and his grandfather.
Because of them, and his status, it is not often he is allowed to truly speak his mind, whether at home or at public events. Thus, he makes sure to do so when given the opportunity. As the president of the Archery Club and the head of the Student Disciplinary Committee he is afforded this right far more often. That is, so long as he is ready and willing to do so, which he always is. Those who engage him learn fairly quickly that he is indeed quick witted, quite the actor, and almost always ready and prepared to use anything at his disposal to defend himself, his friends, the student body and anybody else left under his care. Perhaps all of this comes with the notion of being a person of influence, a dutiful grandson and child, and being true to himself.

Aleksandr Minamoto was born into the prestigious Minamoto and Russian Orlov families. The Minamoto’s history in Japanese spans decades, if not centuries as descendants of the historic Minamoto clan. Alek’s grandfather, Hiroshi Minamoto, even boasts being the descendant of the legendary Minamoto no Yorimitsu. As a young man his grandfather gained wealth and fame by opening what began as a small food stand. This food stand grew into a small restaurant which grew into a larger restaurant, into a catering business, and into a chain of restaurants known worldwide. He worked hard to build his empire while learning all he could about business in order to better fit the roles he’d be taking on. Now, the Minamoto restaurants boast prestige, full restaurants and catering to the the biggest names in entertainment, sports, and any other member of the upper echelon you can think of.
The Orlov family reached its status of wealth and power through Aleksandr’s great grandparents, Alexei and Izolda Orlov. Working together the two created a fashion empire. It had been his great grandmother Izolda’s dream after all, and his great grandfather Alexei had no qualms helping make it a reality. As time went on the corporation would be passed down to their son, Aleksandr’s grandfather Mikhail who would then pass it on to his mother Veronika.
That being said, Alek’s story truly begins with his parents engagement. As preparation for a corporate merger in which doors would open up for both companies in regards to public relations and celebrity sponsorship, among other things, Mikhail and Hiroshi developed a plan. Their children would marry. Aleksandr’s father, Itsuki had his reservations, but ultimate agreed to meet the girl at Hiroshi’s behest. Veronika spent time charming Itsuki, refusing to let anything get in the way of her plans to further build her family empire.
In the end, the two married. However, once the wedding had been completed Veronika was able to show her true self. She was manipulative, power hungry, and ruthless when necessary. However, she deterred Itsuki’s notions of worry by explaining she had to be like that for business. Still, she only needed to keep up the act until she conceived their first child, Aleksandr. Itsuki had had other names in mind, but ultimately forfeited the first name in order to appease his wife. He loved her after all. And so, Aleksandr was born.
He grew up happily with his father around. Hiroshi was still in charge of the business, and with Veronika taking the reigns of her own family business, he spent most of his time with Itsuki. He would often take him camping, showed him how to hunt, and made sure he never had a problem with getting his hands dirty. Veronika never argued. It was good if he knew how to protect himself. Aleksandr, her precious little Shura, was her treasure after all; not to mention a free model and a good way to get into other industry she had no time to pursue herself when she was younger. She could make him act, push him into photoshoots, and many other things that could only serve to boost her fashion empire.
Itsuki didn’t like this. Aleksandr wasn’t a tool. He wanted to give the boy a choice when it came to his life. He always made sure Alek knew this. He had a choice, much to Veronika’s dismay. They simply couldn’t see eye to eye. Even so, Itsuki refused to let her force his little golden boy to be anything the child didn’t want to be. Veronika would scoff at his opposition. However, she knew it would take more than just her. So, she brought in Aleksandr’s grandfather.
Itsuki didn’t fall in line as the two planned. And because of his presence, neither did Aleksandr. This was how it came to divorce. Hiroshi was completely on Veronika’s side. If Itsuki would not do as he wished, he would have to leave. They were able to pay for better lawyers. Veronika got custody. Itsuki was not allowed visitation.
Aleksandr was upset about this. He was more upset about the lack of control he would have in the future of his life. He was put in many classes: self-defense, archery, business, modeling, etc. His mother and grandfather wanted to keep him busy. The busier he was the less he could resist. He learned his lessons well. He even began to use this to his advantage. He got funds for the school Archery Club, of which he quickly became president of. He took CPR and first aid classes after an incident with his grandfather. He was determined to take what his father had taught him and use it to turn his family businesses around. He could play the part of a good son and grandson if it meant enacting his own plans in the future.
It helped later on at least when he met his now best friend, Ienari Sawada. He wasn’t much the ambitious type, but he was about the same age and fun to see at parties and events. Even when he went away Aleksandr would call him on an almost daily basis. Perhaps that is why he felt a little betrayed when Ienari was put on the Student Council. He’d hoped to secure the place as president, but lost to Akira Komaeda. Still, he took up the position as Student Disciplinary Committee president. He needed to keep Akira in place and fight for the students and it was fun to see Ienari in a position where he might need to do a little work. Besides, his friend was still his friend through and through. Aleksandr was never the type who could simply drop someone he trusted.
And so, the story continues.

Eagle’s Eye - Aleksandr sees things differently than others. Apart from his amazing sense of vision, which allows him to see things from great distances with astounding clarity, he can see things from another perspective. It’s almost as though he has a bird’s eye view of the battlefield around his immediate vicinity (roughly a mile or some in diameter around him). Because of this he is able to accurately survey his surroundings, strategize, lend a helping hand, make seemingly blind shots, and possibly even predict the moves of his opponent if he takes (and has) the time to study them. Freerunning - Aleksander's mother tried to force him into gymnastics classes in order to further the appearance she was trying to create for him. However, rather than simply refuse, he talked her into the alternative that is Freerunning. He is incredibly skilled in the art, and its practical applications as a style similar to Parkour helps him greatly with mobility and the slightly higher focus on the flashy side of Parkour appeased his mother. It's also a fun hobby as he doesn't really get to go hunting as much as he'd like and archery practice can only entertain him for so long in a given day. He's found that Freerunning is also helpful when it comes to self-defense and keeping himself safe and at a distance if he gets into a fight. Combat & Skills - This young man’s abilities go much farther than simple natural talents. His skill set has something of a broad range, the most prominent of which can be found here:
Marksmanship - Aleksandr’s marksmanship stems from years of practice coupled with tremendous visual acuity. His eyes have always been especially powerful allowing him to see with amazing clarity/detail from varying distances. It is partially because of this that combat utilizing many a manner of projectile weapons comes so naturally to him. He can throw knives, fire a gun, and most notably put his bow to good use, with deadly accuracy.
Hunting & Tracking - Aleksandr became especially skilling in the hunting and tracking of animals due to countless trips out into the wilderness with his father at a young age. Though he could not continue a tradition he had built with the man due to the circumstances surrounding his family, Aleksandr continues to practice his skills in secret under the guise of school trips and special events when he can convince his mother and grandfather.
Kyudo - Aleksandr’s skills in archery are well above those of the average practitioner. He practices often and has gotten himself to the point that he is capable of firing up to 16 arrows per minute. Additionally, he is capable of stringing and readying his bow for combat, should need be, in just under 3 minutes. He is practicing to fire more at a faster rate and string the bow under pressure faster as well.
Cooking - Aleksandr learned to cook from his father, because lord knows his mother wasn’t capable of teaching him. He is best at preparing wild game and is pretty skilled with a knife if he does say so himself. Some of his favorite things to make include venison, boar, bear and alligator, though he’ll settle for a nice cut of steak any day as well if he can get it.
First-Aid - When you’re out hunting it is very possible and very easy to get hurt. So, Aleksandr learned various first aid techniques for himself and his father. This also comes in handy in the case of emergency at school, during club activities or at competitions.
CPR - Although some would consider this a silly skill to pursue, it along with other skills that Aleksandr believes should be considered basic human knowledge, this young rich boy was quick to jump on the chance to learn if it meant the possibility of saving someone’s life.
// E Q U I P M E N T
Compound Bow - Although Aleksandr owns and maintains a composite bow uniform to those used for club activities and competitions, his weapon of choice is a custom made compoun bow. This bow is primarily “curled” to a smaller size unless needed, in which case Aleksandr can fairly easily uncurl it to its full length. The bow is yellow primarily with black accents adorning the smaller pieces of it and certain parts, though only in small amounts so as not to overshadow the yellow. It also helps the yellow pop a bit more. It was a stylistic choice on his part.
Quiver - Aleksandr’s quiver is composed of a light-weight, symmetrical outer frame that houses two separate bundles of arrows. Each bundle typically holds an average of 20 arrows, 40 altogether. The frame surrounds the arrow bundles at the top and bottom, with a narrow spine between while leaving the arrow shafts and arrowheads visible.
Arrows - Currently, Aleksandr uses regular arrows without much variation. They are sturdy and well balanced. He also has smaller throwing arrows which he can use with amazing skill in case he chooses to avoid wasting other arrows unnecessarily.
First Aid Equipment - Aleksandr is rarely without a number of items which could be used to administer first aid for quick fixes. He has a few smaller compartments in his quiver which house these items, though he also keeps a few in small pouches hung at his waist and snugly wrapped around his left leg.

Hakuryu had spent much of his time scouting the ground away from Auriola and Dimitri. He'd thought it best if they didn't stick too close together. He was quiet, surveying the area, paying close attention to his surroundings as he'd been taught. Maybe, it was sheer coincidence. Maybe, it was the draw of a magic. The fact remained that he'd felt... Something. Something was pushing him towards one building in particular. The old library. He took a breath as he approached it. There was an odd air about the area. It felt horrible, terrifying really. But even so, Hakuryu felt excited. He couldn't explain it. He knew it was dangerous, but even so he threw a small flare, a little firework you could easily get your hands on and forced his way through the door.
A devil using the front door. Who'd have thought? He chuckled quietly to himself as he moved forward slowly, cautiously goingfurther into the depths of the library. He knew he should have waited for Auriola or Dimitri or somebody to come as back up, but he couldn't help himself. He kept pressing onward until he saw something. A girl standing over a large circle of some kind. "What is that?" He asked, his voice hushed as he attempted to make sense of it. He was hiding behind one of the stacks, though as he pressed against it, a loose book from one of the shells fell off. Even so, he was so entranced that he didn't even notice it.

Mamoru watched her movements as he prepared the blast of energy comprised of the earth flames. He couldn't quite utilize gravity to its fullest potential, but he could most certainly fire off a large attack. He pushed off the wall as she got close. He press a foot on one of the drones, which had positioned itself under him perfectly, and kicked off of it. "1 Ton Blast!" He said as a sphere of the concentrated flames flew at her. If she watched able to dodge, it'd hurt like hell, but it'd also increase her own personal gravity until it was difficult to lift a finger, let alone move. A more experienced and in control opponent would have had no trouble. Either they'd have dodged, or they'd have stomped him before he could concentrate enough flames. Ideally, he'd need more time to pull this specific attack into its strongest form though. This blast was premature and not up to its full potential.
Wafer D. Kite - Better than new! Ready to sail again~
Kite groaned as he neared the finish line of his marathon. He'd had to clean up the mess Slick had made and then go on to better reinforce the ship. They were in the Grand Line now. This was so excited. But what wasn't exciting? WORKING WHILE THE OTHERS HUNG OUT AND ATE.
"Still, I can't wait." He grinned to himself as he hammered down planks of wood. By the time the crew got back to the ship it's be in tip top shop. Then he saw Captain Runch. He'd brought him food. "OH! Thank you sir." He said as he hopped up. Even the bowl of cereal was more than greatly appreciated. He took a bite.
"WOAH!" It was the most amazing bowl of cereal he'd ever eaten. "Thank you sir!" He grinned. He wanted to ask more. To talk more. So much more. "I hope we'll meet again." Runch's power was amazing and from the glimpses Kite got, so was the cereal man's crew. And like that, Runch was gone again. Kite enjoyed the rest of his bowl and placed it on the ground. He had to get back to work. And now that he'd eaten and had time to sit, he was more prepared to finish it up. "Then, I've gotta start getting to know the crew." he spoke to himself as lifted the bottom of his shirt and used it to wipe some of the sweat from his brow. He'd been working for a bit before Runch came. He was nothing if not a hardworker.
"More than one soul huh?" Zenoram asked softly as he looked from Jamie to Ferrin and back again when she began speaking herself. He was curious about it.
"Bit of a stretch. I mean, they're all different people. We're just crazy on paper." "But we're together." "Heh true."
They were quiet as Jamie explained. Zenoram opened his mouth to speak, some form of condolence or anything, but Zero urged him not to.
"You don't always need to say something." "But..." "Everyone has a little darkness in their past. Everyone has something. Besides, we can hardly understand the magic and we don't know everything. Besides, we don't know her that well." "Right..." "Now, let's see how long til we finish. And watch out for this guy.
When Zero said that Zenoram became quiet. He glanced at Ferrin for a moment. Zero didn't trust him. That was clear. But he didn't trust almost anyone. Still, he found that following the Dragon Slayer's gut could be the best course of action, most often it could keep them alive. However, before he could ask he noticed the shift in Karn. "Oooooh, you're Karn's roomie huh?" He said with a bright smile. She was quick to turn around though. "Karn is really cute, so I bet you were too." Zenoram with as he hugged her. Still, he let go quicker. She wasn't Karn, so she might not be big on the hugging.
"Come on Zenoram. Ask about the ship."
Zenoram sighed and turned back to Jamie. "So... Um... How long til we reach the island GM?" he finally asked Jamie.

Mamoru growled, no visible change in reaction to his childhood friend now being naked. As she came at him his drones fired beams of energy at her to help slow her down. With that distraction he leaped over her using a blast from his gloves to propel himself, and a much weaker form of the gravity manipulation typically expected of the Simon Gauntlets adorning her hands to control his trajectory. He did say he had been using knock off after all. As he used the gloves to land himself on the wall behind Ringo he pressed one down and lifted the other. He aimed a blast at her from behind and fired.
As he did so his drones began to circle her are amazing speeds. If this was all she had, he'd be severely disappointed after they finished. Of course, only after he got over her being naked and got her some clothes. He face would probably be as red as the storm flame, if not more so. But for now, he was gonna win. All he really had to do was knock her out of Dying Will Mode.
Arkos listened calmly, offering a small nod to the information he was given by the native. "Thank you," he said with little to no worry in his voice. He couldn't help but chuckle at the actions of the companion of the apparent female he'd been speaking to. She seemed a little more cautious, no doubt a tad more knowledgeable of the PTO. Still, they were not the average PTO legion. Albeit, in name, even if that were all one were to consider, they were much worse. There lord, were he calling the shots, would likely have called for the extermination of the planet without a second thought.
However, they had neither the man power nor the present resources to handle such a task. Still, something felt off about the information he was getting. But if Glaceo wanted to move on, he'd do just that. "That all being said," he began as he glanced around before continuing, "could you give me the coordinates to the home of the ruler of this world?" Arkos didn't expect to get an answer so simply. "Even if you don't have such exact information, simply pointing me in the right direction would be helped." He added after a brief moment of contemplation on the matter.
As the rebel meeting continued soon a new alert would blare through the meeting place. If they had been wondering why nobody else had been showing up, it was because they may have been busy. On the other side of the planet, other PTO pods had been spotted. As they plummeted to the planet one of the pods crashed through a large building on one of the moving cities. These pods, and the armor of the individuals in them, however, bore the insignia of Cooler. The Brother to the self-proclaimed "Galactic Emperor" Frieza and arguably more controlled of the two. Even so, within each army were oddballs. This force was had taken inspiration from the Ginyu Force. Though still fiercely loyal to Cooler, they took the words "by any means necessary" to be the most important part of their orders. It was always a good excuse to just begin with an attack. Get antagonized and give a reason for why and how it came about genocide to commandeer the planet.
"So much for the element of surprise." One of the individuals, a large humanoid snake like being with red scales said as he exited his pod.
"And who's fault is that." Another voice, from a female anthropomorphic cheetah like being, rang out soon after. the bickering would continue as the five finally emerged and gathered, staring down the city which had stopped in its tracks after the sudden crash and arrival of unknown visitors.
