@Lady Amalthea Hmm, well you could always propose the new ruleset in a PM. If anything that'd allow for collaboration between moderators and community. I doubt I'm the right man for that given my reputation, but perhaps one of the moderators wants to pick it up and make work of it.

@Lady Amalthea well considering that the rules are also unclear and outdated it might be worthwhile rewriting them entirely and clarifying a whole lot/repairing broken links, right? Or is that also what you're doing atm?

@Lady Amalthea Perhaps something to consider for us, or otherwise something I could do is go through the existing rules and point out flaws, or otherwise rewrite them entirely, if the moderators agree with some user input/rewriting, at least?

The pace in starting up a roleplay

@NuttsnBolts I usually put the character sheet in the interest check but my interest checks generally last a day. Maybe 2. I usually have the OOC all ready before I even post the interest check, and that's because I know interest checks are fucking useless. I generally wait until I have the required amount of CS's but, given that I roleplay exclusively with my friends in group RP's nowadays, and everyone else is just 'extra' in that endeavor, that usually means I'll wait a day or three. I write the IC on the moment I open the IC.

On another note, when was the last time we had any contests [as noted by the sidebar] or community advertisements like the staff used to promote?

The last contest was a while ago but no new one has been hosted. I believe they were hosted every month but, to be honest, I'm not sure. I think we're overdue for one.
